Gregory was born in Denmark, SC; but raised as a military brat. He studied Computer Science at his beloved HBCU, Voorhees College, which is now Voorhees University, and obtained his master’s degree in Computer Resource and Information Management from Webster University. 

While working in the field of Information Technology mostly as a Cybersecurity professional, he manages to find time to write poetry and serve in his community. Although he enjoys his career, nothing gives him more delight than seeing the smile of someone reading or hearing him recite his original poetry. He writes under the pen name, “CharismatiQue The Poet”.

Recently, Gregory has found a new purpose in being a Big Brother to young males in his community. He saw it as a chance not to just give back, but as a way to provide hope and give opportunities to youth that may not have had a chance and deserves one.

Since graduating college he has been employed with the Sawtooth School for Visual Arts in Winston-Salem North Carolina, as well as the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County and Charlotte-Mecklenburg County School Districts.

Travis has drawn and doodled since a young age but it wasn't until he was studying at Winston-Salem State University that he began to take his art seriously. It was there that he discovered a love for painting in Oils and Acrylics. It was also there that the idea for the SivART Gallery was born. Over time Travis has added Logo Creation, Paint Parties and Author to his resume. His 1st children's book titled 'The Color Wheel Kids" was published in October of 2017 and can be purchased online at several major retailers. Sheldon’s first job as a juvenile detention officer at a Harris County youth lock up facility is what fueled his interest in helping children. Hearing their stories of despair, defeat, and discouragement, TheraGood found himself offering them sound advice, reinforced with positive messages of hope, faith, and love which can be found in his book . A few years later, he joined the Houston Police Department, working with the special operations division. In 2014, he landed a spot on the department’s homeless outreach team, a special initiative focused on connecting the community, law enforcement and the city’s homeless population. Theragood uses his platform as an officer to give back to the community through TheraGood Deeds. Some of the outreach efforts include a back to school supply drive, feeding the homeless and providing toiletry bags at Thanksgiving, hosting a Christmas toy drive and party for kids, plus so much more. 


The inspiring book, “Whatever It Takes, Walking Through God’s Purpose,” was published last year in 2021. After realizing that it was not in God’s plan for him to play in the NBA or even college basketball, Sheldon shares how he went from a high school basketball player with NBA dreams to a police officer, youth mentor and advocate. He shares his journey of how it took going through life’s challenges to realize that there was much more to life than playing sports. He encourages young people to set goals in their lives, to have a plan, and to diligently seek what it is that God has planned for them. Sheldon’s story of how he walked in God’s purpose and did whatever it took for him to fulfill his goals will inspire everyone to - Never give up! Keep pushing forward! “Black men are the easiest targets in the world. I wanted to ‘shoot’ us a different way,” Damon Mosley said. The Ohio writer/photographer’s new photo book Smile For We is dedicated to changing the way the world sees and treats Black men.

Mosley said he got the idea for the project as a response to the police brutality problems witnessed around the country. “Countless images of police violence against Black men are on a loop on our screens and in our heads. It breaks us down mentally, so I wanted to do something about it.”

However, police shootings are just one side of the equation, Mosley explained.

“Every time you turn on the TV, you see Black men getting killed, ridiculed, or stereotyped at the first opportunity. In general, the media constantly portrays us as threats, not human beings. My goal is to keep positive Black men visible and relevant.”

Instead of famous athletes and entertainers, Smile For We features everyday people. Hard-working, 9 to 5 guys who live in the same towns and attend the same schools and churches as you.

“We don’t all play sports, rap or sell drugs,” Mosley noted. “Black men are just like everybody else. Nuanced. Complex.” He continued, “Don’t wait until we’re on a mural or a t-shirt. Give us our flowers today.”

Despite the book’s good intentions, Mosley ran into an unexpected hurdle when many of his subjects were reluctant to smile.

“I was like, ‘Guys, it’s in the title!’” he laughed.

“We’ve been conditioned to act so hard that we’re immune to being happy. In the end, it was very rewarding and satisfying to see Black men exist with their full range of feelings.”

Along with being an opportunity to serve his community, his hope for Smile For We is that the sentiment expands into other areas like music, films, and TV.

“We need more positive Black male representation in media. Smile For We is about separating ourselves from the stigma. Reshaping our public image, our brand.”

Tony Reid, was a corrections officer at Rikers Island, a jail in New York City, working with incarcerated adolescents 16 to 18 years old. For 8 long years, he witnessed first-hand the plight of young men of color who became the casualties of an environment of poverty, crime, and violence. Many bright young men became ensnared in a life cycle of neglect, drugs, and crime; spending their time either on the street or behind bars. Either place could lead to dangerously grave consequences. 

He began to imagine a way out for these young people and decided he wanted to do something to break the chain.

It was in August of the same year that the FAA created the first-ever Remote Pilot Certification* for civilian Unmanned Aerial Systems (UASs). Sgt. Reid received his certification in September of 2016 and his drone career took off.

Sgt. Reid founded DroneTECH UAS and the concept of Drone Cadets was born. He began doing workshops, demonstrations, and hands-on drone flight training for kids. It wasn't long before he was invited into local schools and began helping incorporate drones into their STEM curriculums. 

Whenever kids asked about becoming a drone pilot, he talked to kids about the narrow road that they must follow to stay in school, learn and reach success in life.

In 2017 Sgt. Reid partnered with DroneBlocks to expand his curriculum to include coding. He also began his worldwide mission, bringing drones to hurricane disaster-ridden countries like the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, and Curacao. While there he worked to help provide relief, conduct infrastructure inspections, and he brought a needed distraction to children devastated by loss. He taught them to fly!
