Carter talks about his latest short film, "Twenty-Nine Blocks", which has seen success on the film festival circuit this year, with screenings at the Hello From Fargo Film Festival, Unspooled Film Festival, as well as the upcoming Eagan Film Festival and Red Cedar Film Festival.  Carter talks about making this short film with a small crew, finding your own voice as a filmmaker, and where he finds inspiration for his films.

Carter also talks about how the character and history of Twin Cities locations lend themselves to making movies, and what he would tell young local filmmakers who feel they have to move to a city like Los Angeles or New York to be successful.
