Through loss, hurt and forgiveness, he learned an important lesson: healthy emotional processing doesn’t mean ignoring what you feel. It means being real about your emotions, getting them out, processing them and learning not to let them control you.

Rad asks some great questions as we talk about how to process emotions in a healthy way, how to forgive someone who hurt you, dealing with anger and bitterness, healing from grief, and choosing forgiveness even when the feelings don’t disappear overnight.

You can’t control the outcome of life. You can’t control whether someone apologizes, changes, or receives your forgiveness. But you can take responsibility for what you allow to grow in your own life.

What you water will grow.
