He was a husband, a father, and a “normal” Gulf Coast guy until addiction kept taking more than he could pay. Charlie's voice trembles slightly as she recounts the unimaginable horrors of her past. Born in the South and raised in poverty, her childhood was marked by sexual abuse from her grandfather while her mother turned a blind eye. School offered no escape—bullied mercilessly for her appearance, she dropped out in seventh grade, seeking acceptance wherever she could find it.

By his twenties, he was transporting hundreds of pounds of cocaine across state lines while maintaining a respectable job at Chevron and hiding his addiction from his family. The turning point came after a night of heavy substance abuse when Mike woke up stuck to his carpet from his own vomit, bloodied fists from punching walls, and a loaded shotgun nearby—evidence of contemplated suicide. Brad's Story:  I was born in a Bad neighborhood in Gulfport without a father, he committed suicide when I was a baby.  My mother died when I was 12 years old. I got affiliated with a Gang at a youthful age and started using drugs. I ended up in prison for the third time and the gangs wanted to kill me. I gave my life to Christ of November 12th, 2020, in SMCI Prison in Mississippi. Today, I am a new person, with a new life, and promoting God’s mercy and forgiveness.
