The truth is that we are not good enough, at least not good enough to be redeemed in God's eyes, yet Jesus is more than enough! the Bible tells us that Jesus nailed our sins to the cross. So when you feel ashamed, or not good enough...that's not God making you feel that way. Could be the other guy, could be you. Either way, stop it. You are loved...you are able to be redeemed and never feel like you are not enough again. Trust in Jesus!

The biggest is that there are consequences for your sin. Understand that he is not saying your sin will take away your Salvation. Scripture is very clear that once you accept Christ as your Lord, the price of sin is paid for (Romans 5:8). So he is not addressing you losing your salvation, but he is stating that if you dumb things there are consequences. If you are speeding, you still get a ticket. If you walk out in traffic, good chance you will get hit by a vehicle. A less tangible but more important consequence of sin is that you move farther away from God. When you feel God is distant, or when He just doesn't care, you have moved far from God. What does that? Our sin!

Understand that he is not saying your sin will take away your Salvation. Scripture is very clear that once you accept Christ as your Lord, the price of sin is paid for (Romans 5:8). So he is not addressing you losing your salvation, but he is stating that if you dumb things there are consequences. If you are speeding, you still get a ticket. If you walk out in traffic, good chance you will get hit by a vehicle. A less tangible but more important consequence of sin is that you move farther away from God. When you feel God is distant, or when He just doesn't care, you have moved far from God. What does that? Our sin!
