Carmel is licensed in six states and holds multiple clinical and professional credentials, including LICSW, LCSW, LISW-CP, CSTIP, CCTP-II, CMDP, CGP, and CFI. Her work spans behavioral health, therapy, psychiatric assessment, clinical leadership, and the complicated business of figuring out why human beings keep doing the shit they do.


She is the author of the upcoming book Lord, Is This a Test or a Man? — a funny, clinical, occasionally profane look at relationships, attachment, red flags, boundaries, and what happens when very smart women temporarily misplace several functioning brain cells because a man is fine.
