Ivan Muwanga is allegedly a traditional healer from Kamengo sub-county in Mpigi District, Uganda, who has been accused of involvement in ritual killings. Local reports claim that police discovered human remains, including skulls and body parts, at his shrine, along with ritual materials said to be used in sacrifices.  

He is allegedly linked to the death of a 12‑year‑old girl whose body was found mutilated in Kalungi Swamp in December 2025. Community members have expressed fear, alleging that more than ten children had gone missing in the area prior to his arrest. According to police statements, Muwanga was taken into custody and is currently a suspect under investigation. At this stage, no conviction has been confirmed, and all allegations remain subject to legal proceedings.
