Former Cleveland Indians manager Mike Hargrove was on the field during the drunken fan riots as a member of the Texas Rangers on that infamous day on June 4, 1974. Dan Coughlin, a long-time Sports Reporter at WJW Fox 8 News, was an Indians beat writer at the time of 10 Cent Beer Night. Both men go down memory lane on what they remember on that night filled with dozens of punches thrown, hundreds of consumed kegs of beer and bad decisions..

Back in 1985, Corna was the man behind the idea of a new stadium for the Cleveland Browns and Indians called the "Hexatron." Robert is bringing his idea back with a modern twists for the Browns and the City of Cleveland in hopes of building a newer version of the Hexatron by the end of the decade.

The guys talk about why the Hexatron failed in the mid 1980s, why it would work now, what obstacles are ahead for Corna and his new Hexagon Stadium, where in downtown would he build it, and why he thinks his plan is significantly better than the Browns building a dome stadium in Brook Park...

On this Sabol Brothers on the Baseline podcast, John and Scott are joined with Ohio native and ESPN Director, Producer and Documentarian Andy Billman on his new film "War in the Diamond" (streaming now on Apple, Amazon, VOD & DVD).

This documentary details the tragic death of Cleveland Indians star Ray Chapman in 1920 after getting hit in the head with a pitch from Yankees pitcher Carl Mays. Andy explains the events leading up to this awful day in New York and how Chapman's death started a rivalry between Cleveland and the New York Yankees. The guys recorded this episode inside of the League Park Baseball Heritage Museum in Cleveland. This was the site of Chapman's rise to stardom for the Tribe and one of the two stadiums that hosted the 1920 World Series.

Andy is no stranger to the Cleveland sports scene. He's a die hard Browns, Cavs and Guardians gan. He directed the popular ESPN's "30 For 30" documentary a few years ago called "Believeland."

Walsh isn't just a collector of stadium seats and other sports memorabilia, he also helped demolish Municipal Stadium in the mid 1990s. In addition, he worked on the construction of FirstEnergy Stadium and the renovation projects at FirstEnergy and Progressive Field.

George McNair, an assistant principal, guidance counselor and basketball coach at Grace Christian School in Staunton, VA, was a teenager at the time in the late 1990s when his father and other school staff made the trek up to Richfield, OH where they purchased the historic Cleveland Cavaliers basketball court.
