And in that time, I had the opportunity to interview some amazing musicians, film makers, authors and more.


So instead of letting those interviews die in the dustbin of audio history, I’ve decided to dig them up, dust them off and breathe new life into them here, on The World Music Show — Interviews from the archives  — with Ian Stewart.


These interviews are for the true music nerds who want to find out more about the artists they love and it’s for music nerds who want to explore artists  they’ve never heard of.

The Japanese based band has been playing for over four decades and besides solo shows, has opened up for Nirvana, the Ramones and more. 

When this interview first aired back in February of 2023, the band just released their record called Our Best Place—and they haven’t released anything since. They're still touring, with shows mostly in Japan. In this interview we talk about the history punk music, her influences and why she writes about yummy food so much.
