Robert Frederick. Robert hosts a podcast called The Hidden Life is Best, where he dives deep into the world of Shakespeare and Sir Francis Bacon. Was Shakespeare work actually written by Sir Francis Bacon?

Researcher Robert Frederick lives in New York City.  He has a degree in Fine Art and is an auto-didact focusing on the arts, literature and history.  One day, by a remarkable coincidence he stumbled onto the story of Sir Francis Bacon, years and years after becoming suspicious of the English Empire as the major cause of the ills of the world.  The discovery of the life of Francis Bacon unlocked a hidden treasure still being dug up and revealed. His first book "The Falsification of History’ was published in early 2012 following several years of intense research, followed in 2013  two ‘sister’ works on the Titanic disaster of 1912, the non-fiction ‘RMS Olympic’ and its companion, the novel ‘Titanic’s Last Secret.’

Andy Ross was born and raised in northern England in the once-prosperous city of Bradford, West Yorkshire.  However, having spent the majority of his adult life in the nearby town of Halifax, he now lives, along with wife Karen, in the picturesque village of Addingham on the very edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park. 

Andy is making his 2nd foray into novel-writing with One Hundred Degrees South - Beyond Belief.  The first book the idea came to him one evening whilst drinking at his local pub with good friend Lawrence Stoker who liked it - a lot - and suggested he turn his idea into a novel.  However, it soon became apparent to Andy, having never written previously, that he needed some help.  He had no idea whatsoever as to how to turn the idea into a novel so contacted John to see if he would be interested in co-authoring.  The rest, as they say, is history!

The book - "Adam Haylock and Sam ‘Dobbo’ Dobson, both ex-RAF, fully expect that life will now return to some semblance of normality after the cliff-hanging drama of their desertion beyond the Antarctic ice wall, and the fight for their lives in the skies over the land of Extrema". 

In this episode we continue the discussion around the brand new book and where the inspiration comes from. Including many not so talked about topics to do with the earth and history that should at the very least get people thinking.

Mark Sargent is one of the stars in the Netflix documentary "Behind the Curve" and creator of "Flat Earth Clues" on YouTube.

He started out playing software games professionally. As a part time hobby he'd investigate and debunk conspiracy theories. The 'Flat Earth Theory' was the last on the list. Thinking this would be an easy case he was surprised to discover that the rabbit hole extended further than he ever could have imagined.

Matthew "Matt" Bell's online persona is "The SynchroMystic." But, what does *that* mean?

SynchroMysticism can be thought of in relation to *synchronicity.*

In simple terms, "synchronicity" -- a term evidently coined by Swiss "depth-psychologist" Carl Gustav Jung -- refers to "meaningful coincidences." Jung was focused on events that were somehow connected in human experience, but that didn't appear to be related to one another causally.

In our wide-ranging discussion, Matt and I discuss Jung's "canonical example" of synchronicity -- the beetle. The story goes that during one of Dr. Jung's therapy sessions a young lady disclosed a dream she had in which an Egyptian scarab figured prominently. Legend has it that, at that moment (or close to it), a beetle appeared outside of Jung's office window.

If we assume that the story is veridical, then Jung thought the arrival of the insect -- occurring so soon after his patient's dream summary -- was a meaningful coincidence, thus... a "synchronicity."

As a first pass, a "SynchroMystic" is a person who looks for, notices, and reflects on these kinds of occurrences.

One of the cases that impressed Matt early on was that of convicted "Unabomber," Theodore John "Ted" Kaczynski. As initially pointed by contrarian Michael A. Hoffman, Kaczynski was ultimately arrested in or near the Scapegoat Wilderness, ten miles north of Lincoln, Montana. 

An worry is: Just what does this say about the Kaczynski case? As the fictional "Commissioner Jim Gordon" (portrayed by actor Gary Oldman) says in Christopher Nolan's 2012 film, "The Dark Knight Rises": "You're a detective now, son. You're not allowed to believe in coincidence anymore."

A number of more general questions also present themselves. Is synchronicity a genuine phenomenon? Is it just happenstance, as Carl Jung seemed to think? Or are some synchronicities caused after all? In short: If there are synchronicities, then how do we explain them?

Matt recommends that interested listeners might what to familiarize themselves with examples;

- The JFK assassination. James Shelby Downard and Michael Hoffman's book "King Kill 33" is a sustained investigation of the synchronicities swirling around the brutal murder of 35th U.S. President John Fitzgerald Kennedy, November 22, 1963.

- S. K. Bain's "The Most Dangerous Book in the World" is, as its subtitle discloses, a study of the synchronicities surrounding the attacks on the World Trade Center (in New York City) and the Pentagon (in Washington, D.C.) with an eye toward establishing that the event can be understood as a "Mass Ritual."

- On his YouTube channel, "The SynchroMystic," Matt himself has original presentations cataloguing synchronicities in such events as the COVID pandemic, the so-called "Capitol Riot" (of January 6, 2021).

Dr. Sam Bailey completed her medical training at the University of Otago, gaining a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB). As a resident doctor she worked in all areas of medicine, with a particular focus on Emergency Medicine and Cardiology. John Hamer is a geopolitical researcher and author. Since 2001 and the events of 9/11 which really he awakened  to what was happening in the world at large. His first book "The Falsification of History’ was published in early 2012 following several years of intense research, followed in 2013  two ‘sister’ works on the Titanic disaster of 1912, the non-fiction ‘RMS Olympic’ and its companion, the novel ‘Titanic’s Last Secret.’

Dawn Lester and David Parker have backgrounds in the fields of Accountancy and Electrical Engineering, respectively. These fields both require an aptitude for logic, which proved extremely useful for their investigation that has involved more than ten years continuous research to find answers to the question: what really makes people ill?

The authors’ investigation of why people become ill was conducted from a different perspective from that of the medical establishment; it was therefore free from the dogma and biases inherent within ‘medical science’.
