World Cancer Day is a day to reflect, give gratitude and remain hopeful. Cancer is hard, cancer sucks…but cancer can bring moments of love, healing, and grace. If you are fighting cancer or recovering from it, today give yourself grace, give yourself credit and love for your fight and how far you have come in your journey. 

And a challenge for everyone.. reach out to someone you know who is battling cancer or who has battled cancer and share a message of kindness and love

In Kimel’s 30 seasons at the helm of Duke women’s lacrosse, she has guided the Blue Devils to seven national semifinals, four ACC regular season titles, an ACC Tournament Championship and 23 NCAA Tournament appearances. She is one of just eight active Division I women's lacrosse coaches to surpass the 350-win mark and one of 13 to reach at least 300 career victories. Dr Klempner has dedicated his career to stomach and esophagus cancer research and is making a lasting impact. He has made a huge impact on my treatment and journey!
