Though his career calling games for the Denver Nuggets earned him this award, Marlowe's career spans far beyond the sports media world. He captained the gold-medal winning USA Olympic Volleyball team in 1984 and acted in a variety of TV shows and Movies. Marlowe heads to the Olympics in Paris this summer to call beach volleyball under the Eiffel Tower.
