Appetite are back at Chinois Ibiza for a four-date Tuesday residency running July 7th through the 28th — that's four Tuesdays in a row from the party crew and label who've been holding it down there three years running. They came through the IMS Dalt Vila collaboration and afterparty takeover earlier this spring, and now they're back for what promises to be another strong summer run. Weekly lineups have been revealed and includes among founders Elliot Schooling & Liam Palmer, Hot Since 82, Groove Armada, Skream, Luuk Van Dijk, & Laidlaw.

Houghton Festival has dropped its 2026 lineup, and among the first-timers this year are CCL, livwutang, and Gabrielle Kwarteng — three names making their Houghton debut this summer. Always worth watching who gets their first invitation to that particular party.

The Rave Preservation Project is growing. The digital archive has now passed 40,000 items — flyers, posters, artwork, the physical record of rave culture — and they've expanded with a new directory and discovery tools to help people actually find their way through it. If you've ever wanted to fall down a rabbit hole of rave history, the tools are apparently getting better.

Bae Bae makes her Planet Mu debut with an EP called *Gauze*, and there's real weight behind it. The record was made in response to the ongoing crisis in Gaza, drawing on her own productions alongside real-world recordings from Palestine. The lead track is called 'Still Believe.'

Gareth Emery has launched a new label called Emotional Intelligence Records, and he's been very deliberate about one thing: no AI. The label launches under his LSR/CITY project with a debut single called 'Burn It Down.' Human-only.

Records of the week come from Fantastic Man on Axis of People, Forest Drive West on Delsin, Marco Passarani on Studiomaster, Moodymann on Defected, and Sepehr on Kapsela. A strong spread across the spectrum this week.

A few more releases to flag: Eikenhead — the Ecuadorian producer and DJ — drops his *Eikenworks 10* EP on July 1st, pulling from the UK electronic tradition, peak-hour house and 90s UK synths. David Morales and Tiger Wilson have linked up on a soulful house cut called 'Cravin',' blending classic NYC grooves with gospel-rooted vocals. Emanuel Satie has a late-night new one on Crosstown Rebels. And Lee Foss teams up with ERASR for 'Party Monster' on Repopulate Mars.

Now, what's on tonight. At Ushuaïa, David Guetta presents F*** Me I'm Famous with Afrojack, Mesto and Paul Reynolds. Universe has John Summit's Experts Only night — Layton Giordani back-to-back with Patrick Topping, plus Tini Gessler and Greg 99. Pacha welcomes Sonny Fodera, Morgan Seatree, Danny Howard and Laeet. Over at Hï, Francis Mercier presents Solèy with Diplo, Ape Drums, Caiiro, Da Capo, Enoo Napa, Uncle Waffles, Andrea Oliva and Jonathan Kaspar — that's a serious room. Amnesia has Kettama presenting Steel City with Nia Archives, Clouds, Carla Martinez and Slab. Las Dalias and Akasha host Peace N' Music with DJ Pippi, Willie Graff. DC10 is Circoloco with Aurora Halal, DJ Koze, DJ Tennis, Fletch, Jnjs, Job Jobse, Joss Dean, and Miguelle & T. Eden has Still X Spades featuring Hector Couto, Dea Tosh, Carrot, Walli, Kaleeba. O Beach runs La Fiesta with Darrel Privett, Hodges, Mainline, Molly D, Sam Lashmar, Jamie Love and Lucy Jane. And Chinois has La Troya with Gok Wan, Oscar Colorado, Mikey Slade and Savio Beaumont.

Amnesia Ibiza is taking its Pyramid brand to Iceland this summer — the Iceland Eclipse Festival has confirmed an Amnesia Ibiza Presents Pyramid takeover of its Aurora Stage on Thursday, August 13th. One of Ibiza's most established underground names touching down under the northern lights.

[STORY BREAK]

Also making moves in the Balearics — AMØK Mallorca has announced what it's calling its most ambitious summer programme yet, with major festival takeovers and a wide roster of standalone shows including Jamie Jones, Paul van Dyk, Shimza and more. The venue continues to build its reputation as one of the most authentic spots in the region.

And Bora Bora is back, bringing some heavyweight friends along for the ride. Details are still emerging but the legendary Ibiza beach club's return is shaping up to be a serious one.

[STORY BREAK]

Tomorrowland has dropped set times for its 2026 edition — both weekends are now mapped out, so you can start planning where you'll be and when across the hundreds of artists on the bill. Head to their site if you haven't already sorted your schedule.

[STORY BREAK]

On the music side, Spekki Webu is the subject of a new in-depth feature — the Dutch multidisciplinary artist speaks to Oli Warwick about the roots of his singular sound, which pulls gabber and free tekno energy into deeper, more exploratory dimensions.

[STORY BREAK]

James Curd is also in the spotlight this week, sitting down with Decoded Magazine to discuss Pixar, GTA, and the long game of house music. Curd is one of those names that carries real weight in the scene — the kind of artist who's been doing it right for a long time without needing to shout about it.

[STORY BREAK]

And for the collectors — a new photobook called Movements of the Visionaries documents Tangerine Dream between 1972 and 1974, 320 pages covering the early years of the legendary Berlin electronic group. A proper coffee table piece for anyone with a serious interest in where this music came from.

[STORY BREAK]

Finally, a premiere worth flagging — Akwua is out on Radiate Records with a new track called Radiate. Late night energy!

[STORY BREAK]

Now, what's on tonight. Universe is hosting David Guetta's Galactic Circus alongside Miss Monique and Hypaton. Ushuaïa has Calvin Harris, MK, and Tyson O'Brien. Haï is stacked — Dom Dolla, Green Velvet, Sally C, Ewan McVicar, and DJ Seinfeld all under one roof. Pacha has Marco Carola's Music On with Loco Dice, Mau P, and Ahmed Spins. Amnesia is running Rememberland with Rebeka Brown on a live PA. Akasha at Las Dalias has Patrice Bäumel going all night long with his HALO show — one to note. Cova Santa hosts Woomoon with Luca Saporito, Maurizio Schmitz, Medusa Odyssey live, and Super Flu. Club Chinois has Major League DJz, Awen, and Piero Farho. Playa Soleil sees Cécille Records take over with Archie Hamilton, D Stone, Nick Curly, Reboot, and Rooleh. And Tomodachi wraps things up with Rakim Under, Jeremy Weeks, and Nuzzo.

Armand Van Helden is heading to Ibiza. The New York house legend is set to headline LoveJuice at O Beach Ibiza on Monday the 29th of June. Poolside, San Antonio, one of the genre's genuine all-timers. That one should be good.

[STORY BREAK]

A strong remix package is incoming for Galcher Lustwerk. The New York artist is releasing Vestibule Remixes on July 3rd through StrataSonic, featuring reworks from Ricardo Villalobos, Skee Mask, Saoirse, and Yaleesa Hall. The original Vestibule EP came out in February — his first since 2024. Lustwerk also has upcoming dates at Manchester's The White Hotel and Wuppertal's Open Ground.

[STORY BREAK]

New York has a new club. Club Rawhide launched in Chelsea over the weekend, founded by Bob Fluet and Rob Hynds. It's a 160-capacity space with a sound system designed by Scott Clungan, and an installation celebrating Chelsea nightlife history from Michael Musto. The Carry Nation and Junior M headlined the opening.

[STORY BREAK]

Two premieres worth your ears today. First, Tamir Regev and DOT (BR) have reworked Negrocan's Latin house classic Cada Vez — a collaboration built across studios in Italy and Brazil, shaping the original into something aimed squarely at today's dancefloors.

And secondly, New York's Wild Dark and Dutch producer Ariaano have teamed up again for a remix of Kokoro's Limits, out on Brooklyn's Beats On Time. Peak time, hypnotic, and built for the late hours — their words, and from what we've heard, they're not wrong.

[STORY BREAK]

Now let's go out, what's on tonight in Ibiza? At UNiVeRS, Anyma presents ÆDEN with Mind Against, Stephan Bodzin live, and Pacs. Ushuaïa has Ozuna live. Hï Ibiza is hosting East End Dubs presents Eastenderz, with a B2B with Sosa, Marsolo, DXNBY, Paco Osuna, and DJ Oliver. Pacha brings Vintage Culture, WhoMadeWho in hybrid mode, Kimonos, and Kevin Brauer. Amnesia has Do Not Sleep with Sidney Charles Back to back with Bullet Tooth, Julian Fijma with Riordan, Robbie Doherty, jWave, and Lewis Taylor. Out at Akasha in Las Dalias, it's Borealis times Checkpoint times Les Enfants — free entry in the garden until 11pm, then Tania Vulcano, Carlos Vila, Sampol, Tolo, Nuzzo, Pol K, Raf and Rod from midnight. And at 528 Ibiza, Pikes Presents delivers what might be the pairing of the night — Gerd Janson back to back with Marcel Dettmann — alongside Horse Meat Disco and Peach.

If you're on the island and looking for a reason to be near the water, that's your answer. Taking place on Sunday 21 June, Portside is headlined by Luciano and Bedouin themselves for the second year in a row.

[STORY BREAK]

Keep On Dancing made a statement with the launch of El Baile Pop at Teatro Pereyra on Saturday. The nomadic Ibiza collective chose Moodymann to headline opening night — Kenny Dixon Jr., the Detroit enigma, stepping out to kick off the new party's first season. Hard to think of a more fitting way to announce yourself.

[STORY BREAK]

Sonny Fodera has released a new album. The Australian producer has been on a serious run of late, and with his Pacha residency in full swing this season, the timing couldn't be sharper.

[STORY BREAK]

Miss Monique has announced a new audiovisual live show called Biorhythm. The melodic techno artist steps into live territory with what sounds like a full sensory experience — more details as they emerge.

[STORY BREAK]

And on the mix front, Applescal is the latest guest on Select Cuts with episode 381. The Dutch producer and Atomnation founder — fifteen years deep and still operating at his own level — joins to celebrate a new two-tracker on Budakid's Flores imprint. Pascal Terstappen stepping back into the spotlight, and the mix is exactly the kind of musicality you'd expect from him.

[STORY BREAK]

What's on tonight. At UNiVeRS, John Summit presents Experts Only with Chris Avantgarde back to back with Innellea, plus Maesic. Out at Ushuaïa from five this afternoon, David Guetta brings F Me I'm Famous with Rivo, Monki and Paul Reynolds. Pacha tonight is all about Sonny Fodera alongside Danny Howard and KILIMANJARO — fresh album, live island moment. Over at Amnesia, Kettama presents Steel City going back to back with Cloonee, joined by Loods and Angel Lee. Club Chinois hosts La Troya with Jaden Bojsen, Smokin Jo, Oscar Colorado and Felix Da Funk. And DC10 is Circoloco — a serious lineup featuring Ageless, Âme DJ, Bradley Zero, Carlita, Map.ache, Sossa and Sven Väth.

Big news for the island this weekend — UNIVERS kicks things off tonight with Peggy Goo's Midnight Lobster Club, bringing Chris Stussy and Salomé Le Chat along for the ride . Tomorrow night it's elrow's Delusionville with a stacked lineup — Chelina Manuhutu, Discip, Ilario Alicante, Nic Fanciulli and Tini Gessler. And Sunday, the mega club closes the weekend with ANOTER headlining, with Marco Carola as a special guest alongside Bontan, Bella and Fetch — and given everything going on with that duo right now, that's a party worth paying attention to.

Speaking of ANOTER — the Amsterdam pair have just dropped their third album, 'Withness', out on No Art. It arrives on the back of 'Talk To You' featuring 54 Ultra, which has been the biggest global breakout dance single of 2026. Third album, biggest moment of their career — the timing doesn't get much better than that.

[STORY BREAK]

Fred again.. has a new one out. He's teamed up with Travy and Elzzz for a single called 'DID IT AGAIN'. The collaboration grew out of a spontaneous Twitch livestream involving all three artists — which is very Fred again energy, to be fair.

[STORY BREAK]

What's on this weekend besides UNIVERSE. Tonight we have Calvin Harris, MK, Tyson O'Brien at Ushuaïa, Dom Dolla, Salute, Atrip, Tyson O'Brien, Ewan McVicar at Hï, Marco Carola, Black Coffee, Calvin Clark at Pacha, GOJNEA76 & Idriss D at Tomodachi.

[STORY BREAK]

Tomorrow sees ANTS with CamelPhat, Archie Hamilton, Job de Jong, Marlie, Kidoo, Raul Rodriguez at Ushuaïa. Black Coffee, Skepta, Syreeta, Steven Cee, Lissy Lübeck at Hï. Flower Power Opening Party AT Pacha, with Roger Sanchez, Luciano, and Sam Oui. BRESH Ibiza with Lucho RK, La Pantera, Juseph at Amnesia, and Masquerade with Claptone, David Penn, Ferreck Dawn, Wh0, and Guy Williams at Club Chinois.

[STORY BREAK]

Finally, on Sunday, MESTIZA & ARTCORE features Laolu, Les Castizos, Indira Paganotto, Chris Liebing, and Onyvaa at Hï. Solomun invites Chloé Caillet at Pacha. And Amnesia opens Pyramid with Ricardo Villalobos, Raresh, Enzo Siragusa, Traumer, Mar-T, Fatima Hajji, Deborah De Luca, and Luca Donzelli.

For a producer and DJ whose work has shaped dancefloors across decades, this is a significant moment, and the house music world has been waiting a long time for it.

[STORY BREAK]

Simina Grigoriu lands on Drumcode LTD with a new track called *Coconut Milk*. The Romanian-Canadian artist brings her trademark energy to Adam Beyer's imprint — always a statement placement.

[STORY BREAK]

Charles.A.D. presents *Luminous* on Avantroots — an eleven-track deep dive into dub techno. By the sounds of it, this is a fully immersive listen, the kind of record that rewards patience and a decent sound system.

[STORY BREAK]

BMG continues its catalogue expansion, adding publishing rights for Snap!'s Luca Anzilotti to a roster that already includes Depeche Mode, Moby, Kraftwerk, Plastikman, Armand Van Helden, and Masters at Work. The major players keep consolidating.

KR!Z takes over Azimut's booth for a daytime set running from 4am to 10am. Six hours of music for the subset of people who consider sunrise a warm-up. You know who you are.

Pacha brings Shimza & Co. with Henrik Schwarz playing live, joined by Arodes. Chinois hosts Defected with Armand Van Helden, Darius Syrossian, and Melé. One Ibiza stories to kick things off. The Ibiza Global Festival 2026 full line-up has been revealed with among others : Deep Dish, R3hab, and Patrick Topping.

Carl Cox has confirmed a DJ set at Croatia's Cave Romane, the ancient 2,000-year-old quarry venue that's become one of the most dramatic settings in European clubbing. Amelie Lens is set to headline the same venue earlier in the summer. Meanwhile, the Carl Cox Invites series is extending its reach into the autumn, with Milano lined up for a massive summer closing as the season winds down after its September peak.

Thomas Bangalter dropped a surprise set at Brooklyn's Lot Radio — one hour fifteen minutes, weaving in cuts from his Mirage project alongside Burial and Aphex Twin, and closing the whole thing out with Daft Punk's Contact. No announcement, no build-up. Just Bangalter doing Bangalter things.

Prospa have released their debut album Free Your Mind on CircoLoco Records — making it the label's first ever full-length release. That's a significant moment for a label that's been one of the more consistent forces in underground house and techno.

No Bounds Festival has revealed its line-up for the 2026 edition — the ninth — taking place October 9th to 11th across ten venues between Sheffield and Rotherham, Healiners includes Max Cooper, Blawan, Mala and Oppidan.

Madonna has released Confessions II — The Film, a 14-minute short threading together six tracks from her upcoming album. The cast includes Honey Dijon, Cole Palmer, Arca, and a range of actors, musicians, models and artists. Worth a watch.

On the remix front, Rocco Rodamaal has turned Fiona Kraft's Dreams into something built for the late hours — out now on her label NON MERCI MUSIC.

And finally, the phone ban debate is back. A Grammy-winning musician — returning from a three-year break — has announced a fully phone-free arena tour. The question being asked: genuine attempt at connection with fans, or an infringement of their rights? We'll let you decide.

Over in Manchester, a new event series called Escapism is launching this October, debuting at Victoria Baths on the 10th. It's being described as a grown-up, immersive daytime experience, and it opens with Deep Dish. Victoria Baths is a genuinely stunning space, so that one has real potential.

On new music — Kapuchon, also known as Afrojack, has dropped another excellent track on Hot Creations. It's called Secret Moves. Worth your time.

Refraction Records has a new EP incoming from Havsmörker called Ilväder. The lead track premiering now is Nordanväderslyckan — a name taken from an old Scandinavian word — and the record is described as steeped in the atmosphere of the Nordic coastline.

Minneapolis marked ten years since Prince's passing last week, with thousands of fans travelling from around the world for the 10th Anniversary Prince Celebration at Paisley Park, running June 3rd through 7th. Five days of tribute to one of music's most singular figures.

And finally, The Dancefloor Archive has been doing the quiet work of documenting club culture at a time when a night out is more likely to be remembered through fifteen-second clips than anything lasting. An interesting read if you care about how this scene gets remembered.

Their words: "The UK should not find itself behind the curve on an issue it helped define."

Finally, a couple of features worth your time: Decoded Magazine has an exclusive mix and interview with New York underground veteran John Creamer, and this week's Five on Friday hands over to Deal-based producer and DJ Faebop.

Although hand curated, this episode is AI-powered. From Ibiza, I'm your host Ben D-M-Z and this is Pocomucho Daily.

Let's start with some Ibiza energy crossing the Atlantic — Pacha is coming to Brooklyn. Pacha New York is officially opening in Brooklyn later this month, and the iconic brand is billing it as a new era of nightlife. No further details yet on the full programme, but if Pacha's Ibiza DNA makes the journey intact, it'll be one to watch closely.

Staying with festival news — Tomorrowland has topped a new SeatPick ranking of the most anticipated festivals worldwide, beating out Coachella and Lollapalooza based on Google search volume. Make of that what you will, but the numbers don't lie.

CRSSD Festival has dropped its fall 2026 lineup, returning to Waterfront Park in San Diego on September 26th and 27th. The bill includes Carlita, Chris Lake, Ben UFO, horsegiirl, Helena Hauff, Kettama, Mochakk, Prospa, and Sonny Federa among others. Solid lineup for one of North America's more credible electronic music events.

Sónar 2026 is shaping up to be a genuinely significant edition. The avant-garde Barcelona festival is returning completely reimagined — every stage redesigned, the whole event under one roof. One venue, six redesigned stages.

Now some sad news from San Francisco. Ira Sandler, founder of legendary venue 1015 Folsom and a true veteran of the city's nightlife scene, has passed away at the age of 73. A genuinely important figure in the history of American club culture.

OLING's Get On The Floor EP has landed on Sasha's Last Night On Earth label, marking the Scandinavian producer's debut on the imprint. It's a stripped, rhythm-led release, and by all accounts a natural fit. OLING has been building his sound since his first Aves EP on Jeremy Olander's Vivrant imprint back in 2021.

Traumprinz is back on vinyl. The enigmatic Hannover-based producer is finally pressing his Life project to wax — his first physical release since Diva in 2016. Nearly a decade. Worth the wait if you're a fan of the enigmatic end of the underground.

A remarkable piece of rave history is heading to auction. Rob Ford's 35-year Members Only archive of UK rave membership cards goes under the hammer at Bonhams between June 15th and 25th, with an estimate of 60 to 80 thousand pounds. Thirty-five years of physical rave culture, in one collection.

The Ministry of Sound is getting the book treatment. Ministry of Sound: Anthology is a new 416-page hardcover documenting the London club's formative years — the first time its story has been told in this format. That's a lot of history to fit between two covers.

And because this industry never stops surprising — Hermès has built a DJ booth. A working, purchasable DJ booth, wrapped in leather. The White Isle institution has just dropped the full 2026 Pyramid line-up, and it's a serious one — Amelie Lens and Jeff Mills among the names confirmed. Fifty years of Amnesia is no small thing. That room has shaped what club culture looks like globally, and pulling together a bill like this for the anniversary feels right. Watch that one closely as the season builds.

Now over to Germany, where there's some genuinely significant news for the wider club world. The German government is moving to recognise nightclubs as cultural venues under new planning reforms. The legislation is designed to better protect clubs from predatory real estate developers, rising rents, and evictions — the same pressures that have been quietly strangling club culture in cities across Europe for years. Germany has long been the standard-bearer here — Berlin obviously, but beyond that too — and if this legislation lands properly, it could set a precedent other countries should be paying close attention to. Huge deal, quietly underreported.

Sticking with festivals, Sónar 2026 is shaping up to be something special — and quite different. The Barcelona avant-garde institution has gone back to the drawing board entirely, with every stage redesigned and the whole festival brought under one roof. One venue, six redesigned stages, rebuilt from scratch. That's a bold move for a festival with thirty-plus years of identity baked in. Whether that pays off or creates a new kind of magic, we'll find out soon enough.

EXIT Festival is also making moves on a genuinely epic scale — the three-time European Best Major Festival winner is launching Starlight Festival this October, a brand-new multi-day concept at the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt. Dance music at the pyramids. That sentence doesn't need any more context, does it.

Also worth a mention: CRSSD Festival has unveiled its Fall 2026 line-up for San Diego's Waterfront Park — Skepta Más Tiempo, Ben UFO, VTSS and Marlon Hoffstadt among the names. Solid, forward-thinking bill as you'd expect from CRSSD.

And finally — Traumprinz is back on wax. The enigmatic Hannover producer, nearly a decade since his last physical release, is pressing Life to vinyl. If you know the name, you already know why this matters. If you don't — go find out.

That's your Pocomucho Daily for 3rd June 2026.
