I have found this a challenging question for myself and many of my clients, as the conditioning is to serve others, not self. Healing on this level demands your full attention. Often individuals are seeking change, tired of the circumstances they are surrounded by, yet the commitment required to go through this work can feel overwhelming if they are not truly ready (you're ready when you're ready). Healing is best done with a guide, such as a trauma informed/trained coach or therapist. You're not alone in the journey, and having one that has done their own healing to help guide through the murky waters makes a substantial difference.
