Mary Magdalene is a powerful Death Maiden – like a Valkyrie – guiding us through the sacred portal of death, life, and rebirth.

In the Norse tradition, the Sun Goddess is understood to have two expressions:

• One in the upper world, shining in the sky.
• And one in the underworld, burning as an inner fire within the earth, the sacred fire of transformation, healing and rebirth - a fire that also represents the fire of your soul.

As you let this golden light from both the upper world and underworld flow into you - you ignite the divine flame in your heart, so it can become like your own inner sun, shining its light into your life.

As the outer sun sets in the evening sky, I remember that your light never truly disappears, that your golden fire continues to burn in the hidden realms beneath the earth, and within the sacred divine flame of my soul.

May your golden fire heal me through the night, so that when the morning light returns, I rise renewed, ready to shine my soul's light into the world.

In this journey, you'll connect with the Tree of Life (your nervous system) where you'll be working on releasing what has kept you trapped in the past, through your roots (ancestral patterns and old programming).

You'll also work with the beautiful, ancient healer, the Serpent Mother. The Serpent is a symbol for the goddess, for healing, regeneration and rebirth, who shows us how we can gently let go of our old identities, old wounds and scars, just like she sheds her skin. She assists you in healing your body, as she represents how she can free herself from scars and disease by shedding her old structure.

The Serpent Mother sheds her skin in one big ‘swoosh’, so she is not peeling away one tiny piece at a time, taking forever, but instead she decides that it’s time to let go of the whole outdated structure. And through her willingness to let the past go, she gracefully slides out of her old confinement.

Trust that the Serpent Mother is a great healer. She is loving and wise, and she knows how to guide you to shed the past. I love working with her, and considering I have a snake phobia, her gentleness and healing medicine took me by surprise. (The way I've found peace around that, is that I see her as a Serpent, whilst my phobia is relating to snakes - and yes, I know they are the same, but somehow, this distinction has helped me).

During this journey you'll release many layers of that which has been holding you back, so you can move with more ease into the future.

It can be very helpful to regularly do a 'shedding' like this (just like the Serpent sheds her skin regularly), so you keep creating space for new life to emerge through you.

Through our linguistic part of the session, we start to see how this is a pattern of a deeper conflict between the mind and the body, the masculine and the feminine.

In my tracking, I can see how this energy is linked with how the feminine has been trapped in layers of abuse, suppression and violation from the masculine, from patriarchy.

Through our shamanic healing journey, she begins to release this, to shed this, so she instead can embrace the power and light of the feminine - which in this session appears as a similar energy as the Valkyries from the Norse tradition.

Now, an energy within her is beginning to rise, telling her that this is no longer acceptable. This is the energy of the feminine, and it’s longing to RISE within her.

In my tracking, I begin to witness how this problem energy is affecting her in the mythical landscape of her soul. It’s an energy that’s revealing the deep wounds in both her inner masculine and feminine, and we are being taken on a very magical journey, where she moves through a deep transformation and healing.

In the end, her inner feminine transforms into a giantess, and her inner masculine becomes a giant - so as she continues on her path through life, following her heart, she now has two giants walking beside her (plus her whole Spirit Team).

She’s terrified of walking her path - the path where she’s helping others in a deep way - but in order for her to walk this path, she has to wake up to the truth of who she truly is.

Through the linguistic part of our session, she discovers that she has a deep fear of stepping into her feminine magic, because she fears how it can be misused, and to protect the purity of this magic, she’s buried it deep within.

• The questioning part of the session is to help the client find more clarity in their mind.
• The tracking part of the session is for the shamanic practitioner to find more clarity in what is going in the mythical landscape of the soul of her client.
• The shamanic healing part of the session is when the practitioner guides the client into her body, into the domain of her soul and the feminine.
• The mythic mapping part of the session is when the client now can weave a new map for her future, which holds all the medicine, resources and gifts she has received during the shamanic healing session, and her understanding of these.

This is a very healing journey, into the sacred darkness, where you'll meet the dark goddess Kali, who'll help you release various limiting thought patterns and false beliefs; the Norse dark goddess Hel, who will help you release toxins, old ancestral programming and heavy energy; the Black Madonna, who will help you forgive yourself and others, so your love can reach deep into your very being, and the Celtic dark goddess Cerridwen who will help you find the medicine you need.

Freya is a teacher of Seidr - a very powerful form of Norse magic and shamanic healing, which was practised by völvas (female shamanic priestesses in the Norse tradition), and Freya was their teacher. They are called völvas because they had a staff – völva means staff carrier – and this staff is a representation of the Tree of Life, which helps us journey into the different domains of reality.

Freya is the goddess of the Vanir tribe, which is a tribe closely connected with nature, magic and witchcraft, so with the heart, the feminine and the magic of our soul. 

The Aesir tribe, on the other hand – is a tribe connected with the mind and the masculine (the sky gods, such as Odin and Thor). 

In the Norse Sagas, they talk about the First War – which is a war between the Aesir and the Vanirs, so a war between the heart and the mind - and as peace finally is found, Freya goes to live with the Aesir tribe, teaching them the art of Seidr. This can be seen as the heart teaching the mind about the magic of the feminine and the soul.

And this is key - you can’t learn this ancient feminine magic through your mind, you can only learn it through the heart – and Freya is a teacher of this ancient feminine magic. She is the light in your heart and in your soul.

The very first time I met this powerful kundalini energy it took me by surprise. I was doing an inner journey on myself, working on releasing the wounded energy around a problem I had in my life, where I noticed that in certain situations, I kept giving my energy away, and this was now draining me.

As I journeyed into the mythical landscape of my soul, I was being taken down into the lower world, where I was being led deeper into the core of Mother Earth, until reached an underground cave. And in here was a huge serpent tied up. Tears were streaming down her cheeks and telepathically she was pleading with me to help free her. I realised intuitively that she was an aspect of my kundalini energy, showing me how she was being held prisoner inside this cave. 

As I started to look around in this cave, I noticed that men were here, and they were abusing the serpent. They had ropes around her, and heavy chains, trying to suppress her power and life force, whilst at the same time, they were using her body as an energy source, as if they were feeding off her, taking what they wanted, draining her completely.

I could feel this power surge through me, and within me I roared: “NO MORE! STOP! GET OUT!” And I started to free this serpent. I cut the ropes around her, and loosened the chains, and as she started to be freed, she came to life. She wriggled herself loose, and for each wriggle she grew and grew and grew. 

And she started to rise, and as she was rising, all those old ways of trying to hold her down and keep her suppressed just fell off her. She grew even more, becoming like a giant serpent rising from deep within this cave, up through the layers of the earth, up into the freedom of the fresh air. She continued to rise, up towards the sky, up to the sun and the moon and the stars, and she was dancing and singing, whilst she continued to expand. She became one with the universe, totally liberated. 

And then she started to slowly come back down from the stars, down to the earth, where she greeted me again. She and I stood there, being present with each other. Then it was as if we became one, and I could feel her energy rise within me, in through my root chakra and into my spine, slowly rising up towards my brain, and then out through my crown to the sun, the moon and the stars, connecting me with the heavens.

I have, since that journey, been completely different. This was the first time I met the kundalini energy. Before that I thought it was just a concept, but from this experience I realised that she truly exists, as a metaphor in the mythical and energetic domain of my soul. She helped me restore my life energy, freeing me from the old ways where I had allowed myself to constantly give my energy away. 

In this journey you'll first shed the past, and then you'll meet this powerful divine feminine energy so she can rise within you, connecting you with this ancient healing wisdom that is longing to be awakened within you.

According to the Norse Sagas, we each have our own personal norn, like an inner fate goddess - and she can either be a Valkyrie, acting as a guardian angel guiding us to create our highest destiny, or she can be a hibernating norn, meaning she is asleep! 

When our inner fate goddess is a Valkyrie, we are living a life filled with purpose. But when she is hibernating, then we are sleepwalking through life, as if we are asleep to our own highest potential.

We all long to feel inner peace, so why is it that we so often feel everything but peaceful? What are the obstacles to peace?

Peace always begins with you, but there are 4 ways in which you block yourself from feeling peaceful, and this episode explains what these are, and how you can release yourself from their grip so you instead can connect with your inner peace.
