According to a new analysis, the Department of Homeland Security has illegally or otherwise wrongfully detained no fewer than 2,300 people in the last 6 months. This comes out to an average of a little more than 12 people being wrongfully detained each day of the second half of 2025. They have no idea what they're doing or who they are supposed to be apprehending - and the only thing worse than that is that they simply don't care. 

Donald Trump offered an absolutely insane, but kind of hilarious, excuse as to why he keeps falling asleep during cabinet meetings. Rather than admitting that he's up all night and just can't physically stay awake, the President decided to blame his bouts of narcolepsy on his cabinet officials. Trump said that these people are "boring as hell," and that's why he struggles to keep his eyes open during meetings - though he insisted that he's still paying attention and that closing his eyes is a "listening mechanism."

Multiple agents with ICE have been caught on video since the killing of Alex Pretti where they have threatened the lives of other protesters (which also happened after the death of Renee Good.) These men feel like they can do whatever they want to whomever they want, and they are letting everyone know that. Agents have also been caught following protesters to their homes and threatening them where they live. These people are pure evil, and there is no excuse for these Nazis to be on our streets or employed by the government.

The Winter Olympics are set to begin next week in Milan, Italy, and Donald Trump has already created massive problems by sending ICE agents to act as security during the event. Italian lawmakers, including the mayor of Milan, are furious that Trump has sent his "death squad" to their country, and they are speaking out. ICE has already created furor in Italy after threatening an Italian journalist who was covering the story of them even being in the country. The rest of the world sees the danger of these lunatics, so why can't more Americans see it?

A documentary about the life of Melania Trump is set to release this coming Friday, and it has somehow already managed to be a box office bomb BEFORE even being released. Users on social media are pointing out that tickets at their local theaters are all still available, meaning that no one seems willing to fork over money to watch the story of a wealthy, privileged, and callous woman as they struggle to afford basic necessities. The film creators REALLY failed to read the room on this one.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio revealed to New York Magazine who he avoids looking like a weak and pathetic coward when he's around Donald Trump. The solution to his problem is actually so much worse, because Rubio admitted that he wraps himself completely in a blanket and hides from Trump aboard Air Force One. Again, he does this so Trump doesn't think that he's weak, but there's nothing weaker than hiding from an elderly dementia patient. 

A judge in Minnesota has ordered the Trump administration to submit a clear and honest explanation to the court about why federal agents are crawling all over the state. Pam Bondi made it sound like the ICE invasion is because Minnesota is not giving in to her demands for the state's voting rolls, while others in the administration have suggested that it is because of the ongoing fraud investigation, and still others maintain that it is about roving gangs of Somali immigrants. The truth now has to come out, thanks to the judge's order. 

During his interview with New York Magazine that was published this week, Donald Trump blasted his own doctors for causing the public to discuss his failing health. Trump claimed that the only reason he had an MRI was because he was "right next to the machine" anyway, and his doctors thought that it might be fun to just do it. He and Karoline Leavitt then appeared to force one of his doctors to lie and say that he is healthier than Barack Obama ever was, and that statement alone should cost the doctor his medical license.

More and more Democrats in both the House and Senate are calling for Kristi Noem's impeachment following the second killing of a civilian by her ICE gestapo. But even before Saturday's killing, a majority of Americans were already disapproving of the job that she was doing, and that's according to THREE different polls released before Saturday. The public hates her, and that hatred is only going to get worse as she and her office continue to lie about the lives that they are destroying. 

Immediately following the killing of Alex Pretti on Saturday, a lawsuit was brought by officials in Minnesota who alleged that federal officers had already tampered with evidence from the crime scene. A federal judge appointed by Donald Trump himself immediately granted approval for a restraining order against the FBI, DOJ, and Homeland Security - and ALL of their employees - from in any way altering, manipulating, or mishandling evidence from Saturday's shooting. This is a massive step forward as it appears that even Trump's own judges have had about enough of this.

Republican Senator Ted Cruz is in hot water after audio of a recent talk he gave to wealthy investors leaked to the public. Cruz was caught on a hot mic tearing apart Donald Trump and JD Vance, saying that Trump dismissed his concerns that his tariff policies were going to get Republicans crushed in the midterms. Cruz talks a big game behind closed doors, but sings a very different tune when in public. 

A doctor and medical professor is speaking out about the White House physicians' decision to let Donald Trump and his glaring mental decline continue unabated. Dr. Bruce Davidson said that the doctors are doing the President (and the country) an incredible disservice by allowing his symptoms to become so blatantly obvious while visibly doing nothing to get the man the help that he desperately deserves. This was less of an attack on the president and more of a plea for help directed at the doctors that are ignoring the obvious.

Joe Rogan's turnaround from a Trump supporter to one of his biggest detractors has been quite a spectacle to behold, and Rogan apparently isn't done calling Trump out yet, either. In one of his latest episodes, Rogan blasted the administration for using everything possible - from Greenland to ICE - as a distraction from the fact that they have still not released the Epstein files more than a month after they were legally required to do so. 

Donald Trump has been calling up Democrats in the House and Senate and proposing multiple different avenues where they could all work together on certain economic issues to ease the burden on American citizens. This is a welcome change from his horrific attitude and statements about "evil" Democrats, but we probably shouldn't trust it. Trump is terrified about losing the midterms, and he thinks that by extending an olive branch after years of abuse will solve all of his problems. 

Like most other Americans, leading Republican strategist Karl Rove is confused by just about everything that Donald Trump is doing. But Rove took it a step further during a recent appearance on Fox News when he openly asked the question of whether or not Trump was actively TRYING to lose the midterms for Republicans. Trump has certainly done a lot of things just in 2026 to anger his Republican base, and Rove is struggling to find his motivation.

During a speech in Detroit this week, Donald Trump showed the crowd just how bad his dementia has gotten by claiming that the state of Michigan - which he WON - was actually rigged. He then clarified that his race was not rigged, but another candidate on the very same ballot had his race rigged somehow. Trump didn't get into specifics about how that works, but he insisted that it was true. This is something that happens in people with dementia, as they attempt to fill in gaps with lies that they create - and they firmly believe those lies, too.

Donald Trump is trying to bully Canada into ending their boycott of American alcohol, but so far all of his bullying has backfired. The country is not only NOT backing down, but a huge majority of Canadians actually support the boycotts. This is costing American producers millions and millions of dollars, with sales for some major alcohol brands falling by 60% in the first half of the fiscal year.

Donald Trump sent out the creepiest email that he's ever sent to his supporters this week, begging them for money. The begging part isn't what was weird - that's standard for politicians. The weird part was that he explained to readers that he was sitting "alone, in the dark, looking at a dying laptop" and apparently thinking of them. That's not the kind of email that anyone wants to get in the wee hours of the morning, but for some reason Trump's team thought it was a great idea. 

Donald Trump offered up a new, far more insane reason for why he "needs" Greenland to become part of the United States. He told The New York Times that he "needs" it because it is "psychologically important" for him. He also admitted that other presidents would probably see the situation differently, which appears to be an admission that there is no intelligence to back up his other claims about Russia and China trying to take it over. But now we're supposed to believe that he needs Greenland to act as his emotional support colony?

In an interview with The New York Times published this week, Donald Trump came out AGAINST the Civil Rights Act because, as he falsely claimed, it led to white people being treated "very badly." That never happened anywhere in the United States, and there was never any coordinated, state-sponsored "bad treatment" of white people. But Trump knows that he's in trouble with his base, so he's leaning back into the racism that made him their favorite candidate to begin with. 

The White House is furious over Kristi Noem's actions and they are now panicking because they fear she's ruined everything they've been working towards (which is to get rid of as many non-white people as they can.) Their racist agenda has been derailed over the killing of Renee Good and Noem's response to the shooting. Thousands of people took to the streets to protest ICE over the weekend, and that's not what the administration wanted to happen as they were already struggling to get the public on their side on the issue of immigration. 

Republican Senator Ted Cruz held a Senate hearing last week on a proposal he has to "hold rogue judges accountable." But Cruz, like many Republicans, didn't think about the future when he came up with his proposal, and analysts pointed out quickly that Democrats could use the same procedure to impeach Trump-appointed judge Aileen Cannon. No judge has made it more obvious that she doesn't care about the rule of law more than Cannon herself, and Cruz's proposal could be exactly what Democrats need to remove her for good.

The German government came out and condemned completely false statements made recently by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. The country was forced to remind people of the truth after Kennedy falsely claimed that German doctors were prosecuted for not administering Covid vaccines. The truth is that doctors were free to either give the vaccine or choose not to do so, and not a single person was punished for their decision. But Kennedy lies with impunity because that's all he can do to back up his quack claims.

Representatives Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie have been forced to ask a federal judge to step in and force Pam Bondi's Department of Justice to start complying with the law. Specifically, the law is the Epstein Files Transparency Act that requires Bondi to release all available Epstein files, and she has already blown past multiple deadlines without a care in the world. The judge, and Congress, have the option to sanction Bondi in many ways over her failures, the question is whether or not they will use the tools at their disposal to hold her accountable. 

Experts are worried that a recession is imminent at this point, and the dismal jobs report that was released on Friday has only exacerbated those fears. The report showed that December job gains were far less than expected, and they mostly happened in low wage sectors. To make things worse, the economy only added half a million jobs throughout ALL of 2025, making it one of the worst years in recent history. Trump is wrecking the economy and the job market, and everything is about to come crashing down.

The Trump administration is currently workshopping an idea to bribe citizens of Greenland with $100,000 a piece to join Donald Trump's side as he continues to push for a takeover of the territory. This sum is not only implausible considering the problems we have in the United States that could be solved with that money, but it is also incredibly insulting to residents to think that they would switch loyalty and be willing to be ruled by an authoritarian for such a small amount of money.

This probably doesn't come as a shock to anyone, but Donald Trump is not sane enough to remain in office, and his diminished mental capacity is exactly why we have the 25th Amendment. But people need to really stop and think about how insane his behavior truly is - the nonstop meltdowns, the manic mood swings, the inability to distinguish fantasy from reality - all of these are things that would get the average person booted from their jobs and possibly placed in a hospital.

The Trump administration has announced that they are employing the "Trump Corollary" or "Donroe Doctrine" to the longstanding Monroe Doctrine from the 1800's. This unofficial policy is what Trump is using to go in and overthrow the governments of South and Latin American countries as he pleases, and is a continuation of the "Roosevelt Corollary" to the original Monroe Doctrine. The man is so desperate to cement his legacy that he's named the worst foreign policy move in decades after himself just so people remember him. 

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell's campaign for governor in Minnesota is already off to a crazy start. He decided to kick things off late last week by going on Steve Bannon's podcast to talk about his platform, which consists of just putting all Democrats in jail and, of course, getting rid of all the voting machines that he can find. But it was the way that this lunatic delivered his platform that ended up making him come across as an escaped mental patient.

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham has always been one of the biggest war hawks in Washington, and now that he knows that Donald Trump is willing to just bomb other countries and depose their leaders, he has a wishlist of countries that he'd like to see targeted next. The first one on his list is China, followed by Russia, North Korea, and Iran. The man would gladly start World War III just for the fun of it, and he's hoping that Trump will grant his perverted wish.

While most of MAGA seems delighted that Donald Trump has overthrown a foreign government without provocation, there are still plenty in the movement that feel betrayed that he's started another conflict (and that he's bombed 8 separate countries in his first year in office.) They are also angry that he's ignoring Americans, in spite of his "America First" pledge throughout all of his campaigns. In other words, they are shocked to learn that everything this man has ever said to them was a lie.

In a truly bizarre appearance on Fox News recently, Kelly Loeffler, the head of the Small Business Administration, proudly proclaimed that Donald Trump will NOT ever pardon a criminal. She said this in reference to the alleged child care scam that happened in Minnesota, but that statement doesn't even apply to that situation. Furthermore, her comment is completely detached from reality, as Trump has pardoned closer to 2,000 criminals in his first year in office.

This week, Donald Trump vetoed a bipartisan bill that would have created a pipeline to deliver clean drinking water to more than 50,000 Colorado residents. This didn't sit well with longtime Trump ally Lauren Boebert - a representative from Colorado - and she tore into the President, accusing him of vetoing the pipeline out of anger over her insistence on releasing the Epstein Files. There are a couple other reasons this likely happened, but Boebert's vote on the files certainly played a role. 

During a segment on Newsmax this week, Kari Lake demanded that the Department of Justice go after Donald Trump's political enemies - as if they haven't been trying, and failing, at doing that for the past year. Lake went totally off the rails in the segment, reminding everyone that she might be the most mentally unstable member of the Trump administration, even though she remains one of the most irrelevant members of the administration. 

MAGA fanatics who forked out $500 for a tacky "Trump Phone" nearly a year ago are going to have to wait even longer for their garbage to arrive, as the Trump Organization announced that the phones were being delayed AGAIN. This isn't the first time that the company has failed to deliver at their promised deadline, as they have pushed back the release multiple times in just the last few months. There's a chance the phones never arrive at all, and MAGA will just have to come to terms with the fact that they keep falling for such obvious swindles.

Republican lawmakers know that 2026 is probably going to be a very bad year for them, and they have just one request of Donald Trump: Don't make it worse! Unfortunately, Trump isn't capable of doing that, and Republicans in Congress have now lost faith with Trump because they view him as far too "out of touch." It isn't just that he can't or won't work on economic issues, it is that he won't stop the stupid vanity projects that are angering the public while going out on tour and bragging about how great he is.

The Democratic Party ended 2025 with another massive victory in an area of the country that they typically can't win in. This particular win happened in an election in Iowa, where Democrat Renee Hardman pulled off a stunning victory to prevent Republicans in the state from having a supermajority in the Senate. This is more proof that the Trump Effect is real, and voters are turning against Trump and the Republican Party in ways we couldn't have expected a year ago.

Hundreds of victims of 2024's Hurricane Helene in North Carolina have been waiting for over a year to hear a word back from FEMA after applying for their hazard mitigation grant program that offers disaster victims the full pre-disaster value of their homes that were destroyed. And in spite of North Carolina sending more than 800 requests to FEMA 13 months ago, they haven't heard a word and not a single person's request has been approved. This all comes down on Kristi Noem and Donald Trump, who promised to "slash through every bureaucratic barrier" to make these peoples' lives whole again earlier this year.

During a press conference earlier this week, Donald Trump said that he's considering suing Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell for "incompetence." While that's not actually something that Trump can do, his threat alone is enough to send the economy into a tailspin - which could be catastrophic if Trump actually attempts to file such a lawsuit. Economists, bankers, and others on Wall Street have been warning for months that Trump's attacks on the Fed's independence threaten the entire economy, and now those fears could become reality.

Republican Representative Mike Johnson has been Speaker of the House for a little over two years, and Republicans in the House are beyond ready for him to be out of a job. Johnson has drawn the wrath of his fellow Republican lawmakers, who recently spoke about his many problems to The Atlantic, for being a "weak" and spineless leader who acts more like an extension of Donald Trump. The situation is so bad that some Republicans admit that they would much rather have Nancy Pelosi as Speaker because at least she was a competent leader. 

There are almost countless things from Donald Trump's first year back in office that Democrats need to investigate if they retake the House, and one of the most overlooked items is the "pardon mill" that his administration is running. New reports have confirmed that lobbyists are being paid and offered as much as $6 million from people who are seeking pardons, and the administration seems more than willing to listen to what the lobbyists have to say. Could there be some highly illegal kickbacks involved in all of this?

Harmeet Dhillon, Donald Trump's assistant Attorney General for the DOJ's civil rights division, went on an unhinged and profane tirade against MAGA influencers for criticizing the Trump administration. Dhillon seems to have completely lost her mind over the fact that the people who blindly supported Trump for years are not as willing to do so now, so she used a derogatory slur to attack all of them. This didn't sit well with the people she insulted, and is probably going to have the opposite effect of what she intended. 

A proposed piece of legislation in California would impose a moderate wealth tax on billionaires in the state, forcing them to pay 5% on their net worth over $1 billion. In other words, this is a tax on excessive wealth that billionaires can easily afford. But the tech executives in California are freaking out over it, and they've banded together and are openly plotting ways to remove powerful California Democrats like Ro Khanna. They are going to spend more money trying to buy elections than they would in taxes.

Overseeing record numbers of job losses is never something that a President wants to do, but Donald Trump actually seems to be enjoying it. He got on social media recently to BRAG about the record number of government jobs that he has cut since taking office, even though those job losses have helped exacerbate a growing problem of rising unemployment across the country. Republicans have zero empathy for the people whose lives are being ruined by these cuts, and that only makes the problem worse. 

According to multiple new polls, both domestic and international, Donald Trump is viewed by a majority of Americans and our closest allies as being weak, crazy, and a destabilizing force around the globe. These are not exactly the qualities that anyone - here or abroad - wants to see in the President of the United States, but that's where we are after nearly a year of having Trump back in office. The chances of things getting better are slim to none, so we can expect these already horrific numbers to fall even lower in the future. 

Donald Trump claims that filing for bankruptcy for his own personal businesses was a smart move (just like when he admitted not paying taxes,) but his penchant for causing bankruptcies is no longer limited to his own companies. Thanks to his trade war, bankruptcies for American businesses have now hit their highest levels in 15 years, putting us back at the levels we saw during the Great Recession. Businesses are closing their doors left and right, even as Republicans keep telling us that they care so deeply about small business owners. Those people are suffering, and Trump and his Republicans remain completely silent.

Staffers in the Trump administration don't have a shortage of excuses ready to go for Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem's bizarre behavior and nonstop costume play, but they are sick and tired of having to give them out. According to a new report, Trump officials are growing exhausted by Noem's behavior and they are ready for her to be gone from the administration. Reports have previously suggested that Trump wants Noem gone himself, and that she is looking for a way to exit before being fired. 

The planned bailout for American farmers was supposed to be Donald Trump's way of buying their loyalty for another election cycle, but these farmers have been through this song and dance far too many times now to fall for it. They are now speaking out about being used as "political pawns" by the man that they helped put back in office, and they are tired of being abused over and over again by him. And they aren't the only Trump supporters speaking out about his presidency.

The Republican-controlled House of Representatives broke a LOT of really bad records this year, the most obvious of which was presiding over the longest government shutdown in American history. But in addition to that grim milestone, this Congress also passed the fewest number of bills EVER, while also seeing a record number of members announce that they are retiring (most of them being Republicans.) This is officially the most "do-nothing Congress" in history.

Joe Rogan was absolutely ecstatic when Donald Trump won the 2024 election, as he had spent months trashing Joe Biden while promoting Trump. But just a year later things are completely different, and Rogan has apparently come to the realization that Trump is an unhinged lunatic who can't do anything right. On his podcast on Friday with guest Shane Gillis, Rogan tore into Trump about multiple recent issues that Trump brought upon himself, including his disgusting response to Rob Reiner's murder.

Kevin Hassett, the chief economic adviser to Donald Trump, panicked when questioned by CBS's Margaret Brennan about when Americans can expect to start receiving their $2,000 tariff rebate checks that Trump has repeatedly promised. Hassett tried to say that Congress has to do that because it is a budget issue, and then immediately pivoted away from the topic in order to distract the public from that rather shocking admission that proves that Trump is a total liar. 

Elise Stefanik is quitting. Cynthia Lummis is retiring. Marjorie Taylor Greene and several other House members have either already announced their retirements or their resignations. The Great Republican Resignation movement has officially begun, as many analysts had predicted. But to see such high profile members like Stefanik and Greene bail out was likely not on anyone's 2025 Bingo cards. 

Old man Trump tried his hand at another rally in a sleepy town last Friday, and things somehow went even worse than his previous rally in Pennsylvania the week before. Trump couldn't stay on topic for more than a few minutes, and went on so many wild tangents that no one could keep track of what he was even supposed to be talking about. At one point, he went into disturbing detail about how he "thinks" his wife cleans her underwear and organizes her underwear drawer. 

Donald Trump reportedly talked with infamous Epstein lawyer Alan Dershowitz about the possibility of serving a third term in office, something that Dershowitz has now written a book about, laying out the legal possibilities that could make it happen. Trump is clearly not just "joking" about a third term, as Susie Wiles said in her recent Vanity Fair issue. But just because he's not joking doesn't mean we should take it seriously.

A former manager at Donald Trump's Bedminster golf resort in New Jersey has filed a lawsuit against the club for wrongful termination, but the lawsuit has a lot more information than just being fired for things that weren't her fault. The manager details harassment, misogyny, discrimination, and the most disgusting kitchen details you could imagine. She claims in the suit that even Donald Trump himself was disgusted by the state of the club, which included "maggots", "mold", and a terrible "fly infestation."

Lindsey Halligan, the disqualified US Attorney that Trump installed to prosecute his political enemies, is still refusing to leave her office even after the courts told her that she doesn't have a job. That has to be embarrassing for her, especially since she can't even spell the word "Virginia" correctly. It was recently brought to the attention of a delighted internet that Halligan's signature included an embarrassing misspelling that left people shocked and laughing. 

Donald Trump is already planning on issuing preemptive pardons to members of his administration, according to sources inside the administration who recently spoke with reporters. This isn't shocking at all, but it does provide clear evidence that accountability is forever going to remain a stranger for the liars and cheats that Trump has packed into his cabinet (including himself.) 

Donald Trump's "economic" address to the country last week was so bad that it has left Republicans scrambling to figure out how to properly do damage control. Reports say that Republicans were sickened by the event and now they fear that they have even bigger problems on their hands than before Trump went on the air. He definitely didn't do anyone any favors with that address.

Donald Trump's top economic adviser, Kevin Hassett, admitted on live television that he (and other members of the administration) are only feeding Trump flattering numbers about the economy that make him feel better. In other words, they are giving him fake and incomplete data to paint a much rosier picture of the economy. This is incredibly dangerous for many reasons, the most obvious being that they can't fix problems that they are pretending don't even exist. 

The White House apparently thought that it would be a good idea to publish their list of "Naughty" reporters and news organizations all over social media and their own official website, but they quickly deleted the entire thing after massive public backlash. As many users on social media pointed out, this was nothing short of an authoritarian attempt to shame the media into submission, or perhaps even to put targets on their backs for MAGA fanatics to take aim at. Either way, this was an enemies list and the administration isn't trying to hide the fact that they have one ready to deploy. 

Republicans are running out of ideas to get Donald Trump to wake up to the economic disaster that he has single handedly caused for hundreds of millions of Americans, and so far they've had no luck getting him to focus on real problems. To make matters worse, Jerome Powell, Chairman of the Federal Reserve, admitted this week that the bulk of the inflation we're seeing right now is because of Donald Trump's tariffs. There is no escaping blame at this point.

The Trump administration finally got around to releasing the federal jobs data that they had been delaying for weeks on Tuesday, and there's a very obvious reason why they waited so long. The numbers are not just horrible - they are actually the worst we've seen in four years, meaning that Trump's economy in ONE YEAR is already worse than anything we saw under President Biden. Jobs numbers for previous months were also ALL revised downward, showing major job losses for three of the past six months. 

Elon Musk has decided to break his promises to both stay out of politics and to start his own political party, and he is now pledging to give truckloads of money to conservative candidates in next year's midterm races. Elon clearly didn't learn his lessons from this year about how much he is universally despised, and he seems to think that enough time has passed to make everyone forget about what a wretched piece of trash he is.

Donald Trump's own fanbase was left sickened and shocked by his comments on Monday about the death of Rob Reiner and his wife. Trump claimed that Reiner was a sick individual suffering from "Trump Derangement Syndrome" and went on to repeatedly attack the actor and director. Trump's hardcore fans couldn't stand it, and they didn't hold back in calling out the man that they love for such a disgusting response.

Marjorie Taylor Greene hasn't been shy about bashing her own Party as she prepares to leave Congress for good early next month, but reports say that she's also got one more trick up her sleeve before she exits. Though Greene denies it, reports say that she is trying to oust House Speaker Mike Johnson before she leaves as one final giant middle finger to her Party. She doesn't need that many votes to do it, either. 

The Trump administration is trying to play the victim in a court filing while trying to deny rights to people with hearing impairment. The administration argued in court that providing a sign language interpreter for Donald Trump's speeches and addresses is somehow a hindrance, and that it prevents him from being himself. That makes absolutely no sense and has no basis in reality, but the fact that this administration is fighting to take away such a basic necessity for people with disabilities is another new low for them. 

The National Trust For Historic Preservation has filed a massive lawsuit against Donald Trump over his tacky, gilded ballroom that he's building after bulldozing the East Wing of The White House. The lawsuit argues that all construction on federal lands is supposed to be approved by Congress, which this project obviously was not. The lawsuit lists out plenty of other violations that Trump allegedly committed as he forced this project into motion, and he stands a good chance of not being able to finish it if the lawsuit is successful.

Donald Trump and his administration seem to be hellbent on making "regime change" happen in Venezuela, and that will likely mean a US invasion of the country. He claims that this is due to the drugs coming from Venezuela to the United States, but that's the most flimsy excuse possible. The real reason is much simpler, and it is the Number 1 reason that wars have started throughout human existence - Venezuela has something that Donald Trump desperately wants so that he can profit from it.

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick had a mini meltdown during a recent appearance on CNBC while trying to convince the American public that they are overreacting to the dramatic price increases we've seen this year. Lutnick nearly yelled "nothing bad is happening!" at the audience watching back home, showing how desperate this administration is to convince us that reality is not actually reality.

Recently unemployed former Trump lawyer Alina Habba had a meltdown on Friday after another Trump appointee abruptly withdrew her name to become a US Attorney. Habba proclaimed that "this can't keep happening" and accused Democrats in the Senate of undermining the authority of the Executive Branch. But the reality is that Trump is putting up horrible people that have no business being in positions of power, and everyone in Washington is starting to realize that. 

There has not been a single poll in recent months that has given Republicans a reason to celebrate or even be slightly optimistic, and the election results of this year have been even more depressing for the GOP. In spite of this, Republicans have no clear message or strategy as we head into a midterm election year, and pollsters are now warning that Republicans aren't fooling anyone by claiming that things aren't as bad as they seem (which is Trump's message to voters, too.)

Donald Trump had a full blown freakout over his horrible poll numbers late last week, and he decided to attack the voters instead of changing how he behaves. Trump made it seem like voters are simply too stupid to understand that he's doing a fantastic job and (according to him) that they aren't actually paying the higher prices that they are paying. These attacks on the people who are sick of him are certainly NOT going to help his lagging poll numbers.

Donald Trump doesn't plan on taking responsibility for any of the bad things that he's done since taking office, and instead he's going to continue blaming all of his problems on President Biden. Aides have reportedly been begging him to stop doing this, but their pleas are falling on deaf ears. Trump's ego, narcissism, and possible dementia all prevent him from being able to own up to the fact that he's not good at this job, so he'll keep trying to convince a skeptic public that everything he does is somehow Biden's fault. 

Democratic Illinois Governor JB Pritzker signed a bill into law this week that makes it easier for Illinois residents to sue federal agents - including ICE - if their rights have been violated. This is a groundbreaking law that will protect the citizens of Pritzker's state, while also sticking it to the Trump administration and their unlawful actions. This is what real leadership looks like, and Democrats across the country need to be taking notes on what Pritzker is doing. 

Republicans in Washington are panicking as the cost of health insurance is set to rise in January, and after 15 years of promising us that they'd release their healthcare alternative to Obamacare at any given moment, they still have nothing to show for it. But this week they unveiled their "concepts of a plan", and what they're proposing to do is actually going to INCREASE the cost of healthcare for millions of people, mostly lower-income Americans. 

Earlier this month, Donald Trump signed an order declaring that certain files related to the Capitol Riot were covered by executive privilege and could not be viewed by anyone outside of the administration. This information came out in a court filing this week, where DOJ lawyers told the courts that they can't release the documents that were requested by a group of police officers who are suing after being injured in the riot. Trump is hiding the truth from the public, just like he is doing with the Epstein files and Jack Smith's final report. 

The Department of Homeland Security under the guidance of Donald Trump has instituted a new policy where they are charging people a $5,000 "apprehension fee" for being caught by ICE. This penalty is on top of all of the other usual fines and penalties that migrants can be hit with, except with one important difference: The new policy applies to children as young as 14-years old, too. They are charging children thousands of dollars for being rounded up by Trump's gestapo forces.

As Americans are cutting back on their grocery purchases due to the skyrocketing cost of food, the First Lady of the United States is hawking luxury handbags through her social media accounts. The purses cost thousands of dollars a piece, and Melania Trump didn't think that it was in poor taste to not only try to sell them, but to do so while Americans are blaming her husband for the rising costs of everything. This is the ultimate "failure to read the room" moment.

Donald Trump has been trying to get late night comedian Jimmy Kimmel off the air for years, and he almost succeeded a few months ago. Unfortunately for Trump, the viewers made it clear that they want Kimmel to stick around for a while, and Disney/ABC rewarded Kimmel with a contract extension this week, guaranteeing that he'll be on the air for the rest of the time that Trump is in office. That has to sting for Trump, as he sees his influence waning across the board.

The Trump administration has an evil new plan for more immigration raids ahead of the holidays - and they're using Trump's promise to migrants to trick them into getting themselves deported. The plan involves putting hordes of ICE agents at the border in order to catch people who are VOLUNTARILY leaving the country to go visit their families for the holidays. This means that anyone who takes up Trump's offer of $1,000 to "self-deport" would be swept up in these raids and lose out on the promised money. 

During one of the most bizarre interviews that Donald Trump has ever given, he claimed that his fix for healthcare will "work like magic." His so-called fix is literally just doing the same thing that is being done right now, but somehow he said things are just going to magically be fixed. This is coming from the leader of the Party that has been promising a healthcare plan alternative to Obamacare for a decade and a half, and now we have to trust them to use "magic" to fix the problem? 

Donald Trump is allowing (and encouraging) his administration to commit war crimes in order to (allegedly) stop the flow of drugs into the United States. He's even preparing to launch a war in Venezuela over drug dealers. But the reality is that no one is flooding the streets with more dealers than Trump is, as he has pardoned or granted clemency to over 100 people charged with drug crimes since retaking office in January. Trump talks a big game, but the reality is that no one is allowing more criminals to roam our streets than he is.

Donald Trump is terrified that the Supreme Court is going to take away his power to enact tariffs on any country for any reason, so he came out boasting that he'll just enact tariffs a different, albeit more complicated, way in the future. This was Trump's attempt to get the court to just let him do what he wants to do because he's going to do it no matter what, and it was painfully obvious that this was the point he was trying to make. 

The Supreme Court on Monday began hearing arguments in the case of Trump v. Slaughter, which is a case that conservative lawyers have been waiting for a long time to get settled. If the courts side in the conservatives' favor, which is the likely outcome, it would hand Trump the power to fire anyone and everyone that he wants within the executive branch of the government without cause or reason. This would give Trump complete control over every aspect of the executive branch, increasing his power in ways that could reshape the government for a generation. 

A leaked Department of Justice memo obtained by journalist Ken Klippenstein has revealed that Pam Bondi's DOJ is compiling lists of people that they claim are part of "domestic terrorist" groups, but in reality they are just people, organizations, and groups that are against the Trump agenda. Things that could get average people on these lists include expressing disdain for the administration's immigration raids, calling out the hypocrisy of the Religious Right, or even just expressing discontent with our capitalist economy. These are just a few of the new items that constitute "thought crimes" in modern day America.

According to sources from the Department of Homeland Security, the sense around the agency is that Kristi Noem is going to be fired "really soon," as Trump has seemingly lost all patience with her. This comes as a bit of a surprise, considering the fact that Noem has been the public face of ICE since taking over DHS, and her raids have made headline news since the beginning. But Trump is reportedly not happy about the low deportation numbers, and loyalty can't overcome a lack of results. 

Young voters were shockingly supportive of Donald Trump in the election and through the first few months he was in office, but the tide has turned in a short amount of time and they now overwhelmingly reject him. According to the latest polling data, Trump went from having a 10-point net approval rating from voters aged 18 to 30, but now he is 47 points UNDERWATER with that age group. This makes up one of the largest demographics in the country, and if they have soured on Trump and the Republicans then next year's elections might already be settled.

The Trump administration has awarded a multi-million dollar government contract to a company that Donald Trump, Jr. invested heavily in earlier this year. This is so much worse than anything Hunter Biden was accused of doing, yet not a single Republican lawmaker has gone on record expressing outrage over the blatant corruption and abuse of power taking place between Trump and his kids. 

Kristi Noem's Department of Homeland Security lowered their standards for ICE agents earlier this year - along with reducing training times - in order to meet Donald Trump's demands for immigration raids. A new investigation has found that the people the agency is hiring are less than stellar, featuring many with horrific criminal records and even gang ties. This was the most predictable thing that has happened so far this year.

More stories are emerging about how Republicans in Washington, D.C. are growing increasingly tired of the "daily humiliations" of the Trump administration, and a Republican insider says that he knows exactly when Republicans are going to turn against Trump in a massive wave. That moment will come when we hit the "filing deadlines" next year, according to the insider, because Republicans will know who is running against them in the primaries and who is NOT. This will give them an enormous amount of freedom to finally break away from Trump,.

According to a new poll of Donald Trump's own supporters, more of them say that they do NOT want him to serve a third term in office than say that they DO want him for an additional four years. While the number who still want a third term is way too high, the fact that after one year most of his own supporters are ready to be done says a lot about what has happened. And it also blows a major hole in the talking points (and merch) from Trump and his allies who insist he'll be back again.

A family in Colombia has filed a murder complaint against Pete Hegseth after the father of the family was killed in one of the Trump administration's drone attacks on boats in the Caribbean. The complaint was filed with the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, and it could have serious ramifications for Hegseth and other members of the administration if the Commission chooses to go forward with actual criminal charges. This could be the first step in a lengthy process that could eventually rope in the International Criminal Court.

Donald Trump continues to rant on and on about his recent cognitive exam, bragging that he "aced it" and that they were "really tough" questions. The exam is actually NOT difficult for people who aren't suffering from any neurological conditions, and one of the sections is just to identify the names of common animals. The President is clearly not well in any way, but he's especially unwell in terms of his cognitive health. 

Attorney General Pam Bondi is not giving up on her attempts to prosecute Donald Trump's political enemies, even if that means breaking the law to do it. The statute of limitations has now expired for James Comey, meaning that he cannot be indicted again for allegedly lying to Congress. Nevertheless, new reports say that Bondi is desperately trying to find a workaround so that she can fulfill Trump's dreams of seeing the people he hates the most locked away.

Pop star Sabrina Carpenter struck a blow against the Trump administration this week, and they aren't happy about it. Carpenter called out the administration for their use of one of her songs in a video showing an ICE raid, blasting the administration as "evil" and "inhumane." The White House immediately tried to clap back, but their insult was as pathetic as possible. Trump seems to have a knack for picking fights (and losing them) with popular female musicians, likely stemming from his gross misogyny.

There is little doubt among legal experts that Pete Hegseth violated the law with the strikes that he has authorized against bombing survivors. But that doesn't matter at all - Hegseth will never be held accountable in the United States because Donald Trump will just pardon him and anyone else in the administration accused of breaking the law. This actually gives cabinet members an incentive to violate the law instead of having to follow it, and until the pardon power is stripped from the President, this cycle could continue indefinitely.

According to new reports, Donald Trump instructed the crews working on his new White House ballroom to IGNORE all codes and laws that they are required to follow for any construction project. This new information comes just weeks after Trump fired the entire board of the Commission on Fine Arts that gets to make final determinations on projects involving historic landmarks and properties. Trump is going to half-ass the project to the point where the next President will have little choice but to tear it down.

Donald Trump's lies about the economy - and his plans to fix it - are so ridiculous that even Republican lawmakers aren't buying into it anymore. Between his denials that anything is wrong, Trump has suggested "fixes" for the things he says aren't broken that include checks totaling thousands of dollars for every American and 50-year mortgages that would cause people to spend triple what they normally would on a home while locking them into debt for their entire lives. These plans are not only dumb, they are dangerous, and Republicans aren't happy with what's coming from Trump. 

Everything in Donald Trump's life is falling apart right now. From his cabinet to his approval rating to the economy and even his businesses - nothing is going well for him. To make things worse, more and more cracks are beginning to form in his Republican coalition as they attack one another, and him, over everything. Things could not be going worse for the President and his Party.

Donald Trump has been hit with a lawsuit from a group of plaintiffs alleging that he ran a trafficking operation that they describe as "identical" to that of Jeffrey Epstein. The lawsuit also says that Elon Musk and Bill Gates were a part of it, too. While this certainly sounds like an enormous bombshell, the truth is likely far less interesting - There is nothing in the suit that even comes close to being believable, and this lawsuit could end up helping Trump rather than hurting him.

Multiple Republican insiders and strategists spoke to The Hill this week, warning that their party was about to suffer a massive series of losses in 2026, which will culminate in the midterm elections. They said that the growing discontent of the American voters is going to be taken out on the incumbent Party, and there's not a whole lot that they can do to stop this from happening.

Republican Representative Troy Nehls became the latest Republican in the House to announce that he would be resigning at the end of his current term. This is exactly what we predicted was going to start happening just a week ago, and now it appears that the dominoes are beginning to fall. Republicans do not want to be associated with Trump's failing policies and the expected midterm massacre that's going to take place next November, so they'd rather tuck their tails and run away than stand up against Trump for their constituents. 

Photos of Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago over the weekend sparked even more speculation that his health is declining faster than we realize. The photos showed a slumped Trump with no color whatsoever on his face or hands, with a facial expression that looked like he was ready to keel over at any given moment. In order to combat the negative publicity, Roger Stone posted a photo of himself with Trump in the Oval Office, claiming that this old photo proves Trump is totally not declining. 

Donald Trump snapped at multiple female reporters aboard Air Force One this past weekend, just days after he called a female reporter "stupid" and only a week after he told another "quiet, Piggy." Trump has always had a problem with women who are not subservient to him, but something has definitely changed during this second term. His animosity towards strong, intelligent women has gone off the charts, and that could be due to his personal feelings of weakness or possibly even his declining mental health (which can lead to rude, angry outbursts as the sufferer becomes frustrated with themselves.)

Donald Trump has made billions of dollars this year, with most of that coming from his crypto firm. But the rug is being pulled out from beneath him, and all of his brands are now losing massive amounts of money as consumers across the globe intentionally try to steer clear of his name. Even Melania Trump's meme coin has plummeted in value, losing more than 99% since its release. The whole Trump empire is nothing more than a flimsily built house of cards that is one breeze away from crashing to earth.

Reuters managed to contact many of the people that have been targeted, and they sorted them out into different categories to help people understand just how vicious this administration is being with people whom they perceive to be their "enemies."

JD Vance has not been in politics for a long time, and that time might be cut even shorter as polls show that his lead over Republican rivals for the 2028 nomination is shrinking fast. Vance's political career might be over before he can actually be in charge of anything, and he'll be relegated to the "profiles in insignificance" chapter of history books. Republicans love to say that Democrats have no leaders, but the reality is that there is no one in line to take the reins of the GOP in the near future.

Libraries across the state of Tennessee have begun shutting down as a new Republican order is forcing them to perform massive reviews of their books to align with the Republican-backed book ban in the state. Never in human history have the people that have banned books been the good guys, but that hasn't stopped Republican voters and politicians from thinking that they are the heroes of this story. They will be viewed as some of the biggest villains of our era.

CNN recently spoke with several different people who voted for Donald Trump - many of them having voted for him in 3 separate elections - and they were not happy AT ALL with what has happened to this country since he took over. The main issue they have is with the economy, which they correctly say has gotten so much worse since he took over. All of the other things Trump has done are a mixed bag with voters, but that's only because they don't fully understand how it all connects to the economy. 

Recently, a columnist with the Chicago Sun Times wrote about how Donald Trump's fragile ego is to blame for his attacks on the 6 Democratic lawmakers that put out the video reminding troops that they have a duty to disobey unlawful orders. That's absolutely correct, but it really only scratches the surface of ALL of the problems that we're facing in this country. Nearly every problem that Trump has caused is due to his massively fragile ego - from his troop deployments on American soil to his attempted prosecutions of his political enemies to his trade policies.

The mother of Karoline Leavitt's nephew has been arrested by ICE. Leavitt's brother said that the 11-year old son that he has with Bruna Ferreria lives with him and his wife full time, but that she still had a relationship with the child up until her arrest and subsequent detainment several weeks ago. Karoline Leavitt has been a vocal supporter of her boss's immigration raids, and never once did she mention that her own nephew could be at risk of losing his mother. 

Donald Trump had another major meltdown this week after The New York Times reported on his failing health, specifically calling out the fact that the man can't seem to stay awake during events. Trump got on Truth Social and went completely berserk, attacking the Times while also including a litany of lies about how great everything is in this country because of his actions. The man is not only chronically fatigued, but also clearly suffering from delusions of grandeur.

An appeals court ruled this week that both Donald Trump and Alina Habba had to pay the $1 million in penalties that were imposed upon them by a lower court for filing a knowingly frivolous lawsuit following Trump's 2020 election loss. The lawsuit that was originally filed was against Hillary Clinton and James Comey (among others) for allegedly concocting the Russiagate scandal, and the courts summarily dismissed the case as having no merit and for being completely frivolous. Habba and Trump were subsequently fined, and the appeals court says that they now have to pay up.

The Republican Party, due to Donald Trump, has just received the worst polling news that they could receive with less than a year to go before a critical midterm election cycle. The new poll shows that Latino voters are overwhelmingly turning against the Party and Trump, just one year after they voted for the GOP in record numbers (48%.) This turn signals severe trouble for the Republican, and is so bad that some experts are now saying that the chances of Democrats flipping the Senate have gone way up. 

Donald Trump loves to tell us that the economy is doing better than ever, and that any parts that aren't doing great are totally Joe Biden's fault. But a new poll shows that a huge majority of voters aren't buying those lies at all, and they are squarely blaming Trump for the economic pain that they are suffering from. To make matters worse, only 20% of Trump's own Republican Party believe that the economy is doing well, proving that even his Party isn't buying the BS that he's selling. 

For months now, Pam Bondi's DOJ has been plagued with mass resignations of longtime employees and lawyers, and those former DOJ workers are now speaking out about the damage that Bondi and Donald Trump have done to the agency. Some say that the wreckage is so bad that it may actually be "irreversible". The recent ruling from a federal judge about Lindsey Halligan's "unlawful" appointment is only going to lead to more resignations as employee

Donald Trump has decided to follow through on his administration's promise from several months ago about NOT releasing economic reports to the public. Several months ago, the Trump administration said that it was because the data was being "manipulated" by Democratic plants, but now they're trying to blame it all on the government shutdown. The truth is much more simple: The data is devastating and Donald Trump doesn't want to suffer the humiliation of being the worst president on economic issues since George W. Bush. 

According to the polling information available, Donald Trump is now more unpopular than at any other point in his two terms in office. But if you step back even further than that, the picture is far more grim. Donald Trump's disapproval rating of 63% (from a recent CNN poll) makes him the LEAST LIKED president since Richard Nixon, and Nixon wasn't truly despised until the Watergate scandal. Since a vast majority of the population is under the age of 50, this means that most of us have never seen a president as despised as Trump.

Donald Trump and his administration were all set to reveal their "totally not fictional" healthcare plan on Monday, but decided at the last minute to not do it. Instead, the entire country is bracing for major health insurance premium spikes in a month, and we're being ruled by a group of people who refuse to do anything about the healthcare crisis that impacts every one of us. 

While they may present an undeserved arrogance to the public, behind the scenes the Republicans in the House and Senate are freaking out about the fact that they are poised to be "wiped out" in next year's midterm elections. A few still seem to believe that they can turn things around in the next 11 months, but most are firmly convinced that next year's elections are going to put the "Blue Wave" of 2018 to shame - and polling already suggests that this is the most likely scenario.

A very confused Donald Trump reposted a tweet calling for his own impeachment, from an account aptly named "Impeach Trump A 3rd Time." Trump thought that the post was demanding an investigation into Democratic Senator Mark Kelly for reminding troops that they can defy illegal orders, and he blasted it out to millions of his equally-diminished followers. Trump's mental capabilities seem to be getting worse by the day, and the media is still pretending that none of this is happening. 

Marjorie Taylor Greene still has a little over a month before she's officially out of Congress, but Jasmine Crockett wasn't going to pass up the chance to let Greene have it one last time before she leaves Washington. During an appearance on CNN, Crockett mocked Greene for not being able to "take the heat" after being on the opposite side of Trump for only about a week - compared to those like Crockett who have been fighting back against him for years. She's got a great point about resilience.

We may not even have to wait until the midterms for Democrats to regain control of the House of Representatives, as one Republican insider says that the recent shock resignation of Marjorie Taylor Greene is only the beginning. The insider says that Republicans are "tired of being treated like garbage" by Donald Trump and would rather resign than face the massive losses that they are looking at (based on the latest polling data) in next year's midterm elections. The rats are abandoning the sinking ship.

After the federal courts struck down Texas' grotesquely gerrymandered new district maps last week, the Republican Party is now in a position where they might actually LOSE seats in next year's elections. The purpose behind the gerrymander was not just to take away seats from Democrats, but to shore up areas that were starting to see an ideological shift from red to blue. The gerrymandered maps could still come back, however, as Texas AG Ken Paxton has announced that he's asking the Supreme Court to save them. 

According to union officials, only 7% of the air traffic controllers in the country are going to be receiving the $10,000 bonus that Donald Trump promised them for working every day during the longest government shutdown in history. This 7% number is far lower than the total number of employees that had perfect attendance, so it wasn't immediately clear why some may get it while others have already been ruled out. 

Donald Trump is coming off the worst 10-day period for his poll numbers that he's ever experienced, according to the polling experts. The drops that he's seen are so intense that the experts described them as "shocking." Nevertheless, the President is so detached from reality that he got on Truth Social and bragged about having the highest poll numbers that he's ever received, which is the exact opposite of what happened. The man is so mentally unwell that he's not even living anywhere close to reality anymore.

US Attorneys in several Northeastern states have confirmed that the Trump administration is planning massive raids on non-English-speaking churches during the holiday season in order to round up as many people as possible. This is one of the most diabolical moves this administration has made, and it goes against everything that these phony right wing evangelicals claim to believe in. 

The release of the Epstein files is inching closer after both the House and Senate voted this week to force a release of the entirety of the files. But that doesn't mean we'll actually see everything. According to Jeffrey Epstein's brother, Republicans in the Trump administration have been actively scrubbing the names of Republicans from the files in order to prevent any scrutiny - and perhaps avert any potential legal or political problems that Republicans could encounter upon release. 

The recent Nick Fuentes scandal has blown up MAGA, with some believing that it was perfectly normal for Tucker Carlson to interview Fuentes, while others understand that this is a horrible look for the Republican Party. The situation has gotten so bad that even Laura Loomer has come out and admitted that the GOP seems to have a very real, and growing, Nazi problem. But Fuentes is a symptom of a larger disease that has been festering inside the Republican Party for decades.

Multiple judges that were appointed by Donald Trump himself gave the president and the Republican Party a lot of grief this week after smacking down lawsuits and policies that Republicans were depending on. The first humiliation happened when a Trump-appointed judge struck down his defamation lawsuit against CNN, but the biggest defeat were the conservative judges who threw out Texas' recently gerrymandered new district maps that were supposed to cement the Republicans' majority in Texas for a decade.

Donald Trump has decided to try out his "sales pitch" for American voters on how he can help their economic struggles, and it isn't one that's going to leave anyone feeling better about their finances. At the McDonald's Impact Summit this week, Trump talked about affordability but only by saying that voters were "lucky" that he won the election instead of Kamala Harris. He then tried to pin all of the economic pain being felt today on Biden and Harris, something that voters are not buying for a second.

Two months ago the media was tripping over itself to tell us that the Left is overly violent and vicious, and that we needed to tone down the rhetoric (even though statistics proved the exact opposite.) Those same media outlets are completely silent right now as Donald Trump's rabid base threatens the life of Marjorie Taylor Greene following a weekend of Trump calling her a "traitor" and other inflammatory names. Greene is garbage, there's no question about that, but the MAGA lunatics that are threatening her are even worse.

The Trump administration is now testing out a new talking point for Americans who are struggling to afford basic necessities: Blame immigrants. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent launched the new talking point this week during an appearance on Fox News, where he falsely claimed that some of the high prices we're seeing right now are because of immigrants. The truth is that Trump's tariffs are the main driver of higher prices, and the LACK of migrant labor is also driving prices even higher than usual. 

Donald Trump made a shocking admission to reporters recently, saying that he had "no idea" why his doctors made him undergo an MRI. The obvious conclusion based on Trump's statement is that he's absolutely lying and he knows EXACTLY what they were looking for. But if we take his statement at face value then we have to assume that he's suffering from serious health problems that could be so bad that his doctors are afraid to tell him what's happening. There's also a third possibility that actually makes even more sense.

Donald Trump is so desperate to distract everyone from the barrage of Epstein files being released that he's resorting to things that can only be described as comical. At the end of last week, he demanded that Pam Bondi start investigating Bill Clinton and several other prominent figures that are believed to have ties to Epstein, and Bondi immediately complied. But he's not fooling anyone, and his distraction efforts aren't doing anything to stop him from being completely consumed by this scandal. 

After roughly a year of being in complete limbo with odds increasing that it was going to die forever, the prosecution of Donald Trump in the state of Georgia is back on. A new prosecutor has agreed to take up the case after Fani Willis was removed and no other prosecutor was willing to take on such a daunting task. While the prosecution itself likely won't happen while Donald Trump is still in office, the fact that the case has effectively been revived is absolutely a positive development.

Donald Trump's mental health has taken a turn for the worse, and that's not good for a man whose sanity and mental abilities were already questionable. But he has been hit with the perfect storm of problems in the month of November, and he doesn't know how to handle a single one of them. All he can do is get on Truth Social and scream into the void about how unfair everything is and how all of his problems are somehow just "hoaxes" being created by the Democratic Party. 

Donald Trump recently held a private dinner with some of the biggest CEOs in the country, and those who attended told reporters that Trump was basically asking them how to be president. Specifically, he was asking for advice on the issue of "affordability," even though he proclaimed on social media just days later that "affordability is a joke." The man has absolutely no idea what he's doing or how to be a leader, and his plea to business leaders is just further proof of that.

Attorney General Pam Bondi got absolutely trashed by the judge overseeing the joint motions from James Comey and Letitia James last week as they seek to challenge the placement of Lindsey Halligan as the US Attorney in Virginia. Bondi had told the judge via filings that the indictments are valid no matter what because Bondi herself looked over the grand jury transcripts before Halligan even got the job. However, the judge pointed out that this was an obvious lie because the transcripts didn't exist at that point in time. Bondi is in MAJOR trouble.

Trump-supporting pastor Joel Webbon called upon Donald Trump last week to start rounding up his political enemies and throwing them in prison. Webbon made it clear that "sternly worded tweets" weren't going to cut it, and that he needed to go after politicians, judges, and possibly even average citizens who dare to stand to Trump. This is a form of psychosis that really should be labeled "Trump Derangement Syndrome," and it is not a normal way for a human being to think.

According to a new analysis, inflation under Donald Trump has grown so much that the average family is spending an extra $700 per month on basic necessities. This comes as Trump continues to tell Americans that inflation isn't happening and that it is all a big hoax by the Democrats. American families are suffering, and the one person who can fix the problem is refusing to acknowledge that the problem even exists.

Pam Bondi's Department of Justice was forced to admit to a federal judge this week that they made a major mistake - but they swear that they won't do it again. The mistake - which they have made in multiple different prosecutions - is that they blabbed about the case on social media and demonized the defendant, thereby tainting the entire potential jury pool. This particular case involves a prosecution that began under Alina Habba in New Jersey after she indicted a sitting lawmaker on bogus charges. 

During his disastrous appearance on Laura Ingraham's Fox News program this week, Donald Trump claimed that "no one knows what a magnet is." He didn't say that no one knows how they work - he literally said no one knows what they ARE. This brings us to the latest edition of "If Biden had done this," because the media would have been calling for Joe's immediate resignation if he ever said anything even remotely as insane as this. But Trump, as usual, gets a free pass from the media and therefore the public to continue to show off his dementia. 

In spite of the staggering number of problems that the President of the United States should be dealing with, Donald Trump sent his lawyers to the Supreme Court this week to file a motion asking them to overturn the verdict against him from the first defamation lawsuit from E. Jean Carroll. That particular verdict has already been upheld by two appellate courts, but that isn't stopping Trump from asking his good friends on the Supreme Court to step in and save him from the mess he created for himself.

With the federal government set to reopen, House Speaker Mike Johnson was left with no choice but to swear in recently-elected Democrat Adelita Grivalja. With that happening, the vote on the discharge petition to get the Epstein files released is now imminent. According to reports, there is a sense of panic about this among Republicans, including The White House, as they know that there is nothing they can do to stop it - though Trump has been desperately trying to distract people from it. 

While Americans are struggling to afford food, Donald Trump's administration has been secretly handing out major tax breaks totaling hundreds of billions of dollars to the wealthiest companies and industries in the country. These tax cuts go above and beyond what was included in the "One Big Beautiful Bill," and they are being directed by multi-millionaire Scott Bessent and his Treasury Department. 

Donald Trump's own Treasury Secretary, Scott Bessent, appears to be actively trying to sabotage the President from inside the administration. In the past few days, Bessent has publicly contradicted several major proclamations from Trump, saying that they either won't happen or the ideas that he has simply don't exist. But Bessent's comments aren't getting the same level of coverage as Trump's bold proclamations, so most people don't even know that his own administration is telling us that none of this is real.

Donald Trump issued a series of sweeping pardons on Sunday to his scumbag friends that worked to overturn the results of the 2020 election. While most people were angry about this move, the real reaction we should have is one of pure joy. The pardons only cover the federal crimes they allegedly committed, and those investigations died a long time ago. The rest of the charges these people are facing are state-level, and if they accept a pardon they can lose their 5th Amendment rights, according to the Supreme Court. This was actually a very stupid move for Trump.

The Trump administration announced their absolutely insane plan to have people start taking out 50-year mortgages in order to get more people to buy homes. This plan has been blasted by economists and analysts from both sides of the aisle who recognize that it is an economic disaster waiting to happen. The proposal will prevent homeowners from building equity, and will also be a longer drain on their credit, preventing them from being able to make other big-ticket purchases. 

After years of calling President Biden "Sleepy Joe," karma has come back to bite Donald Trump in a big way. The current President is struggling to stay awake during press conferences and other events, and the entire country got to witness this first hand on multiple occasions in the last week. The man's mental and physical health is rapidly deteriorating, and in spite of what we can all see, the White House insists that he's the healthiest and most energetic person who has ever lived.

Donald Trump's cognitive decline might be even worse than we thought. New photos from The White House have revealed that the administration installed a new, gold-lettered sign indicating where the Oval Office is located, which many believe is to remind Trump how to actually get to work. This isn't just part of the ongoing renovations, as the sign is just printed on poster paper, so clearly it isn't meant to be a permanent fixture.

As millions of Americans were worried about food security because her father was delaying the release of SNAP funds, Ivanka Trump was on social media promoting her new, for-profit food company that she co-founded. The Internet immediately lit up with people calling out her "tone deaf" sales pitch as Americans go hungry and struggle to afford basic grocery necessities. The timing for Ivanka really could not be worse.

Not long after the horrific jobs report showing that the economy shed more than 100,000 jobs last month and layoffs have hit recession-levels, another report came out showing that Donald Trump has caused America to cross another grim economic milestone: Household debt is now at an all-time high. After increasing by nearly $200 BILLION in the last quarter, total household debt across the country now tops $18 TRILLION. And with prices increasing on everything, that number is expected to continue to rise at a record pace.

A very panicked Steve Bannon begged Donald Trump this week to do everything in his power to overturn the massive electoral victories that Democrats achieved on Tuesday. Bannon is urging Trump to use the Department of Justice to challenge election results, in spite of the fact that there's zero evidence that anything out of the ordinary happened. Bannon was so cocky a week ago when he claimed Trump would serve a third term, but a healthy dose of reality has turned him into a whiny baby. 

Kristi Noem's Department of Homeland Security decided to mock a woman who wrote an op-ed for USA Today over the fact that her husband - who is in the country LEGALLY - has been detained for weeks by ICE. Noem's department falsely claims that the man, a British journalist, was supporting terrorist organizations, even though they have failed to provide a shred of evidence to support this claim. The agency is in the business of cruelty, and we all need to realize that they are pure evil. 

This week's electoral losses for the Republican Party appear to have been a wake up call to many members of the GOP - including those INSIDE Trump's administration. According to a new report, this "the emperor has no clothes" moment could cause some of Trump's most trusted insiders to turn against him, or at the very least start providing a little more pushback against his insane plans and goals.

Karoline Leavitt became visibly flustered and resorted to her usual lies when she was asked a question about Donald Trump's clearly failing health this week. The question specifically asked why Trump had an MRI and why the White House hasn't given a reason for it, and Leavitt claimed that even Trump didn't know why it happened, but she claimed that he's absolutely doing great. If any of this is true, then it is proof that his health is far worse than anyone thought.

An adviser to Donald Trump told Axios this week that the President is prepared to make the lives of Republicans "a living hell" if they don't do what he's demanding of them, which is to eliminate the filibuster. But after this week's election results, Republicans are going to be even less likely to get rid of the legislative tool, as it is more likely to hurt them in the future. But Trumps' threat is real, and we know that because he's already made everybody else's lives a living hell.

A 63-year old Donald Trump voter who recently retired to take care of her 26-year old daughter told NBC News this week that she desperately regrets supporting Trump after she lost her SNAP benefits. More and more MAGA voters seem to be coming around and realizing that Trump doesn't care if they live or die, and the stories of people abandoning the MAGA movement are becoming more frequent than Republicans want to acknowledge.

Donald Trump keeps insisting that he has "handled" inflation and that prices for consumers are going down, but reality shows the exact opposite happening. The situation has gotten so bad that even his own administration can't lie about it anymore, and the Treasury Department admitted publicly this week that inflation is remaining "above target." That's a fancy way to say that Trump is failing at everything having to do with economics (and everything NOT involving economics.) 

The Trump administration is in the process of actively training American military personnel for a ground invasion of Mexico. The administration claims that they are going to be going after the cartels, but that's a flimsy pretext for launching a war against our neighboring country. This administration is absolutely pushing the limits of what is tolerable for the American public, and invading our closest geographical ally is likely not going to be the polling boom that Trump believes it will be. 

Transportation Secretary and former reality show contestant Sean Duffy threw an absolute temper tantrum this week and threatened to shut down ALL of the airspace over America. This little twit who knows nothing about his job is angry over the ongoing government shutdown, and he wants to take out his rage on Americans who wish to travel this holiday season. This would not only hurt peoples' travel plans, it would also create a massive economic slump that could be the catalyst that launches a full blown recession.

Americans are going without their SNAP benefits this week, meaning that millions of adults and children might not have food this week as the government shutdown drags on. But instead of helping those in need, the Trump administration has decided to invest money in creating a spoof MySpace website to mock Democrats. THIS is how they choose to spend their time as the people who put them in power struggle to put food on the table. This should be in every single attack ad from now until the 2028 presidential elections.

CBS did for Trump what Trump claimed the network did for Vice President Kamala Harris. Donald Trump's 60 Minutes interview that aired on Sunday evening was highly edited to cut out some of his more insane rants and claims, making the president appear far more coherent and rational than he actually is. This is EXACTLY what Trump sued the network for and he got millions of dollars from them in the process. Democrats need to follow suit and set an example that they won't let this go unpunished. 

We have heard Republican politicians tell us for decades that the federal government is bad and that the individual states should handle everything from education to disaster relief because they were better equipped for that. All of these "the states do it better" talking points were lies, and we're watching those lies unravel in real time as most states admit that they can't handle the burden of people going hungry as SNAP benefits dry up. The states are begging for help because they aren't equipped to do much of anything on their own.

In a little-noticed talk with reporters last week, Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. admitted that he DOES NOT have "sufficient evidence" to back up his claim from September that Tylenol is linked to increased rates of autism. This is a massive departure from the grand press briefing he held with Donald Trump where Trump repeatedly yelled "DON'T TAKE TYLENOL." And the new claim from Kennedy came just one day after the Texas Attorney General announced they were suing the makers of Tylenol based on Kennedy's initial claims. 

FBI Director Kash Patel was busted recently by a right wing critic of his for using the FBI's private jet to travel out of state to go watch his VERY young girlfriend perform at a country music festival. The worst part, aside from the disturbing age difference between Patel and his girlfriend, is that this isn't even the first time this year that he's used the agency's $60 million plane for a date night - it's not even the second time he's done it this year! 

A mass purge of people who could tell Donald Trump "no" is underway throughout the federal government in ways that most people don't even realize. From leadership at Homeland Security, to the Department of Defense, to the Department of Justice, and even the Commission of Fine Arts, Trump is getting rid of anyone who might stand in the way of his grand plans. This is exceptionally dangerous for the country, and things are only going to get worse as he replaces people who had consciences with spineless yes men.

 While talking with reporters aboard Air Force One this week, Donald Trump appeared to threaten to send ANY branch of the military that he chooses into US cities to police American citizens. This is obviously NOT allowed, as using the military for law enforcement is expressly forbidden by US law, but the President doesn't seem to know or care about the rules of this country. The man is becoming increasingly lawless and unhinged, and that is always a devastating combination.

At Pam Bondi's Department of Justice, embracing reality is now a fireable offense. Bondi this week suspended at least 2 prosecutors that we know of because they mentioned in a legal filing that a "mob of violent protesters" stormed the Capitol on January 6th, 2021. That is an indisputable fact, but facts have no place inside the Trump administration. The links that they are going to in order to deny reality are truly breathtaking.

Republican Senator Ted Cruz is not happy about Marjorie Taylor Greene calling out Republican Senators (and with her siding with Democrats on a few key issues,) and he's now urging his entire Party to ignore her. Greene has shockingly been making a little bit of sense recently, and that appears to be driving the rest of the Party crazy. But Cruz is not as loud and prevalent as he once was, and Greene's microphone is much larger these days.

A federal judge this week trashed Attorney General Pam Bondi and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem for repeatedly making false claims about a high profile defendant, in spite of the fact that they had already been ordered to stop. The defendant in question is Kilmar Abrego Garcia, and the administration is now attempting to deport him to Africa, but their rationale has repeatedly fallen through under the lightest scrutiny.

The dating scene can be tough, and for conservative women in the very liberal city of Washington, D.C., it can be an absolute nightmare. The Washington Post caught up with some Republican women who are navigating the DC dating scene, and they didn't have any kind words to share about the MAGA men they've been introduced to. According to one woman - who happens to be a Congressional staffer on the Hill - MAGA men are simply not masculine enough to make her feel secure. That's a tough blow to a group of men that are already suffering from low self-esteem.

Donald Trump is full of complaints. In fact, it is rare to find anything that actually brings him joy, other than when he lies about how great he is. But the President shared a meme this week thanking himself for "working like a dog" for "no money" for "ungrateful people" who don't appreciate his sacrifices. The man has already made BILLIONS of dollars this year alone off his crypto scams and deals with foreign governments, so anyone saying that he's working for "no money" is too stupid to talk about anything. 

Earlier this week, Farron compared to voter fraud as being as nonexistent as Bigfoot. That comment didn't sit well with some of our viewers, and they decided to let Farron know that Bigfoot is, in fact, very real. Farron addresses this major scandal surrounding the existence of the legendary cryptid.

Several members of the National Guard are refusing to obey Donald Trump's clearly illegal orders to descend upon the city of Chicago. While the numbers are small - literally just two people - it is a sign that cracks are forming in the military and that we have people who know that their duty is to the Constitution - not a fake-tanned dictator in training. A single act of defiance can cause an avalanche of resistance, and that's what this moment is calling for right now. 

Voters in deep red Iowa helped lead Trump to victory in 2024, but they aren't suffering from any delusions about who is to blame for the current state of the US economy. These MAGA voters say that the cause of their economic pain is coming from Trump himself, and they aren't happy about it. While their struggles are never good, the fact that they aren't buying into the White House propaganda is certainly a positive development.

With the government shutdown still going on, benefits for SNAP recipients could dry up starting next week. There is a contingency fund that allows the benefits to keep flowing when funding is gone, but the Trump administration is refusing to use those funds because they want people to suffer and to blame Democrats for that suffering. Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson is also working to convince the public that Democrats are to blame for the lack of SNAP funding, but the facts are crystal clear about who is really holding up those benefits.

Health experts and doctors are sounding the alarms after Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.'s latest anti-health medical guidance. The Secretary of Health and  Human Services updated the nation's dietary guidelines and called for us to consume MORE saturated fats, in spite of the increased consumption leading to more heart disease and cardiovascular problems. The man who had part of his brain eaten by a worm seems to be actively trying to kill us as quickly as possible.

The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals overturned a ruling by a 3-member panel of their court after it was brought to their attention that the federal government LIED to the panel in order to get a favorable verdict. The case involved the administration's attempt to federalize the Oregon National Guard in order to send them to Portland, and the administration had told the court that they had to deploy 25% of the nation's Federal Protective Service officers to the city in order to protect federal buildings. It turns out that the number was a complete fabrication, but that number was used to get a favorable ruling from the judicial panel. 

Donald Trump admitted to reporters recently that he isn't concerned about the legality of his drone strikes on boats in the Caribbean and now the Pacific, and instead just says that they're going to keep killing people. Trump's language was actually even far more blunt about how he wants these people to die. To make matters worse, an official with the administration has now admitted that most of these boats didn't even have the capacity to make it to the United States. But that fact isn't stopping Pete Hegseth from deploying an aircraft carrier to carry out more strikes on more potentially-innocent civilians.

Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin of Virginia declared a state of emergency last week for the sole purpose of trying to blame Democrats for the ongoing government shutdown. In his announcement, Youngkin managed to squeeze in the word "Democrat" in every sentence, except for the sentence where he was heaping praise on Donald Trump. Republicans are getting desperate in their attempts to pin this on the Democrats, but the public isn't buying it at all.

The FBI has been forced to retract their denial that no children were ziptied during a recent immigration raid in Idaho. After reporters confronted the agency with photographs of actual children being ziptied and hauled away like livestock by FBI agents, the agency then amended their statement to say that no "young" children received this treatment. We are dealing with an administration of monsters, and the zipties weren't even the worst thing to happen to the people during this raid. 

If we view everything that Donald Trump does as symptoms, then there is little doubt that the man is suffering from dementia. That is the non-diagnostic opinion of Psychologist Dr. John Gartner, who recently went through the list of Trump's biggest "gaffes" of the last few months and explained how each one can be linked to dementia. Dr. Gartner has been sounding the alarm bells about Trump's mental health since his first term, and says that the psychological issues can exacerbate the neurological symptoms.

Donald Trump was humiliated by Canada after a group in their country ran an ad featuring Ronald Reagan's address where he warned against using tariffs, so of course Trump is increasing the tariffs on goods from Canada in response. He still seems to think that tariffs are paid by the country they are imposed on, instead of being paid by American consumers in the form of tax hikes. But we will all be paying more in taxes now just because Trump got mad at his TV.

Donald Trump may be the biggest headline maker for his insane lies, but he's not the only member of the Republican Party capable of twisting reality on its head. This week, Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson showed just how callous and delusional he can be when he downplayed the threats against Hakeem Jeffries life by saying that the No Kings protesters (and "violence" from the Left in general) are far worse. This has been repeatedly disproven by the actual data, but facts have no place in today's Republican Party.

Melania Trump is having one of the worst weeks ever after being hit with a billion dollar lawsuit, as well as watching as the creators of her 'meme coin' get hit with a massive fraud lawsuit. The First Lady has been noticeably quiet throughout the second term of her husband, and the few times she's popped into the public spotlight have been a disaster. But these lawsuits show that her husband is not the only one in the family that engages in intimidation tactics and deceptive practices.

Donald Trump thinks that his own supporters are stupid, and he said as much during a tirade on Truth Social this week. While he was specifically talking about the cattle ranchers that have been angered by his recent moves with Argentina, he repeatedly said that they just don't "understand" what he's doing, which is the most polite way ever that Trump has ever said that a group of people are stupid. But make no mistake - that is exactly what Trump means.

During an appearance on Steve Bannon's podcast this week, Mike Lindell, the self-described "broke" founder of MyPillow, teased a potential run for public office. While going on an Islamaphobic rant about the state of Minnesota, Lindell teased a potential run for governor against incumbent Tim Walz, who is one of the most-liked governors in the country. Lindell has no chance of winning, but a political campaign can raise a lot of money for someone that is in need of cash.

Donald Trump was hit with a rather humorous new lawsuit (though it 100% has merit) this week over his "big beautiful bill." One of the provisions of the bill is that asylum seekers are now required to pay the government $100 to come into the country, but in their haste to write and pass the bill, nobody bothered to set up a system to even receive these payments. The administration now has to go to court to explain why they are such complete failures at EVERYTHING - unless it was all part of an evil scheme to prevent any asylum seekers in the first place. They will either be exposed as idiots or monsters.

Donald Trump's political prosecution of New York Attorney General Letitia James is basically over at this point, after a legal analyst pointed out a massive flaw in US Attorney Lindsey Halligan's charging documents. It turns out that the very thing they indicted James for (misusing a mortgage loan for a rental property) was EXPLICITLY ALLOWED in her loan documents. In other words - James is being charged for doing something that the bank told her she was allowed to do. This is effectively "case dismissed."

Donald Trump made a lot of people from across the political spectrum angry last week when he commuted the sentence of fraudster and former Republican Congressman George Santos, wiping out years of his prison sentence as well as the restitution that he owed his victims. But justice has a funny way of coming back to bite you. Santos can still face charges at the state level, and the District Attorney in Nassau County teased that charges could be on the way against Santos very soon.

In an interview that was published this week, Marjorie Taylor Greene admitted that Republicans are going to lose the midterms next year, and the thought of actually gaining any seats is now a distant memory. Greene is continuing her assault on her own Party, but her hatred of her own side aside, she actually has a good point that is rooted in all of the available data - an unusual coincidence for her.

ICE was gifted an additional $170 billion from the "One Big Beautiful Bill" this summer, and they have already gone on a massive spending spree. The spending is mainly focused on weapons, but they aren't just settling for routine cop gear - The agency has gone all out buying military weapons that include "guided missile warheads." ICE is not supposed to be attacking anyone, as their job is to apprehend and detain, but they are clearly aiming to become an extension of Donald Trump's domestic warfare. 

Alina Habba is still fighting to keep her job as the temporary US Attorney for New Jersey, and the courts in New Jersey heard her appeal on Monday. There is a lot riding on her success or failure with this case because it could determine whether all of Trump's political prosecutions get immediately thrown out. The prosecutor in Virginia, Lindsey Halligan, is serving under the same circumstances as Habba - so if Habba can't prosecute then neither can Halligan. 

It was only a month ago that nearly every conservative pundit and politician was sounding the alarm about the so-called violent and hateful rhetoric from the Left. But they clearly have forgotten how much they hate the meanness, because Karoline Leavitt recently decided to go full fascist during an attack on every Democrat in the country. This is reminiscent of Hillary Clinton's "deplorable" line, which caused conservatives to collectively wet themselves for years after it happened.

Calls for the 25th Amendment to remove Donald Trump are growing louder as his mental health continues to decline — and as he increasingly behaves like a wannabe dictator, sending the military against his own people. Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker has called for it. So have multiple Democratic members of Congress. But there’s just one problem: the 25th Amendment can only be invoked by Trump’s own Cabinet and Vice President — and that’s never going to happen.

Dr. Phil McGraw decided to end his popular daytime talk show a few years ago so that he could launch his own media company that went full MAGA. It didn't work out well for him, as the company had to file for bankruptcy this summer after laying off tons of employees. But that's just the beginning of the problems that Dr. Phil has faced since trying to become the new voice of conservative politics, as his latest business venture is also facing hard times after only existing for a few months. 

Cheryl Hines, mediocre actress and current wife of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., went on The View this week where she was finally asked to explain the brain worm that her husband brought up - unprovoked - on the campaign trail last year. Hines insisted that the worm only "ate a little bit" of her husband's brain before dying, making the statement as if it were the most natural thing in the world to admit.

Thousands of text messages have been obtained by Politico showing the disgusting group chats happening between leaders of Young Republican groups across the country. The messages are filled with racist comments and slurs, adoration for Adolph Hitler, and even fantasies about assault and murder and torture. These young people are clearly deeply disturbed and need mental health services immediately, but they instead found a home in today's Republican Party and they were shaping up to be the next generation of leaders of the GOP. 

Time Magazine ran a litany of articles in their latest issue this week praising Donald Trump for things he probably shouldn't even be getting credit for. But in spite of the praise, he still took issue with the magazine and had a meltdown over the cover photo that they used. Trump whined on social media that it made it look like his hair had "disappeared" and how much he never liked photos from that angle. But what's really upsetting Trump is that he realized that he actually looks like that.

While surrounded by leaders from across the globe in Egypt on Monday celebrating a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas, Donald Trump decided that this would be the perfect time to publicly humiliate the Prime Minister of Italy. But unlike usual, he didn't do it by insulting her - he did it by getting overly creepy with his compliments of her. He talked about how beautiful she is and even admitted that he shouldn't be saying that. The worst part is that this isn't even the first time he's done this with her - or the second. 

The deadline for media outlets to sign onto Pete Hegseth's new, First Amendment-violating press requirements hit this week, and most media outlets surprisingly refused to sign on. What's even more shocking than learning that some outlets still have remnants of a spine is that even pro-Trump MAGA media outlets are also refusing to give in to these demands. Newsmax announced that they would not be signing the agreement, putting their credentials at risk along with the rest of the media. This is a small stand, but it is one that should be celebrated.

Donald Trump's political prosecution of James Comey is off to a much worse start than expected, as the judge overseeing the case has already dealt a fairly crushing blow to the prosecutors. Prosecutors had requested that the deadline for turning over their discovery (evidence) be extended to give them more time, but the judge absolutely refused to do it, suggesting that if they had the evidence they claim to have then it should already be ready to go. Donald Trump showed off his dementia once again this past weekend when he declared on Truth Social that "Biden" placed 274 FBI agents in the crowd during the Capitol Riot, alleging that the former President implanted these agents to instigate a riot. The only problem, obviously, is that Trump himself was president on that day, and Biden had absolutely no control over the FBI at the time. To complicate things further for Trump, his own FBI Director, Kash Patel, debunked this conspiracy a month ago. 

The Trump administration has effectively killed special education (ESE) funding for the United States by firing every member of the office of special education at the Department of Education. Education Secretary and former wrestling magnate Linda McMahon said that she wants the entire thing shut down so that the states can run their ESE programs on their own - without any federal assistance. This is a disaster waiting to happen, and the backlash from teachers and their unions has already begun. 

Trump's Department of Labor quietly made a rather shocking announcement recently about how Trump's immigration policies, raids, and mass deportations are ruining your life. The Department pointed out that there is now a massive labor shortage in the agriculture sector, and there aren't enough Americans willing to take those jobs. Add all this up and you end up with a massive spike in food prices in the United States due to the increased cost of getting food from farm to table - along with the scarcity created by the loss of crop yields. Those are the warnings coming from Trump's own government.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem is facing major public and corporate backlash after her latest stunt. The Department put out a meme video set to the theme of Pokemon and they also used the catchphrase of the popular game by captioning the video with "Gotta catch 'em all!" The company came out and said they had nothing to do with the video and that the department did NOT have permission to use their copyrighted materials. Members of the public are calling on the company to sue Noem and her department over the stunt, but that may be the least problematic thing about the video.

Donald Trump's immigration policies have been a complete and total disaster. Economically, morally, and politically speaking, his immigration raids and deportation quotas are not working at all, with the public turning against him. And now insiders in the administration have found a scapegoat for all of the failures we've seen: Corey Lewandowski. Lewandowski has been the alleged mastermind behind the deportation and detainment plans, and now that things are falling apart, the administration is letting him take the fall for all of it. 

History seems to be repeating itself with the Trump administration using the same lies and shoddy legal justification to strike alleged cartel boats in the ocean - the same way that the Bush administration justified their invasion of Iraq. The targets may be different, but the tactics remain the same. And now the administration's secret war memo has been leaked, revealing the legally dubious ways that they have justified blowing boats out of the water, in spite of the fact that it is clearly a violation of international law. 

Speculation about Donald Trump's health continues to get worse for him, and he's not helping the situation by repeatedly talking about wanting to get into heaven. Trump repeated his claim recently, and then also made a shocking admission: People, including himself, have "no reason to be good," other than to get into heaven. This is an absolutely disgusting statement to make that tells us everything we need to know about Trump's own moral compass.

White House officials were forced to admit this week that Donald Trump made a MASSIVE mistake by sending out his Truth Social post to Pam Bondi last month where he demanded that she go after his political enemies. The White House confirmed that this post was actually supposed to be a private message to Bondi, but the damage is already done. That public post is going to be used in every single trial that comes about from Bondi's actions from now until she leaves office, and it's going to get a lot, if not all, of the prosecutions thrown out. 

Lauren Boebert has officially launched her campaign for reelection, and she did it in the most Boebert way possible: By sending out a campaign email asking "Are Aliens real?" While there are plenty of people that want answers to that question as well as what the government knows about the issue, it is hardly a kitchen table issue for the vast majority of American families. Boebert is trying to distract people from the fact that Republicans are complete failures at governing.

According to the members of the House who are trying to force a vote on the release of the Epstein files, the Republican coalition that is standing in the way is falling apart, and they are about to revolt against Donald Trump. This information came from Democrat Eric Swalwell and Republican Thomas Massie, and it shows that Republicans are feeling heat for not allowing the files to go public. This whole mess could come to an end soon, as Mike Johnson cannot continue to hold things up forever. 

Attorney General Pam Bondi was hauled in front of a Senate committee hearing this week, and she bombed harder than anyone could have predicted. It was so bad that even Republican senators were bashing her. But the humiliation didn't end when the hearing ended because a photographer was able to capture her handwritten notes that she brought into the meeting, and they were the most pathetic talking points possible. She even had to write down her insults in advance so she wouldn't forget them!

During an interview with Chris Cuomo on News Nation this week, Eric Trump went absolutely ballistic when Cuomo asked about the hypocrisy of Donald Trump weaponizing the federal government to go after his political enemies after spending years falsely accusing the Biden administration of doing that. Eric lost his mind when this was pointed out, and started yelling about all of the alleged offenses that Biden committed - with these examples being either exaggerated, fabricated, or happening long before Biden even ran for president. 

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell announced this week that he is completely broke and can't afford to appeal a judge's recent ruling that found him liable for defamation against voting company Smartmatic. Lindell said that if he doesn't appeal it within 22 days, it'll go to a jury trial to determine the damages. The only problem, according to Lindell, is that he's completely broke, and now he's promising to go door-to-door to beg for money in order to get the cash to pay his lawyers. 

Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez came up with the perfect way to demoralize MAGA men, and it might be the most simple thing that a person can do: Laugh at them. She said this was particularly effective against Trump ghoul Stephen Miller, who was forced to watch her make fun of him on an episode of Laura Ingraham's Fox News show this week. Miller could barely muster a response, and Ingraham was slurring so much it was difficult to tell what she was saying, so it looks like AOC's method definitely worked. 

The official Twitter account of the Oregon Republican Party was busted using fake photographs to claim that Portland is under siege by the Left and that Trump's deployment of the National Guard was necessary. The only problem is that the pictures weren't from Portland, or from the US, or even from this year. Some of the pictures were nearly 20 years old and featured riot police in South America - obviously not modern-day Portland. The Oregon GOP deleted the post after being called out, but the damage has already been done.

Believe it or not, Marjorie Taylor Greene actually came up with a good idea that she promoted on Facebook the other day, calling for all social media influencers to reveal who they receive funding from. She likened it to the fact that politicians have to say who paid for their advertisements and approved them, and social media influencers should have to do the same. Again, not a bad idea, but it still doesn't go far enough. If social media influencers have to reveal who funds them, then politicians like Greene should be required to do the same.

Local police officers in Chicago are furious after a group of incompetent ICE agents ended up tear gassing them while confronting protesters (who also should not have been tear gassed.) This is not the first incident where police officers have been gassed by ICE, according to the sheriff, and the mistakes that these federal agents are making are putting everyone's lives at risk.

Donald Trump had a meltdown this week after Fox News host Peter Doocy spoke with Democratic Senator Mark Kelly about the government shutdown, and Kelly was able to explain that the shutdown is about providing healthcare to Americans. Trump lost his mind at this truth bomb (which completely blew up his narrative about the shutdown) and he took to Truth Social to air all of his usual grievances against the conservative network somehow being "so bad for Republicans" by allowing a truth to slip out. 

Donald Trump put out a video from the Oval Office this week where he told young people that they "owe" him because he's the one who "saved" TikTok. This type of loyalty demand is absolutely unAmerican, but most importantly, it completely ignores the facts of what actually happened. Trump may have prevented TikTok from going offline, but he's already pledged to turn it into a right wing propaganda outlet owned by two of the biggest purveyors of misinformation on the planet - who happen to be rabid conservatives.

Top Trump advisor Stephen Miller went off the rails this past weekend after a judge temporarily blocked Donald Trump from activating the Oregon national guard. Miller claimed that the judges who are ruling against Trump are launching a "legal insurrection," a message clearly designed to put judges in the crosshairs of MAGA activists. And it may have worked, as just hours later a judge that had ruled against the administration in a privacy case had her house burned to the ground. 

Kristi Noem went crying to Fox News over the weekend to complain about the fact that the federal ICE raids taking place in Chicago are not going well because people in the city are being too mean to her gestapo. Noem literally whined that agents aren't allowed to use restrooms at private businesses and that they are feeling unwelcome when they try to order lunches. Noem did this to the agency, so the blame lies squarely with her.

Pete Hegseth admitted during a brief chat with reporters that Donald Trump recently called him into the Oval Office to yell at him for "not getting the job done." While Hegseth didn't specify what that "job" is, it is clear that he's telling us that Trump screamed at him for being a complete failure. This explains why Hegseth has been so visible recently, most notably with his lackluster pep rally for military generals who left questioning the sanity of the Secretary of Defense and the President. 

Survivors of Jeffrey Epstein are heading back to the Capitol on Wednesday to hold a press to demand that Congress (Republicans) release the Epstein files that they have been shielding from the public for far too long. Republicans in Congress, led by Speaker Mike Johnson, have intentionally delayed the swearing in of a recently-elected Democrat in order to avoid a vote on releasing the files, and even Trump supporters are starting to question the motives of these Republican leaders.

Veterans groups were outraged late last week when a 70-year-old Air Force veteran was knocked to the ground by ICE agents then surrounded and arrested on the spot. Video of the incident appears to show that the man's only crime was yelling at ICE to "go away." This is what life is like with Donald Trump's gestapo roaming the streets of America, waiting for the slightest provocation to lock up American citizens. These are not patriots - they are masked thugs terrorizing American citizens. 

Anyone celebrating the fact that TikTok has not been shut down in the US might want to take a minute to realize what's about to happen. The platform is going to be sold to the king of right wing propaganda, Rupert Murdoch, along with co-ownership by one of Donald Trump's billionaire buddies that also just purchased another major media outlet. And if there is still any doubt in your mind, there's the fact that while signing the executive order, Trump admitted he was going to turn the outlet into a propaganda machine for him and his administration. 

American farmers overwhelmingly supported Donald Trump in 2024, and they've also been the hardest hit by his policies - on top of being the most vocal about how bad his policies have been for them. Trump has heard their cries for help, and now he's going to try to buy their loyalty like he did in 2018, 2019, and 2020 by offering up $10 billion in bailout funds to pay off these angry voters. This is our tax money going to a group of people that were harmed by their own actions, and something about that doesn't sit right. 

Karoline Leavitt certainly isn't living up to those Christian ideals that she pretends to hold dear. During a Fox News appearance last week, Leavitt said that the administration is "absolutely" targeting funding for Democratic states during the government shutdown, and if Democrats don't want their voters to suffer, then they should do whatever Trump wants them to do. This is extortion at its finest, and proof that we do not need to feel any empathy for the Trump voters that are also suffering under his policies.

Multiple sources confirmed to The Washington Post that Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth are planning to force THOUSANDS of Pentagon employees to take polygraph tests so that they can try to find out who keeps leaking information. The irony, of course, is that all of their schemes to find leakers have been leaked to the press before they can even happen. Polygraph tests are unreliable to the point where they aren't even admissible in court, and the testing so far hasn't stopped any of the leaks or found any leakers. 

The Trump administration has ordered furloughed federal employees to set up "out of office" reply emails on their accounts during the government shutdown, and employees have been ORDERED to blame Democrats for the shutdown in their email messages. Staffers at multiple government agencies were given word-for-word scripts that they are to use, blaming Democrats in the Senate for the shutdown, even as Republicans control every single branch of the government. But polls already show the public is blaming Republicans for the shutdown.

Two weeks ago, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. had the highest approval rating of any official in the Trump administration, sitting at a pathetic NEGATIVE four points. That was obviously still really bad, but still better than other officials in the administration. After his recent antics, however, he now has the LOWEST approval rating of any cabinet official. He managed to destroy his entire public image (the little bit that he had) in less than two weeks, and that is nothing short of amazing. 

Donald Trump had another major, unhinged meltdown on Truth Social on Thursday morning as he claimed that it was the Democrats who had gone "stone cold crazy." The man is completely off his rocker at this point, and all of his attacks on other people's sanity and intelligence is the most transparent projection we've ever seen.

Donald Trump is launching a new, official government website called TrumpRx for Americans to apply for discounts on prescription drugs. This move is part of a deal with drug company Pfizer to give Americans better prices on pharmaceuticals. The deal is actually not that bad, but the fact that you have to type in Trump's name just to get to a website that then redirects you to the actual website is beyond disgusting. Not to mention the fact that Americans won't be saving much, as drug prices have gone up significantly since Trump took office, and consumers will just be getting the "old" prices they were paying a year or two ago, if they are lucky. 

A federal judge appointed by Ronald Reagan has absolutely annihilated Donald Trump and several members of his cabinet in a scathing, 161-page ruling. The ruling from the judge blasts the administration for trying to suppress Freedom of Speech, for allowing ICE agents to terrorize citizens behind the protection of a face mask, and the blatant disregard for the entire justice system. The judge also decided to include several of the threats that MAGA freaks sent to him in the ruling, just to further show how Americans are threatening judges that don't play nice with Trump. 

Republican Senator Ted Cruz made what might be the biggest mistake/gaffe that a human being can make. During a Senate hearing this week, Cruz proudly proclaimed that Republicans and Democrats should come together and "stop attacking p*dophiles." After he made this statement, he continued on with his diatribe as if he hadn't just made the worst mistake of his life - and not a single person in the Senate corrected him! 

The Trump administration has continued to defy the orders of federal courts since their very first loss earlier this year. So far, nothing has happened to anyone in the administration for ignoring court orders, but those days could be coming to an end very soon. A federal judge blasted the administration for defying a court order regarding the dismantling of Voice of America, and the judge signaled that civil contempt charges might be on the way.

A very confused and emotional Eric Trump appeared on Newsmax this week to launch a new grievance against the former Biden Administration by claiming that they tried to get his father and stepmother to divorce. As evidence of this alleged attack on Trump's marriage, Eric claimed that the FBI's search of Mar-a-Lago was only done to try to dissolve that marriage. Eric seems to forget that his father has cheated on every wife he's ever had, and even buried Eric's mother at a golf course to get a tax write off - not exactly a loving husband that has successful marriages. 

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth held his little pep rally for the military on Tuesday morning, and it was about as pathetic as you would imagine. But on top of being pathetic, it was also insanely racist and misogynistic, with Hegseth saying that diversity is NOT a strength, and then going into a transphobic tirade about gender identities and how men are just better, in his opinion. The event cost millions of dollars was an even bigger waste of time than we thought it would be.

Donald Trump's Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins frantically texted Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent last week, saying that she's worried that Trump was outsmarted by China in his own trade war. We know that this happened because a photographer was able to snap a picture of the text message to Bessent as he was sitting at the United Nations last week. And Rollins has every reason to believe Trump was outsmarted, because he absolutely was.

In an interview on Sunday, shortly before he decided to deploy federal troops to Portland, Donald Trump appeared to admit that he's not only being manipulated by right wing propaganda, but that he's still aware enough to KNOW that he's being manipulated. Trump recalled a conversation with Oregon governor Tina Kotek, where he asked her "Am I seeing things on television that aren't actually happening?", and the answer to that is YES. Trump seems to know that he's not living in reality at the moment.

Following the indictment of former FBI Director James Comey last week, Vice President JD Vance has announced that there are "certainly" going to be more indictments coming against Donald Trump's political enemies in the months and years to come. This admission shows how brazen the administration is becoming with their abuses of power, and it also shows the complete incompetence of the administration. If Vance had a brain, he would have realized that promising indictments instead of investigations is a sure-fire way to get whatever charges may come dropped almost immediately.

Donald Trump launched a wild new conspiracy over the weekend that was so insane even his own sycophants couldn't allow it to stand. Trump falsely claimed that the FBI had agents planted at the Capitol Riot BEFORE the riot even took place, and he claimed that the government knew about it the whole thing (and obviously planned it.) Trump's own FBI director, Kash Patel, was forced to come out publicly and say that this is completely untrue, putting him at odds with his boss who doesn't like to be told that he is lying. 

Marjorie Taylor Greene is one of a handful of Republican lawmakers working with Democrats to force the release of the Epstein Files, and the Trump administration has been desperately trying to get her to stop it. But Greene has now made it crystal clear that she is NOT going to bow to White House pressure because she knows "who she works for." The only problem is that Greene still doesn't understand that the White House is acting on Trump's orders, and she is pretending that Trump is a victim in all of this.

Donald Trump has nominated a man by the name of Jeremy Carl to serve in a high-ranking position at the US State Department, which has led Carl to delete more than 5,000 old social media posts. The posts that are now gone had praised political violence from the Right - including the Capitol Rioters - while also calling for the trial and eventual sentencing to death of American Federation of Teachers leader Randi Weingarten. This man is likely going to be confirmed by Trump's Republican puppets in the Senate, and even though he deleted them, he can't hide from his disgusting past.

Hundreds of government workers that were fired by DOGE have been given their jobs back due to the fact that DOGE doesn't understand how the government works and that employees are pretty necessary. At the same time that this is happening, the Trump administration is planning EVEN MORE government firings, using a potential government shutdown as an excuse to cut more people. This administration is so dysfunctional that they are currently engaged in two completely contradictory plans.

The latest polling data shows that Donald Trump is now underwater with every single age group and demographic in the country. But to make things even worse for him, the young voters who helped him in the election now say that they regret their votes because he turned out to be a "reckless dictator." Trump's insanity and lawlessness could swing a whole generation back to the Left, assuming Democrats are able to capitalize on their disillusionment.

There are now enough members in the House who want the Epstein files released to the public to make that a reality - thanks to Democratic victories in several special elections this month. Donald Trump is terrified of these files, and he's now begging the Republicans who signed onto the discharge petition to switch sides again and save him. He might be successful, too, as those Republicans are Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, and Nancy Mace - three very pro-Trump lawmakers. But there's also a Plan B in place, in the event the Republicans chicken out.

A pair of Republicans in the US House of Representatives have put forward legislation to have Charlie Kirk's face printed on US currency. The currency would be a limited-edition run of silver coins, but this idol worship with Republicans is getting absolutely out of hand. Other Republican lawmakers have requested that Speaker Johnson place a statue of Kirk in Congress. The insanity never ends with these freaks,.

A series of special election victories this week gave Democrats the number of votes needed to finally get a discharge petition passed in the House of Representatives that would force a floor vote on releasing all of the Epstein files. This is a nightmare for both Republican Speaker Mike Johnson and Donald Trump, as the two men have been fighting for months to prevent the public from seeing what is hidden away in those files. 

Vice President JD Vance is currently going around and trying to fix all of the reputational problems that Donald Trump has created for himself in the past week. Vance is busy writing off, excusing, and outright lying about all of the things that have happened, including the government pressuring ABC to drop Jimmy Kimmel along with Trump's hate-filled comments at last weekend's Charlie Kirk memorial. 

Donald Trump threw a massive, juvenile temper tantrum after Jimmy Kimmel returned to the airwaves this week, and he also tossed in another threat against ABC for bringing him back. Not only did he come across as an unhinged, madman, wannabe dictator, but he also managed to blow up the Right's talking points where they falsely claimed that the administration was NOT trying to silence the media. Trump's rage gave up the game, as Farron explains.

Hundreds of people who were detained at the infamous "Alligator Alcatraz" facility in Florida cannot be located in any federal database, including lists of deportations. These individuals have simply been "disappeared" by the federal government after they were ordered to close down the facility and relocate all of the detainees - which included legal residents. This is the most terrifying development in the Trump administration's immigration crackdown, as these people have simply dropped off the map, and the administration made that happen. 

America is once again on the brink of a government shutdown, the 8th time this has happened since Republicans took over the House of Representatives following the 2022 midterms. Donald Trump was supposed to be meeting with House and Senate Democrats on Thursday, but decided to chicken out at the last minute because that's what he does best. Trump doesn't want to have to sit with the "mean" Democrats and actually try a little diplomacy, so the "Great Dealmaker" has decided to run and hide. 

Donald Trump repeated his favorite false claim at the UN this week when he said that he has ended 7 wars since taking office in January. He's made this claim so many times that reporters aren't even bothering to fact check it, and that's a very real problem. These "7 wars" are ALL still happening, with major military operations and deaths in just the last week taking place between these countries. None of the fighting has stopped, but Trump is doing a victory lap over paper victories and photo ops. 

Karoline Leavitt was forced to twist herself into knots this week in order to defend the bribery allegations against border czar Tom Homan along with Donald Trump's hateful rhetoric - literally declaring that he HATES his opponents. Leavitt dismissed both of these events, saying that neither person did anything wrong, in spite of both of the incidents being caught on video. Leavitt wants you to think that all bad things are good if Republicans do them, and they can only be considered bad if Democrats do them.

Donald Trump's latest order regarding H-1B visas immediately caused panic, chaos, and confusion among foreign workers and the businesses that employ them. Trump is now charging companies $100,000 to obtain the visas, making it incredibly expensive to bring in the level of expertise needed to run their companies. When the rule was announced, foreign workers were instructed to not leave the country out of fear they'd never be able to return, and one Emirates flight even delayed their departure to allow people to get off the plane when the order was given. 

Lawyers at the Department of Justice are being warned that they need to get malpractice insurance because they will likely need it due to their work for Trump. This is a terrifying warning that serves as an admission that the DOJ is engaging in activity that is definitely not ok. These lawyers now have a choice - Work for a man that is going to force them to do legally dubious things, or resign with dignity and find work elsewhere. 

Just hours after Donald Trump and his clown car of quacks announced that they "feel" like use of acetaminophen is tied to an increased risk of autism, Trump's own FDA released guidance to medical professionals that completely undermines every lie Trump told during that press conference. The FDA is apparently still trying to prevent the perversion of science and data that is rampant in this administration, but the people who put out the guidance are likely going to have to find new jobs in the very near future. 

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem is all about image and not substance. This is why the portrayals of her in the media, especially on shows like South Park, have rattled her so much. According to new reports, the mockery and embarrassment recently became too much for her to take, and she allegedly started profanely screaming at her staff over the barrage of negative stories about her in the press. And it isn't just about mockery - she's also angry about people learning that her department is completely dysfunctional.

The Charlie Kirk Hate Rally Memorial took place over the weekend, and nearly every speaker present decided to use that opportunity to sow more hate and division in America. But no one sank to the level where Steve Bannon went when he declared in a broadcast from the memorial that "teachers are terrorists." This man is trying to get teachers targeted by frenzied right wingers, and we've already seen teachers and school boards across the country receiving threats at levels never before seen ever since Republicans took aim at them. 

During a black tie dinner gala on Saturday evening, Donald Trump took to the stage to cry to the audience about how mean Joe Biden was as a person. Trump didn't bother to elaborate on the manner in which Biden was mean to him, but he did immediately launch into a mocking rant about Biden having cancer. He went as far as to tell the crowd that they shouldn't feel bad for him because he was a bad guy. Interesting thought - we don't have to feel sympathy for bad things happening to someone if that person was a piece of garbage. 

Tulsi Gabbard, Donald Trump's Director of National Intelligence, committed a major blunder recently when she decided to strip 37 intelligence officials of their clearance, including top aides to the director of the CIA. On top of this, aides to the administration are FURIOUS over the fact that she did this without Trump's approval or knowledge, and they are warning Trump that Gabbard is going rogue and could be a threat to the administration. Farron discusses this new drama and the latest headache for Trump and his clown car cabinet.

Donald Trump threatened even more tariffs against countries that he's apparently angry at to start the week, and those countries were not intimidated at all by his threats. In fact, the BRICS countries that Trump is now threatening are openly mocking him and calling for a new global economic system that is NOT dependent on the US dollar. Trump is about to destroy America's standing in the world forever.

Right wing media company Newsmax has decided to step in and attempt to save Donald Trump's failing media company. Specifically, Newsmax CEO Chris Ruddy announced that his company was going to be partnering with Trump's streaming platform, Truth+, and they will now be offering up their shows for the platform. That's still a very pathetic business model that doesn't provide subscribers with shows that they can't already get somewhere else, most of the time for free. 

A new psychological study has been released by the University of London, and in the study the researchers created a new term to explain the mental disorders of both Donald Trump and his entire MAGA base. The researchers say that these people all suffer from a severe case of victimhood, but their version is slightly different. The lead author says that Trump and his followers suffer from a "VictimCOULD" complex, which allows them to get people on their side and cheer for oppression and the destruction of things that are actually good.

Donald Trump had a full blown meltdown on Wednesday after Democratic Representative Jasmine Crockett "mocked" Melania Trump by pointing out that she clearly received a Visa to enter the country that she didn't even qualify for. Trump launched his usual racist attack that he reserves for non-white people, calling Crockett "low IQ" and then suggesting that she run for office with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the rest of the squad. The racial overtones were deafening.

Donald Trump may have lost his most powerful ally in the country, as even Joe Rogan can no longer stay silent about the cruelty and insanity of this administration. On a recent podcast episode, Rogan said that the ICE raids being carried out by this administration are "f***ing nuts," and then suggested that he didn't sign up for this when he voted for Trump. Technically, he did, as many social media users quickly pointed out. 

Former Tea Party Republican Congressman Joe Walsh knows what so many other Americans know, and that is that Donald Trump's mental problems are too obvious to ignore. Because of this, Walsh suggested that the administration is engaging in a massive coverup to prevent people from knowing just how bad Trump's mental state really is. This is way worse than anything that we saw with President Biden, and Walsh is likely correct with his analysis.

According to a new report, military officials were so worried that Donald Trump was going to run his mouth and screw up their bombing of Iran that they kept some of the plans from him in order to avoid him leaking anything. Their concerns proved to be accurate, as Trump's statements to the media and claims on Truth Social gave Iran enough time to prepare for the strikes, rendering them completely ineffective. 

Donald Trump's lofty deportation goals, along with his decision to put cosplay Kristi Noem in charge of the Department of Homeland Security, have caused the agency to basically spend their yearly budget in a matter of months, leaving them bankrupt. ICE is now running on fumes as they travel the country and abduct people off the streets - and their lack of funds may not be such a bad thing. 

A Trump supporter in South Florida is whining like a baby after his roofing company was raided by ICE after the agency had been tipped off that the man was employing undocumented migrants. ICE took 5 people into custody, and the man who voted for this is now complaining that he might not be able to replace those workers and he doesn't know how he can complete jobs without them.

A furious Donald Trump launched a verbal assault on Republican Representative Thomas Massie from Kentucky on Sunday, calling him a "pathetic loser" for opposing him on a few issues. Not long after the verbal attack, it was revealed that Trump has launched a new Super PAC with the sole purpose of funding a primary challenger to Massie in next year's midterm elections. This will be a test to see how much sway Trump actually has.

During an interview on Meet The Press over the weekend, Vice President JD Vance attempted to calm Americans' fears about a potential war with Iran by telling us that this was nothing like the lead up to the Iraq War. But his statement didn't leave anyone feeling better, as Vance claimed that the difference was that back then we had leaders who were "dumb." While that may be true, we also have leaders today who are very, very dumb, and Americans know that.

A top political analyst believes that White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is about to hit her breaking point after just 5 months on the job. Salon's Amanda Marcotte said that the signs are there that Leavitt is struggling to keep her head above water, and that a breakdown could potentially come at any minute. This is likely going to happen before the end of the year, but that doesn't mean that we'll be free of Leavitt for good.

During a press briefing this week, Karoline Leavitt struggled to pronounce a very basic, and very important word MULTIPLE times. As pointed out on BlueSky by Aaron Rupar, Leavitt struggled several times to say "President Trump," and instead it sounded more like "President Chump." The Internet immediately lit up at Leavitt's latest screw up, but Trump probably wasn't laughing. 

According to a new report from The Washington Post, Donald Trump's own White House staffers have been "blindsided" by his posts on Truth Social, with some saying that they've been shocked by what they've seen over there. Have these people been living in a cave with no internet for the last 15 years? Everyone knows that this is how Trump operates, but it is also true that his posts are growing even more unhinged than ever before.

During a late night posting spree on Truth Social this week, Donald Trump bizarrely and incorrectly stated that the economy is doing better than ever. This was an obvious lie, but it didn't take long to get thoroughly debunked, as a new economic report was released just hours later showing that the US economy is once again FAILING to meet economic projections and could hit recession status by this summer. Trump can't hide the truth from everyone all the time.

Donald Trump clearly believed that he could swagger back into the Oval Office and immediately start bossing around the rest of the world. The many failures that he has racked up since taking office prove that this isn't going to be the case, and he's actually going to have to use intelligence and diplomacy to solve problems. Unfortunately for him, those are two traits that he does not possess, which means it is going to be a very long 4 years. Farron Cousins explains what's happening. 

Rather than actually apologizing for her viral clip last week, Republican Senator Joni Ernst doubled down on it over the weekend with a video of herself in a cemetery mocking the people who are worried about the Republican budget bill. This led conservative pollster Sarah Longwell to speculate that Ernst might be suffering a genuine nervous breakdown right now as she continues to deal with the fallout from her flippant comment. 

Donald Trump is the only one not laughing about the TACO Trump nickname, and that might not be a good thing for American consumers. If Trump believes that we're all mocking him because he always chickens out, then next time he might keep tariffs in place just to teach us all a lesson. In other words, Trump's ego is hurt and he's going to make everyone else suffer because of it - and he's already working on a plan to do exactly that.

Donald Trump and his Republican allies have been insistent that their budget does NOT call for cuts to Medicaid or other social welfare programs. Unfortunately for them, not everyone is on the same page of talking points, and one of Trump's closest advisers accidentally admitted during an interview that the bill DOES cut Medicaid by $880 billion. In other words, he admitted that everyone in the GOP is lying about the cuts. 

Foreign tourism to the United States has dropped by about 10% this year, all because of Donald Trump and his policies. This drop in tourism is projected to cost the economy as much as $23 billion and up to a quarter of a million jobs. Foreigners may not have a say in US elections, but they are certainly voting with their dollars right now. 

During his Memorial Day speech in front of families that had lost their loved ones in active duty service, Donald Trump boasted to the crowd that he "has everything." As if that wasn't bad enough, he also managed to make it even worse by saying that God "favors" him. The man is absolutely delusional and dangerous, but he's also the most insensitive person on the planet with a complete lack of empathy for others.

Matt Gaetz probably did not expect his career to end up the way that it has. The man who was on the verge of becoming the Attorney General of the United States is now hosting a show that nearly everyone forgot about while also doing paid online ads for an online pharmacy that specializes in prescribing Ivermectin. The ad is about as pathetic as it gets, and so is what's left of Gaetz's career. 

The White House formally accepted the $400 million "flying palace" junk airplane from Qatar this week, but not before the truth about the situation finally came out. It turns out that Qatar didn't actually offer him the plane as we were all led to believe - Trump and his associates begged the country to give it to us. The plane had been sitting in storage for more than 5 years as Qatar tried, and failed, to find a buyer for it, but sucker Trump fell in love and begged the country to give it to him. 

The Washington Post decided to go out into rural America to talk with farmers who, as a whole, overwhelmingly supported Donald Trump in last year's election. These Trump-voting farmers now fully understand how bad they screwed up, and they say that their hope for Trump has been replaced with despair, frustration, and anger over his policies that are crippling their businesses. They realize they made a mistake, which is a great step forward.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. became insanely irate during a Senate hearing this week when Democratic Senator Patty Murray asked him a simple question about who cut the funding for child healthcare programs. Kennedy first tried to blame Biden, then he viciously attacked Murray for doing nothing to stop diseases, and after he was reprimanded by the Chair of the Committee, he sheepishly admitted that his department cut the funding he was trying to deny was cut. The man is way over his head.

Republican governors and the Senators from their red states have resorted to begging Donald Trump's administration for federal assistance after they were ravaged by tornadoes over the last month. So far, the administration has not declared a federal disaster for any of the affected areas, which is preventing any FEMA officials or assistance from being deployed. Again, this is how Trump is treating RED STATES that put him in office - ignoring their cries for help after catastrophe.

Donald Trump told reporters on Tuesday of this week that he doesn't want the "big beautiful bill" that Republicans are working on to benefit Democratic-controlled states because, as Trump put it, those states and the Democrats running them are ruining the country. He also falsely claimed that Red States are the ones making America great again, which is why they should reap all the benefits. The problem is that the Republican bill doesn't help ANY states - Red or Blue - but it does screw over Red States far more thoroughly.

Marjorie Taylor Greene is starting to realize that things don't work the way that she wants them to, and even the people that she admires the most are nothing but greedy liars. Greene went on a tirade over the weekend about the fact that so many investigations have not happened, and she said that this is unacceptable considering the "we" are in charge, meaning Trump and the Republicans. She's waking up to the fact that Trump is absolutely full of it.

Between his failures with his trade war and the severe backlash from the public, Donald Trump appears to be going completely insane right in front of our eyes. He went on a truly unhinged posting spree on Truth Social over the weekend where he called for military tribunals for Barack Obama and an investigation into Bruce Springsteen who has been publicly ridiculing Trump in recent days. The man is so far gone that the media can no longer ignore these glaring mental problems.

Small business owners and consumers are sharing photos of their receipts that have gone through the roof thanks to Donald Trump's tariffs. These are the people (small business owners) that Republicans whine about "protecting" the most, and they are the ones getting screwed over worse than anyone. These posts on social media are going viral, and that isn't going to sit well with Tariff Trump.

The announcement over the weekend that the country of Qatar was going to gift Donald Trump a $400 million "palace in the sky" jet that he can use as Air Force One and then keep after he leaves office caused massive backlash from the public. But it wasn't just those on the Left who were outraged - even MAGA faithfuls like Laura Loomer went after Trump for accepting such an obvious bribe (that is also clearly illegal to accept.) 

Donald Trump announced on Sunday, and then signed on Monday, an executive order lowering the cost of prescription drugs. Or at least, that's what he wants the press and the public to believe. The truth is that the President has no control over how much drug companies charge, with the exception of charges to Medicare and Medicaid (because he can only control federal spending.) The courts will easily overturn this order, and then Trump will blame high prescription costs on "liberal activist judges" and make himself out to be the good guy fighting for us. 

Staffers inside Trump's administration aren't the oblivious fools that his Cabinet members seem to be, and they fully understand that Trump is running afoul of the law on a near constant basis. Unfortunately, one source confided to a reporter from Salon that they don't know how to stop it, and the press, Congress, and even the courts have failed to do anything meaningful so far. If staffers are this worried about his behavior then it is likely far worse than any of us realized

Donald Trump had his own boasts used against him by a federal judge as she completely dismantled and struck down one of his oppressive and retaliatory executive orders. Specifically, Judge Beryl Howell struck down Trump's order that targeted the Perkins Coie law firm, and the judge used Trump's braggadocious claim from April that law firms were giving him money and then he would stop going after them as proof that this was a revenge-motivated action.

The Trump administration has repeatedly told us that Trump is currently negotiating 200 trade deals (originally it was 72, then 100, now 200), but so far the "art of the deal" guy hasn't announced a single one, nor has he mentioned by name a single country that he's actively talking to. His administration keeps saying deals could be announced "this week," but they've been teasing that for 3 weeks now. The truth is that there are no deals, and Trump is just as pathetic as a negotiator as he is at being a leader. 

It isn't difficult to make Donald Trump look like an idiot, but so far China has done it in far more clever ways than anyone else. Businesses in China have now found a hilarious way to get around Trump's trade war tariffs of 145% by simply shipping their goods to the US from other countries. This simple maneuver might actually help keep Americans from experiencing the empty store shelves and price hikes that could be just around the corner, so by outsmarting Trump the country has actually emerged as the heroes that Americans need.

Staffers at the State Department have had their personal communications combed through by the right wing extremists now calling the shots at their department. According to reports, the request for documents from staffers are specifically looking for any mentions of certain individuals, including Donald Trump and Elon Musk. But other names appeared on the list like Alex Jones and Joe Rogan, suggesting that staffers who criticized these two weirdos could end up fired. 

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. made the absolutely insane and completely false claim this past week that the MMR vaccine contains "fetus debris," which he says is causing some communities to avoid it. This is completely false, as there are no vaccines AT ALL that contain any pieces or traces or even the DNA of fetuses. This lie came just hours after his agency shuttered a lab that studies infectious diseases. This man's conspiracy theories are going to cause the largest death toll from this administration.

In a lengthy, unhinged rant on Truth Social last week, Donald Trump began laying the groundwork to start prosecuting media outlets for reporting that he doesn't like. This was the second time last week that he made such a suggestion, which typically means that he's going to follow through with it. This is an all out assault on the press, and it is an assault that could either bankrupt countless media outlets with legal fees, or scare them into submission.

Donald Trump announced last week that he would be holding a special, private dinner for the top 220 investors in his meme coin, which immediately caused the coin to surge in value as sales went through the roof. Democrats in the senate are now demanding an ethics investigation into this "pay to play" scheme from the President, and they have good reason to believe that this is 100% illegal.

During a press briefing this week, Karoline Leavitt was asked by Fox's Peter Doocy if Trump would consider - hypothetically - arresting Supreme Court Justices if they engaged in "obstruction." Leavitt confirmed that Trump would do so without hesitation, but then demurred and said that such a decision would be up to Pam Bondi and the DOJ. We are in a lawless era in the United States, where even ruling against Trump could be considered "obstruction" and could result in more judges being locked behind bars. 

Donald Trump signed an executive order this week directing the attorney general, Pam Bondi, and Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, to work together to come up with a plan to legally use the US military on US soil against US citizens. We have officially entered a new era of US history, and our own military is going to be used against us in some capacity - Trump was a little vague about the details in his order, but there is no good scenario where American troops could be used on American soil.

During an appearance on ABC this past weekend, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent offered an incredibly smug and insanely stupid defense of Donald Trump's chaotic trade war, claiming that the President is using "strategic uncertainty" to keep our trade partners off their game. Bessent says that this gives Trump an upper hand in negotiations, then completely failed to offer any examples of how and when this has worked. 

According to a new analysis, Elon Musk's DOGE office has already cost US taxpayers a staggering $135 billion while they claim they have saved $160 billion in federal spending, based on the totals from their "wall of receipts." But because we know that many of those "receipts" were either already spent or otherwise not accurate, it is safe to assume at this point that DOGE has cost taxpayers WAY MORE than they have saved.

Trump appeared to call for physical violence against people who interrupt Republicans at their town hall events this past weekend in a post on Truth Social. Trump falsely claimed that Democrats are spending "a fortune" for these people to show up, in spite of a complete lack of evidence to suggest this is happening anywhere. He also said that Republicans need to have these people "ejected" from events, similar to how Marjorie Taylor Greene had people forcibly removed, tasered, and arrested at her recent event. This is little more than a clear call for violence against dissent.

Donald Trump is paying close attention to the fact that his poll numbers are in the gutter, he just doesn't believe ANY of the pollsters are telling the truth. Even though every poll across the board has come up with similar results showing that he's grossly unpopular, Trump believes they are all faking it and demanded that they be investigated for "election fraud" in an early morning tirade on Truth Social on Monday.

The Montana Farmers Union has filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration arguing that his tariffs on Canada are not only harming farmers, but also have no legal basis for existing at all. The red state farmers are getting hammered by Trump's trade war, and their lawsuit follows in the footsteps of a recent suit filed by a group of 5 small business owners making similar arguments.

Democratic Representative Jasmine Crockett appeared on Jimmy Kimmel's show this week where she announced that she would gladly take an IQ test against Donald Trump, after he said that she was "low IQ" last month. Crockett is not afraid to call out people on the Right, and she included some great attack lines against Elon Musk and Marjorie Taylor Greene, as well. If Trump is going to keep calling people low IQ, then he'd better be ready to put up.

Donald Trump got on Truth Social this week to rail against Judge Beryl Howell and the law firm of Perkins Coie. Trump was angry because Howell was assigned to oversee the lawsuit he filed against the firm. But there's one problem - Trump is NOT suing the law firm, they are suing HIM. But that didn't stop Trump from claiming that he filed the lawsuit in a moment that seemed to confuse everyone who saw the post. It actually makes total sense if you look at it as a post from someone suffering from dementia.

According to new predictions from financial firms, the tourism "boycotts" taking place among foreign tourists avoiding the United States is projected to cost our economy roughly $90 BILLION this year. Foreign individuals are reluctant to come to the US due to Donald Trump's harsh policies and their general disdain for him, and now American businesses and citizens are going to be paying the price for that. 

An immigration lawyer in Massachusetts, who is a natural-born citizen of the United States, received a letter from Kristi Noem's Department of Homeland Security demanding that she "self-deport" within the next 7 days or she would be forcibly removed from the country. The letter was obviously sent by mistake, the lawyer believes, but she cautioned that mistakes like this can be considered proof that people who are NOT at risk of being deported are also getting these letters. 

Executives at Warner Bros. were contacted by a member of "Trump's orbit" and offered a way to get on, and remain on, Donald Trump's good side. According to the reports, the executives were told that Donald Trump, Jr. wanted to host a hunting show on the Discovery Channel, and giving him the show would be a great way to keep Trump happy and off of their backs. The administration is now abusing their power to force Trump's idiot son onto our televisions

Republican Senator, and Trump ally, John Kennedy from Louisiana admitted during an interview on CNN this week that he has no idea why Donald Trump is hellbent on enacting his tariff policy because Trump has no idea why he's hellbent on it. This is the first time that a sitting Republican has admitted that Trump is operating without a rudder, and it could be an indication that more Republicans are losing faith in him.

European officials travelling to the United States have been instructed to use burner phones for communicating during their trips in order to avoid Donald Trump spying on them. This is the same procedure they use for traveling to countries like Russia and China because they don't trust the government, and now the US has been put on the same level thanks to Trump. Our allies no longer have any faith or trust in us.

The Constitutional crisis that many of us had feared is officially here. The Trump administration has made it clear that they are going to continue to defy an order from the US Supreme Court, which means that the system of checks and balances put in place by the Constitution have been thrown away. There's not much that can actually be done about this, but that doesn't mean there's nothing that can be done. The unfortunate thing is that the one remedy is one that is almost impossible to use.

Donald Trump had an absolutely unhinged meltdown watching 60 Minutes on CBS on Sunday evening, and he demanded that the network lose their license. What set him off was the fact that the program did an interview with Ukranian president Volodymyr Zelensky, as well as a segment about Greenland not wanting to be part of the United States. Trump couldn't take it, so he got on Truth Social and proved to the world that he's a fascist dictator. 

A recent segment on MSNBC suggested that the United States is going to be the next entity that Donald Trump sends into bankruptcy. That could definitely happen, and if you look at his business track record it should have been completely expected. Trump has more failed businesses and bankruptcies than most people realize, and it is only natural that he would bring that same failed mentality to the White House. 

According to new reports, the people inside of Donald Trump's White House are just as confused as the rest of the public about what he is doing and why he is doing it. Insiders have admitted that they don't even know what his "endgame" is at this point with his economic policies, and that's a bad sign. If they don't know why he is doing what he's doing, then neither does he, because he is always very vocal about everything.

One of the lead supervisors for Secretary of State Marco Rubio's security detail was arrested recently in Brussels, Belgium after becoming belligerent with hotel staff and eventually fighting police officers. Rubio was not present for the incident, as the detail was checking security and location before Rubio arrived a few days later. But the incident shows just how terrible every person in this administration is - from the well-known people to the staffers, everyone is just the worst of the worst.

Things were looking great for Newsmax for quite a while after a successful IPO and their owner becoming an instant billionaire. But they came crashing down off that high this week when a judge in Delaware determined that the network DID defame voting machine company Dominion following the 2020 election. The case is now scheduled to go to trial where the jury's work has been made pretty easy following the judge's decision this week.

Donald Trump's on-again, off-again trade war sent markets into a tailspin followed by a small correction this week, and none of this is doing anything to ease the lingering fears of investors. In fact, according to one financial research firm, many fund managers have openly pondered whether or not Trump might be literally insane. That is a very fair question, as he seems to have no rationale or logic behind any of his moves and he doesn't seem to care about the damage that he's causing to the global economy.

Donald Trump isn't immune from his own horrible policies, and his crashing of the stock market has now cost him half a billion dollars. In the past week, Trump saw his own net worth plummet by $500 million as the stock value of his Trump Media and Technology Group bottomed out, along with most of the stock market. He would rather lose millions than admit that he's wrong, which is quite shocking. 

Elon Musk's team at DOGE has been using AI to spy on government workers to make sure that everyone employed in the federal government is sufficiently loyal to Donald Trump. The fact that they are using unproven and easily fooled software is actually the least important part of the story - the fact that government employees are no longer allowed to have personal opinions is what really matters. The thought police are active.

The European Union has announced some minor reciprocal tariffs on the United States, but for the most part they are just sitting back and laughing at the "stupidity" of Donald Trump tanking the entire US economy. Reports suggest that EU countries are "sharpening their knives" as they wait for the US to become so insolvent that they can take over major trade agreements and business ventures, taking away the main source of vitality for the United States.

Donald Trump's MAGA fan base has finally realized that Elon Musk is nothing more than a liar. And they figured it out in a fairly clever way. In a post on social media, a MAGA activist openly asked why there had been no arrests made if DOGE had actually found all of the fraud that they claim to have found. It is a very valid question that people should have been asking for months, and it is a bit ironic that it was put out there by MAGA to prove that Elon is lying.

Marjorie Taylor Greene appeared to know that the stock market was about to crash, as just days before the market meltdown she pulled hundreds of thousands of dollars out of the market and invested in treasury bills instead. This move came just a few days before Donald Trump's "Liberation Day," which resulted in tariffs across the globe that tanked the markets. Millions of people lost millions of dollars, but not Marge - it was almost as if she knew something bad was going to happen.

Donald Trump told reporters over the weekend that he "loves" the idea of sending Americans to the torture prison in El Salvador. This can't be dismissed as an offhand comment, either, because this isn't the first time he has said it. In fact, Secretary of State Marco Rubio admitted weeks ago that he discussed the idea with the leader of El Salvador after Trump first mentioned it. This is where Trump would like to send political dissidents, including those that are protesting Tesla right now, as Farron explains.

After Democratic Governor Janet Mills of Maine went against Donald Trump's order about transgender athletes, the Social Security Administration cancelled vital contracts with the state to operate offices. Leland Dudek, the acting administrator of Social Security, personally ordered staffers to cancel the contracts while admitting that this would increase fraud and screw over parents of newborns seeking to get Social Security numbers, but he did it anyway to punish Mills for going against Trump. Leaked emails have confirmed all of this, and now there are growing demands for Dudek to be removed.

The latest rounds of polling data have confirmed that Donald Trump's approval rating has hit rock bottom, and will likely get even worse as the weeks tick by. Trump's overall approval rating is NEGATIVE 14 points, and his handling of issues like the economy and trade negotiations get even worse marks. And for the first time, a majority of voters are not happy with aspects of Trump's immigration policies, marking a stark difference from just a few weeks ago. Everything he does is unpopular, as Farron explains.

The Canadian government has decided to take the trade war directly to the American public by paying to run ads in swing states that explain just how badly Americans are going to be screwed because of Trump's actions. The ads specifically state that tariffs are a tax and that American consumers are the ones who end up paying them in the end. This is a brilliant tactic, and the Canadian government is clearly trying to turn voters against Trump and the Republican Party.

National security adviser to Donald Trump Mike Waltz has now been BUSTED using a private Gmail account for official government business. This is the exact same thing that conservatives whined about for years after Hillary Clinton did it, and they wanted her locked away for life. We likely won't see conservatives call for the same punishment for Waltz, but the fact that this scandal continues to get worse is proof that we still don't have all the facts.

After reading through every one of Donald Trump's executive orders, the New York Times released an analysis that found that most of the orders don't even make sense. Between weird linguistic and grammatical issues to incomplete thoughts written on paper, most of these orders don't appear to have any point or goal at all. Trump is just signing things for the sake of signing things, and no one bothered to look at them all until now.

 Donald Trump may have lost a very valuable ally, as even Joe Rogan is not happy about his deportations. Rogan came out against the administration's policies in a recent episode of his podcast after he learned that innocent people are being shipped to the torture prison in El Salvador. Rogan had been supportive of Trump's immigration policies in the past, so if even he thinks they've become too extreme then things must be really bad. 

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt announced this week that it was "case closed" on the Signal chat leak scandal, and nobody is going to be punished for anything, nor are there any indications that their methods are going to change. The problem for Leavitt and the administration is that it is NOT "case closed," and the American public is still demanding answers and accountability for those responsible for this careless act. 

Donald Trump doesn't have many allies left across the globe, and the few that he does have are worried that his brand of toxic conservatism is going to hurt them in their own countries. Many had predicted a wave of "populist conservative" victories after Trump won the election, but those expected victories never materialized, and they believe that Trump is to blame for it. If this trend continues, these allies fear that conservatives across the globe will feel the backlash.

 Peter Navarro, one of Donald Trump's top trade advisors, had a complete meltdown during a live TV hit on Fox News the other day, where he started yelling about how tariffs are somehow a "tax cut" for the American people. You likely wouldn't be able to find a single economist that agrees with that take, as it is generally accepted that tariffs RAISE prices for American consumers. 

Republicans in the Senate are begging Donald Trump and his allies to stop attacking federal judges and pushing for meaningless impeachments. These Republicans seem to understand that attacking the courts is never a good look and ends up making the administration look like a group of wannabe dictators - which is pretty much what they've become.

Donald Trump continues to lose his cool - and his mind - about the ongoing Signal chat leak story, and he erupted on social media recently about the "never ending story." He angrily demanded that the media move on from the story because he claimed that it was "boring," but that claim falls flat. A majority of the public believes that it is a big deal and calls for heads to roll continue to increase by the day.

The Trump administration has managed to anger most countries in North America and Europe, so now they've moved on to alienating our allies in Asia. During a recent press briefing, Karoline Leavitt made up an insane claim that Japan is putting tariffs on imported rice and that the US is going to retaliate, but Japanese officials pointed out that this was a complete fabrication from Leavitt. They then, politely, demanded that the administration put an end to the "confusion and chaos" that their tariff lies are causing. 

Donald Trump appears to be hellbent on making Canada a part of the United States, but according to a new survey, millions of Americans would rather see their state become a part of Canada. Roughly 20% of US residents in a Canadian survey said they'd rather join Canada than vice versa, a shocking number that shows the distaste for Trump and his policies. Furthermore, a survey from the journal Nature found that scientists and researchers are also wanting to become either Canadian or European to escape Trump's assault on science. 

Steve Bannon thinks that the writing may already be on the wall for Donald Trump following the latest order from Judge James Boasberg, and Bannon admitted on his show last week that he thinks Trump is going to prison - but only if a Democrat wins the White House in 2028. The truth is that Trump should ALREADY be in prison for the crimes he was convicted for, and he managed to avoid that. But Bannon, as usual, has ulterior motives for this claim, and Farron exposes what's really happening.

New Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney had harsh words for Donald Trump following Trump's decision to enact 25% tariffs on all automobile imports coming into the United States. Carney said that "nothing is off the table" at this point, and that Canada will be hitting America very hard and very fast in response. The problem that America has is that our leader launched a trade war with no protections in place for Americans, whereas Canada has a fund set up to protect their industries. 

During a recent press conference that he held from the safety of a foreign country, Secretary of State Marco Rubio boasted about the fact that he has revoked the visas of over 300 foreign students - students that he referred to as "lunatics." This administration is out of control, and these people are innocent of whatever fake excuses that Rubio and Trump come up with. 

Reporters and journalists were left shocked multiple times last week as a very confused and agitated Donald Trump couldn't answer basic questions. But these weren't "gotcha" questions - they were questions about well-known current events that Trump admitted to having absolutely no clue about. And when he did answer questions, his answers were direct contradictions of reality. The man's mental status needs to be at the forefront because he is barely able to function anymore.

Donald Trump is glued to the television even more than usual, and he wants to see how the media is covering the fallout from the leaked war plans his morons sent out this week. The White House has already chosen their fall guy for the incident, but Trump is waiting to see how the media handles it and how bad the PR damage is to his administration. Firing a top official right now would be a horrible look, but Trump may be left with no choice.

Members of the Trump administration, including Donald Trump himself, have been bending over backwards to help Elon Musk sell more cars and endear him to the public. But according to the latest round of data, these efforts are actually having the OPPOSITE effect, driving Musk's approval rating into the ground. And this change in approval rating is being reflected in a decline in new applications for Tesla vehicles, even as other electric vehicles see a rise in demand - so the desire is there, just not for Tesla.

Donald Trump has once again violated Judge Juan Merchan's gag order against him by attacking the judge's daughter in an angry post on Truth Social. This time, however, it felt more like Trump was trying to test the water to see what he could get away with, as his attack on the judge's daughter had nothing to do with the post he put out. This could be a test to see if the judge is going to try to punish the sitting president.

The IRS is predicting a 10% drop in the amount of taxes that it collects this year - meaning the US government is going to lose about $500 billion. But the drop isn't because people made less money - quite the contrary. The drop is due to the fact that wealthy tax cheats and businesses are using the chaos caused by Elon Musk's DOGE to simply not pay taxes because they are betting on the IRS not having the resources to come after them. 

Donald Trump's most diehard fans are not extending the love to Elon Musk. In fact, plenty of MAGA loyalists believe that Musk has managed to usurp Trump's power and therefore emasculate him on the global stage. These MAGA fans expressed their frustrations about Musk in a conversation with The New York Times, and their responses don't bode well for the administration. But the concerns of Republican lawmakers could prove to be even more problematic.

The White House Easter Egg Roll has been a longstanding tradition in America that allows children the chance to have some fun and relax with the administration on a joyous day. But, as usual, Donald Trump doesn't believe in fun or happiness, so he's decided to turn the event into a corporate-sponsored bribery fest, and he's now offering "sponsorship" packages for high-dollar donors that include a brunch with the First Family.

Donald Trump held talks with both Volodymyr Zelensky and Vladimir Putin this week and brokered a very weak "ceasefire" deal between the two countries. Just one hour after both sides agreed to the 30-day deal, Russia sent drones into Ukraine and immediately started hitting hospitals and energy stations, a direct violation of the terms of the agreement. This was Putin's way of showing that he doesn't care about ending the conflict and he won't take orders from Trump.

Conservative media outlets are finding it harder and harder to justify some of Donald Trump's actions, and they appear to be losing patience with him on multiple issues. With Fox News hosts starting to be more honest about the state of the economy and other outlets questioning Trump's decisions to completely ignore judicial rulings, the cracks are forming in the conservative media echo chamber.

He is using that false belief to cause havoc throughout the world, and voters have already lost patience with his antics. The pollster is now warning that Trump, and the Republican Party, could be in huge trouble due to the fact that Trump doesn't understand what actually happened in the election.

Donald Trump's Department of Justice, led by Attorney General Pam Bondi, announced in a court filing that they were going to continue to defy the judge's order about deportations because, as they claim, the flights were already over international waters and therefore did NOT have to return. They are also defying the judge's instructions to turn over documents regarding the deportations because they don't feel the judge actually needs them. This is a brazen assault on justice, and Pam Bondi is leading the charge. 

Farmers across the country are warning that the latest moves by the Trump administration could absolutely cripple the agricultural economy, which would then send shockwaves across the entire country. The main issue - beyond tariffs and deportations - is that the Trump administration has cancelled a vital USDA program that accounted for as much as 35% of the total income of farmers. Without that money, many local farmers will not be able to survive much longer. 

Apparently no one at The Heritage Foundation has ever heard the phrase "be careful what you wish for." The group behind Project 2025 is now suddenly terrified about Donald Trump's economic policies that they concede are not helping the economy at all - in fact, some at the Foundation are warning that things are getting really bad really quickly. But this is what they wanted, so they should be celebrating, right?

Elon Musk sent out a post on Twitter this week, wondering out loud why people don't like him. The post came as Tesla stock continued to nosedive, with the world's richest man continuing to lose money. But Musk ended up answering his own question by claiming that people don't like him because he is a "deadly threat to the woke mind parasite", a statement that doesn't even mean anything. The truth is that Musk HATES that people don't love him and he genuinely doesn't understand why that is.

Paul Dans, one of the architects of Project 2025, is boasting about the fact that the plan is being implemented every hour of every day by Donald Trump. In fact, during his interview with Politico, Dans admitted that Trump is going above and beyond Project 2025 and that the results are "beyond (his) wildest dreams." This was always the plan, even as Trump insisted he knew nothing about it. 

Donald Trump appeared to suffer yet another psychotic breakdown on Truth Social Tuesday morning when he lashed out at the judge that ruled against him over the weekend. Trump went on a rant about the "huge mandate" that he got in the 2024 election - a "mandate" that doesn't actually exist - and then went on to claim that the judge should be impeached. Republicans in the House will take that as a marching order and get right on it, as they have already done with several other judges.

Donald Trump has apparently fallen for a string of misinformation coming from The Heritage Foundation (the group that put together Project 2025) and he's now accusing President Biden of using an "auto pen" to sign documents, including his pardons for the January 6th Committee and Dr. Anthony Fauci. Trump has now declared that these pardons are, therefore, null and void, and suggested he may move forward with prosecutions. 

A left-leaning politician in France told an audience over the weekend that the United States should return the Statue of Liberty because obviously we don't believe in it anymore. This is the latest in a growing string of anger towards the US coming from our closest allies in Europe, and it shows how badly Donald Trump has harmed those relationships in less than two months in office. 

A Trump voter was shocked that ICE detained his wife as they tried to return from their honeymoon in Puerto Rico. The man told USA Today that he is panicked and doesn't know what he can do to help his wife, and said that he didn't know "how" it was "going to go down" with Trump's crackdown on immigrants. But this is EXACTLY what people were warning about before the election, so there really is no excuse.

Republicans have now changed their tune from "everything is fine with the economy" to "just shut up and suffer in silence." Republican Senator Tommy Tuberville is leading the charge, telling Americans last week that they are going to have to suffer because, as he put it, "no pain, no gain." Tuberville compared struggling families to weight lifters and suggested that it is ok that you can't afford groceries because you will eventually (maybe) be able to. This isn't just condescending, it is flat out WRONG.

Allies of Donald Trump are still, mostly, unwilling to speak out against his horrific policies and economic destruction publicly, but that doesn't mean that they aren't letting their voices be heard. According to new reports, Trump's chief of staff Susie Wiles is being "inundated" with panicked phone calls from Trump's allies who are complaining and getting angry about the economic devastation that he is causing on a daily basis. 

For the second time in just a few weeks, Donald Trump wants to know what idiot signed a trade deal with Canada that allows them to "take advantage" of the United States, and also to supply us with energy. The trade deal he's referring to is the USMCA, which was signed into law in early 2020 by HIM. HE is the idiot that he keeps looking for, he's just too much of an idiot to understand that he's the answer to his own question.

Like hundreds of millions of Americans, CNBC host Jim Cramer has no idea what Donald Trump is doing with the US economy. Cramer suggested this past week that Trump could actually be "manufacturing" a recession, which means that maybe he's tanking the entire economy on purpose. That honestly seems very likely, given the fact that everyone has warned him about what he's doing, but it also makes no sense because there's no motive for doing it. 

From up north in Canada to south in Mexico, and all across Europe to Australia, countries are boycotting American goods as a way to protest Donald Trump. The new President has managed to piss off just about everyone, with the exception of our enemies. Our allies now hate us, or at the very least their citizens do, and that's never good for America. We are already seeing the ramifications of this global hatred reflected in our own economy, but Trump doesn't seem to care.

A federal judge this week absolutely demolished the legal team from Donald Trump's Department of Justice, accusing them of lying in court and providing "sham" documents. Ordinarily, this level of contempt would get lawyers sanctioned and possibly even disbarred, so these lawyers had better watch themselves. But that is secondary to the ruling, in which the judge ordered the federal government to immediately "rehire" tens of thousands of workers that they had laid off. 

A former megachurch pastor and former spiritual adviser to Donald Trump has been indicted in the state of Texas and charged with 5 different counts related to sex crimes involving children. Robert Morris, the former pastor, allegedly carried out most of the abuse a few decades ago, before he rose to national prominence as a major political player in both Texas and in the federal government.

CNN managed to bust the spokesperson for the Office of Personnel Management, which is currently overseeing DOGE's activities, making fashion influencer videos from her government office while engaging in massive layoffs. The people that Trump has picked to run our government are not serious people, and they have absolutely no business making the decisions that they are allowed to make. This incident is just further proof of that.

Donald Trump thought that he was doing Elon Musk a favor by turning the White House lawn into a car dealership this week, but he actually made things so much worse for the world's richest man. The Model S Tesla that Trump "purchased" this week for nearly $100,000 already has 37 recall notices against it, and most of them are fairly significant. This whole stunt reminded people how Tesla is the most recalled vehicle brand in the country, and that's not helping Musk's stocks. 

According to multiple new polls, American voters' faith in Donald Trump to handle the economy has tanked in the first two months of his administration, and a plurality of voters no longer believe that he's the man for the job. On top of that, a plurality also now says that the country is headed in the wrong direction. This is a dramatic reversal from where these polls stood less than two months ago, but Trump has managed to shake everyone's trust in a record amount of time.

Investors at some of the largest US banks have now made it clear that they believe Donald Trump is destroying the economy, and they've updated their economic forecasts to show that a recession is far more likely than it was just a week ago. The big reason for the shift to pessimism is that Trump's own team has changed the way that they speak about the economy, and they are now admitting that there is a lot of pain headed for consumers, which is spooking investors. 

A federal judge ruled this week that the Department of Government Efficiency is operating under an unprecedented shroud of secrecy, and those days are over. The judge has ordered the Department to turn over documents relating to their activities so that everyone can understand what they are doing and how they are doing it. Musk and his allies had been trying to keep these activities hidden for some reason, and we may soon find out what that reason is.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt ran crying to Sean Hannity on Fox News after a reporter with the Associated Press made her look like a complete fool during a press briefing earlier in the day. The reporter called out Leavitt for not understand who pays for tariffs, which forced Leavitt to double down on her false claim that other countries pay them, and after being told she was wrong again, Leavitt got incredibly angry and said that the reporter is insulting her intelligence and then she attacked his outlet.

As the markets continue to reel as a result of Donald Trump's on-again, off-again tariff plan, the President continues to refuse to take responsibility for the volatility that he has created. Instead, he told reporters the other day that the REAL problem was that "globalists" have been manipulating the market to make him look bad. "Globalists" have become the go-to boogeyman for Republicans, which is ironic because that's what they all are, so Trump may actually be correct!

Elon Musk, along with Republicans in Washington, D.C., have been repeatedly attacking federal judges for ruling against the Trump administration, often calling for the judges to be removed and even disbarred for "attacking" the administration. Those false claims have real world consequences, and it has now been revealed that many of the judges that have ruled on Trump cases have been assigned security details by US Marshals due to the insane number of death threats they are now receiving. 

The Trump administration continues to set new records, and not in a good way. The administration has now been sued over 100 times since taking office on January 20th, and that comes out to an average of THREE new lawsuits PER DAY. To make matters worse, the administration has basically been overruled and overturned with all but ONE preliminary ruling that has come down so far - and that includes TWO smackdowns from the Supreme Court.

Fox host Maria Bartiromo completely lost it during an interview with Republican Congressman Brandon Gill this past week, and she ended up demanding that Republicans in the House cut Medicaid. Bartiromo insisted that this was necessary while almost shouting that the Republican Representative, because, as Bartiromo claims, you have to have offsets to pay for the tax cuts Republicans want to enact. She would rather give herself a tax cut than let poor people go to the doctor.

Donald Trump's commerce secretary Howard Lutnick wants everyone to know that the prices of certain products are absolutely going to go up because of Trump's policies - but he says that you'd better not call it inflation! In a tense moment during a segment on Fox News, Lutnick conceded the price increases while making his insane demand and all while raising his voice so that people know how serious he is. But there's a reason Lutnick doesn't want people to call it inflation - he wants us to shut up about it and pretend none of this is happening.

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell was held in contempt of court by a judge this week for failing to turn over court ordered documentation of the traffic that he received to his website for the years 2022 and 2023. This is part of the lawsuit filed against Lindell by software company Smartmatic, and the material that they had been seeking would be used to prove that Lindell profited significantly off of his lies about the company. 

Plenty of Trump's supporters were happy about his decision to once again temporarily delay tariffs on most of the goods coming from Mexico, but there were loads of MAGA fanatics that viewed it as a sign of weakness. Trump was trashed on his own social media platform by the very people who love him the most as they accused him of being a flip-flopper, a coward, and even a backstabber.

Sales of Tesla vehicles across the globe are tanking and that cratering is directly tied to Elon Musk's embrace of right wing policies and politicians in the US and abroad. In Australia alone, sales have plummeted by more than 80%, and similar numbers are being seen across Europe. In the US, sales are starting to fall off, though not to the same degree as in other countries, but we'll get there. 

The numbers are in, and Donald Trump's address to the joint session of Congress this week is officially his lowest-rated address as President of the United States. In fact, he lost about 10 million viewers compared to the last time he gave a State of the Union speech to Congress. Americans are increasingly unwilling to listen to this madman rant about things he doesn't understand, and both the low viewership and his tanking approval rating are proof of that.

Donald Trump admitted during his address to Congress this week that Elon Musk is the person that is running the Department of Government Efficiency. This contradicts what Trump's own lawyers have told a judge in a case about the legality of the Department. And now the lawyer for the plaintiffs in the case has filed a new piece of "evidence" in the case, using Trump's own words from that address as evidence that Musk is actually the person running the department, which now creates a world of legal headaches for Trump's own lawyers.

The Department of Government Efficiency has made another $86 billion error because they really don't know how to do basic math. This is the second time in as many week's that the agency has claimed over $80 billion in "savings" that turned out to not exist at all. The Department is a complete waste of time and resources that continues to lie to the public, either because they are too stupid to know better or too corrupt to care. 

The Atlanta Federal Reserve released a shocking economic forecast this week, and it shows us exactly what we can expect from Donald Trump's economic policies. The prediction says that the economy is likely to begin shrinking earlier than expected, with the First Quarter possibly seeing a complete retraction of the growth that the country has seen over the last 4 years. In other words, Trump may have sent the country into a recession faster than any other president in history.

One of Donald Trump's DOJ lawyers was nearly laughed out of a federal courtroom this week after he provided an answer that onlookers described as "embarrassing." The lawyer was asked by the judge if the Trump administration objected to protecting consumers from fraud, and the lawyer admitted that he wasn't sure of the answer to that question. Laughter ensued, and the judge was not thrilled or amused with this flippant answer to such an easy question.

Over the weekend, Donald Trump re-stole the classified documents that he had taken to Mar-a-Lago at the end of his first administration, loading up about 15 boxes of documents aboard Air Force One and taking them down to Florida. Since he is now president, he would have the authority to do this if he declassified the documents or issued an executive order, but so far there's no indication that he has done either of those things. 

Cabinet members in the Trump administration have had enough of Elon Musk meddling in their offices, according to a new report from The Washington Post. These department heads - who were appointed by Trump and confirmed by the Senate - are getting annoyed with Musk's constant interference that is hindering the few people still working in the government from actually being able to do their jobs. Musk's meddling is causing the government to be far less efficient.

The Trump administration has decided to recalculate how GDP is determined by eliminating government spending from the equation - but not ALL government spending. They are only planning to stop calculating how much government employees are being paid in order to hide a potential drop in GDP after all the mass firings. This will be a way to convince the public that things are good, when the exact opposite will be true.

During an appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience on Friday, the world’s richest man and government parasite Elon Musk declared that Social Security was a “ponzi scheme.” This phrase has been used by Republicans for years to describe virtually any financial plan that they don’t like, but they have been particularly forceful with slapping this label onto Social Security. Musk and his fellow Republicans want people to suffer and work forever, that’s the bottom line.

Donald Trump continued his mass firings last week, on Thursday hitting the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the National Weather Service. By removing the very people that we rely upon for weather forecasting and warnings, Trump has endangered the entire country – right as severe weather is about to become a major concern for the very Red State citizens who put him back in office. 

Donald Trump and JD Vance’s behavior during their meeting with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky late last week was so atrocious that it may have permanently destroyed alliances that have existed for decades or longer. Following the disaster of a meeting, leaders across the world spoke out in support of both Ukraine and Zelensky, some taking direct shots at the juvenile behavior that US leaders engaged in.

A federal judge has ordered officials in the Trump administration to sit for depositions - which are sworn testimonies that can result in perjury charges if someone lies - to discuss the role of the Department of Government Efficiency and what they've been up to. This is a massive blow to the administration, as it could force officials to admit that sensitive data HAS been breached by the minions at the agency, and this ruling comes just days after the agency suffered a mass exodus of staffers. 

A top Republican pollster, Sarah Longwell, says that MAGA voters in the focus groups that she's been conducting are not happy AT ALL with what's going on with the Trump administration. She went as far as to say that many of them are already expressing buyers' remorse for putting him back in power. There have been reports of voters here and there saying this, but when a pollster is constantly running into this theme then it is clearly more widespread than we knew. Farron explains why this is such a positive sign.

Donald Trump and Elon Musk began the process of firing hundreds, possibly thousands, of air traffic controllers, and now they've realized that they apparently made a huge mistake. Musk took to Twitter this week to BEG former air traffic controllers that had either retired or left the field to return to their old jobs because, as he put it, "we have a shortage." The shortage exists because of HIM and his idiotic decisions.

Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt mocked members of the press during a recent podcast interview for not having any fun as they cover the Trump administration, and Donald Trump, specifically. Leavitt claimed that Trump is having "the time of his life" during his second term. But the amount of fun that Trump and Leavitt may be having is not being felt by anyone else across the country, as Trump's poll numbers plummet and the economy barrels towards a recession. Farron explains why this is anything but "fun."

Republican lawmakers have been experiencing tremendous backlash from their constituents at town hall events for the past week, which have then generated a ton of negative publicity for them. So they've now decided to just stop doing these events so that they don't have to face the voters or face the consequences of their actions in Washington, D.C. This is pure cowardice, and shows that Republicans are not ready to handle the responsibility that they've been given.

Tesla is quickly becoming the next MyPillow, as the company continues to tank because the owner decided to get into bed with Donald Trump. Elon Musk's losses from this week's Tesla stock crash were so great that he has now wiped out all of the gains (tens of billions of dollars) that he made following last November's election. And with boycotts taking place at Tesla dealerships across the globe, the stock is likely to dive even further. 

 Elon Musk's DOGE office isn't discriminating with their mass firings, and tons of Trump voters have been swept up in the efforts and have lost their jobs. Those MAGA folks are now speaking out and whining about the fact that THEY got fired when they thought it was just going to be everyone else. This might be the most perfect "Leopards Eating People's Faces" scenario that we've seen with Trump supporters so far.

Republican lawmakers have been leaving their Washington, D.C. bubble to go back to their districts and talk to voters. Unfortunately for them, things aren't going the way that they had anticipated. Republicans are being greeted by angry constituents who are fed up with the chaos from the Trump administration - and Republican Congress - and they want REAL solutions to the problems that they are facing.

In the span of just 90 minutes on Tuesday, the Trump administration managed to lose three separate preliminary court cases on issues ranging from government funding to immigration. The losses continue to pile up against the Trump administration, and so far they only have one "victory" to speak of (and even that one wasn't worth anything.) The problem is that Trump's lawyers have no idea what they're doing and they keep getting hammered by the judges. 

Donald Trump announced this week that he wanted to launch a "Gold Card" program for immigrants where they could simply pay $5 million to almost immediately get approval to become citizens of the United States. This is proof that Trump and his cronies are only interested in helping wealthy people - domestically and abroad - and that poor people have no room at the table in this administration.

Donald Trump is preparing to cut the government office that helps fund recovery efforts following natural disasters, which means that his campaign promise to help rebuild North Carolina after Hurricane Helene is never going to come true. This move would be particularly devastating for Red States, and therefore, MAGA voters, because the majority of natural disasters take place in those states and they'd be left with no federal assistance after the next disaster.

According to Donald Trump's fundraising team, the President has raised more than $500 million from donors AFTER the election, most of it coming in the days and weeks surrounding the inauguration. And this wasn't an accident - Trump actually demanded that any wealthy donor who wanted to get some time alone with him pay millions of dollars to make that happen. This is legalized bribery thanks to our corrupt Supreme Court.

A MAGA voter that voted for Trump in the last three elections told CNN this week that he can no longer believe the lies that are coming out of this administration - especially the ones being told by Elon Musk and DOGE. This particular voter is a good representation of what's happening with right wing voters all over the country as they start to wake up to reality. But don't get too optimistic - the voter still made it clear he'd vote for Trump all over again if he had the chance.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth admitted during an interview on Fox News that Donald Trump fired the top lawyers in the military so that there would be no one left to stand in his way and tell him "no." This is a dictator move, and it could be the telltale sign that Trump is preparing, at some point, to order the military to go against the United States Constitution. Whether it is for a foreign or domestic purpose remains to be seen, but smart money is on the latter.

More and more local Republican leaders from across the country are warning that Donald Trump's mass layoffs and the termination of government contracts could lead to mass unemployment that would cripple local economies. Economists themselves are now warning of a looming recession thanks to all of the cuts that are taking place, as our economy simply cannot handle the sudden impact of tens of thousands of people being out of work in a single month. This is almost like the COVID layoffs all over again.

The Trump administration has been forcing engineers throughout government agencies to scan through hundreds of thousands of documents on government websites to look for what are being called "banned words." These words include things like "woman" and "disabled" in the FDA database, while Health and Human Services is removing terms like "Biden", "transgender," and "diversity." This serves no purpose other than to attack vulnerable parts of society, as Farron explains.

A Republican lawmaker this week proposed a bill to rename Greenland to "Red, White, and Blueland." Forget for a second that we have no authority to rename other countries, the legislation sparked fury in Denmark, the country that controls Greenland, and their leaders are now lashing out at both Donald Trump and the American Republican Party for conducting themselves like children and alienating such a crucial ally.

Alina Habba made such a ridiculously stupid statement about the Constitution this week that it prompted critics to encourage her to "go back to law school." While standing on The White House lawn, Habba confidently told Fox News that the "separation of powers" means that "the president has the ultimate authority." That's not even close to being accurate, and the fact that she doesn't know that as a lawyer is horrifying. 

Trump voters have no idea how badly they are going to get screwed over for the next four years, even though Donald Trump is telling them on a near-daily basis. This week, Trump announced that he wants to completely get rid of FEMA and instead let states handle their own natural disasters, and he didn't even make it sound like the federal government would be offering financial assistance. This move, if he follows through, would actually screw over red states far more than blue states.

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has been in the crosshairs of Republican politicians for years, and now Elon Musk and a co-author of Project 2025 have effectively killed the agency. By slashing staffing and freezing funds, the agency is unable to complete their job of protecting consumers from corporate scams and abuse - something that the agency does very well and has delivered $20 billion to consumers who were wronged by corporations. But those days are over now thanks to the Trump administration.

Over the weekend, Donald Trump's Homeland Security Chief Kristi Noem went on CNN where she told host Dana Bash that the American public cannot trust the federal government. When Bash pointed out that Noem IS the government, she responded by saying, "Yes, that's what I mean." A bold admission from a braindead government official that she and the rest of the administration can't be trusted, but we should probably believe her at this point. 

Donald Trump has signed an order barring the US Department of Justice from enforcing or otherwise policing the bribery of foreign officials by people inside the United States. This means that American citizens, businesses, or even corrupt politicians and their families are being given the chance to bribe foreign officials in order to secure government contracts or other favors with foreign countries. This seems like the kind of order that is tailor-made to benefit the Trump family.

Multiple stories over just the last few days have proven that the team that Elon Musk has assembled at DOGE (and that includes Musk, himself) are actually worse than just being incompetent - They are stunningly, and dangerously, stupid. They ended up sending an email about a lawsuit to EVERY federal judge in the country instead of the judge overseeing the case, and reports also say that they are just feeding sensitive agency data into AI programs to then be told where to make cuts. 

Donald Trump's brand new attorney general Pam Bondi has already gotten to work on the biggest issue facing America today: Taking down DEI. Obviously, that isn't a big issue at all, but she has sent a memo to her entire DOJ instructing them to start investigating any publicly traded company that "does DEI," whatever that may mean. This is the start of the administration's attack on private businesses.

The first jobs report of the Trump administration was released on Friday, and it wasn't anything that anyone should be excited about. It was actually one of the worst post-COVID jobs reports that we've seen in years, and it fell tens of thousands of jobs short of predictions. The worst part is that this happened BEFORE the mass firings and layoffs (and deportations) that Trump has already put in motion, so it might actually be the best jobs report that we see for quite a while.

While Donald Trump was signing an executive order banning transgendered people from playing in sports, he went on a weird tangent about his desire to build a "beautiful ballroom" in The White House. But the way he suddenly pivoted to that topic, which had nothing to do with the issue at hand, and the way he continued to repeat certain words over and over again are all symptoms of severe cognitive problems. 

Donald Trump's brain is deteriorating at a rapid pace, and that's terrifying for the American public. He got on Truth Social this week and demanded that CBS have their broadcast license pulled by the FCC - a demand that came AFTER CBS released the full, unedited version of their 60 Minutes interview with then-Vice President Kamala Harris, which actually debunked Trump's previous claims. But the truth doesn't matter to him, and he's going to use his power and rage to take out the outlets that he hates.

The federal court system is actually doing a pretty good job of keeping Donald Trump in check at the moment, and their rulings against him are a reminder that he is not a dictator. Trump suffered yet another loss late this week when a federal judge paused his "fork in the road" offer to buyout federal workers who choose to resign, and this came after a federal judge barred Elon Musk and his team from accessing the Treasury's payment system.

Donald Trump, Jr. recently went on a hunting expedition in the country of Italy, and he didn't leave a great impression. Politicians in the country are now wanting the President's son prosecuted for killing an endangered species of duck, which he posted on his hunting website. This would be a big move for a foreign government, but it isn't out of the realm of possibility at this point.

Donald Trump's press secretary Karoline Leavitt has not had a great start to her career, and she made it worse this week with a linguistic flub that left critics mocking her across social media. But in their haste to attack her over the flub, the critics missed the context of her remarks, which is what they should have been paying attention to because it was nothing but lies and deflection. 

Fox News announced this week that they are adding a new host to their weekend lineup: Lara Trump. The daughter-in-law of the president will be hosting a show on Saturdays going forward. This is a blatant conflict of interest for both Lara and the network, but conservatives had nothing but praise for the move. Fox is officially a mouthpiece for the Trump administration.

Donald Trump went completely bonkers after he fell for a thoroughly debunked right wing conspiracy this week, and he took to Truth Social to make the problem so much worse. Conservatives alleged this week that the USAID office had given $8 million to media outlet Politico, but that never actually happened. But Trump's tirade about the alleged misuse of funds didn't come until AFTER the story had been debunked by multiple different media outlets, and he's going to use this rage to go after outlets that he hates.

The Trump administration, including Donald Trump himself, have tried multiple times this week to convince the public that Elon Musk can't do anything without Donald Trump's approval. But behind the scenes, a very different story is playing out. One source from the administration told The New York Times that "almost no one" is able to control Musk and that he does appear to be doing whatever the hell he wants without prior approval.

Both before and during his meeting with Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu this week, Donald Trump suggested that all Palestinians should be removed from Gaza and sent elsewhere. This is ethnic cleansing, and Netanyahu wasn't closed off to the idea. Trump claimed that this was for the good of the Palestinians, but he gave up the game when he then suggested that the US could invest in the land and build beautiful homes and resorts. He wants to carry out a genocide to build condos.

The Trump administration is rescinding protections for Venezuelan refugees that have been in the country under protected status to prevent them from being deported. This is a group of people who, even though they couldn't vote, overwhelmingly supported Donald Trump in the election, and now they are furious that he "used them" for political gain only to ship them out of the country at the first opportunity. This is a classic "I never thought leopards would eat MY face" moment.

The Trump administration suffered another crushing blow from a federal judge this week, as the restraining order that was put in place against his spending freeze was left in place. Trump's DOJ argued in court that he didn't have to abide by the court's original restraining order because they only addressed the memo from the Office of Management and Budget, and NOT Trump's executive order. It didn't matter in the eyes of the law, and that argument failed. 

Marjorie Taylor Greene announced this week that her DOGE Subcommittee in the House is going to be holding hearings with PBS and NPR to demand answers about their so-called "biased content." Greene specifically mentioned that neither outlet covered the "Hunter Biden laptop story," but a quick Google search proves that both outlets covered it extensively - and have provided updates for nearly 5 years! 

 Donald Trump may have temporarily paused the 25% tariffs against Canada and Mexico, but there are still more tariffs to come in the near future. And his blissful ignorance about who pays those tariffs could come back to haunt Republicans for years to come. A new poll has found that most Americans are NOT ok with their prices increasing as a result of his trade war, and they are well aware of who will be responsible when it happens.

Over the weekend, Elon Musk announced that he and his thugs at DOGE were preparing to "kill" the USAID department which helps fund disease cures and preventions as well as many other humanitarian causes across the globe. Musk has been ranting like a lunatic on Twitter about how much he hates the department, and his thugs essentially raided the building over the weekend, accessing areas that they weren't allowed to access. Everything about this is clearly illegal, but we can't depend on anyone to hold these people accountable.

Homeland Security secretary Kristi Noem refused to rule out sending migrant children and pregnant women to Guantanamo Bay as part of the mass deportations taking place right now. Noem was asked twice if that would happen, and both times she insisted that this is nothing new and that they were only going after the "worst of the worst." But we've already had confirmation that children and pregnant women have been rounded up, and the likelihood that they'll end up in Gitmo is through the roof.

Donald Trump appeared to threaten to go to war against the country of Panama if they didn't give the Panama Canal back to the United States. While talking to reporters, Trump said that we (the US) are "going to take it back, or something very powerful is about to happen." IT is hard to interpret that any other way than threatening military force against the sovereign country. The man is an insane tyrant, the world is on notice that he is unstable.

A memo sent out by the Department of Transportation is directing the agency to send federal funds for infrastructure projects to areas of the country with higher birth rates and marriage rates. This is absolutely insane, and there's really no other way to put it. These statistics have no bearing on infrastructure needs, and it is also ridiculously creepy that Republicans are so obsessed with how many babies people are having.

 Lara Trump defended her father-in-law's claims that DEI was somehow to blame for the deadly plane crash in D.C. last week, but the way she made her point left critics howling with laughter. Lara claimed that only "competent" people should be hired at ANY job in the country, which is coming from someone that isn't qualified or competent enough to hold any job at all, yet she somehow was put in charge of the Republican Party last year. 

According to a new report from The Wall Street Journal, aides to Donald Trump are scrambling to repair his image after his first two weeks in office have proven to be a complete disaster. The chaos that the administration has caused along with the dangerous incompetence is already wearing on the American public, and Trump's aides know that they have to fix the problem before it gets completely out of hand. But it may already be too late for that.

The Trump administration has sent out a memo ordering senior FBI officials to quit, retire, or otherwise resign or else they will all be fired on Monday. This is straight out of the Project 2025 playbook, which Trump adamantly denied he would be implementing upon taking office. Yet here we are, and nearly every single order Trump has given mirrors the plans laid out in Project 2025.

 In a post on Truth Social this past week, Donald Trump announced that "very soon" he would be dismantling the public education system in the country and "returning it to the states." This is a disaster waiting to happen, as most states don't even come close to having enough money to fund public education, and if they are given discretion with federal money, it will go to other projects instead.  Donald Trump is refusing to let anyone blame the chaos that his administration has caused for the deadly plane crash that took place in Washington, D.C. this week. And in order to make sure he doesn't get blamed, he signed an executive order on Thursday that effectively places all the blame on former President Biden and his so-called "DEI policies." That's not even close to what happened, and the preliminary FAA report on the incident proves it. 

Republican Senator Tommy Tuberville took time during the Senate confirmation hearing of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. to boast about the fact that his granddaughter is not going to be vaccinated because, as Tuberville put it, her parents "did their own research." The "do your own research" crowd is exceptionally dangerous because they don't know HOW to do research, and they are just reading conspiracy pieces online written by quacks and freaks. Scientists do research in labs, not by Googling things with a confirmation bias, as Farron  explains.

The Trump administration's freeze on federal loans and grants was put on hold by a judge this week and then immediately rescinded by the Office of Management and Budget that issued the freeze. Ordinarily, this would put an end to the lawsuit before the judge, but thanks to Trump's press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, the lawsuit is still alive with fresh ammo against the administration. Leavitt had fired off a social media post explaining the "secret" plan of the administration, and lawyers immediately added that to the lawsuit.

Donald Trump has taken the GOP's assault on transgendered people and teachers to a new level this week by signing an executive order that allows the Department of Justice to begin prosecuting teachers who support transgender and nonbinary students. But the order is much darker than it would seem - if a teacher uses pronouns for a student that do not correspond with the gender assigned to them at birth, they will be prosecuted. This is about to lead to all sorts of chaos in the education system.

The Trump administration has said multiple times in the last two weeks that they are currently only rounding up immigrants who pose "security risks" to the United States and that their raids were focused on removing violent criminals from the country. That was never true, and now we have confirmation of it. According to officials in Colombia, the flights that they are now accepting from the US have not contained A SINGLE CRIMINAL, but there have been plenty of children and pregnant women aboard that have been deported.
