I’ve heard friends who are older than me talk about their symptoms and discuss HRT types with each other, but I didn’t pay much attention since it didn’t apply to me. 

Well, now I’m educating myself! 

and I’m here to turn around and share what I’ve learned so far. 

I'm not a nutritionist or doctor or any expert on this, so go talk to your doctor about any of the things I mention before trying them yourself, but I am a Biohacker Mom who has been practicing herbalism and naturopathic healing methods for over 10 years now, and I am a curious person who also loves to connect with and share with others everything I learn!

I’ve heard this term a couple times recently and was inspired to try it. 

It really is so freeing and takes me back to the 1980s when you could “take your phone off the hook” when you wanted to be present with family or wanted to rest. 

We didn’t used to be so available and reachable and reactive all the time. 

Delaying the time you pick up your phone until after outdoor and morning routine time can reset your whole day for a more Proactive and Self Directed schedule instead of starting the day in Reactive mode. 

Not taking your phone off the charger for a whole weekend day creates a whole ‘nother level of mindfulness on just how often you feel compelled to pick it up and handle admin and work tasks instead of truly having a DAY OF REST and introspection. 

I challenge you to do a Phone Fast! 

How long will you try? 

And how often? 

How frequently do you want to implement it? 

I’m thinking I’d like to do at least 1 Sunday a month then probably just do every Sunday. 

That feels so expansive for me!

My oldest kiddo and I went to Teen Mastermind Live in Phoenix this past week. 

It’s a business event for teens, put on by a teen! 

the event was so inspiring, the kids and parents there were such amazing people, the venue at Andy Elliott’s facility in Fountain Hills had the best energy, as did his team helping on site, and most of all, I loved getting to have the one on one time with just one of my kids, to bond and create core memories together! 

I highly rec going 1:1 trips with just one kid.

You’ve heard all about “Buy Back Your Time” from the book by Dan Martell and I am all about outsourcing and getting your time back, 

BUT… you do NOT need to turn around and hustle more in that time you just got back! 

You don’t need to go make money in that moment, you can REST. 

You can recharge your batteries so you operate from a place of Ease, Peace, Abundance when you create and connect, and from THAT is where more abundance flows to you! 

Turning around and hustling even more with the time you get back from outsourcing will keep you in stressed-out-burnout mode, NOT feeling the relief you thought you’d feel from hiring help. 

Then you end up giving up on the outsourcing because it feels like a waste of money that doesn’t provide relief! 

Its not that it’s a waste of money, it’s that you’re so afraid to “waste your time” that you are overloading your schedule just as much as you did before, now it’s just in different categories! 

When you buy back your time, use it for rest. 

For downtime. 

For free time that doesn’t have anything scheduled in its place. 

Go walk in nature without listening to anything. 

Take a nap. 

Take a bubble bath and close your eyes and ears and have ZERO INPUT while you charge your batteries. 

A phone doesn’t charge well when we’re trying to use it full force at the same time it’s plugged in. Neither do you. 

Your down time doesn’t need to be productive. 

Your downtime needs to be restful, for you to FEEL the BALANCE you’re setting out to feel by outsourcing and hiring help. 

Now go find a pocket of time to REST in. 

Then add more each day. 

You’ll thank me a month from now  

I can’t wait to hear what beautiful nothingness you had with your time.

And don’t be afraid to do things fast and messy at first to PIVOT with progress over perfection! Just try things, and polish it up as you go. I give you permission to be imperfect so that you can be consistent and build the “action muscle”

Lauren Anderson, aka "Lolly" is pretty much the Picasso of cookies with her "Lolly's Home Kitchen" cookie camps - online cookie baking and decorating courses that serve as an amazing creative outlet and self care programs for many women, moms, families, or anyone! 

Her husband, known as "Mr. Lolly" is an accountant for entrepreneurs and they homeschool their kids with emphasis on freedom, money mindset, business, culture, and she shares how they use Household Outsourcing in a really cool way for how they do Homeschooling! 

Lauren shares about the crazy obstacles and challenges of having a child born with heart defects, and how his multiple childhood surgeries and doctor's visits shaped their family goals from then on. 

Lauren's perspective on how to use baking for self care, but still maintain nutrition goals and be disciplined with health is so inspiring.

I had the honor of interviewing my amazing, inspiring friend Joseph on the podcast! Despite unimaginable challenges his whole life, he has come out on top with the Power of Mindset and also choosing to surround himself by people who also lift him up and inspire him.  
This conversation is pure self care for us all, and reminds us of our unique greatness, and the profound effect it can have on all those around us when we continute to show up for ourselves and do the work! 

Though Joseph is not a parent himself yet, I absolutely love his perspective on parenting from his troubled upbringing, and being able to reflect now on the things that truly build us, and how other parents out there can feel both empowered and encouraged by the intentional choices they continue to make for themselves and their kids.

Megan, owner of Visionary Experiences, is a multibusiness owner, wife to a functional medicine doctor, and mom of a 3 and 5 year old. Her passions are traveling and connecting with locals, reading juicy novels, and being of service. After years of trying to feel seen and heard even by those closest to her she had her grand “aha” wake up while pregnant with her second child. That is where her journey to building Visionary Experiences began. After exploring a variety of natural healing modalities she felt most aligned and empowered through Kambo, sound healing, somatic breathwork, and mentorship. She now serves these modalities nationwide, empowering others, especially mothers, to reclaim their voice and step back into their true passion and purpose in life!

Yvette and I became fast friends in high school when we both played the same (unpopular) instrument, the french horn, in the marching band. Though I'm sure we drove our high school band director nuts with our constant snickering and joke cracking sitting next to eachother behind giant brass instruments, it solidified our friendship that has endured through the years. 

The thing that inspires me the most about Yvette, is how she TRAVELS with her family! With her husband and 3 kids, they've traversed the globe seeing and staying in some of the coolest places in other countries through Home Exchanges. Yvette has taken her kids while young to places many families think are the "someday when the kids are older" type of places, which is what I love! She LIVES HER SOMEDAYS TODAY! 

They did a long term rental in Hawaii for I think a year? They've done countless loooong flights with toddlers. And when they're home, they maintain their adventurous spirit and enjoy what is right around them, picking and cracking open coconuts in their front yard, making it a priority to actually go to the amazing places right near by often. 

Yvette's fun husband Levi is who introduced me to the idea of going to the movie theater alone after the kids are in bed. How brilliant is that? My husband and I started doing that too after being inspired by them. That way Mike could go see his apocalyptical intense drama stuff that I never wanted to watch with him, and I could go see my corny rom coms that he didnt want to watch with me. We each got to still do our own thing. Taking turns as parents to get some time to do your own things, and it can be as easy as one parent going to the movies after the kids are tucked in bed! 

Yvette is amazing at nurturing the things her kids are interested in. In learning alongside them. She's smart, curious, creative, funny and an amazing friend, and an absolute Super Mama to her family! 

And, she gave me one of the best pieces of advice that helped me transition from a corporate working Mom, to a Stay at Home Mom, that really guided me through those times. I'll share more about that in the conversation we have! 

Emily and I met through a the Powerhouse Women Six Figure School coaching program, and immediately bonded over our passion for helping fellow Mamas out there! 

Emily's background is healthcare, but her calling is empowering moms, and freeing them of Mom guilt. 

She is the author of "Live Your Life for You (Not Your Mom)" and the leader of the Empowered Moms community, where she coaches and hosts live events. 

This poised, fun woman also is a competitive ballroom dancer! I sure do love seeing fellow Moms with devotion to their hobbies and the things that make their identity besides just motherhood!

Katie and I know each other through our kids! She's a fellow Momhacker who is on a quest for balance not just for herself, but to help other Mamas with this as well! 

Katie is the owner of a digital media company The Play District, and online resource to all things family.

Her goal with her company is to empower moms just like her to have a business, but not have to sacrifice being home with their kids.  Previous to her current business, she ran a handmade e-commerce business for 9 years. (Which I also was a fanatic customer of!)

She loves beverages (coffee, tea, wine, you name it) supporting her local businesses and DIY projects. (Teaching herself to sew, tiling her bathroom, you name it!) 

She met her husband in Tucson, where they still live, and have 2 boys ages 8 and 5 and a golden retriever. 

Marie is one of the gentlest and kindest Mama souls I know. She, her husband Ben and son Bronson are all such musical and artistic beings and being in their presence is such a gift! 

Marie has had her share of challenges over the years, and she has used her journey to go deep within herself and accelerate her wisdom far beyond her years!

Christen has equity ownership in a software company called Fit Pro Tracker and works as the Director of Client Success.

She is co-founder of the Ubuntu Community for Couples, a marriage mastermind that focuses on strengthening the relationships of marriage and self, alongside all the business goals entrepreneur families have. 

Being a serial entrepreneurial family, she and her husband Matt also own Ignition Year Coaching, and Select Construction and Remodeling Idaho.

Christen is also the founder of Refined Body & Soul, a where she shares her passions in Health, Fitness and Wellness. 

Christen is soft and fierce at the same time, as she's always there to support and cheer others on, and is also a strong Brazilian Jiu Jitzu competitor!

Monica and her husband Ben are both Entrepreneurs and each own and run their own companies! This Super Mama is the mother of 4 amazing kids, a Marriage and Intimacy Coach, and the host of the podcast "Secrets of Happily Ever After" 

Monica is an ace at date nights and ways to keep the fire alive in a long time marriage. Andddd she and her awesome husband Ben are the type of parents who go to every single one of their teens' sports games, never miss church, and make family dinners and game nights a priority.

Lisa is the mom to 5 amazing humans, and she and her husband Alex are both entrepreneurs who are both masters of mindset! 

She loves live music and sunshine. She also has a rather large, almost embarassing collection of Britney Spears memorabilia. When she was a teenager, her dream job was to be a movie star, and that's now changed to a rock star... haha

Lisa's favorite concert every week is on Sundays during worship at church, and she can't seem to get through even one song without getting choked up. 

In Mompreneur life, Lisa built a 7-figure business with her husband, sold it and now focuses on what she truly feels called to do, which is help Moms regain their amazing identity, that may have gotten lost in the shuffle of being a mom. 

Lisa and Alex have learned some of the best hacks for prioritizing family and foundation for success in all other areas, and I can't wait for her to share her wisdom about this!

Mariana has 4 amazing kiddos with her husband. She and I are best friends from high school, were roommates in college for a summer, and have shared countless motherhood hacks with each other over the years. Mariana started having kids before me, so she was one of the best resources for Mama wisdom for me when I started having my own kids a few years later.

Easy healthy homemade meals for a big family - she's on it! She's got that stuff prepped ahead of time! She is an instant pot, crock pot, air fryer guru. 

Chore chart and family responsibilities are another area she's an ace. Oh, and dog training! She's a master there as well. 

One of the areas this amazing woman really inspires me is her love of holidays, and how she goes all out to make them special for her family. The things that feel hard and a lot of work to me, that I don't even bother with haha, is something she excels at and really enjoys. She creates special table arrangements and menu items for every holiday of the year. She loves to decorate and really bring the festivities not just to her home, but to her kids' schools and teachers and even mails the most amazing packages to loved ones. "Tea Party in a box" anyone?? 

(I keep trying to convince her to start a holiday decorating service... who would subscribe to that? I know I would! Yes, please come decorate my house for me... lol)
