How has YOUR MOTHER affected your self worth and your Faith Life?
I've learned to take my self-value from God's assessment of me, as opposed to what my mother, siblings and children think of me... even though my mother profoundly blessed me with her lifelong love and practice of the Catholic Faith.

A Catholic Mother has the ability and calling to create the culture in her home. My mother did this to an extraordinary degree.

IN PART 2 of my talk about my beautiful mother, I share more details, including some of my challenges and conflicts.

My dear mother took her 4 children on her personal journey of Faith and Life and impacted each one of us in a unique and personal way. 

She sacrificed her friendships, lifestyle and polite society relationships to create a haven and home life that was protected from error and the moral pollutions of modern day life.

In this episode, I share personal and vulnerable details of my own feelings of inadequacy and why I have always been willing to seek first the kingdom of Heaven in my life.

How and why I have almost always been willing to be a 'fool for Christ'.

I share pivotal philosophies ingrained within me by my holy and dynamic and courageous MOTHER.

I’ve created this podcast channel called “The Catholic Whisperer” because I really care about souls... and I want to share gentle messages of Faith, Family and Fulfillment, to touch your soul and help you to thrive in your life and faith.

Life is so short. I must share with others what God has shared with me! 

My Faith has been my #1 priority since I was a small child. I love it.

I have been bullied because of it - I was punched in the stomach when I was about 8 and told we were “The Holy Family” (said with derision) but that never deterred me from loving or sharing my Faith.

I never once have even considered walking away from Jesus. That is because of my home life - and the Precious Graces Jesus has given me.

My mother taught me that Jesus was a “sign of contradiction” and so must I be if I wanted to be like Him!

I was very blessed to be born in the family I was.

I was nurtured, protected, educated and inspired by my home life and by my maternal grandmother and holy priests and nuns.

I had a very unusual education.

Over time, I want to share my stories and life experiences with you, to hopefully help you, inspire you and motivate you to believe in who you are in Christ Jesus so that you will in turn share the Light of Faith with everyone you meet as well!
