For this reason, we can fast and pray all night, yet have no victorious result because these are not necessarily sprits, but habits that have become a part of who we are. In order to be free from it's grip, in addition to prayer, we must identify the characteristics connected to the tree by means of spiritual discernment, and take steps to no longer walk in it. We have all heard messages on the fruit of the Spirit, but not many pastors get into the works of the flesh. The problem with this is that we can not truly walk in the Spirit if we are still walking in the lust of the flesh. We have ben taught to copy the fruit of the Spirit, but we lack the total victory that comes with it because we have not defeated the works of the flesh. In this series, we will discuss each works of the flesh and identify it's root causes and then destroy it, thereby allowing us to finally walk in total victory.

He describes the process of repentance and returning to God, and stresses that God’s commandments are achievable and “not in the heavens.” Vayeilech (“He Went”) opens as Moses tells the Israelites that he will not lead them into the Land of Israel, and that Joshua will take over. He instructs the Israelites to gather and read Torah publicly every seven years. At God’s command, Moses writes a poem bearing witness to God’s covenant with the Israelites.

He describes the process of repentance and returning to God, and stresses that God’s commandments are achievable and “not in the heavens.” Vayeilech (“He Went”) opens as Moses tells the Israelites that he will not lead them into the Land of Israel, and that Joshua will take over. He instructs the Israelites to gather and read Torah publicly every seven years. At God’s command, Moses writes a poem bearing witness to God’s covenant with the Israelites.

There is a cloud of debate surrounding what day Yom Teruah, or Rosh HaShana, as it's known today, actually begins. A majority of people, comprising of both Orthodox Jews and Messianic Jews prefer to rely on the calendar, however, there are still others, like myself, that prefer the method of sighting the New Moon as a marker, much like ancient Israel did. In this segment, we delve into what the Bible says as opposed to todays tradition. There are countless views on what is right, or even who is right, but at the end of the day, it should be about what the Bible says, that we all hold as right.  At the end of the day, I do not want it to be assumed that I am "shooting shots" at the views of others, and as always, you are free to believe how you see fit. My only intention is to provide more information for you to better understand various views and to make a decision that best fits how you understand.

Despite all this, He labeled them as people who practiced lawlessness. Today we dig into this to get more insight on it. Prayerfully, what we learn will assure us that we do not share the fate of these other believers.
