We are fortunate to have stunning winters that draw tourists from around the globe, but as we discovered in episode 17, Swiss winters and the health of our glaciers are changing drastically. </p><p><a href='https://protectourwinters.org/'>Protect Our Winters</a> was founded by the American professional snowboarder <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeremy_Jones_(freerider)'>Jeremy Jones</a> in 2007 and the Swiss chapter in 2017 by <a href='https://www.protectourwinters.ch/de/ueber-uns/team/'>Nicholas Bornstein.</a> The focus of the organization is to communicate positive and emotional information as a means to channel passion for the outdoors.
