Diane and Izumi visit the house of a known goblin gang member to dig for information about the murder, then move on to investigate a suspected drop point---where a familiar figure is waiting to provide assistance in his usual creepy, self-interested way. 

Diane and Matt complete the second challenge in the contest to determine Ignis' fate, but are suddenly called to the hospital to investigate the murder of the man who owned the house with the basement full of lavellans. But this interruption in the contest does not please Ignis and Suetonius, who express their displeasure in a very violent and public way--in the sky above the hospital.

Diane, Matt, Izumi, Ignis and Suetonius enter the basement of a contaminated house to deal with the poisonous fairykind monsters lurking there, in the first of three contests to determine Ignis' fate. But for the second challenge, the group must travel under Seaside to the territory of Lionel the gnome, and judge the authenticity of three priceless magic pearls.

When Ignis the dragon bursts into the Clatsop County BNT office and announces that a well-situated dragon territory has suddenly become available, Diane isn't sure what to expect. Until Ignis reveals that she will have to fight another dragon for the territory, which will destroy a large portion of the surrounding area. Unless, of course, Diane and another human act as stand-ins for the dragons in a proxy battle for the land. A battle that Diane must win--or else Ignis will be forced to wed an insufferable enemy.

Matt, Diane, Dylan and Alex have come to the heart of Seaside to rescue human hostages and capture Asmund Strom. But Matt must first destroy the dullahan---even though Asmund is threatening to drown the hostages if Matt doesn't toss his weapons and any gold he's carrying into the Necanicum River. All Matt can do is agree to approach the dullahan unarmed. And hope that the approaching thunderstorm will arrive before it's too late . . .

Matt, Diane, Ian and Cory search in vain for the dullahan. When it doesn't appear, Matt isn't sure what lure will draw it out of hiding. But when Dylan calls to report that Asmund Strom has appeared in Seaside and has taken hostages, Matt must abandon the search and return to town. Somehow, he must defeat Asmund---even though Asmund is using his music to hold the hostages captive on the bridge over the Necanicum River, and can drown them all with just a handful of notes.

When Ian discovers that the dullahan has chosen Matt as its next victim, he strikes a deal: in exchange for not dumping Matt in a bog, he gets to take part in the effort to catch the monster. He isn't too keen on following Matt's orders, however. Meanwhile, Asmond Strom has found his way back to the human realm---and he plans to bring death and chaos to the town of Seaside.

Agent Matt Fischer is trying to locate escaped prisoner Asmund Strom, when he hears over the radio that a headless horseman is galloping up and down Highway 101. Matt heads to town to liaison with Agents Diane Foster and Dylan Parry, instructing them to set up an ambush. But Matt doesn't know that the horseman has already selected his prey---and that prey is Matt himself. Not only that; a certain pooka is about to involve himself in the most disruptive way possible.

Young fairykind Asmund Strom, on the run and hiding from agent Matt Fischer, goes in search of human prey at Cape Lookout State Park. It is there that Asmund hears the story of the Haunted Horseman--and encounters Herne the Hunter. When Asmund finds the door to the Twilight Realm open, he realizes he has the perfect way to get rid of Matt Fischer once and for all.

Trapped inside the house, Barbara and Carlos must decide whether to leave the safety of the basement. But the chupacabra is lurking somewhere in the yard, and there's no sign of Signe. If Carlos and Barbara leave the house, they will have to face the chupacabra with nothing but three shotgun shells and a tire iron. And if they do somehow escape with their lives, they'll have nowhere to go except into town---which is currently in a state of emergency.

Carlos Sanchez, night manager at the Hi Tide Mini Mart, gets a frantic call from his landlady, Barbara. A monster is trying to eat Barbara's pet goats; it has already captured one and drained it of blood. Barbara thinks it's just an ordinary fairykind monster. But Carlos was raised on his Puerto Rican grandfather's stories. He knows exactly what kind of evil creature drinks the blood of goats.

When Nidesha unexpectedly attacks, Bria is forced to flee Coastal Magic Solutions. Hoping to make it to Seaside alone, Bria runs for her life through the rainy night, only to be lured into a bog by a will 'o wisp. When the kelpie arrives, Bria realizes she must choose between drowning and being eaten.

Bria arrives at Coastal Magic Solutions, and believes she is safe at last---until the kelpie begins sending nightmares designed to lure her into leaving the building, and it's discovered that Bria still has kelpie hair attached to her skin.

Bria Chapman, new resident of Seaside, is running on the beach when a kelpie attacks her. Something with a terrible growl challenges the kelpie, although Bria escapes before she can get a good look at it. But when a man shows up at her house later, Bria discovers that he's the monster who fought the kelpie---and he thinks Bria smells good enough to eat.

Melanie interviews Jack and Ian about topics as varied as favorite foods, girlfriends and memorable pranks---and learns some insider secrets about cait sith and pooka magic.

Ian recruits Dair's fiancee, the beautiful and treacherous Nidesha, to help him rescue Brett from a house full of nagas. But when Ian is forced to take mouse form, the nagas hunt him down---even as Nidesha uses her tree magic to rip the house apart.

Ian and Rachel are escaping from the brown naga when Ian is bitten. He wakes to discover that he would have died, were it not for Li Qiang Long's intervention. But the nagas are still after Rachel and her son, and when Brett runs away from Coastal Magic Solutions, Ian chases, hoping he can catch the boy before the nagas do. 

Ian glamours Rachel and lures her outside the house and onto his back. Unfortunately, the moment the glamour wears off, Rachel is ready for war, despite Brett's assurances that Ian is only trying to help. Not only that---the nagas have set a trap, and Ian, Rachel and Brett are about to run right into it.

Ian attempts to persuade a human woman named Rachel to move with her son to a safe house.  But Rachel, who hates all fairykind, shuts the door in his face. Her house is covered in salt and iron, and she's sure that will be enough to keep Ian out. She is, of course, wrong.

Dylan and his team of BNT agents must fight off a pack of dropbears in the Clatsop County Forest, in order to capture the pegasi and apprehend the thieves raiding stymphalian nests. Luckily Barry arrives to deal with other forest predators. Except catching the pegasi is harder than expected. And Barry has his hands full when a lindworm attacks.

Dylan and Barry get cornered by a naga as soon as they leave the Goblin Black Market, and are forced to hide out at Rudy Boudreaux's farm. But Dylan has a plan to trap whoever is using pegasi to hunt stymphalian birds. Provided there isn't something worse waiting in the woods for Dylan and his team.

Dylan and Barry attempt to get the pegasus and a collection of strange fairykind birds out of the Goblin Black Market. But when somebody tries to shoot the pegasus out of the sky, our heroes are forced to fight their way to the Market gate---unaware of the dangers they'll face when they reenter the human realm.

Dylan and Barry discover that pegasi are indeed being sold in the Goblin Black Market, and decide to rescue one. But to do so, they must defeat the animal's guards: two bloodthirsty fairykind creatures with human faces on the fronts of their heads and hyena faces on the back.

Dylan and Barry enter the Goblin Black Market. Surrounded by deadly and hostile fairykind, they sneak past tents full of contraband until they reach their destination: a brothel. Where an exotic informant will offer them more than information.

Dylan and Barry investigate the sudden appearance of a dead body at the local amusement park, only to discover that more than one fairykind may be responsible for the death---and that they must enter the Goblin Black Market to learn more.

King Eshai threatens retribution if Hanta doesn't bring him the suspect that Agent Fischer is looking for. Hanta must choose whether to serve his king---and spare himself a terrible death at the hands of the Hungry Jaws---or to honor his promise to Matt Fischer, no matter the cost.

Hanta, Dair and Matt Fischer travel with King Eshai to the Western Palace Undersea, where Hanta learns how difficult it will be to determine which of Eshai's subjects plans to steal his territory---and what the consequences will be, should Hanta fail in his task.

Hanta meets the powerful and temperamental King of the Pacific, who arrives at Coastal Magic Solutions with his terrifying guards, the shark-like Hungry Jaws. But it turns out that the sensual and mercurial mer king's past is tied to the burglary case in unexpectedly naughty ways.

Hanta, Alex, Ian and Signe the Night Elf set a trap for their mysterious burglar. But when all the taps in the house start dripping sea water, the team discovers that their thief is more difficult to catch--and more dangerous--than they expected.

Hanta arrives at Coastal Magic Solutions, but things go very wrong when Ian threatens to kill him. When Dair arrives to stop the inevitable fight, Hanta finds himself trapped in tree branches--and face to face with more power than he can handle.

Hanta reaches Seaside, only to be waylaid by a Marsh elf, who forces him to visit the Clatsop BNT. Senior Agent Matt Fischer has heard about the events at the airport, and he seems ready to ship Hanta off to the rehabilitation reservation. But Matt is willing to bargain. He'll wipe the slate clean for Hanta--if Hanta will do something for Matt in return. 

Hanta Johnson, an Alaskan monster, attempts to start a new life in Oregon State. Only to discover that his tribe has double-crossed him, in an attempt to get him branded as a threat to humans and shipped off to a BNT-run reservation. 

Melanie invites Matt Fischer, Ian Walsh, Jack Sawan and Prince Dair into the studio to answer listener questions. Matt explains the basics of human magic and the reason fairykind are so drawn to humans. Dair reveals the secret formula for shiny hair. And Ian explains what it's like to change forms---and tells us what he finds attractive in a woman.

In the final episode of Season Two, Matt and Barney lure the afanc into the woods, while Dylan does his best to convince the firebird guarding the Lake of Tributes to allow him to take the blue pearl. But Dylan isn't sure he can bring himself to do what the firebird demands in return.

Matt and Dylan answer a sphinx's riddle in order to pass through the third gate into the heart of the Twilight Realm. But once inside, they discover that the lake guardians they were told to expect have been replaced with more dangerous---and exotic---fairykind creatures. 

Dylan must assume command when Matt's snakebite makes him ill and delirious. Somehow, Dylan must lead Matt and Barney the griffin through a desert, with almost no water, and no idea how long they will need to walk. And when they reach the place where the line ends, Dylan has no idea what sacrifice will be required in order to open the next gate.

Dylan, Matt and Barney enter a bayou and must negotiate with a naga queen and her three suitors for transportation to the next gate. But the sacrifice required to pass through the second gate may be Matt's death.

Agents Matt Fischer and Dylan Parry enter the Twilight Realm on a mission to find a mysterious lake at the realm's heart. But the realm will test anyone brave - or foolish - enough to travel there. Dylan and Matt must face three tests. And they might not even survive the first.

Jack and Izumi enter the dullahan's domain, when Cory loses interest in their lure and attacks the dullahan instead. Then Herne sounds his horn to signal a new hunt, and Jack tries to force Izumi to return to the human realm. Izumi must choose whether to treat Jack as an enemy as well.

Izumi, Jack, Camo and Mojo infiltrate Herne's palace, with help from Herne's army of kobold staff. But Izumi must choose whether to leave Mojo behind in order to finish the mission. And luring Cory to the cat door in the vineyard might be the most dangerous gambit of all.

Jack, Izumi, Camo and the rescued kobold must find a way to outwit the Svartálf who wants to turn them over to Herne to obtain a reward. Izumi is forced to challenge the elf to a riddle contest in order to win their freedom.

Izumi and Jack are forced to fight a jorogumo in order to rescue a kobold. During the fight, Izumi is bitten, and she and her companions are forced to abandon the mission, so that Jack can get Izumi to an ER before the venom in the bite kills her. 

Izumi, Jack and a ring fairy named Camo sneak through Herne's palace, looking for a place to hide until they have an opportune moment to steal Cory away. But the endless halls of Herne's palace are full of dangers, and someone--or rather, something--deadly is weaving a sinister trap for our heroes.

Jack Sawan, a cat-sìth, approaches BNT agent Izumi Nakamura with an offer to open a cat door into Herne's Twilight Realm. If Izumi accepts Jack's offer, she'll have a way to sneak into Herne's palace to rescue Cory Hines. But Jack's help comes at a price.

He has no weapons and the fog horse he's riding is stealing his core magic, but somehow, Rudy must defeat Adonis. Even if it means striking a bargain with Herne that sacrifices Cory.

When Adonis wounds Lysander severely, Rudy and Matt must try to defeat the satyr alone. But they aren't expecting Adonis to use his fairykind magic to turn a very powerful friend into a deadly enemy.

Rudy and Lysander are face-to-face with Herne and his Wild Hunt, when Adonis suddenly seizes Rudy and carries him deep into the forest. Adonis plans to keep Rudy prisoner and drink his core magic-infused blood. Rudy can only hope Lysander will find him in time to help him escape.

Rudy and Lysander must subdue Cory when his cù-sìth magic takes him over, and run with the dryads to the safety of Coastal Magic Solutions. Because Cory's howl has drawn the attention of Lord Herne and his Wild Hunt, who chase Rudy, Lysander and the dryads through the rainy darkness. But the Wild Hunt has drawn Adonis' attention, as well.

Rudy learns the truth about Lysander's cousin--and the real reason that Lysander left Greece, and his shameful past, behind. 

Ian takes it upon himself to announce that the show is taking a one-week hiatus while Melanie upgrades the recording equipment.

Agent Rudy Boudreaux has to step in when the Seaside PD attempt to arrest a faun in the Grocery Outlet parking lot.  The faun, Lysander Kouris, is there to save five dryads grafted to lemon trees. But neither Rudy nor Lysander expects the dryads to refuse the life-saving new grafts.

Diane discovers the murderer's true motives when she enters the Davis Logging and Lumber's Executive office and finds five dryads grafted to lemon trees.

Diane meets Cory Hines, a cù-sìth, who helps her figure out how the body in the clearcut was really burned. Then Ignis arrives and incites Cory to attack.

Move back in time to the day Diane Foster, Saurian Specialist, first joined Matt's BNT crew. Diane knew they'd asked her to start early because of a dragon problem.  She didn't know that the dragon was accused of murdering a human. And that it would be Diane's job to prove that the dragon wasn't guilty.

Season Two kicks off with a Q&A with Dair, Barry and Ian! Our fairykind CEOs speak frankly about Ian's love life, Dair's ability with a bow, and Barry's power over coffee.

Alex must defend himself against two vampires, on a deserted beach in the darkest part of the night. He has enough magic to either turn a vampire human, or undo the cockatrice's curse on Annaliese's wings. Now he must decide which is more important: to save his own life, or to give Annaliese the power to fly again.

Now powerless, Alex goes into hiding at Coastal Magic Solutions, although it means he must have a difficult conversation about marriage with Annaliese. Meanwhile, Frank has stolen something precious from the warehouse, to force Alex to go with him to a deadly meeting with an old enemy.

Alex meets his uncle Matt at a strange warehouse in the middle of the woods. Matt introduces Alex to the members of his team of BNT operatives - and warns Alex to never reveal what the BNT is storing in the warehouse.

Alex Fischer returns to Seaside to ask his uncle Matt for help. Alex's bargain with vampires has changed his magic, and given Alex's clan a whole new reason to want him dead.

Annaliese must work with Nidesha to locate the cockatrice, even as Nidesha spitefully reveals the truth about swan maid magic. But when the cockatrice does appear, Annaliese must decide whether to save Nidesha, or allow the beast to turn her to stone.

Matt Fischer arrives at Coastal Magic Solutions to recruit help for a problem with a cockatrice, and Annaliese, in an attempt to avoid spending time alone with Nidesha, volunteers to go on the mission. Unfortunately, Nidesha takes it as a challenge, and also volunteers.

Having just escaped an abusive marriage, Annaliese Klein takes a job at Coastal Magic Solutions, where she can live under the protection of the three powerful CEO's. But just when Annaliese thinks she's safe, Dair's betrothed, Countess Nidesha, drops by to check on her wayward future husband.

Trapped in a cave, Ian grows more and more feral as he loses the last of the core magic keeping his chaotic fairykind nature in check. Then Roger is thrown into the cave, and Ian must battle his urge to murder Roger - the human who refused to give Ian core magic when he needed it most.

Ian is strongarmed into protecting the blogger who attacked him in print. Because that same blogger is a witness for the prosecution's case against a member of the Night Eyes, a goblin mob terrorizing Seaside.

Ian Walsh, pooka and alleged petty criminal, tries to escape from a hotel before Agent Matt Fischer can capture him. But when Ian is injured, Matt calls in a specialist - the mysterious and legendary Li Qiang Long.

The magic of tree and water pits itself against the poison of salt and iron in this final battle between our heroes and Parker Lansby's evil wraith. 

Dair, Winterberry and Ian learn the truth about the wraiths menacing Clatsop and Klickitat Counties. Together with Agent Matt Fischer, they travel to Parker Lansby's home to confront the menace.

Dair and Winterberry learn more about Ariana's request for aid, and must convince a reluctant Ian Walsh to help them save a possessed human.

Prince Dair of Cedar battles a human possessed by an evil spirit creature, only to find that his efforts haven't won him human support - and that more spirit creatures are threatening the citizens of Seaside.
