God said He knows what we have need of even before we ask. But it's easy for us to become impatient and try to meet our needs in ways that go against the will of God. This is what the devil tried to do with Jesus after His 40 days of fasting.

In this episode, I want to encourage you to trust God in every circumstance by showing you the strategies the enemy uses to get you to try and meet your legitimate needs through illegitimate means.

It's the eve of 2025 and I'm sure like many, you've already been considering some goals for the next year, and I'm proud of you.

What we must avoid however, is basing our goals on what we want because true success comes when God is at the centre of every decision.

As the Body of Christ, it seems we often focus on the physical healing of the person but not so much on the emotional healing. Jesus however didn't just die to save our souls, He died to heal our souls.

I loves me a Christmas Carol and when the song "O come all ye faithful" was read in Church this morning, I had renewed excitement, not for the season but because of the Hope Jesus brought into the world.

If you have siblings, I bet you've said or heard the phrase... "I love you all equally." Maybe you've said it yourself as a parent about your children... "I love you all the same."

But God told Lisa Bevere of Messenger International that He doesn't love us equally. Say what!! 

• God told Lisa Bevere, He loves us uniquely, not equally. What did God mean
• Why knowing your uniqueness helps you embrace your gifts and purpose
• How comparing yourself to others robs you of joy and purpose and makes you miserable
• The true definition of success and it's not what most people think 
• Why God might say yes to you and no to someone else about the same request. When you understand this you can give up on guessing whether God will come through for you.

Do you really believe the battle has already been won and that you  don't have to fight your own battles. I didn't know that and so used my tongue as my most dangerous weapon. That was until the Holy Spirit whispered and told me, He fought for me.

I learned and I'll share with you...

The Bible tells us over 100 times not to fear, but sadly, it's evident from our approach to God, our beliefs and what we say, that we clearly fear way more than we should.

Let's talk about spiritual abuse and how to avoid it. 

Whilst I don't want to get into the ins and outs of what's happening in the body of Christ, I think it's important for believers to know how to avoid getting honey-trapped by leaders whose ministry is not set on building God's kingdom.

And no, I am not tearing down in this episode, I'm building up. I have no desire to call people out but I am encouraging you from a biblical perspective to look up!

• Your Identity in Christ and why you need to seek affirmation from God, not people.
• The reason formula's for relating to Christ don't work 
• How to avoid spiritual abuse. I know, it's the elephant in the room no one wants to talk about or you might even be considered weak if you talk about it
• Why comparing yourself with others leads to covetousness, distraction and dissatisfaction

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life..." but have you ever considered why the early disciples were called, "the Way?"

2025 is soon upon us and I know you're probably wishing, praying and hoping that 2025 will be a better year than this one. 

And it can be but there are a few basic things you'll want to do to ensure you live a life fulfilled in this next season.

Declare With Me

I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I thank you for the blood of the Lamb that made me a redeemed child. And I know that your word is quick, your word is powerful. your word is sharper than any two edged sword. 

So whatever prayers I am making in the future, I will be careful to go and find a word for my prayer and I will say your word and decree and declare your word over my situation in Jesus name. Amen.

Until recently, I believed this was about loving others and then my faith would manifest. But I realise I was so limited in what I believed. So let's talk about it.

I have on the full armor of God.

I am protected by the Lord God Almighty. I do not need to fight battles that are not mine. But even in a battle, I will be sure to be the solution and not the problem. I will stay in my lane and I will mind my own business. And I will focus on the goodness of God and ensure that that is the character that I display in my life to my children, to the future generation, and even to the generation above me because we can all learn from each other. In Jesus name, amen.

Heavenly Father, I acknowledge that your name is a hallowed name.

I will remember when I'm praying that it is not about me, it is about your perspective. It is about what you want and what you want is always good for me. I acknowledge that, I receive it and I thank you that you're a Holy God. I thank you that you chose me and that I get to pray to a holy God, not a false God. And I'm looking forward to the day when I can say with the angels in heaven, holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty.

But whilst I'm here on earth, I thank you that I still get to reverence your name. I still get to bow with bended knees and bended heart and say, holy, holy, holy are you Lord. Thank you for your name. Thank you for your holiness. Thank you for sanctifying me through your name in Jesus name, Amen.

Under the New Covenant, what God says you have is a given. You don't have to perform to receive God's promises because Jesus has already paid the price... in full. 

The problem is most believers don't yet know that and we do things to try and "move the hand of God" and get what we want. 

Believing is how you receive se even in our giving, we don't have to give to get! 

• What Paul, in 2 Corinthians 9: 6-8, has to say about this
• What it truly mean to give with intention and a cheerful heart
• Why the condition of your heart more important than the amount you give
• How your belief about God influence your ability to receive from Him
• Finding the balance between your faith and action in your giving

Pick up your Bible and declare:
My God shall supply all of my need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus, and I give out of a heart of giving because I know how good God is to me and I stand on the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. Nothing I give will be a depletion from what I have, but it will only bring increase, because I already have those things because God has already promised me that he will take care of me. And so on that basis, I am an abundant giver.

And I give with abundance, with love and grace and thankfulness that God is more to me than everything that I have put together. But I don't have to give out of fear or need or obligation, because God loves it when I give as a cheerful giver. So thank you, Lord, that I have more and more to give you. And I give out of the abundance of the gratefulness in my heart. In Jesus name, Amen.

Whatever you believe in life will determine your actions and how you live. The belt of truth is so named because it holds every other part of the armour in place.

• What is the significance of the Belt of Truth being the first piece of God’s armour?
