Welcome to the final episode of the 2025-2026 season of The Shore Beaver Buzz! This very special finale is dedicated entirely to our Grade 8 leaders. We caught up with every single one of our graduates to gather their final reflections, favorite memories, and the pieces of advice they want to leave behind for the rest of the Shore community.

Before we head into the break, we want to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who listened to our inaugural year. What started as a passion project has truly taken on a life of its own, and we couldn’t have done it without our amazing listeners.

It is the first tenant of our Community Code and the most commented on aspect of our school noticed by visitors to campus. Our students demonstrate kindness through their daily interactions, service work projects, and reflect on self-respect throughout their health and wellness classes. In this week’s episode, you will hear from Shore students about what kindness means to them and how it is shown around our school. We hope this kindness warms your heart the same way it does ours! 

If you’re a New England resident, Super Bowl XLIX was a guaranteed tune-in! The hallways were buzzing in the week leading up to the big game as the New England Patriots prepared to take on the Seattle Seahawks.

Though the night ended in a tough loss for New England, we at Shore are still celebrating a victory. Why? We’ve got two fourth graders, Jimmy and Charlie, ready to roll back the game tape and share their favorite highlights, toughest lowlights, and answers to a few rapid-fire questions.

In between their hot takes, you’ll hear updates on Shore’s own winter season. Listen as Upper School students share what they’ve been up to, and hear from Athletic Director Mrs. McNall about what’s ahead this spring!

Whether they’re popping into classrooms, cheering at campus events, or swapping stories from their Shore days, our alumni can’t help but light up when they talk about our school. This winter, we reconnected with voices from across our alumni community to reminisce about favorite memories and reflect on what a “Shore education” truly means. Tune in for heartfelt reflections and fun tidbits in Episode 9 of The Shore Beaver Buzz!

This episode idea was created by 5th graders that wanted to highlight their important role as “Big Buddies” in our Shore community. 8th graders also connected to share their experience as Shore Ambassadors, as well as their memories of being the younger students at Shore. Finally, our Kindergartners reflected on the best parts of being with the Big Buddies each week. We hope this listen provides you with some insight with how we form community across all ages at Shore.

It’s spooky season at 545 Cabot Street! In this special Halloween episode, Shore students are getting into the spirit with songs, stories, poems, and games. You’ll hear voices from both Lower and Upper School students as they share the magic of this fun holiday. We hope this episode helps you revisit a favorite book or consider exploring your next great read or try out a new genre.
