Giana printed more than 300 photos from her marriage and turned them into a massive memory wall. What started as a way to process grief quickly turned into anger, leading to one of the most unforgettable moments of her post-divorce life: an at-home recreation of a sexy photo that ends with a bathroom sink, a head injury, uncontrollable laughter and Giana on the floor.

It sounds completely unhinged. It also helped.

The second night brought a completely different experience. Giana found herself back in childhood, remembering her dad playing guitar, singing with her sister, and the simple joy she had before life became complicated.

Her biggest takeaway? In order to move forward, she had to go back.
