After all, when we’re “playing the field” it’s easy to keep things light and carefree. Real commitment requires vulnerability and responsibility, but without it, we miss out on the deeper, richer experiences that genuine connection offers. By choosing not to commit, we risk never experiencing the profound depth of connection we were designed for.</p><p>Many of us approach our relationship with God in much the same way—keeping Him at a distance, not fully committing to a walk of faith, or only giving part of ourselves. This hesitation to engage with God wholeheartedly not only stunts our spiritual growth, but it can also sabotage the very influence He wants to have in our lives. After all, when we’re “playing the field” it’s easy to keep things light and carefree. Real commitment requires vulnerability and responsibility, but without it, we miss out on the deeper, richer experiences that genuine connection offers. Relationships demand investment, trust, and the courage to fully engage. By choosing not to commit, we risk never experiencing the profound depth of connection we were designed for.</p><p>Many of us approach our relationship with God in much the same way—keeping Him at a distance, not fully committing to a walk of faith, or only giving part of ourselves. This hesitation to engage with God wholeheartedly not only stunts our spiritual growth, but it can also sabotage the very influence He wants to have in our lives.
