Things don't stay the same. Experiences live in our memories and lives go on with or without you. It's important to keep some memories alive and share them with others. It is important as well to keep some of them to yourself. #Poetry #Writing Community

Good things can come out of boredom. If one lets it, boredom can almost force a person to expand their thoughts on how simple tasks can be done and done with purpose. I remember this assignment very well in class and I thought it might be stifled by the limitations on writing. It became clear later that writing while the accentuation of hard consonant sounds wasn't as hard or limiting as I first thought. Please leave a note if the spirit moves you.

This is one of my earlier pieces. I finally got up the nerve to share it. Things didn't turn out as bad I thought though. I shouldn't think of it as a failure so much as it is an opportunity to do better.

I always thought that responsibilities were simply jobs, chores and things expected of you. I was wrong because sometimes your responsibilities need you.
