Some days it feels easy to keep moving, and other days it feels hard to even show up. But one thing I’m learning is that even in the middle of grief, the Lord is still present. He meets us in our weakness, comforts us in our pain, and gives us strength when we feel like we have none left.

My friend Alexa came to support me while I recorded this episode, and I’m so grateful for her because if I’m being honest, I truly did not want to record today. Sometimes having people around you who encourage you and remind you to keep going is such a gift. Their presence can be one of the ways God shows His love and faithfulness in difficult seasons.

On today’s episode, we’re talking about Matthew 28:19 and the Great Commission. Even in seasons where life feels heavy, God still calls us to go, make disciples, and share His truth with the world. We’ll dive into what it means to carry out this calling, how obedience looks in everyday life, and why the mission of Jesus still matters so deeply today. If you’ve been feeling weary, discouraged, or unsure of your purpose, I pray this episode reminds you that God can still use you even in the middle of hard seasons.

Support the show

In today’s episode, we’re diving into one of the most intimate and powerful moments in Scripture Exodus 33, where Moses boldly tells the Lord, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.” Moses wasn’t satisfied with the promise. He wasn’t satisfied with the land. He wasn’t even satisfied with blessing. He wanted God Himself. We talk about what it truly means to desire the nearness of the Lord not just the blessing , but Himself. Not just what He can do for us, but who He is. Moses didn’t just ask for direction; he asked, “Teach me Your ways, that I may know You.” That kind of hunger is rare — and it challenges the way we pray today. I also touch on Ephesians 3, where Paul prays that we would be strengthened in our inner being, that Christ would dwell in our hearts through faith, and that we would know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge. This episode is about going deeper beyond surface-level Christianity into real intimacy with God.

Are we truly longing for His presence?
Do we want to know His ways?
This conversation is about shifting from performance to presence, from striving to surrender, and from seeking blessings to seeking Him.

If this episode blesses you, share it with someone who desires to go deeper in their walk with Christ. And as always, thank you for being part of this community. Let’s surrender fully and draw near to the One who first drew near to us. 🤍

Support the show

Because justice without Jesus isn’t justice it’s self-righteousness dressed up as truth.

Support the show

The one who obeyed. The one who worked. And yet, the one whose heart was still far from the Father and didn’t understand the father’s heart. So often when we hear this story, our focus is on the son who ran away the one who wasted everything and came crawling back. But Jesus didn’t stop there. He told this story to the Pharisees and the scribes the religious, the faithful, the ones who thought they were already right with God. The older son represents the heart that does everything right on the outside but quietly resents the Father on the inside. In this episode, we’re going to talk about the danger of self-righteousness that subtle pride that convinces us we’ve earned something from God. The spirit that says, “I’ve been faithful, I’ve been obedient, I’ve done everything right… so why do they get grace?” It’s the same heart Jesus confronted in Luke 18:9–14, when the Pharisee stood praying to himself, thanking God that he wasn’t like other people. It’s the same pride He exposed in Matthew 21:31–32, where religious men rejected repentance while sinners ran toward it. Jesus told these stories not to shame the rebellious, but to humble the religious. Because in God’s eyes, both sons were lost one outside the house, and one inside it. And sometimes, the ones who look the most faithful are the ones who understand grace the least. We’ll unpack what it means to serve God without surrender, to obey without intimacy, and to work for the Father while missing His heart completely.

Support the show

As I look around especially on social mediaI see so much division and hostility. Many people in todays culture are being led by their fellings and validate things that truly do not honor the Lord, validate lies, and sin. We live in a culture that is quick to take sides and quick to cancel. The message often sounds like: “If you don’t agree with me, you’re wrong.” Or, “If our views aren’t the same, I’ll unfollow you.”Even among people who call themselves Christians, the posts and opinions I see being shared often contradict the very Word of God. And that’s dangerous, because when our opinions become louder than Scripture, we’re no longer being led by truth we’re being led by culture and flesh. I truly believe that it is possible to love the things of the world more than we love God. And those “things” can look like money, success, fame, sexuality, abortion, marriage, politics.. You name it. Anything can take the place of God if we let it. But here’s the hope: when we truly seek the Lord first and keep Him at the very center of our lives, it changes everything. It changes the way we speak, the way we respond, and the way we treat people, even when we disagree. Our lives begin to reflect Christ, not the culture around us and the things happening around us.

Support the show

As believers, we’re called to be people of prayer not for the approval of others, but to glorify and exalt God. Prayer isn’t just something we do; it’s something we become. It’s our way of connecting with the Father, of communicating with Him, and of allowing Him to purify and transform us. Prayer humbles us, shifts our hearts, and keeps us aligned with His will. In the Christian life, prayer is not optional it’s a command. Jesus Himself said, “Whenever you pray, pray like this…” Prayer is an invitation to sit in God’s presence, to wait on Him, communicate with him, and to listen for His voice.

Support the show

Jesus tells us not to be anxious about what we will eat, drink, or wear, because our Father in heaven already knows what we need. Instead, He calls us to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, with the promise that “all these things will be added to you.” So often, we find ourselves running after passions, material things, and temporary comforts thinking they will fill us while forgetting the God who provides everything we truly need. I share how anxiety about lack can weigh us down, distract us from our calling, and pull our focus away from Christ. But when we learn to shift our perspective, letting go of worry and setting our eyes on God’s Kingdom, we begin to experience His peace and provision in powerful ways. This conversation is an invitation to stop chasing after the little things and start living in alignment with the eternal. It’s a call to re-center our hearts on God, trust Him with our needs, and remember that a life surrendered to Him is never lacking.

Support the show

A sheet descended from heaven filled with animals Peter had never dared to touch. But God’s voice shook his mindset:
“Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.” At the same time, God was working in the heart of Cornelius a Roman centurion, a Gentile, and a man who wasn’t supposed to be part of the story. And yet, heaven had heard his prayers. His generosity reached God’s throne. And through divine orchestration, God brought Peter and Cornelius together.
When Peter entered that Gentile household a place he once believed was off-limits something powerful happened. I take a deep dive into my birthday weekend not just the celebrations or moments, but the profound revelations God brought during that time. He reminded me that I am deeply loved, fully known, and never forgotten, even when I feel overlooked or insignificant.

I open up about how I used to idolize people and friendships, believing that love was something I had to chase or earn. I thought I had to constantly strive, prove myself, or even beg for people to show up, to make time, and to stay close. I thought closeness came at the cost of my peace and worth. But God, in His loving mercy, gave me what I thought I wanted those friendships, those validations only to show me that they weren’t the answer. They weren’t what I truly needed. In this episode, I unpack the painful yet liberating process of watching my desires get exposed, seeing my idols lose their grip, and allowing God to realign my heart with His truth. He didn’t see her just for her past mistakes; He saw her need for living water, for true transformation. His love wasn’t limited by rules or opinions; it was bold, intentional, and life-changing. As followers of Christ, we have the same calling: to love people the way Jesus did. But are we truly doing that? Are we willing to go beyond comfort zones, break down barriers, and share the gospel with those who need it most? In a world that divides and excludes, how can we reflect the love of Christ in a way that draws people closer to Him? Let’s unpack the lessons from this story and challenge ourselves to love people with truth, grace, and boldness.

When I was younger, God interrupted the course of my life in a way that changed everything. As I grew to love Him and immerse myself in His Word, I quickly realized that full surrender and a deep, personal relationship with Him are not just encouraged—they are essential. My faith in God has been the guiding light through the most pivotal and challenging moments of my life. It has been my anchor in the storm, reminding me that while we all face hardships and temptations, we are called to yield not to the desires of the flesh or the pressures of the world, but to God’s will.

The Bible teaches us to “offer our bodies as a living sacrifice.” This isn’t just about our physical bodies—it’s about offering the entirety of who we are: our hearts, minds, souls, and actions. Life is undoubtedly difficult, but take heart our battles are not fought in vain. The enemy has already been defeated, and the price of our salvation has been paid in full by Jesus Christ. He became the ultimate living sacrifice for our sins, offering us redemption, hope, and eternal life.

In this podcast, we’ll explore what it truly means to live a life surrendered to God. Together, we’ll tackle the challenges of navigating a world that often pulls us away from our Creator. We’ll dive into scripture, share personal stories, and unpack practical ways to align our lives with God’s truth. I hope to encourage you to live boldly for Christ, knowing that the same God who knows every part of you has called you to live in freedom and purpose.

Let’s walk this journey together, discovering how we can give all of ourselves to the one who gave everything for us.

Connect with me:
https://www.instagram.com/fullsurrenderpod/

Youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/@FullSurrenderpod

Support the show
