The church of the living God reflects the true light to a world that needs to know there is truth, there is a purpose, there is a God who wants a relationship with each and everyone of us. The sole purpose of the church is to serve as a bearer of the guiding light to the one and only God - Jesus.

True wisemen still seek Him. And when they find Him, they will rejoice with exceeding great joy!

Isn't the water that flows out of the glaciers of Colorado more appealing than the sludge that flows by New Orleans? And so it is with what men have done to Christianity compared to the experience of New Birth found in the first century church. Let's get back to the source!

For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.  

II Corinthians 1:20

There's a Biblical way to know if the message preached is true. Look at the evidence - the fruits.

Some think God can only use people who are already good. But the life of Paul illustrates that God can use the worst sinners.

There are so many lessons to learn from the life of the man the Bible describes as after the heart of God. 

Galatians 1:6-9
6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-8

1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

Acts 20:28-30
28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. 29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

There is a spiritual conspiracy to distract and deceive humanity away from the one and only way of salvation. And that path of deception has the appearance of Christianity without the fruits that appear with obedience to the one and only Gospel.

The Gospels are filled with miraculous, life-changing interactions between the seekers and Jesus Christ. But take note, those who received and experienced God's touch weren't the casual bystanders. We can take note that your faith is demonstrated by your willingness to step out of the crowd and draw the attention of the Saviour.

The Conspiracy of Conspiracies isn't the Epstein files, the murder of JFK, but the conspiracy of all that is evil waging spiritual war against the church of the living God. And their ultimate goal is that by the use of false brethren that crept in aware to deviate the church off its original course.

Let's get back to basics! And the fastest, most appropriate way is to go to the source of Christianity - The Early Church.

Sometimes a person can have a relationship with Jesus up to a point, and since it never fulfills, that present experience becomes a block towards future development of relationship with God.

The gospels reveal that only those who had enough faith to move away from the crowd and seek him with their whole heart - actually received supernatural answers to their problems.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.  Hebrews 11:6

It's time to grab some bolt cutters and let's remove all the scaffolding that hides the Rock!

Hear my cry, O God;
attend unto my prayer.

From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed:
lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

For thou hast been a shelter for me,
and a strong tower from the enemy.

I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever:

See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: 

Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. 

And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 

For our God is a consuming fire.  Hebrews 12:25-29

As our nation reels after the recent assassination of a political figure, it's appropriate to re-evaluate the relationship between politics and Christianity.

Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 

And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. 

Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 

No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.  II Timothy 2:1-4

And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.  Luke 24:49

Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.  Matthew 15:7-9

Buy the truth, and sell it not;
also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.  Proverb 23:23

For there is hope of a tree,
if it be cut down, that it will sprout again,
and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.

Though the root thereof wax old in the earth,
and the stock thereof die in the ground;

 Yet through the scent of water it will bud,
and bring forth boughs like a plant.  Job 14:7-9

Jesus said,  

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.  John 10:10

The enemy of your soul paints a life in pursuit of God as boring and drab - actually, it's a life for nothing more than the temporal that isn't worth living!

Let Jesus become the author and finisher of your life's story - he'll do so much better than you could ever dream!

David is described in the Bible as a man after God's heart. So, David and his attitude and journey should serve as a role model to those who are looking to draw the attention of Almighty God.

And David repeatedly wrote, "Teach me."

Even though David was an absolute monarch of Israel, he had a teachable spirit. 

So much of what we know about Almighty God originates from the testimonies of those whose lives were dramatically impacted by divine encounters. 

You have a choice to live your life as a chicken or an eagle. Embrace the challenge to step out of the barnyard of meaningless existence and allow your Savior to lead you up the mountainside until the winds of faith lift you up and away into life worth living!

Men complicate the use of the Word as a roadmap to a relationship with God by adding pre-conceived ideas. 

Jesus said to search the scriptures - nothing else. 

You'll be surprised what you find when you approach the Word - and the Word alone!
