But, this new line of questions made me begin to doubt and distrust my English speaking buddy.

Finally he struck a note that was near and dear to my heart - he said, “if you will give me your wife’s name and address, I think I can get word to her through the Red Cross that you are alive and well.”

Many others did more, and less, in the furtherment of the war effort, but these can stand as examples of the others for they are all classified and typed "the brave Dutch."
