Just how expectant can we be for the goodness of God to overwhelm our lives? How confident can I be as a minister that God is in me and wants to use me? Why not prayerfully reach for the stars if the God of all heaven made them and desires to be glorified through you? Who are you to stand in the way of Almighty God with references of your weakness? The only relevant factor in your being used mightily by the Holy Spirit is the faith with which you approach your calling to make God known.

The Good Shepherd loves to embarrass the enemy by using us in our weakness and strengthening us when we should have been the Devil's prey! Join me in this episode and learn how we are not only sustained, but EMPOWERED to live the victorious Christian life.

Welcome back! Im so excited to kick off season 2 with this message on God's love. As the year turned on January 1st my husband and I were both met with a matching desire to know God and His love more than ever... When we grasp how this seemingly rudimentary knowledge is in fact the platform for all power, peace and purpose, we will live a fuller and more effective life!

Blessed are those whose strength is in you,
in whose heart are the highways to Zion.
As they go through the Valley of Baca
they make it a place of springs;
the early rain also covers it with pools.
They go from strength to strength;
each one appears before God in Zion.

Here in the valley, deep calls to deep. Here in your dark trial, you are made a well. Springs of life flow up from what was previously a dearth. Here in Baca, God is digging a well,

The Lord has brought this phrase to my attention so much lately.
God is  imaginative.
He is so creative, so resourceful… What we see as limited God sees as opportunity. Somehow God is able to navigate the terrain of our personal weakness, personal failures and even opposition and mistreatment from others and bring about His plans and purposes. There is a way through the forest of your past trauma and current affliction. God is imaginative. He dwells on a higher level and sees beyond the supposed dead end you are facing.

Somehow I find it hard to believe that after all God has done to be in relationship with us that He is content for our relationship to be cold and casual. It has come to my attention that not everybody has experienced the feeling of being God's favorite and so many struggle with the idea of being His best friend. This is the result of seeking God through His word... as we seek His heart as revealed through His word, our heart burns like His and life cannot help but come out in our every day existence. God wants to give us His heart... He wants to IMPART His desires to us... not just learn about them.. but feel and move in the very heart of God Himself. This is the living breathing reality of reading your Bible.

What a glorious God we belong to! He is ONE GOD in THREE PERSONS. This is our triune God. He is an unfathomable mystery that we get the privilege of dedicating our whole lives to! As God the Son, God the Father and God the Holy Spirit are all intertwined, we are invited and placed within this tapestry – not as an equal but as if within a protective cloth of heavenly weaving. These are my sister's dying words... At age 22 Dawn-Joy Lovell's earthly life was over. I share this in honor of her life.. a life well spent… Her words were a piercing cry of hope in a dying world. Her life was a contradiction to the values and perspectives of our temporal pursuits.
