EPISODE 9 — The Return to Substance

A substance is a being that stands alone — subsistens. This episode restores substance as the fundamental unit of reality. We examine why organisms are not machines, why persons are not neural networks, and why the cosmos itself exhibits unity.

Substance is the antidote to fragmentation. It is the metaphysical ground of the real.

EPISODE 10 — Reditus: The Architecture of Reality

The final episode completes the ascent. Reditus is the return of the mind to the Light — the restoration of the contemplative intellect. We trace the full arc from scientism to substance, from shadows to participation, from exitus to reditus.

EPISODE 7 — The Transcorporeal Dyad

Modernity sees only two realms: the physical and the mental. But this binary is too thin. This episode introduces the Transcorporeal Dyad — a Findings of Science innovation emerging from John Taylor’s Essays 1 & 2. The Dyad is the missing middle: the formal dimension where unity, intelligibility, and participation become possible.

The oldest light in the universe contains a secret. WMAP and Planck revealed large‑scale anisotropies — alignments and patterns that defy the Copernican assumption of randomness. This episode explores the so‑called “Axis of Evil” and its implications for cosmology, metaphysics, and the architecture of the cosmos.

Unity at the smallest scale meets unity at the largest. The cosmos is not chaos. It is form.

An acorn becomes an oak because its form is oak. In this episode, we restore the classical triad of form, nature, and telos — the architecture of intelligibility. We examine why organisms are not machines, why development follows patterns, and why human beings seek truth, goodness, and beauty.

EPISODE 3 — The Physics of Shadows

Physics is magnificent, but it studies the Quantitative Projection Domain — the shadow, not the statue. In this episode, we examine the category error at the heart of modern science: confusing mathematical models with metaphysical reality. Entanglement is not a quantum oddity — it is a metaphysical revelation. This episode explores the 2022 Nobel Prize, the collapse of local realism, and the astonishing unity revealed at the smallest scales. We introduce Irreducible Wholeness, the principle that the whole precedes the parts, and show why the mechanistic worldview cannot survive the evidence.

In this episode, we explore how the quantitative world is only the shadow of a deeper ontology. Measurement reveals behaviour, not being. 

The shadows point beyond themselves, and the task of metaphysical literacy is to recover the light that casts them.
