🎧 INTRO (Host Voice)

Welcome to the first episode of “Retired But Not Tired”—a podcast series designed to honor wisdom, experience, and the enduring calling of God in every season of life.

Today we begin with a powerful truth:

> Retirement ends a career, but it does not end a calling.

There are people who step away from formal work, but God never steps away from their assignment.

---

🌿 OPENING THOUGHT

Many people believe that retirement means stepping back into silence, rest, and withdrawal.

But in God’s kingdom, retirement often means redirection, not reduction.

It is a season where:

The body may slow down

The role may change

The title may disappear

But purpose remains alive

---

📖 KEY MESSAGE

The Bible shows us that some of God’s greatest assignments began after what the world would call “retirement age”:

Moses began leadership at 80

Abraham’s destiny accelerated in old age

Simeon and Anna were still serving in the temple in their later years

This tells us something powerful:

> God does not expire people—He repurposes them.

---

🔥 MAIN TEACHING

There are three truths every seasoned man and woman must understand:

1. Your Experience is a Weapon for Others

What you survived is someone else’s instruction manual.

2. Your Voice is Still Needed

Silence in old age is not humility—it is wasted influence.

3. Your Season is Not Over

If you are still breathing, you are still assigned.

---

🌱 LIFE APPLICATION

Ask yourself:

Who is learning from my life right now?

What wisdom am I keeping that someone else needs?

Am I resting from work—or resting from purpose?

God is not only interested in what you did—He is interested in what you will still pass on.

---

💬 CLOSING ENCOURAGEMENT

To every retired man and woman listening:

You are not finished.

You are not forgotten.

You are not expired.

You are a bridge between generations.

Your story is still preaching.

Your wisdom is still guiding.

Your presence is still needed.

---

🙏 FINAL WORD

In this series, we will continue exploring how experienced men and women can:

Mentor the next generation

Transfer wisdom intentionally

Strengthen families and communities

And remain active in Kingdom service

Because in God’s kingdom:

> You don’t retire from purpose—you only reposition for impact.
