The Whole Community Child Protection (WCCP) project brings the Bedford- Stuyvesant community together to educate and empowers one another to prevent child sexual abuse. WCCP was created in partnership between Darkness to Light and Childhood USA. The WCCP Bed-Stuy podcast is co-hosted by Nicole G. Epps, Co-founder and Consultant of the WCCP project, Amy Nguyen, Deputy Director of Research at Darkness to Light, and Carla Davis, Projects Manager at Childhood USA.

Child sexual abuse and exploitation is a topic that is far too often overlooked - it’s uncomfortable to talk about, it’s difficult to confront, but it is an ever-present epidemic. And unfortunately, communities of color and vulnerable communities like Bed Stuy are disproportionately impacted. This podcast aims to disrupt this trend of silence by talking openly about child sexual abuse. This can break down barriers and reduce stigma on the issue in order for adults to prevent CSA in our communities.

Over the course of this podcast series, we will hear from different voices in the community who will provide insight on their involvement in the fight to end child sexual abuse and exploitation. We challenge you to have these conversations in your circles, how should YOU begin to break through the silence and fear? Learn more at www.wccpbedstuy.org.
