I often reflect on how she balanced her role as a mother while being a supportive wife, even from afar during the years we spent apart.

I enjoyed my time with Earsel Pearl.  This powerful woman of God comes to us from Alabama and has two children. She is such a beautiful soul!!  Every encounter I've had with this beauty is a time I have felt refreshed.  She knows how to minister to the soul!  Her testimony, like many of my guests is unique and is worth sharing.  She walked an unexpected path which led to divorce, but God get's the glory out of her life.  As I consider the many gems she spoke, one that stood out the most is the ide that it was necessary that our path led us here!!

Over the past two years, I have learned so much about myself and the ways in which I was deceived.  God used my deception however to hold me in a place, when I could have gone wherever I chose to go as a single woman.  God is keeping you, even when you can't see clearly.  Continue to trust him for the answers and keep believing his promises.  The Church is the bride of Christ, and I am thankful for the signs of his returning.  I believe the rise of kingdom marriages is a confirmation of God fulfilling his promise to the Church.  He will perfect his bride for the marriage super!

It's another episode with yours truly!  I'm so glad you are spending a bit of time with me.  In this episode I get you caught up on how things are going these days.  At the same time i want to encourage you to keep your position where God desires you to be.  He is pouring out his spirit, His anointing, his blessings.  This is no time to be outside looking in.  Get in line with God.

I had the opportunity to sit with Natalia Chai as she shared her journey of overcoming a narcissistic relationship.  She talked about the importance of having good soil for something good to grow.  She described how she had to be replanted out of a stony place into good soil; she was regenerated in her heart.  She made a decision to break free from an unholy tie with someone and live a single and whole life of purity.  We are reminded in 1 Timothy 4:12 to "Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in faith, in purity." (KJV).

I totally enjoyed this amazing conversation with my friend, Angelle Zachery from Louisiana. She is a Psalmist (Worship Leader), Vocal Coach, LPN (nurse), and stay-at-home-mom.  She has two beautiful children whom she protects and loves dearly.  Angelle shares her story of overcoming two failed marriages, and acknowledges her bad choices in the process.  She also acknowledges that God's plans supersedes her own and that ultimately He will remain the center of her life.  No matter how messy things get we are reminded that God makes all things beautiful in His time! We all can take a page from her story today and agree that all things are working together for our good!  She overcame the shame of the past and is a living testimony of God's grace.  Be encouraged as you listen today!

In this episode I vent a bit about my feelings this morning, concerning my children and the academic challenges they've had.  I realize that at some point as a parent it is important to realize what you can't control and allow what is, to be.  I give my children to God and help them where I can.  I have to guide them in life, but God and they will ultimately be responsible for who they become!  One important note of encouragement, is to ensure you are still guiding your teens and young adults.  They need you mom and dad!

As I continue in the vein of P.R.A.Y, I talk about praying without ceasing and allowing every idol to come down. I use the scripture from 1 Samuel 12 when the people asked for a King and Samuel spoke his farewell speech to them.  In that he reminded the Israelites that they were the one who asked for a King.  It reminded me of my previous marriage.  As I considered the past, I am reminded that God granted me the desires of my heart, but it was his plan that I would learn from my mistakes.  I would come to realize that no one is to be revered more than God, not even the man he has promised for me in the future!

Hello Friends!  In this episode, I share my heart as usual.  I am in a new season of leading in a new capacity, a new role as Worship Pastor, and I find myself asking questions!  I am grateful that the Lord has given me much, and with that, I have great responsibility!  I emphasize the need for each other as human beings!  We are each going through something.  Let's each find a friend we can lean on.  God is our source, and he provides relationships as a means for healing, growth, and support.  If you feel isolated in this season, it may be because God has set you aside for his use, but he also wants you to fellowship with others.  Do not be isolated intentionally, but be intentional with your support system!  You need a friend.

In this episode, I am candid about the difficulty of carrying the cross given to me.  I have found ways to try to escape, but they don't work!  Are you like me who is sometimes overwhelmed by the heaviness of the walk or your assignment, that you want to give up?  I found myself in that space recently.  I wanted to throw in the towel, but decided it is better to take up my cross and follow HIm.  I am willing to stay obedient to the cross to win Christ.  I read from James chapter 1 : 12 to 18 twice for you.  I wanted to reiterate the point that God wants to lead you out of temptation, not into it. He wants to bless us!

The cross you bear now, will lead you into your promise and into a victorious life!

In this episode I share my testimony of wanting to fulfill certain desires.  Going from married to unmarried is quite a transition.  Being in the wait again, may seem difficult to do, but it can be done by the help of God.  We are often drawn away by our own lust according to James 1: 14.  It is important that we place our own will under subjection of the word and never forget to remain transparent before God.  We must recognize the consequences of going down the wong path.  So what will your lack of patience cost you?  Consider the bigger difficulty of creating a delay.  I would rather take the difficult path now, than a delayed, difficult path.

In today's episode I wanted to talk about your mind, will, and your emotions.  How do we know when someone has a good heart?  Each of us should check our heart, because God is looking at the heart.  He is not looking at the outward appearance like some of us do (1 Samuel 16:7 Amp).  Since He is looking at our heart we need to check it often to ensure we are holding good treasures and not bad things in our hearts (Luke 6:45).  In this case the heart is our mind:  our soul.  God gives the recipe for how we should think in Pilippians 4: 1-9.

I put my therapist hat on for a bit in this episode imploring you to not neglect your heart, but get to the root of the matter.

In this video, I share the valleys of my experience these  days, but share how the Lord has been helping me through.  I share a clip of another video I did  not air, showing me being melancholy.   However, as I review that clip, it is so evident how the word of God and a song can uplift you when you need it most.  I am thankful for being a person who has studied the word of God because when I need it most, it comes to my memory.  

I play a couple of my sister's songs from her Hymns to Him album.  The first one is played in the background to the inserted video clip.  That song is called "Take My Life and Let it Be," song 3 on the album.  In the end, please enjoy another song by her, Sheree Williams, from that same album (song 4) called Jesus Saves (Medley)."

In this episode, I talk about the challenges of managing a separation over the past year and few months, including the financial ups and downs. i talk about the emotional toll that separation and divorce is having on me and my children.  Though many bad things happen in life, divorce being one of them, God hates it, because he wants to protect us from unnecessary pain.  He granted a writing of divorce because of the hardness of our hearts, but even God can control the heart and knows how to turn it, just as he did Pharoah and others in the bible.  He knows how to give us the desires of our hearts, especially in order to free us from bondage. and many of us cannot avoid the truth of what our heart is telling us.  He is in touch with our humanity and wants us to experience peace and joy.  He is a father that wants to protect His children, but He allows us to walk the journey for his ultimate glory and purpose.  Enjoy this episode of reflection.

I dedicate this episode in loving memory of my sister, Sheree Williams.  Gone but not forgotten.  

In this episode I reflect on season 2.  You will enjoy the slideshow and voice recording highlighing Sabrina Bethel's wedding.  She was on the first episode of season 2 - "She Became Unstuck."  Other interviewees of the season are also highligted in this episode.
You will also notice a reflection of my eldest sister, Sheree Williams.  Her birthday was on the 15th of July (the day of this recording).  She would have been 49 years old.  It has been 8 years since her transition, and I continue to celebrate her life and legacy.

In this episode I reflect on my marriage of 19 years and the cycle of emotional abuse.  I want us to stop normalizing abuse and end the cycle of domestic violence in the home.  This is for the many people who suffer in silence.  It took me a long time to accept that I was a victim.  I had to get to a place where i acknowledge it, so that I can heal.  You are not alone.  You can heal!  I pray for both the victim and the abuser, because at some point the abuser was the victim.  Do not remain broken, but heal!!  Trauma is real and there are resources available for you.
