Reminder of the brutal hp rules used: each new level, all HD are re-rolled. CON affects the result only once, not once per level.

Spell gains

Ingle gains his first level 2 spell, and will default to Purify F&W, Protn from Evil, and Bless

Umbert studies for a second level 2 spell and rolls a 4, easily succeeding. He gains Invisibility. His spells are now Charm Person, Ventriloquism, Knock, and Invisibility

It's time to take a look at our final member, Xantu the Dwarf!

As rolled hp 3, attributes (SIWDCC) 15,10,13,08,09,11

Xantu has some easy-to-play foibles, since he is both militant and superstitious. I find his voice trickier than it should be because I don't give myself time to tune into the particular blend of "deep" and "harsh" that's in my head. Sometimes, only sometimes, his voice sounds deep enough. 

Xantu is the only "what do you mean, missile" party member. It's shield and warhammer all the way! When I imagined his start gear I forgot that magic weapons that are not swords are really uncommon in OSE, but hopefully, one day, he'll find a magic version of his favorite weapon.

*As some may know from listening closely in Ep01, Kylie is the only character whose attributes are not 3d6 down the line. I realized I needed good STR if she is to be a sword-and-bow, armored elf, so I swapped CHA and STR around. As a result of her CHA, Kylie comes across as being 'on the spectrum', which I enjoy for being so different from all the others. Kylie's voice is pretty easy, it's just gentle and in my highest range.

A notably low-strength cleric means very light gear! Because he will struggle with every physical task, Ingle won't be seen as "party leader" until and if ever he reaches mid-levels. You can't respect someone (in the adventuring sense) you have to lift over each fallen tree! I see Ingle as the voice of reason. His drive is Spiritual and he lacks confidence for now, but has curiosity. Ingle's voice is my natural voice.

As rolled up: 7hp  attributes (SIWDCC)  15,11,07,11,12,10 

Eryn is the most analogous to a "good" character of all the crew - obviously everyone is Lawful, there is no Good vs Evil axis. She is an Advocate type personality, and a little bashful and naive. I can imagine her growing up too big and awkward then realizing her path lies in the more male-dominated Fighter career. Eryn's voice begins too similar to Kylie's voice, I will need to work on it.
