Z has a big bone to pick with the NBA and its current CBA as it hampers free agency and the current layout of the 65 game threshold to qualify for year end awards.

The NFL is in the off season sure, but we are in the middle of the combine and free agency is right around the corner baby! We breakdown some of the prospects to keep your eye on and the FAs that we want our teams to take a swing at.

The boys give you the details on what honestly was a bit of a boring game for anyone who isn't a Seahawks fan, Chuck of course lost his mind, What a party it was though, we eat well and obviously drank well. The 12 takes his time to gloat a bit and Trev and Z take on the offense vs defense match ups to give the actual sports coverage.

We hit a good conversation into the NBA as CP3 retires and we finally start to hear about real expansion talks! There were some trades of note as well!

The NFL Hall of Fame inductees are officially out and same with NFL Honors, which closes out a pod hat bet. 

The boys get out in front of the Mock Draft season as we put together a 1st Rd before Free Agency

These episode opens with the new Michigan football hire in Coach Whittingham. Late move but necessary. Z accidently buys a sour... but absolutely loves it!

The CFP is continued and we get to the 2nd round match ups. We preview each game and give you our predictions.

In the NBA, Wemby and the Spurs seem to have the OKC Thunders number and this makes Chuck warm and fuzzy on the inside. 

In NFL news, the Seahawks are thankful that DK Metcalf is no longer their headache as he has a loss of temper, and this time actually throws a punch at a fan, earning him a 2-game suspension and losing a grip of guaranteed money along the way.

We also preview the last week of the regular season! Week 18 is upon us! Not to mention our year end/final QB Rankings as QB Rule The World is coming to the end of its first run.

CFP is now fully underway, and just like anyone who knows ball, we saw the blowouts coming from a mile away. JMU vs Oregon was bad, and Tulane vs Ole Miss was even worse! Although both Bama vs. OU lived up to the billing, the other marquee matchup of TA&M vs Miami was a literal snoozefest. The boys breakdown all the good and bad of the first round and preview what the news years days game might look like. 

Per usual during this time of we side bar into some wild topics, but the main focus of the first segment is the NBA, there has been some good ball so far, but the panel opens a discussion on wither the talent is coming in too young or just under prepared, as it seems less and less rookies are making an impact right away. 

Of course, our eyes light up when we get to the topic of the NFL as Trev and Chuck have a lot still to play for and Z is dancing his hardest to try for that #1 overall draft pick so his Raiders can take their new franchise QB in Mendoza. We were gifted two of the craziest comebacks in recent memory with the Seahawks downing the Rams on a 2 point conversion and the Bears snagging an onside kick to ruin the Packers hopes of winning the NFC North. Keep your eyes peeled as we are now officially in the last two weeks of the regular season!!

This week we have to open with some seriously unfortunate news as two of the biggest names in the NFL go down with ACL injuries on the same weekend. Sorry to Chief and Packer's fans...

Did the CFP get this bracket right? Z opens the floor going back on his "I like that the little man makes the tourney" Notre Dame sneaks a back door deal with the CFP that if they end their regular season top 12, they can't be left out of the CFP!  Plus, the boys create another Hat Bet and fill out their predictions for the bracket.

Mendoza absolutely crushes the Heisman vote, and Pavia puts his foot in his mouth in response to coming in 2nd.

NBA Cup finals are set, and we'll see the Knicks take on the Spurs in LV for the trophy. Been some good ball and we're excited to see how the season unfolds.

Not to mention... The MLB is having a very quiet but exciting off season so far, got some serious talent on the move.

Our bread and butter takes center stage as we cover the NFL standings per division, the remaining schedules and an up to date look at the playoffs if the season ended today. Should the NFL take a look at how teams seed for the playoffs? Should winning your division guarantee a home game?

Drama in Michigan can't go unreported, but let's not put too much shine on what is an awful and boneheaded decision. The big question is who takes over for Big Blue next?

And last, but certainly not least... the panel has a big news drop as we are going to begin a new side bar business adventure. We're going to start grading, trading and selling both sports and Pokeman cards on Ebay! Long since a passion of all of ours, we gon' try to make some Money!!

We have the final CFP bracket set and the panel has some serious debates about how the playoff committee came to the final 12 as there let's say some "room" for arguments.  Miami is thanking their lucky stars and Notre Dame falls all the way out! (then refuses a bowl invitation) Upon that conclusion, the panel also debates if when a loss matters.

Raiders fire Chip Kelly and Z is okay with it. We dive into the most recent hat bets that are to be paid off as multiple are still on the way! 

There is some serious NBA lovin' in this episode, as Ginnais asks for a trade out of Milwaukee and the Clippers sign and then subsequently dump CP3 and the NBA Cup is on fire as it comes closer to the finals.

Big games only for the NFL coverage as we breakdown week 14. This season has been an unpredictable one to say the least, the playoff picture is starting to take shape as we head into the final month of the regular season.

And... Trev's Top Ten is back in full effect for drop 2.0! There is a HEAVY debate in the top 4. We're curious to know if y'all agree!

It's the week after Thanksgiving and the boys give a little love to what they did over the holiday. 

Bunch of news coming out of College Football right now, Lane Kiffin accepts the job at LSU and leaves Ole Miss on the doorstep of their first ever CFP game... NCAA you need to fix this timing!! We also give up to date rankings of the playoff bracket heading into conference championship weekend... How the hell did Duke make the ACC title game?!?

The NBA is full tilt, and the games are getting intense. Those boys want that money!! Tip of the cap to ya NBA, it's made the first 8 weeks of the regular season close to must watch TV.

Boy Howdy do we love our NFL round here! We get to Week 13 as the cream is rising to the top in most of the divisions, also a breakdown of the remaining schedules for the contenders in both the AFC and NFC.

Then comes the big drop... QB Rankings 3.0!! Some shaking and moving by all three of the panel and of course Trev's got a bone to pick!

This week's fandom circles back to the new videos games we've been getting into and Chuck does a DEEP dive on Final Fantasy 7 and his enjoyment of the Remake series.

This episode starts with just dos amigos as T-Money is out at a family gathering. So, Zach and Chuck take the wheel to drop some beer and food knowledge on your plate.

The NCAAF slate this week definitely hit a down as we have the late season lollipops for powerhouses like UGA and Bama, NCAA... You can do better! But... some of the other games were absolute bangers. We continue our CFP coverage as we round towards the home stretch

NBA is in full swing as the we start to see a separation of those elite teams (OKC) :( but of course Z is geeked about his new look Lakers. The NBA Cup is showing out, and the games are intense!  Be sure to follow those.

In some MLB news Chuck's M's resign 1st baseman Josh Naylor (Great move BTW) and free agency is starting to take off.

Trev makes it back to the panel for the 2nd segment! So, we get into our bread and butter, the NFL! Check out them fits! haha, we here are just trying to stay in season! Wolvie leads the way as we dive into what was more than likely the best World Series we have seen in 20 plus years. Them damn LA Dodgers are nothing to mess with! Getting two on the road to snag the win was impressive to say the least.

Chuck then in turn pays off his hat bet to as Trev won the MLB Playoff Bracket. Deeper in the 1st segment Zach highlights all off the seven current head coach openings across NCAAF and asks the boy's there top 3 options. As usual the panel also gives a breakdown of all the action that happened this most recent week as well as dropping the new AP top 25. Every week following will be the CFP rankings, those begin to matter more as the regular season is hitting the home stretch.

What a crazy week in the headlines!! The NBA had a bombshell dropped! The FBI formally arrested both Trailblazer's head coach Chauncey Billups for being involved with the NY Mobs and an illegal gambling ring, and the Heat's Terry Roizer for fixing game outcomes and giving away inside information... SO CRAZY!!

The World Series is underway and unfortunately Chuck's Ms didn't make the cut :( But it looks like it should be an excellent series between the Dodgers and the Jays.

Teams are taking no BS in their stake for football supremacy, as LSU fires Brian Kelly mid-season, we also breakdown the week's action and give you the updated AP poll.

QB's rule the world! We give our updated standings for our season long segment and take a dip into how our fantasy football years are going. Just as well as giving you the rundown on all the action from the gridiron itself and highlight some of the biggest surprises the NFL has seen through the first half of the season.

Zach and Chuck start with a review of their time spent out on the beautiful golf course (Chuck's first time in 20+ years) 

Then into all the juice you guys know and love! NCAAF week #4 is in the books, and we also give a rundown on the AP top 25 as so many things have changed! Not to mention... The NCAA finally makes a move to potentially close the transfer portal to only one time a season to allow schools to keep players through the bowl games and CFP and of course, we also look ahead and drop a preview of the upcoming slate in week #5. 

NFL Week 3 is discussed at length, and we get deeper into our analytics on QBs Rule the World! Bad news in Niner country as Nick Bosa has been confirmed to have torn his ACL and will miss the remainder of the season. Plus some games to watch out for in Week 4!! And Z has a bone to pick with a very certain stat that never seems to be recorded properly...

MLB is in its final regular season week and Chuck's M's seem to be hot right at the right time! (We all strongly dislike the Astros!) Can't wait to see how the playoff bracket shakes out!

We welcome back the great and hilarious Mrs. Kailee Lane and the panel is rife with excitement as we are the doorstep of Week 1 of the NFL! 

It all starts with some review of college ball as we had the biggest Week 1 match up of #1 UT vs #3 OSU in NCAAF history. It would end up being rather lack luster, but we also saw a great upset happen in the top ten as well! All in all though, nothing but awesomeness is due ahead!

We lost a couple of Icons this week and the boys give a cheers and some fond memories for both Hulk Hogan and the Prince of Darkness himself Ozzy Osbourne. 

The first real debate that comes up this episode is about our love for breakfast and the foods we enjoy eating at that time. (Some like it sweet haha)

For the first time in quite some time, the panel dives deep into the MLB standings, playoff races and some of the more important metrics that are tell the story of this season so far. The College Baseball and Softball World Series are lighting up! For the first time in what seems like an eternity the OU Sooners are NOT going to be the softball champs!

NHL Stanley Cup is a rematch! Can Canada get a Dub for the first time in 30 years? 

Of course, the damn Thunder make the NBA Finals... big oof from Chuck. But the Pacers look like maybe the right team to keep them from the mountain top.

The boys end up spending a good amount of time gushing about the tradition and enjoyment that live sporting events bring. (It's one of the reason the Pod exists!)

Plus, there is some good takes on the NFL as all 32 teams are now in the OTA section of the off season with training camp just right around the corner. Look out for some new jerseys to be dropping as well!!

It's that magical time of the year, Brackets are alive for the Madness of March and your favorite sports casting crew is here to drop our Mock Draft 1.0! 

In this episode, the panel dive into some of the potential rule changes that are being voted on at the annual NFL league meeting of the head coaches and GMs. One team... which shall go unnamed, is getting soft. Trying to ban the "tush push" and another is looking to change a rule that they just can't seem to comply with haha. In other news, the Bengals finally open up their check book and PAY them talent WRs they have!

It's also OPENING DAY for MLB... at least in Japan! Our resident MLB Guru Zach as some heavy thoughts and opinions about this here topic. 

Both college and NBA basketball are in the best part of their season's, with March Madness being in full effect and the pro's having some awesome battles to figure out the last playoff positions.

This week's Pod brings us just Chuck and Trevor to the table, but we put on some great debates none the less! It's NFL Combine week and there is a hot topic at hand as many of the tippy top recruits in some of the key positions will not be working out. 

 We shine some love on the NBA as it starts to round the final corner of the regular season, and we see the biggest stars shine (Steph is an animal!) Which also brings us to discuss who will be the new face of the league as Lebron will sooner or later have to give up his crown... and how do you feel about load management? We have some clear thoughts on the panel.

In the NFL, Matt Stafford reaches an extension in LA and the guy's question what the hell the Bangles are trying to do in Cinnci. 

We also continue our breakdown of the NFL divisions, this time tackling the AFC&NFC South (some of these teams need some massive help!)

Not gonna lie, the beer reviews on this episode were not the panel's favorite, but hey... You can't win em all haha.

Sports talk starts with our take on the craziness that has been the NHL Four Nations Cup, so much energy and pride! Could this change the direction the NHL takes with their All-Star break?

In some other big news, the NFL loses an All-Pro to retirement and another Pro Bowl QB is looking for a new bag. Plus, a huge piece heading into this free agency period is left unsigned by his current team.

The NCAA is gathering to review the finer points of the new landscape of the NIL, the CFP and the layout (and payout) of the ever-changing conferences. 

We also continue our breakdown of each NFL division, with this episode covering the North. Some big surprises on both sides of the conference! 

The Fandom brings a great topic to the table. "What trades impacted you as a sports fan?" It covers a glut of different ideas and let us hear yours! We love getting a different perspective.

Balls&Brews are back with Pod #85 up and running for your listening and viewing pleasure! 

This week the panel takes a deep dive into their shared Super Bowl Sunday experience! We recap the game and also give you a little insight to all of the festivities including our food and drink selection. We most certainly hope you and yours had a killer time as well!

Balls&Brews are back with a very special episode as we recorded this on the morning of Super Bowl Sunday! So, we obviously lock in our picks for the game and who we think will win. There are some great prop bets this year!

There is also plenty of meat on the NBA bone as the trade deadline comes to a close, the panel details all the biggest stars that are on the move. 

Trev's Warriors make a big swing for Jimmy Buckets! We all hope that works out. 

Deebo Samuel and Myles Garrett both request a trade (one seems much more likely than the other!) Plus, we cover NFL honors, where we were right and where we were wrong! (Downie gets to brag a bit)
