Some conversations become far more meaningful with time.

This interview with Sharon Price was recorded just one day before she passed away. None of us knew that, together, we were capturing what would become her final recorded conversation.

Sharon was far more than a respected educator and pioneer in medical cannabis. To us, she was also a dear friend. Her generosity, wisdom, humour and unwavering commitment to helping others left an unforgettable mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

For more than 17 years, Sharon dedicated her life to supporting patients, educating healthcare professionals and advancing the understanding of the endocannabinoid system. She believed that cannabis was not simply another medicine, but an opportunity to transform healthcare through compassion, science and truly personalised treatment.

In this conversation, Sharon reflects on the experience that changed the course of her life after losing her sister to cancer, the extraordinary potential of the endocannabinoid system, the importance of whole-plant medicine, and why every patient deserves an individual approach rather than a one-size-fits-all prescription.

She also speaks candidly about the challenges she faced while defending patients' rights, her vision for the future of cannabis medicine, and the legacy she hoped to leave behind through education, research and the books she was writing.

Looking back, one moment feels especially poignant. Sharon speaks about wanting to leave behind knowledge that would continue helping people long after she was gone. Today, those words carry a deep meaning.
