In the Kingdom of God, conversations begin not with speech but with surrender. Elijah learned this lesson in a very profound way. As you remember his story, he was exhausted running from Jezebel and all that he had been through. Plus, you have to remember he just killed all those prophets of Baal. Quite exhausting position that he had found himself in. Overwhelmed, he was spiritually drained, hiding in a cave on Mount Horeb. He expected God to reveal himself through something dramatic. He expected God to show up in fire, wind, or shaking ground, something make the mountains shake. But the Lord bypassed this spectacular. And if you remember, he spoke to him in a whisper. You can see this is 2 Kings 19. Why a whisper? Because God wants you to be quiet enough to hear him when he speaks softly to you.

Hebrews 12:18-24
In this passage, the author of Hebrews reflects to two different mountains as an illustration and to contrast between living by the old covenant which we call the old testament and living under the new covenant of grace. The Old Covenant, which we usually refer to as the Old Testament, was about the sacrificial system through which Israel was able to attain temporary righteousness by sacrificing an animal as the substituting atonement for their sins. Once a year on the day of atonement, the high priest would slay an animal, collect its blood, and on behalf of the people, sprinkle it on the mercy seat, which rested in the inner sanctuary of the temple as atonement for the nation. That was God's prescribed method for sanctifying Israel until such time that Messiah would come and die as the permanent sacrifice for the entire world. Thereby providing permanent righteousness for those who would believe by faith and what Jesus did on the cross. It's imperative that you understand the difference. We are about to meet Jesus and we want to understand what he has fully done for us.
The old was the shadow and the new is reality.

Are you a Peacekeeper or a Peacemaker? There is a big differences.

Most people in the church are Peacekeepers meaning;
- they avoid any kind of discomfort; their motto is, don't rock the boat.
- they hide behind any confrontation, meaning they let things go of that which should be addressed in love. In other words, they are not truth tellers.
- peacekeepers choose to keep peace, no matter the cost as long as they are not moved out of their comfort zone.
- by not acknowledging wrong doings, in an effort to maintain peace, peacekeepers actually justify wrongs rather than doing the more difficult work of resolving conflicts.
- peacekeepers want to maintain things as they are without discord or change.

In Matthew 31:23 Jesus refers not to those who keep the peace, but to those who actively make peace happen. The Peacemakers.
Peacemakers
- work at creating peace.
- work at reconciling people that are at odds with one another.
- peacemakers are willing to speak up.
- they endure discomfort, for they know the price of peace often requires a situation to get worse before it gets better.
- peacemakers will initiate opportunities for brave conservations.
- they understand that honest relationships are often messy but deeply worthwhile.
- to a peacemaker, EVERYONE is valuable.
There is no better friend than a honest, loyal, faithful Peacemaker.

So the question is, why talk about persecution? Because ‘Persecution’ is not waiting for us to leave this earth. It is extremely important that we understand how to prepare for it. Jesus Loves and is forewarning us as stated in 2Timothy 3:12, that everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus, will suffer persecution. Agencies reveal that more than 365 million Christians worldwide are facing high levels of persecution and discrimination, all for the sake of their faith. Pastor Sandra Kennedy addresses at least three things that will prepare us to stand firm in these last days as we get closer to the coming of the Lord. Number 1, because we are different, when walking in righteousness. Number 2, that we should expect to be misrepresented (criticized, mocked, etc.) which is another form of persecution. And Number 3, because of our allegiance to Him, we should expect an outpouring of Grace in the midst of being persecuted. He is invisible, you cannot touch Him, can't sit next to him, can't put your arms around him but He will lead you in your quest to be transformed into the image of our Lord. Jesus referred to Him as another helper, the comforter, the spirit of holiness, the spirit of adoption, spirit of wisdom, spirit of power, spirit of grace all wrapped up in the Holy Spirit our Helper. Our personal future, requires a relationship with the Holy Spirit, when we desire to be victorious in our walk with God. Our greatest longing should be that Holy Spirit reminds and teaches us everything we need to know from the Word of God.

All through the Bible God is presented as a Just and Righteous Judge. He's not limited to a jurisdiction like human judges. He reigns over the heavens and the earth, executing judgment from His throne. God’s guarantee is that Righteousness will ultimately be upheld, sin will be dealt with, and He is not overlooking anything. We must understand that His Justice arises from His Heart of Love because Justice cannot survive without Love. Isaiah 59 says “No one cares about being fair and honest; people run to evil, rush to commit murder, think only about sinning, misery and destruction; our courts oppose the righteous; truth stumbles in the streets, honesty has been outlawed; Truth is gone and anyone who renounces evil is attacked”. Yes, we ALL will give an account of what part we contribute to injustice.

Learned Obedience, does not mean He lacked understand of Obedience, Jesus was Perfect spiritually and morally, however, for our sake Jesus took on the seed of Abraham and demonstrated obedience in action through His human experience, doing what He saw the Father do. We live in a time when people just use the name of Jesus, just talk about God as if He is the man upstairs. “Woe is me” seems antiquated, but the truth is, church, every human being who has truly encountered the Holiness of God trembles in His presence. The more we come to grips with the Holiness of God, the more we understand who He really is and who we really are. He is the eternal and everlasting One, we are the children of His creation, dependent upon Him for all we need, even for our next breath.

The question is will you dare to pray like the Prophet Daniel and learn from him – to be persistent and have an unrelenting prayer life; and to understand that there is more happening in the invisible (spiritual) realm which is far more powerful than the visible (natural) realm that brings doubt, fear, anxiety and not being settled. The Lord says we triumph in prayer because we never pray alone, and we always have God’s angelic help.

The book of Colossians is perhaps the most Christ centered book in the Bible. In the 2025 message we were told, pay much attention to Paul's letter to the Colossians, for its message is deeper than you have perceived and My Spirit will make that letter come alive for you. Paul was determined to write a letter of exhortation and encouragement to try to counter all these false teachings that were everywhere. Pastor Kennedy stated, “It is incumbent upon us to do just that. We need to take a deep dive into the letter. It's important that we know what the Bible teaches, that we're teaching the Word of God and not teaching and hearing false doctrine.” The truth of the gospel and legalism has always been a problem when no matter how free we are, we end up being legalistic about our freedom with some kind of control. YOU need to know that Jesus is the ONLY One who can set you free!

As stated in Philippians 2, “do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit but with humility of mind regarding one another as more important than yourself.” The question is how does Jesus Love YOU? Is Loving like Jesus impossible for you? For us to attain to an unselfish love, for His Grace, is always available to empower us to do whatever it is He has called us to do. Think on this… the Christ in you, the Hope of Glory can enable you to do that if you are willing to let Him do the work in you. Remember, your behavior affects somebody else – a selfish heart, creates a cold heart. As a Born Again Believer of Jesus Christ we have a moral responsibility to care for each other.

It gives us assurance about things we cannot see.” A solid consistent faith is absolutely vital to every single one of us and never more important, has it ever been than it is right now. Church it is easier to celebrate someone else’s faith than to stand strong in your own crises. The Word of God testifies of People who made choices to believe, they had challenges, struggles, moments of doubts and fears; yet they let their faith and what they believe override the fears and doubts. Their testimonies assure us that what the writer of Hebrews wrote is unequivocally and absolutely the truth. Faith will require that you step out of your comfort zone and obey the voice of the Holy Spirit. Why, because God is far more concerned with your spiritual maturity than with your comfort. God is greater than anything that could ever threaten to derail God's destiny for your life. God never uses anyone greatly until He has tested them deeply. Remember, Faith is NOT static - the question is how much do you live by it?

The Word of God say, “Give Thanks for all things for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus, even giving Thanks for the grace to endure”. Expressing our gratitude before we receive a blessing is an act of faith that releases divine power into our lives. In giving Thanks to the Father, like Jesus, we too can receive strength to go through even through the bad moments, so let your Faith be a Shouting Faith!

The Bible urges us to conduct our lives in such a way that at whatever moment He makes His appearance, you would be ready and excited to see Him face to face. In the Word of God, there are close to 1000 prophecies relating to the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. We all need to judge ourselves to see if we are who Jesus is describing in scriptures as the Faithful, Submitted, Committed, Patient, Repented servant who is watchful, obedient, and is reflecting a steadfast Godly life while waiting for His Soon Return.

As born again disciples, we are in a spiritual union that unites us with Jesus Christ in such a way that His life literally counts for our life, His death counts for our death, and His resurrection counts for our resurrection. All of us need to look at our lives from a spiritual perspective because to the depth that we understand something - we Live It.

He exchanged the radiant robe of a Sovereign King for the garment of a servant by choice, not forced by any means, to come down to be like us, yet knew no sin. Yes, we are talking about Jesus who resigned everything for a crown of thorns, and knew what was going to happen to Him. We're talking about the Lord of Glory, totally dependent on the Father and the Holy Spirit, the One who knows your name and the One we are about to meet. The real question is not what we are to make of Jesus, BUT what is Jesus making of us in this enemy occupied world?

He Is the most important person who ever lived, we must understand that nothing goes right without HIM, and remember that He is the Christ that lives in you, the Hope of Glory. The real question is not, what are we to make of Jesus? But what is He to make of us, you? In Jesus of Nazareth, are all the elements of a perfect character, is He Everything you need!

What does it mean to have a Pure Heart? The Bible says, God Blesses those whose hearts are PURE, for they will see God. Psalm 32: 8, declares, I want to live according to Your Truth Lord, grant me purity of heart so that I may honor You. The Word of God is very clear that Purity is important to God and there is a unique blessing for those whose hearts are pure. We must know that being pure in heart is not automatic, it is a daily living from a pure heart and it is an ongoing process. Remember, God looks at the heart of people far more than anything else. He is searching for those who have pure hearts, fully committed hearts as seen in Proverbs 4:23, where we are admonished to guard our heart above all else because it determines the course of our life. Does God see in me a "Heart Like Jesus?"

Church Listen Telling the Truth Matters! If there is no truth, then nothing is accurate, nothing is real and nothing is trustworthy. Truth is under attack where it is being redefined into something that the Bible does not even recognize. We're now told to live your truth, but there's no such thing as your truth. There is one sure truth and His name is Jesus Christ, who stated, "there is no truth outside of Me and you cannot get to Heaven outside of Me". Know that around the world, there are churches who have succumbed to an emotionally based and people pleasing kind of preaching and truth has been sacrificed on the altar of respectability. Church darkness is intensifying, it’s the heartbeat of every perverse behavior prevalent in our society - it’s called “lack of truth, a war between good and evil”. Every day, we choose truth or we choose lies. The great question is why do Christians lie? If we have chosen to live by the Word of God, lying is not acceptable. We must make TRUTH a high priority in our life.

The comparison of today's America with Ancient Egypt is full of clear patterns and powerful insight. Remember, God does things in patterns, what has been will be again. Church, have we made much of an impact through the years on in our nation? Pastor Kennedy said, “God alone made America great but He can destroy her if she turns away from Him. As the Lord’s followers, we have great power to influence the world, instead of the world influencing us. “Salt” affects its environment by simply being what it is and light affects its environment by simply doing what it does. As His disciples, we must simply be an example of Jesus Christ - transformed, renewed, born again, and consistently radiating the goodness of God by the way we think, behave, and being His spokesman – ‘children of the Kingdom of God’ effecting and influencing the society around us. So as the “salt of the earth”, HOW do we stop bad things from forming and spreading and instead be an influencer of good things that are desirable and beneficial to society?

His Goodness knows no limit, no bounds, when we trust Him wholeheartedly. “Lord, we Thank You for what You did in the life of Paul, his writings and his experiences overflow with information and inspiration that each of us also need to be as sincere and devoted disciples. Holy Spirit invade our minds and hearts. Grant us revelation from Your Word to stay faithful in every situation knowing You will give us enough grace to deal with whatever is happening in our lives. In Jesus Name, Amen.” In the days in front of us, we are going face days when we give into fear, doubt, insecurity, uncertainty; and the enemy will make us think that God is too busy and does not know your name. This is a serious year so aggressively prepare yourselves to STAND against the fires of deception, racism, secularism, and humanism”. We are in an ‘election season’ that will generate great conflicts, disagreements, hostilities, even among the disciples of the Lord. Church, it's perfectly all right to have different opinions, but it's not all right that our opinions be more important than God's Word. Church it is imperative that we focus on Jesus Christ, open our hearts to hear what He is saying to us NOW, for we have been quiet too long. We must wake up and do what we can for the Kingdom of Almighty God and no longer roll over and just be a fence sitter. The world, our government, our politics are changing and it will demand that you make a decision to no longer be silent; “Take a Stand” for what is Right against the things that are happening in America TODAY; and NOT be swayed by political views that do not line up with the Word of God. Church do not abdicate your responsibilities to hold up a standard and be His ambassadors of Truth.

As it is written in 1 Corinthians chapters 8, 9, and 10: God's intent was that each generation would pass on their knowledge and experience to the next generation because those who do not learn from history, are doomed to repeat history. Don't forget what happened to our ancestors who had all of God’s Favor and yet they still grumbled!

As a thoughtful disciple, we must surely ask ourselves is this tree symbolic of me? Am I fruitless? Am I like the tree Jesus encountered that tree had a whole bunch of leaves, it looked good, but in reality, it had no fruit. Is it symbolic of my house? My church? Is it symbolic of America? The Fig tree, a tree that looked good but it was not producing what it was created to produce, fruit. We can do all kinds of things to look good, can't we? But the question from the Lord to each of us, are we allowing the Holy Spirit to produce the right type of fruits in our lives – the fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control – the nine character qualities that are absolutely desirable and necessary in our life? The Lord is saying it's time to lay down the hypocrisy. It's time to be real. Time is so short and if we are his Children we must bear His Fruit, NOW.

The spirit of deception has deployed demonic troops to harass, intimidate, destabilize, and destroy the warriors of the Living God, but it will not succeed if we stand firm in God’s Word and respect His boundaries. We need to wake up and walk in the authority and guidance of the Lord, be really truthful to God in His Word, not be an easy take by the world to compromise, not let satan fill our hearts with jealousy, and definitely not lie to the Holy Spirit. The question is are we really who we say we are, or are we just playing church? You are encouraged to listen with a heart towards repentance.

Paul says in Romans 12:1, “Therefore, I urge you brethren by the mercies of God to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship”. All true worship is essentially a matter of the Heart, an expression of our own greatest treasure, which is the gift of knowing the Lord and walking through life with Him. Worship is a way of life that is expressed inwardly toward Him and outwardly testifies of Him – so touched by Him that people we encounter should see Him in our lives. The question we all need to ask ourselves, “Is my worship only external and my heart dimension does not really lean internally towards Him, where you cry out, “had it not been for the Lord”? True worship involves every part of your spirit, soul and body! Maybe you are not aware that He wants to change and transform you, where its purpose is to put Him on display through the way you live, the way you conduct your life, so that others would be drawn to Him, by what they see in you. Again, the question is asked, “do YOU want to become more like Jesus”?

He did this not because we deserved it, but because this was His plan from before the beginning of time to show us His grace through Christ Jesus. The Lord’s priority is that we live a life that would bring someone to the kingdom of Almighty God – “it is not I who live but Christ who lives in me” – He wants us to Come Up Higher.

Church, the walk of victory is a challenge! A challenge because we have an enemy who is absolutely determined to steal, kill, and destroy our relationship with God through temptations and trials. Temptation is a fact of life and a force that all of us have to deal with. But the wonderful news of the Gospel is that there is ONE who has gone before us, faced every temptation that we will ever face, and conquered the enemy completely. Temptation in itself is not sin, it's an invitation to sin. The enemy wants to take as many people to hell as he possibly can. He is a cunning, adversary who will do whatever is necessary to derail us from walking in the victory that Jesus has provided for us. Church it is extremely important that we be wise about the way the devil works, so that you do not get caught up in any of his crazy schemes. We can walk in victory, we can refuse the temptations of the enemy, not in our own strength, but because of the One who saved us, redeemed us and who is constantly praying for us.

Church there is nothing more important than having a consistent obedient relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. There’s nothing more damaging to your walk with God than to fall into deception that only our good works will take us to Heaven. The question is “are you living in such a way that you know you will hear Him say “well done My good and faithful servant”?

Selah, a powerful word, that says, STOP, take a little pause for a minute for peace to come in, that everything's going to be all right, and hear “be still and know that I am God” no need to fear. Pastor Sandra Kennedy says, that when we give into fear, it robs God of the honor that’s due HIM! Yes, we can find and identify ourselves in the Book of Psalms. For example Psalm 46 was written right in the middle of great difficulties, the writer proclaims right up front that God Himself was his security and his safe place. We too, Church, can relate to all the unbelievable things that are happening in our country and around the world, and we too must understand that God alone is our only reliable protector and source of strength when hardships or crises come our way. The secret of maintaining our unshakable confidence in the Lord is knowing that He not only is near us but He will remain within us.

Immerse yourself in My Word, read it, meditate on it, live by it, and you will never have to fear as declared in Psalm 27. The Lord said, take heed to His warnings and arm yourselves for this is not a year to entertain distractions or follow after empty pursuits…this is a serious year. You must understand that God’s Jealousy is not negative as humans perceive – God’s Jealousy can be described as similar to a powerful and merciful King who takes a prostitute out of a life of shame, forgives her, marries her, does not give her the chores of a slave, but the privileges of a wife and that of being a queen. In the same way we all needed to be rescued from a life without the Lord – now rescued, forgiven, accepted, adopted, and brought into the body of Christ. Listen, Thank God, He was Jealous over us, with a jealousy that forgave, saved and adopted us into His Family.
