The Authentically Detroit Podcast Network Presents... Amplify Outside!

The Amplify Outside Podcast is greening Detroit’s Narrative.

In a city where we are so often dispelling outside perspectives, Amplify Outside presents an undertold story of Black environmentalism from recreation to liberation; Detroit’s not new to this, it’s true to this. Sitting at the unique axis of Blackness and Climate Resilience, Detroit’s environmental story presents a case study like no other. From the automobile to motown, we know what it means to set a foundation, so let’s paint ‘The Great American City’ green through connecting, uplifting, reimagining peoples and places environmental realities nationwide.

Amplify Outside hosts conversations with primarily Black Organizers, Artists, Cultural workers, etc. doing green work either in the city of Detroit, or connected to work being done in Detroit. Through storytelling and conversation, Amplify Outside seeks to establish a nuanced environmental perspective of Detroit, and by extension, Black Americans by connecting stories & initiatives from the local to the global.
