Hello Cobb County once again!

After a hiatus of many months while we figured out exactly what sort of podcast we want to present from the Cobb County Courier, we're doing a second launch, this time with a straightforward recap of some of our stories from the past week.

While we work through the technical details, the podcast will be once per week, around ten minutes long.

This week we cover an upcoming mixed-use development on the East West Connector, the Family Justice Center announced by Cobb DA Joyette Holmes and several other stories.

Hello, Cobb County, is a podcast of the Cobb County Courier, a local independent online news site providing news and information from the third largest county in the State of Georgia.

In this first episode, we cover the appointment of Dr. Jackie McMorris as county manager by the Cobb County Board of Commissioners, we have an interview with Rose Bishop, who's leading the Healthy Start Project of Cobb & Douglas Public Health, and have a segment on the Cobb County School District's objections to residential development that might bring families into neighborhoods with overcrowded schools.
