Far from the bustle of Atlanta, in the Blue Ridge Mountains, sits the small town of Dyme, where something in the woods has been waiting for humanity to remember its place.

Clara Hathsbury has always been able to see things others can't. What moves in the dark,  refuses to be acknowledged, and best left undiscovered. 

But some horrors don't want to remain hidden.

When something evil awakens in the woods, Clara finds herself caught in the midst of haints, old secrets, supernatural forces, and lies that refuse to stay buried. She could run and accept the “logical explanations” everyone else believes. But Clara has spent seven years searching for answers to her mother’s disappearance and the very things trying to kill her may be what leads her to the truth.
