The guys chat everything disc golf with Mike, including what it takes to keep over 170 yearly events on the Illinois tournament schedule running like clockwork and a bit of how the rules of disc golf evolve and grow. We also dive into running the mammoth Club Challenge at Lemon Lake and how it got to be such a beloved monster event.

Mike also proves to be a worthy opponent in this episode's Trivia Portion of the Night.

Alex mourns finding out his favorite disc is discontinued, and Sean minds his 'Ps and Qs' around our guest. Ryan has an arguably indecent show-and-tell, and Jason reveals several childhood nicknames.

Sean hangs out with his friends and has a good time, and Alex is just a step in the bossman's ladder, but he's got dreams he'll never take away. Ryan is elated over a warehouse full of hard wood, and Jason is still in love with a band he saw at Oysterfest in 2007.

Sean can't believe Dellwood has been around for 10 years already, and Alex defines his passion for nugget ice. Ryan doesn't understand why people won't just buy things they like, and Jason has just experienced the GREATEST CONCERT OF ALL TIME.

Season 5 Episode 8 - Bomb pops and Skrimps (Summer Recap)

Season 5 Episode 7 - Home Course Improvement

Season 5 Episode 6 - The Ripple Effect with Jorge and David Piña

This is one for the books, folks. Future guests take note: there is no going back after this episodes guests, Jorge and David Piña, show up and kick things off right with a full barbeque spread that damn near brought the crew to tears. Once they all had their fill of brisket, chicken, ribs and elotes, they got down to brass tacks and dug into how the Piña brothers (and family) continually make such a lasting impression on the disc golf community. They discuss their ongoing involvement in, well... everything: area leagues, tournaments, course projects and clean ups, and more. Also, they try and find out how these two guys are somehow able to play every single tournament in the area.

The crew gets updates on the fantasy tournament, many wheels are spun, and the tiny wheel again makes an appearance or two.

Sean is stoked about an email he received from what we all assume is a secret fan of the show (come on!), and Alex might have found the cause for his pinched nerve. Ryan is excited about teaching a new dog old tricks, and Jason might not be from this planet.

Season 5 Episode 5 - Fox Prairie Recap and More!

The crew settles back down at Callahan Acres to try and digest the giant meal that was the trip to Fox Prairie. They discuss the course in more detail now that they have gotten the full picture from the Halley family - not just its history but what may be in its future. They also chronical some of the nonsensical events that occured while on the way down and back. After reminiscing, everyone gets an update on the Fantasy league. There are plenty of spins to be spun and punishments to hand out.

Sean steals Ryan's fired up for the Nth time and buys a weedwhacker, while Alex can't wait to be naked under a kimono. Sheila has found the best kept secret in dining establishments, Ryan gets far to worked up about grass, and Jason is fired down about not being able to appreciate things like a teenage girl.

Season 5 Episode 4 - UD Destination Fox Prairie: Build it and they will come

The UD crew takes a short-lived, but unforgettable trek to southern Illinois to check out the new and highly rated Fox Prairie disc golf course. They all expected to play some disc golf and interview Erin and Raegan Halley (course creators), but what they experienced made this the trip they'll remember forever.
Midway through their first round at Fox Prairie on day one, they were able to experience the eclipse of the sun in totality (a detail that the 'deucer had made come to fruitation when originally planning the trip - because of course she did), which set the perfect tone for the rest of what was to come.
The whole Halley clan immediately made them feel like family, keeping them well fed, well entertained and well rested. They were given ATV tours, scooter tricks demonstrations, history lessons, and full access to their massive barn.
The next day, they were able to sit down and record with the Halleys and get into how the course was made and what makes it so special. After recording, Erin and Raegan joined them for another round so they could fully absorb the course in all its detail.

Sean immediately wants to move to southern Illinois, while Alex can't stop laughing at Jason's cartoon snoring. Ryan might start shopping at Walmart again, and Jason can't help but compare disc golf to video games.

Season 5 Episode 3 - Look what the Big Cat Dragged In with Ryan Stilson

The guys are fresh off the course, after testing some new tee pads at Callahan Acres. They sit down with long time disc golfer and new Dellwood Disc Golf employee Ryan Stilson. Ryan outlines his very complicated vetting process for being accepted as a member of Team Gateway, and why that small grass-roots company has recently been so successful. He also sheds light on the photo phenomenon he started and his transition from the white-collar life to the high life at Dellwood Disc Golf.

Fantasy Frisbee is also updated, as the streak continues for one lucky bastard.

Sean gives himself an ultimatum for the team challenge, and Alex is off the chain. Ryan whores out his house for cash, and Jason cheats on UD with another podcast.

Sean gets in touch with his feelings, and Alex embraces the 'anxiety' nickname given to him while he was away. Ryan divulges his still-present fear of Freddy Kruger, and Jason has a bathroom story that needs to be heard to be believed.

Season 4 Episode 13 - Nightmares on Disc Golf Street

The podcast is down a man, as Alex is sick with Covid. The show must go on, however, so the 'Deucer steps in as the crew embraces the spookiest of seasons and discusses their own top 10 disc golf nightmares. They reveal a lesser-known real life story about 'Dead Man's Cave', the now defunct dam behind the Canyon's hole 17 long tee pad. Also, Sheila has just recently returned from her trip with the girls to Sandy Point. While on their trip to disc golf heaven, Stu (Sandy Point's infamous groundskeeper) gave them a tour of the supposedly haunted Lakeview cabin and gives them several first hand accounts of strange happenings.

Sean is finally ready for it all to wind down, and Sheila mistakenly trusts her husband with scratchy lottery tickets. Ryan won't shut the f$&k up about the shed, and Jason may finally be done with Starbucks and manicures.

Season 4 Episode 12 - Destination Penetrated aka Idlewilded with Jason Kerl and Adam Jones

They actually did it! The crew drove down to the Destination-Penetration course winner and world famous Idlewild Disc Golf Course in Burlington, Kentucky. They spent two full days taking in the intense and incredible disc golf that the greater Cincinnati area has to offer, as well as consuming some of the area's finest 'chili'. They stopped at 'The Nati', famed midwest disc golf shop, and were able to convince owners Jason Kerl and Adam Jones to sit with them for an impromptu episode that is one of their best ever. Set up just outside their shop amongst the background of Mt Airy's hole 1, they step away from the normal format and get into all things Cincinnati disc golf - what it takes to keep things rolling in the area, relationships with parks and the city, and the trials and tribulations of being a TD, past and present.

Sean immediately makes two new best friends, while Alex can't wait to get back to the hotel hot tub. Ryan feels validated as a broke TD, and Jason is sore head-to-toe from diving into the deep end in his first official full round of disc golf.

Season 4 Episode 11 - Pressure From the Bottom - with Eric Savoie and Kevin Derrick

Season 4 Episode 7 - The Steaks are High with David Cope

The guys bring in friend, disc golfer and cannabis connoisseur David Cope to the mic to get the latest with the Fox Valley Metro Disc Golf Club, and to get serious about the role cannabis has and should play on and off the course. David has experience as a long time professional budtender and hosts a live Youtube show called 'Peace, Love and Cope'. He gives some invaluable insight and knowledge about this unfortunately stigmatized plant. They discuss some of the ways cannabis can/should be used on the course, but also medically as a viable treatment and as a very powerful symptom and pain reliever. David surprises everyone with some nuggets from shows past and proves that he has been keeping up on the UD episodes.

The guys also finish the Destination Penetration bracket, but things got very real with a twist!

Sean geeks out about a different podcast, and Alex doesn't really care what happens, as long as he gets to go camping. Ryan will never trust another guest of the show, and Jason pulls back the curtain to his maniacal mind and forces the guys to play a game he just made up while sitting in traffic.

After an unexpected, but riveting adventure of a lifetime, the guys come back to reality for a more traditional episode. They talk destination courses, and the Deucer set them up with a sweet-16-style bracket with the top free courses in the world. Complete with uDisc stats, landmarks, and local attractions, the guys had to work their way through to see which course come out on top. They also get into local course stats (thanks again to uDisc) and reveal some surprising and encouraging numbers.

Sean is excited to have to remember how to play disc golf again, and Alex can't wait to tell the world how humble he is. Ryan received plans to build an upscale Las Vegas hotel/casino, and Jason might have to resort to eating insects.

Season 4 Episode 3 - DELLWOOD and DRAGONS Part 1

The UD universe as we know it has been thrown into chaos as Jason and the Deucer turn the normal format on its head. Unbeknownst to the rest of the crew, and in only 4 days time, devised what can only be described as the GREATEST TABLETOP GAME OF ALL TIME. Complete with color coordinated dice, custom printed playing cards in sleeves, as well as a table full of snacks and a full case of Mt Dew Code Red, no effort was spared, and no detail was left behind.
The game was a mystery and unfolded before Sean, Ryan and Alex as they set out on their journey playing a round of disc golf at the Canyons. They faced many an obstacle, and encountered many Dellwood characters - some well known, some soon-to-be known, and all unforgettable. Follow along as this tenacious triumvirate navigates their way though what is sure to be the adventure of a lifetime, or at least a good few Thursdays worth.

They also give some details on some new, but certainly not widely known, PDGA rules and regulations. Meanwhile, Sean wants to start peddling night lights, and Alex still has scars from a 7pm bedtime. Ryan is fed up with the misinterpretation of groundhogs day, and Jason wants to tell us about (...you're going to need to sit down for this one...) the GREATEST SHOW OF ALL TIME.
