The climate crisis demands collective preparedness, evidence-based research, creative innovation, and a good podcast to listen to while hunkering down in your bunker. Surviving the Climate is a podcast hosted by professor Robbie Parks and emergency manager Nate Matthews-Trigg. These longtime friends will discuss climate and disaster-related news, pop culture, the latest research, all with a focus on practical insights for regular people just trying to make do with what they have.

Each episode will (hopefully) not be too serious and feature guests that can talk about their experience and expertise. Robbie and Nate will reference content from r/heat_prep and other forums they moderate or participate in.

Surviving the Climate is produced by Marcelo Jauregui-Volpe. Blanche Ellis created the podcast artwork, and Robbie Parks produced the theme music.
