Hank surprises Erica with a no-notice hop-on call. No hints, no agenda given beforehand, just an "I need to talk to you about something." What he wanted to talk about: the Lindsay Clancy trial, and how unbelievably up Jordy's alley this whole case is.

From there, the conversation turns into exactly the kind of unfiltered, stream-of-consciousness discussion Jordy would have wanted to have herself. They get into postpartum psychosis vs. postpartum OCD, why the DSM doesn't even agree on what "postpartum" means, a medication timeline that raises hard questions about the medical system, and the parts of this case that hit closer to home than expected: judgment, remarriage after loss, and how grief changes what you're willing to assume about someone else's choices.

This isn't a true-crime breakdown. Neither of them has watched the trial in full, and they say so upfront. It's an attempt to sit with the harder question underneath the verdict: what does guilt even mean here, and who else failed before she did.

Jordana “Jordy” Rachel Glassner (née Epstein) was born on January 9, 1992, to Susan and Iro Epstein. She was a devoted daughter and a cherished sister to Ari Epstein and Jonathan Epstein.

Jordy attended Riverside Drive Elementary School, where she met her lifelong friends Erica Rozmid and Alex Firestone. She later attended New Jewish Community High School, continuing to build the deep and lasting relationships that defined her life.

On February 15, 2020, Jordy married her beloved husband and best friend, Hank Glassner. Shortly thereafter, they welcomed their beautiful son, Brody Glassner, on May 13, 2022. Being a wife and mother was the greatest joy of Jordy’s life, and her love for her family was boundless.

Professionally, Jordy was a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s degree in Psychology. She specialized in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders and was deeply committed to supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most vulnerable moments. Her work was marked by compassion, honesty, and an unwavering belief in the power of connection.

In August of 2023, Jordy was diagnosed with glioblastoma. From that moment forward, she began an extraordinary journey—facing the disease with courage while openly sharing her experience to raise awareness and reduce isolation for others. Jordy’s willingness to speak publicly about glioblastoma created a space where many felt seen, understood, and less alone.

That same spirit of openness and humanity lived on through *Grief Street*, a podcast Jordy co-created with her best friend, Erica Rozmid, and her husband, Hank Glassner, bringing people together through shared stories of grief, resilience, and connection.

Jordy is survived by her beloved husband, Hank Glassner; her loving son, Brody; her parents, Susan and Iro Epstein; her siblings, Ari Epstein (Cassie Zwart) and Jonathan Epstein (Lasha); her grandfather, Howard Lockman; her mother-in-law, Arlene Glassner; her brother-in-law, Eric Glassner; and her many treasured aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Jeanne Lockman and her grandparents Leopold and Regina Epstein.

Jordy passed away January 13, 2026. She was a rare and remarkable soul—deeply empathetic, fiercely honest, and profoundly loving. Her impact reached far beyond those who knew her personally, and her legacy will continue through the lives she touched, the conversations she started, and the love she gave so freely.

Jordy had her third brain surgery last week and this time recovery is a lot tougher than anticipated. Upon waking up, she was unable to move the entire left side of her body, fearing that she was permanently paralyzed. Luckily that is not the case, but there is a long road to recovery.

Before Erica and Alex visit Jordy at an inpatient rehab facility, they record from the car attempting to hash out their emotions before seeing their best friend. Then the trio gets real about this whole situation upon this setback and how they have been dealing with the emotional and physical toll of this unfortunate outcome.
