The Music Stopped on Valentine’s Day, a full-length radio play, tells the story of Avi Noam Gross—my late husband—whose life ended due to a medical error. It weaves this painful narrative with his music, because I needed a way not only to tell what happened, but to honour Avi’s extraordinary musicianship.

Avi was a gifted composer and pianist. He completed his thesis on Bill Evans at the University of British Columbia, and his instrumental album Sophie’s Heart is currently streaming. This piece features his standalone songs as well as music from our original musicals, The Calling Hour and Meshugeneh, the Musical. The Old Show had already been written, and we were on the verge of workshopping it when Avi received the Tdap vaccine and suffered a catastrophic reaction.

I won’t go further into the details here—you know the story does not end well.

With The Music Stopped on Valentine’s Day, I hope you will come to know what happened to an extraordinarily talented, humble, and deeply intelligent man—one who was often misunderstood because of his unique nervous system, which placed him on the autism spectrum. 

It will be three years this Valentine's Day that Avi passed. With any luck he's hanging out with Bill Evans.

Having a great interest in mind control, I discovered Jason Christoff at NCI - National Citizens Inquiry - an amazing Canadian people-led group diving into what went wrong during Covid. The present theme and question is  Are children safe in Canada? (I spoke on the Flexner Report of 1920 in Edmonton in March 2025. The Flexner Report sabotaged our medical system by making our health care solely allopathic, excluding systems of medicine such as homeopathy, naturopathic medicine, chiropractic, midwifery and traditional  osteopathy.)         

Jason has spoken on the subject of mind control at the US Senate and at the EU, Japanese and Romanian Parliaments. Jason operates an international psychological reprogramming institute where he teaches health professionals and members of the general public how to use positive forms of mind control, to make their lives (and the lives of their patients) better.Jason is set to release his first documentary titled PLANET MIND CONTROLthis fall, 2025. 

In order to win the battle we're all in today Jason believes that each citizen must educate on the basics, in relation to how mind control works and how to avoid becoming a victim of it.

Victimhood is another topic I hope to discuss through this podcast as I regain equilibrium after my husband's death by medical error. To that end my one woman show will start off as a radio play. I hope to have it ready to air by October 2025.

This journey of grieving has been intense and I want to thank so many- family, friends, strangers, new friends from Har El, the grief group out at N Van City Library as well as PJ and Beau for almost daily walks. And NCI for hope and strength to get our world on a better course.

The deep healing that can occur through the Expressive Arts is only beginning to be acknowledged. In this episode I speak with solo show coach Jessica Lynn Johnston. She was my acting coach and director in my last solo show, Hidden. (See heatherherington.com for review).

Writing my novel Flawed was lifesaving when I felt burn out from treating sexual abuse survivors as well as treating PTSD, addiction, autoimmune and so on for so many years. It allowed me to expresss emotion through my thoughts and ideas, helping me discard stress through creativity. And I kept writing whether it was the librettos fro Avi and my musicals or radio plays, essays and finally the books, Surviving a Viral Pandemic through the lens of a naturopathic medical doctor and Transforming Trauma, a drugless and creative path to healing PTS and ACE. 

But for me performing solo shows has been the pinnacle. With Avi writing my tunes and singing them on stage while acting out my own sexual assault and embodying characters that supported my emotional recovery generated a healing so profound that I was actually shocked. And now years later I am creating a show about my late husband Avi Noam Gross who died from hospital error. And so with my acute grieving having subsided I am excited to bring my workshop back. Originally a retreat and called Moving the Pelvis to Healing, I am now naming it, Transforming Trauma through the Expressive Arts.

This episode grew out of my meeting Shawn Buckley - lawyer and organizer extraordinaire - at NCI- National Citizen's Inquiry. He has done an excellent job there along with his wife Theresa and Ted Kuntz (see an early episode on Dr Heather Uncensored) and so many others...it is SO exciting to know this organization exists. I spoke at the event  held in Edmonton in March. That conference was titled Are Children Safe in Canada? As an expert witness I spoke on The Flexner Report of 1910 and how that has sabotaged our right to a full spectrum of healthcare.

This episode talks about grieving and how and why an approach using both naturopathic medicine and the expressive arts can keep you balanced and sane, literally in this difficult but precious time.

Grieving the loss of a loved one is not easy work. This is why it's so important to do whatever you can on your own to balance your body and mind in every way you know how.  My book Transforming Trauma, a drugless and creative path to heal PTS and ACE (Adverse Childhood Events) that ironically came out a few weeks before my husband went in the hospital there is a lot of information and measures offered to  maximize the best health possible, ensuring metabolic pathways get what they need to do the best job whether optimal nutrition,  supplementation, help in digestion and sleep, and so on. If we alternatively we comfort ourselves with sweets or late nights or other draws we can soon take a deep dive in our emotions and mental health.  I know it's not easy, I'm going through it myself, but what choice do we have? It can be a fine line between sanity and mental imbalance all the while you're in the midst of deep grief. 

By tending to our needs with a bit of care we feed healthy metabolic avenues that affect the brain and help instead to calm the intense emotions that accompany grief and often shock, even if you thought you were preparing for the inevitable. Knowing how to take care of yourself on the physiological level can mean making or breaking the psychological level. If we can make choices that give us both comfort and nutrition we can maintain or gain enough energy to feel the loss instead of simply jumping back into bed and pulling the covers over your head waiting for the pain to recede. (Although you can do that if you need to, you will most likely crater further which will lead to exhaustion and depression.) And this is when the expressive arts come into play, by choosing to write or sing or act or draw or sculpt we allow our creativity to take us to understand our loss, giving your grief a voice as you allow yourself to feel your emotions, tending to your grief,  and in time move forward. Yes it means focus and work but this is very special journey, and as you feel and grieve your loved one you also feel the gratitude of the time you had together. That's the loss, the joy and comfort, and familiarity, whether you are grateful for their laughter or their

This episode completes the tragic story of Avi's passing by hospital error.  This is Part 2.

Although the cause of his original problem was TDap vaccine we did get him well after two heart attacks and a stroke. There was nothing wrong with his brain and his heart and body were healing after we initially got him well with homeopathy and botanicals and music. 

He was set to come home the day he died. The point of this episode is to encourage anyone who has experienced a fatal hospital error of a loved to talk about it, write about it, do a solo show about it. We need all of our stories in order to change the way hospitals operate. 

We must have access to natural medicine, to homeopathy in particular in the ICU. Once you experience what can be done to help alleviate suffering through these methods, to see how a person can get out of an induced coma we must realize this is our inherent right. To use what we know to heal. Overturn the upshot of the Flexner Report. Bring back natural medicine to all phases of healing. Have a well-trained homeopath and naturopathic medical doctors at all hospitals. With our health or sick care system crumbling we must have alternatives, we must make our way to a whole new paradigm in hospital care, let alone any other care.

This story is mine but what I have realized over the last 14 months is how many people have a similar one. Our hearts have broken, losing a loved one, due to ineptitude, exhaustion, ignorance and/or prejudice.

The fact that natural medicine is basically banned in hospitals at least in North America is no longer acceptable. Natural medicine must be included whether through homeopathy, botanical medicine, organic and optimal nutrition, hydrotherapy, visualization and so on.

I have been outraged to hear so many have a similar story. As a naturopathic medical doctor my husband could have lived many many more years with how I was helping him even on the sly. Truly we have the tools to help others even in a dire hospital setting.

As you will hear homeopathy did come to the rescue, the added supplements and botanicals from general naturopathic medicine did strengthen him. But then ...in the end, hospital procedure ruled Avi's fate.

In this episode I can finally speak of the tragedy that I went through. It was such a shock because he died on the day he was to come home after almost three months in the hospital.

I am on the road now looking for my next home (and garden) and so the usual additions such as music and sound effects have not been included.

The October 7 Massacre. Between the atrocities committed to the reaction of the world to it there is a sense of tumbling into the bleakness of the human mind that I have never experienced before. Friends, good friends of mine, were in denial. From the first day I heard, "That's not true, babies weren't beheaded, women weren't raped," they wrote or told me on the phone. I don't know what I would have done if I had been face to face with them. (I was moving up to northern California. Thank G_d for small mercies.) I knew it was so. If I said, "Yes I am a Zionist, this is the Jews' ancestral land," I was yelled at. This happened over a period of weeks. 

Truth is when your husband dies (on Valentine's Day, the day he was supposed to come home, killed by the hospital system) nothing can shake your resolve or question what you know in your heart to be true. For me the worst had happened. 

Just to be clear I can't wait to hear that Netanyahu and his cronies have been ousted. We can save that for another time. 

This episode focuses on the women and children who were raped, mutilated, many shot in the back of the head while their murderers, monsters, laughed.

Chronic pain can seem endless and the situation hopeless. But that doesn't need to be the case. Because the brain gives the orders we can manipulate the situation when we understand neural signaling pathways and other pathways and organs to calm the pain response. In fact there is little difference in dealing with physical or physiological pain than psychological pain. So you can use my book, Transforming Trauma, a drugless and creative path to healing PTS and ACE (adverse childhood experiences) as a way to heal.

When we tap into the body's basic needs, making sure to stay on an anti-inflammatory diet, know out allergies and investigate the mind-body connection we can alleviate many of the sources that keep us in chronic pain. Sometimes it's as simple as being well hydrated (coconut water is amazing for this) and sometimes it's just know a certain thought or feeling gives rise to psychic distress. Observe yourself is a mantra I learned as a teenager when I started meditating and this practice can free you up in a way never thought possible.

Kara Dansky is a feminist, attorney, public speaker and author of The Abolition of Sex, How the "Transgender" Agenda Harms Women and Girls.

This is a must listen to episode.  When you hear that women are not just in prisons with violent male sex offenders but are locked in the same cell you can't help but realize something is very cuckoo going on. Kara goes through why this is a movement steeped in sexism, authoritarianism, is corporate driven and engages in regressive ideology. 

I believe that trauma and the environment is often at the core, that the approach, understanding and treatment to people feeling they need to change sexes is wholly inadequate. This episode sees Ethel returning from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, believing the mandates are over. Little does she know the SAG-AFTRA board - Duncan Crabtree-Ireland et al - informed by uninformed medical doctors have extended the mandates til the end of January 2023. So absolutely unfair, ridiculous and ignorant!!

Main part of this episode is the beginning of the audiobook for Transforming Trauma, a drugless and creative path to healing PTS and ACE. I am so thrilled this all came together and I thank everyone who added a quote. I am so grateful to my husband Avi for all he did to bring it to where it got to and to Georgina Bentliff, publisher of Hammersmith Books in the UK. I also thank Sophie and Katie at Read Media for all they have been doing to get me on radio shows.

The book is published in the UK and distributed by Chelsea Green in North America. It was supposed to be available a couple of weeks ago but the supply chain with the cost of fuel rising is real and has affected the book's arrival in North America. It is now scheduled for November 14.

If you are in the US I hope you voted for candidates who believe in medical freedom this week. This issue must be our most important issue so we have not only sovereignty over what goes into our bodies but that we choose what medical system we adhere to for instance respecting the adage vis medicatrix naturae, the healing power of nature.

Things are a-changing; Pfizer director admitted when asked by Rob Roos, member of the European Parliament, that the vax was never tested for stopping transmission (and it doesn't.) The narrative is interestingly and excitedly unraveling. Still don't understand why smart people have gone along with it but then you see people driving alone in their car wearing a mask...wow science and health class just didn't cut it...

Today I am so happy to have Dr Michael Mason-Wood to teach us about plant medicine and men's health naturally. His website is renewedvigour.com. (He is in Canada so don't forget the "u".

"I grew up in Mayo, Yukon, a First Nations community.  I was taught to value the planet we live on and this is where my passion for environmental medicine, plant medicine and gardening was initially birthed. 

 Prior to becoming a Naturopathic Doctor, I started my mining career as a placer (gold) miner on Duncan Creek, Yukon.  After getting a geology diploma from NAIT, I worked for a few companies exploring the wilds of the Yukon and Alaska, even working for a short time in the south pacific country of Vanuatu.  My love for botanical medicine lead me to get a degree in Biological Science from Simon Fraser University, not knowing that naturopathic medicine was a real thing. 

 Since becoming a father, I have become even more passionate about the environment.  I want to ensure that there is a planet for my grandchildren to thrive in which is why I completed advanced specialty training in Environmental Medicine and Autism.  One of the missing links in Western medicine is connecting the rising rates of infertility to the increase in chemicals we are exposed too.  I like to use the garden analogy since I am a gardener.  If you want to be healthy, you have to take care of the body (ie soil) and give it the right nutrients as well as environment (sun, water) in order to grow an amazing crop.  I truly believe that we need to be proactive about our health using functional (i.e., Naturopathic, integrative) medicine to prevent many different diseases."

He was inspired to study homeopathy when he read Gandhi’s quote about homeopathy, how it was “…the latest and refined method of treating patients economically and non-violently.”  He has been studying homeopathy since 1987 and graduated from the New England School of Homeopathy in 1990. Kim was in clinical practice with Dr. Paul Herscu, author of The Homeopathic Treatment of Children, Pediatric Constitutional Types. 

Kim is the former Director of Nutrition at Heartwood Institute, California, and has certified many nutritionists across the state of California. During that same time, he was the Director of Fasting at Heartwood, and worked with fasting therapeutics with thousands of people.

 When Kim was a trainer for Cell Tech, a company providing whole food nutritional supplements, he managed and trained a large group of independent distributors. He traveled throughout the United States presenting nutritional and motivational seminars and developing his trademark dynamic, entertaining lecture style.

Stephanie Seneff is a senior research scientist at MIT, where she has had continuous affiliation for more than five decades.  After receiving four degrees from MIT (B.S.. in Biophysics, M.S., E.E., and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science), she has conducted research in packet-switched networks, computational modeling of the human auditory system, natural language processing, spoken dialogue systems, and second language learning. Currently a Senior Research Scientist (MIT’s highest research rank) at the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, she has supervised 21 Master’s and 14 Ph.D. students. For over a decade, since 2008, she has directed her attention towards the role of nutrition and environmental toxicants on human disease, with a special emphasis on the herbicide glyphosate and the mineral sulfur.

This episode is about getting centered. When the whole world is topsy turvy and filled with lies and deceit we need to start with our own minds. We gather moments of breath in, breath out, nowhere to go, nothing to do, simply breath in and breath out. Over and over as we allow ourselves the chance to let our thoughts unfurl and feelings settle. As we go deeper inside ourselves we anchor ourselves to nature, to the universe, to the light to enlightened humans who have come before. It is our inherent right to grow wisdom and understanding in a world that is not speaking truth, We must become that voice, to understand the dangers and the need to come together as a community for peace. As the old adage says, Peace begins with me. And not only peace but strength from clarity of thought and emotion. We become forces to be reckoned with as we demand truth and justice.

So excited to be reading a bit from my book, Transforming Trauma, a drugless and creative path to healing PTS/D and ACE (adverse childhood experiences). Coming to a bookstore near you any day! So grateful to have all the endorsements including from MIT scientist Stephanie Seneff who's third episode with me will drop August 18. Her new work ( with three others including a naturopathic doctor Greg Nigh) on the consequences of the mRNA vaccines. We talk about why and how and what to do. Quite devastating but we were all warned. Now those who had to or thought it was a good idea must take charge of their health

Remember if you have COVID or the jab the best research is showing that organic dandelion greens will help stop the spike protein from damaging tissue and organs. (There is a past episode with more but dandelion greens are coming through research as the most solid.

The Health Freedom Defense Fund's latest win was getting the airlines to rescind the mask mandate!!! And now onto LAUSD: to stop the vaccine mandate that forced teachers including my husband to be fired.

Leslie Manookian is the president and founder of Health Freedom Defense Fund, a nonprofit which seeks to rectify health injustice through education, advocacy, and legal challenges to unjust mandates, laws, and policies that undermine our health freedoms and human rights. 

She is a former successful Wall Street business executive and award-winning documentary film producer and writer. Have things changed in the last 2 1/2 years? Has it all gone back to normal for you and your family and friends? What kind of things should we be paying attention to?

I talk briefly about my experience finally with Covid (or was it the flu?) from deer. The PCR test can't differentiate so it's hard to know. It felt like a bioweapon. Other unvaccinated friends have had the same experience. Whatever it was it was definitely not a normal virus. More on that in the episode.

And as for SAG-AFTRA...they are led by incompetent health professionals who have no idea what to suggest but the jab and masks, no idea the harm these cause. Or that we know when we are sick...and many people know all about Vitamin D and so on, glutathione...

Here is his bio: 
Dr. Kevin Stillwagon was raised in a chiropractic family and never received a vaccine of any kind. He always wanted to be a pilot and started flying at the age of 15. He followed in his father’s footsteps and became a chiropractor in 1980, licensed in the states of Florida and Pennsylvania. He self-published a book in 1984 on medical freedom and the dangers of vaccines and has been a medical freedom fighter ever since. He invented and patented a thermographic device in 1985 and taught its use worldwide. He became an airline pilot in 1987. In early 2020, he saw signs that loss of freedom over covid mandates could be worse than the virus and began to speak out at his airline employer, which forced him to retire because he refused to wear a face mask as part of his uniform. He continued to speak out at school board meetings and county commissioner meetings in various central Florida counties. Many of these were videoed, so he posted them on social media, some of which became very popular.

Rabbi Michoel Green is a published author, educator, and scholar of Judaic law.
An ordained orthodox rabbi for over 26 years, he currently serves as the spiritual leader of Congregation Agudath Achim and also as the director of the Chabad Center in Westborough, MA.

He writes and lectures widely on themes pertaining to Torah and contemporary thought, and is known for his creative approach to eschatology, paleography, and Biblical Hebrew etymology. Rabbi Michoel and his wife Dvora are passionate about homeschooling, homesteading, and healthy living.

In the past three years, Rabbi Green has emerged as an advocate for children’s education, religious freedom and medical ethics.

He has testified in front of numerous state legislatures and city councils, and works tirelessly on behalf of families whose children have been marginalized and banned from schools locally and throughout the country. He has assisted many thousands of people worldwide in asserting their religious liberty and body autonomy.

Ah some music...yay! Teri Smolens and Seabury Gould join me all the way from Northern California to sing original songs from their album, Newsicals, written during Covidtime. One of a kind!!

BIO: Teri Smolens, the singer - songwriter, has a lifelong connection to folk music and a background in musical theater. Growing up in the 1960s and 70s, she also had exposure to classic rock, jazz, blues, and the topical music made popular by the many rallies and protests of the era. Forced into early retirement from her catering business of 25 years by the 2020 lockdown's, she was left with lots of time to research (another passion) and write, shifting her shifting her creative outlet from food to songs. "Newsicals" was created to make the news, in some small way, music to the ears - perhaps easier to take in and digest via melodies and humor.

BIO: Seabury Gould is an eclectic musician, multi- instrumentalist, singer, recording artist, music teacher & storyteller. He is perhaps especially known for his singing & playing of guitar, bamboo flute & Irish bouzouki.  He plays solo & with other musicians in a variety of styles including traditional Irish/Celtic music, original songs, folk songs, blues, music of India, & Beatles songs. One of Seabury's main inspirations was folk musician & activist Pete Seeger who coined the phrase "Think Globally, Sing Locally".  He is originally from the Philadelphia area where he started playing guitar at age 11. He has lived on the 'Redwood coast' in Humboldt county for 18 years. Seabury is a composer, songwriter & arranger. He leads singalongs with an emphasis on "Hope-ful songs". In his extensive diverse work for adults & children, he facilitates musical wholeness through exploring how the ear, heart, hands & intelligence can be cultivated.

I was able to catch up with Seth again, this time in Indiana as the People's Convoy rests for a day. (The first one was a bit harsh as we were sorting out how to record. This one should be better quality although not mixed etc. )

So exciting there is a US convoy! I adopted Humboldt County beekeeper Seth Rick as my trucker and went to see them as they gathered at Adelanto Stadium for the beginning of the historic cross country journey. It was so windy and cold it was hard to stand up!

Although this is rough and raw it gives you an idea of what Seth is experiencing. Hopefully next time I can make it a bit more refined in terms of sound but then again it gives you a better sense of what's going on. Trudeau's Emergency Act is pathetic. The truckers came in peace, their bravery applauded yet Trudeau is running scared, refusing to end mandates even though the data this is correct and so many countries, provinces and states, have already done so. 

Today the Ottawa police attacked Alexa Lavoie, a rebel news reporter, most likely because she asked Trudeau about natural immunity a few months ago. Trudeau has a serious character flaw, and as someone who has specialized in trauma for over 30 years, I wonder why his need for control and refusal to communicate with the truckers. Many say it is because he is one of the elites and the truckers plebians...perhaps so but I think. its more than that, and we will probably never know why.

I read the words of Dr. Paul Alexander, one of the heroes of the scientific community, who is committed to truth.

Oh the times are so ridiculous, sad, annoying, unjust and everything else as mass psychosis continues unabated.  And then there's Canadian professor Dr. Julie Ponesse who wasn't thinking she was doing anything unusual rejecting the jab. Fired by Huron College of Western University after 20 years of service, she is now fighting for all of our rights. 

Dr. Ponesse speaks so eloquently of this crisis. She is the very definition of unassuming yet so clearly a rock, the quintessential guide to the abysmal ethics of Covid-19 management.  Her book, My Choice: The Ethical Case Against COVID-19 Vaccine Mandates, is a must read.

Right now Senator Richard Pan has introduced a bill into the California Senate to force children from the age of five o be jabbed by one more poisonous vax. Research, according to epidemiologist, Dr. Paul Alexander, shows they have absolutely no need of it, their immune systems robust enough to fend off Delta and Omicron variants of COVID-19.

In a time of a crime against humanity, public health officials determined to dispense poison as the way to defeat a virus, let Dr. Ponesse's experience be one more opportunity for humanity to come to its senses. Give us medical freedom. Oh and in California defeat Newsom and elect Reinette Senum for sense in policies that particularly target children.

A wanderer at heart, Reinette took to the extreme cold as a young woman, climbing mountains and organizing an all-women’s trans-Antarctic expedition. This ultimately led her in 1994 to become the first woman to cross Alaska, alone, in the dead of winter while filming this for National Geographic. An adventuring storyteller; filmmaker; writer; community activist; former city council member & mayor, Reinette is a curator of innovative ideas and loves getting her hands dirty.

Sussanna Czeranko ND is a licensed naturopathic physician in Saskatchewan, Canada. She has practiced for many years both in the United States and Canada.  Dr. Czeranko focuses on traditional therapies that include balneotherapy, hydrotherapy and peloids or medicinal mud in her medical spa, Manitou Waters Naturopathic Clinic.  She is a frequent presenter, nationally and internationally.  Having an avid love of history, she authored The Hevert Collection, a 12 volume series about naturopathic medicine, its therapies and its historical roots.  Sussanna launched the Breathing Academy, a training institute that incorporates a scientific model of breathing therapy called Buteyko.  She is the co-founder of the International Congress on Naturopathic Medicine and the inaugural conference chair of the Healing Skies Naturopathic Conference in Saskatchewan.

Jerry M. Kantor, Lic. Ac., CCH, RS Hom, MMHS is an East Coast homeopath, acupuncturist , teacher and an author. He has written a monograph, Advanced Academic Curriculum for Homeopathic Research Studies, and several books including Interpreting Chronic Illness, the Convergence of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Homeopathy and Biomedicine; The Toxic Relationship Cure: clearing traumatic damage from a boss, parent, lover or friend with natural, drug-free remedies; and Autism Reversal Toolbox, Strategies, Remedies, Resources. He was the first acupuncturist to receive an academic appointment at Harvard Medical School’s Department of Anaesthesiology. He also serves as Academic Consultant to the China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, U.S. Foreign Office and is a graduate of the Nanjing College of Traditional Medicine’s Advanced Acupuncture Program for Foreign Students.
         Mr. Kantor is the owner of Vital Force Health Care LLC, a Boston area homeopathy and acupuncture practice specializing in pediatrics, mental illness, autism spectrum ailments, and infertility. He is a former Board member of the Council for Homeopathic Certification and serves as Executive Director of the National Institute of Whole Health, located in Wellesley, MA.  is a former Director of Complementary Clinical Services for the Wellesley Center for Progressive Health, and a former Acupuncture Director of the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital Pain and Stress Relief Clinic in Boston. 
       His book, Heymischer Homeopathy, the Schmendrick's Guide to Remedying Yiddish Kvetches,  is both astute and hilarious.

Dr Heather Uncensored is based on her two books, Surviving a Viral Pandemic through the Lens of a Naturopathic Medical Doctor and the upcoming Transforming Trauma, a drugless and creative path to healing PTS. Beginning with this episode, and going forward, most interviewees will be representing some aspect of Transforming Trauma. Jerry represents both the power of homeopathy, and the need for humor (at some point) in trauma recovery.

Season Two! Episode One!

Dr. Heather Uncensored is still here after eighteen months getting the truth out to you and your families. So many lies, so much irrational behavior and yet people still follow Lord Fauci. Hard to believe. Enough trust in this man already!! He's been caught in so many lies.
Thankfully there are people like the fabulous Dr. Karen Felzer ! Such a pleasure to speak to someone who really understands science and interprets the data of COVID-19 honestly.

Here is her bio: Karen Felzer Ph.D. earned her B.Sc. from Stanford University in 1998 and her Ph.D. from Harvard  University in 2003, both in Geophysics. Professionally she has worked on studying epidemic-type earthquake sequences. In 2019 she began transferring her research skills to human epidemiology and health, first looking at the profound effects of artificial light and EMFs on health in our times, presented through the YouTube channel, Illuminating Health, and her website www.illuminatinghealthusa.com, and then on the real science and numbers behind mass vaccination, presented on her website www.homevaccinenetwork.com. The Home Vaccine Education Network's work on the connection between the flu vaccine and the COVID-19 pandemic was featured on the Corbett Report in 2020.

This episode Ethel is horrified that public health officials have fallen for Big Pharma's greed, advocating poison to be shot into our precious children's arms that they absolutely don't need. Here is the bio of the sublime Dr. Seneff :
Stephanie Seneff is a Senior Research Scientist at the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory.  She received the B.S. degree in Biophysics in 1968, the M.S. and E.E. degrees in Electrical Engineering in 1980, and the Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in 1985, all from MIT.  For over three decades, her research interests have always been at the intersection of biology and computation – developing a computational model for the human auditory system, understanding human language so as to develop algorithms and systems for human computer interactions, as well as applying natural language processing (NLP) techniques to gene predictions.   She has published over 170 refereed articles on these subjects, and has been invited to give keynote speeches at several international conferences.  She has also supervised numerous Master's and PhD theses at MIT. 
 
In recent years, Dr. Seneff has focused her research interests back towards biology. She is concentrating mainly on the relationship between nutrition and health.  Since 2011, she has published over 30 papers, together with colleagues, in various peer-reviewed medical and heath-related journals on topics such as modern day diseases (e.g., Alzheimer, autism, cardiovascular diseases), analysis and search of databases of drug side effects using NLP techniques, and the impact of nutritional deficiencies and environmental toxins on human health.

Paul Alexander holds a masters of science degree in epidemiology and community health from the University of Toronto, a masters of science degree in evidence-based medicine from Oxford University, masters schooling in Health Sciences also at York University, Toronto, and a PhD in evidence-based medicine and research methods from McMasters University, Hamilton. He currently holds a post as Assistant Professor at McMaster’s University in the HEI Research Methods department and completed his doctoral research and post- doctoral work under the founder of Evidence based medicine (EBM), Dr. Gordon Guyatt. He served in the Trump Administration as a senior COVID-19 advisor for the Assistant Secretary of Health and Human Services, and also worked for WHO and the Pan-American Health Organization in Washington, D.C. from February 2020 onwards as a COVID-19 consultant for research methods and related matters. He also worked for the WHO/PAHO prior to the onset of the pandemic in developing evidence based tools for low and middle income nations.

With my book, "Transforming Trauma, a drugless and creative path to healing PTS" coming closely on the heels of "Surviving a Viral Pandemic through the lens of a naturopathic medical doctor" I invited Dr. Christina Bjorndal to share her knowledge and wisdom on mental health. 

A licensed naturopathic doctor and established keynote speaker on how to regain your mental health using a naturopathic approach, Dr. Chris, co-founder of Natural Terrain, a naturopathic clinic in Edmonton, she is an authority in the treatment of mental imbalances such as depression, anxiety and eating disorders. She is regularly interviewed for print magazines and online resources as a leader in her field. She is the mother of a 12 year old boy who reacted badly to a vaccine and thankfully recovered due to the efforts of Dr. Chris and her naturopathic and First Nation husband, Michael Mason-Wood.

"While I was doing my undergraduate degree at UBC in the late 1980s, I experienced debilitating depression and anxiety that was difficult to treat. I also had an eating disorder and was not coping with the stress I was under. Like most people, I had not heard about naturopathic medicine or orthomolecular medicine, so I was treated with conventional medications that were ineffective.

"Six months after starting an antidepressant, I spun into a psychotic, manic episode. It took six people to wrestle me into a straight jacket. I was  injected with haloperidol and left in a rubber room to come back to reality. When I did, I was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder type 1. Since that time, I have lived in shame because of the label of bipolar disorder. I just wanted to be 'normal.'

"After surviving a suicide attempt (which left me in a coma, on dialysis waiting for a kidney transplant), I finally began the healing process after reading a book called A Return to Love by Marianne Williamson. Up until that point, I’d been living with the shame and stigma of the labels I had been given, and I had not accepted myself. I am so happy to be interviewing Dr Palevsky at this point in time because of my outrage that we as a society allow our precious children to be injected with toxic particles from experimental gene therapy. It feels like we are in 1930s Nazi Germany because if I thought it was ridiculous if not horrendous three decades ago when I first opened my clinic in Vancouver BC with so many children on antibiotics and/or eustachian tubes and then as the years went by shocked by so many given psychotropic drugs for behavior issues I am now completely and utterly out of my mind disturbed that we are jabbing them for a virus that very rarely affects children, or for that matter, healthy adults. As mRNA technology has never been used in this way, and we know so little about it for viruses, it is very possible this gene therapy - hanging out in our cells perhaps forever - will make people very, very ill over time, reacting to whatever is out there. And now we are giving it to children! Are we completely out of our minds? It is clear that government and the media haven't learned anything about health during COVID-19. Dr. Heather discusses Dr. Porges' work with him regarding the polyvagal theory. This shows how different parts of the vagus nerve of the parasympathetic system respond to where we are emotionally. We used to think the vagus nerve is all about calm and generating GABA, the calming hormone, but that in fact isn't true. By understanding what moves us or keeps us in the ventral vagus, the healthy mode, shines light on how we can move through trauma and everything else. It also shows how important social engagement is as this affects the nervous system deeply and is why compassion and community are so important to healing. I love that he was able to figure this out. He is also a professor of psychiatry at the University of North Carolina and professor emeritus at the University of Illinois at Chicago and the University of Maryland. His more than 350 peer‐reviewed scientific papers, published across several disciplines, have been cited in approximately 40,000 peer-reviewed papers. He holds several patents involved in monitoring and regulating autonomic state and originated the polyvagal theory, which emphasizes the importance of physiological state in the expression of behavioral, mental, and health problems related to traumatic experiences. An excerpt from my upcoming book, Transforming Trauma, a drugless and creative path to healing PTS this episode builds on a previous episode (#35) that has a guided meditation and visualization. Now we focus on Breath work, how and why, and the need to spend even a few minutes a day to practice this still point therapy in this challenging time.

Practice it consciously and you will have more control over your breath and this will give you the ability to recruit this easily accessible activity when you are anxious, fearful or just plain fishimeled. (Yiddish for confused). It works so well before an interview or audition, and it's simple, no one will even notice. 

This is the first step to master your innards, your mind, that is. It is a way inside that can calm the amygdala, straighten out our executive function that goes on in the pre-frontal cortex. So take a long breath in and an even longer breath out...whatever feels comfortable but the longer the exhale in relation to the inhale will help activate the vagus nerve, the ventral vagus nerve of the parasympathetic nervous system. 

A daily practice  will give you more control over your emotions, especially when things seem to be going sideways. Life then feels more calm, centered, you feel strengthened and all becomes in reach in a time when more than ever we need to take control of our feelings, thoughts and behavior to empower ourselves and heal the trauma of our beautiful planet.

Ted is the president of Vaccine Choice Canada and NCI. He came to understand how vaccines are damaging our children (and adults) in a most personal and devastating way. Lyn Patrick ND is co-chair of the annual Environmental Health Symposium happening the end of April this year. An old housemate of mine form Bastyr so long ago we talk about vaccines in Part 2 of our discussion about COVID and why so many in the naturopathic community have been brainwashed to believe they are something we should all line up for. The bottom line: vaccines are a coverup for bad healthcare. The fact this country (US) has such continually deteriorating health with some of the lowest healthcare scores in the world is something we should all be questioning. And if we don't the planet or at least the people on it will be going the way of the dodo and dinosaur.  In fact Belgium virologist Geert Vanden Bossche, who has worked with Gates et al, and is very pro vaccine, has stated that a mass vaccination plan in the middle of a pandemic is a terrible idea and that it will lead to a massive healthcare crisis including deaths. We can only wait and see come Fall when COVID variants will most likely spike again. All I can say, and Lyn and many others join me in urging you to make a choice based on sound scientific knowledge. The COVID vaccines are an experimental drug. Why put yourself in danger when building your immune system naturally is well within your reach? COVID Vaccines - This new technology is making those who are choosing to get vaccinated guinea pigs. Plus it doesn't stop you from transmitting the virus to others nor does it make you immune to it again. All it does is lessen symptoms if you don't get more serious side effects from the vaccine itself. Dr Lyn Patrick is a naturopathic physician who is co-chair of the Environmental Health Symposium 2021 coming up in April. The Pig and Chicken Chat was created in 2017, long before Covid crept out of a lab and into our landscape creating...well, so much tsouris (Yiddish for suffering) as well as misinformation. Of course Black Lives Matter.  (I know you know that.) And the sad and pathetic racism that continues to be experienced is not only in the United States. (I know you know that too.) 
I've always wanted to interview family friend Dominque Jacobs who was born in Cape Town, South Africa, fleeing persecution from the apartheid regime to come to  Canada in 1980s. She now lives in Victoria, British Columbia where she is raising four year old Jade on her own. She works for The Support Network for Indigenous Women and Women of Color continuing her work as a Communications Specialist with international experience. A passion for social justice issues, Dom identifies as an intersectional feminist. She is currently advocating the implementation of the International Decade of People of African Descent in British Columbia.

Dr Cayleff wrote Wash and Be Healed: The Water-Cure Movement and Women's Health before spending over ten years researching and writing an extraordinary history on naturopathic medicine - Nature's Path, a History of Naturopathic Healing in America. From the Introduction, "Late nineteenth century naturopaths were an eclectic collection of firebrands who, despite their vast differences, openly loathed many changes taking place in medicine at that time."
I just LOVE these books and loved talking to Cayleff. Turns out we were at the same national conference in Whistler BC when I gave my first major talk, "Triage in Treating Sexual Abuse Survivors."
