1 Yehovah, my heart is meek before you.  I don't consider myself better than others.  I'm content to not pursue matters that are over my head - such as your complex mysteries and wonders - that I'm not yet ready to understand.  2 I am humbled and quieted in your presence.  Like a contented child who rests on its mother's lap, I'm your resting child and my soul is content in you.  3 O people of God, your time has come to quietly trust, waiting upon Yehovah now and forever.  

5 I wait for Yehovah, my soul waits, And in His word I do hope.  6 My soul waits for Yehovah more than those who watch for the morning - Yes, more than those who watch for the morning.  7 O Israel, hope in Yehovah; For with Yehovah there is mercy, and with Him is abundant redemption.  8 And He shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

2 Chronicles 7:14-16
Then if my people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.  15 My eyes will be open and my ears attentive to every prayer made in this place.  16 for I have chosen this temple and set it apart to be holy - a place where my name will be honored forever.  I will always watch over it; for it is dear to my heart.  

O my God, my soul is in despair within me; therefore I remember You from the land of the Jordan and the peaks of Hermon, from Mount Mizar.  7 Deep calls to deep at the sound of Your waterfalls; all Your breakers and Your waves have rolled over me.  8 Yehovah will command His lovingkindness in the daytime; and His song will be with me in the night, a prayer to the God of my life.

We will build a tower of redemption to protect her.  Since she is vulnerable, we will enclose her with a wall of cedar boards.

But now I have grown and become a bride, and my love for him has made me a tower of passion and contentment for my beloved.  I am now a firm wall of protection for others, guarding them from harm.  This is how he sees me - I am the one who brings him bliss, finding favor in his eyes.  

Many waters cannot quench love, nor can rivers drown it.  If a man tried to buy love with all his wealth, his offer would be utterly scorned.  

5 Who is this one?  She arises out of her desert, clinging to her beloved.  When I awakened you under the apple tree, as you were feasting upon me, I awakened your innermost being with the travail of birth as you longed for more of me.  

6 Fasten me upon your heart as a seal of fire forevermore.  This living, consuming flame will seal you as my prisoner of love.  My passion is stronger than the chains of death and the grave, all consuming as the very flashes of fire from the burning heart of God.  Place this fierce, unrelenting fire over your entire being.  

1 If only I could show everyone this passionate desire I have for you.  If only I could express it fully, no matter who was watching me, without shame or embarrassment.  2 I long to bring you to my innermost chamber - this holy sanctuary you have formed within me.  O that I might carry you within me!  I would give you the spiced wine of my love, this fully cup of bliss that we share.  We would drink our fill until... 3 His left hand cradles my head while his right hold holds me close.  We are at rest in this love.  4 Promise me, brides-to-be, by the gentle gazelles and delicate deer, that you'll not disturb my love until he is ready to arise.

Why would you seek a mere Shulamite like me?  Why would you want to see my dance of love?

Because you dance so gracefully, as though you danced with angels!

Your teeth are as white as sheep that are freshly washed.  Your smile is flawless, each tooth matched with its twin.  7 Your cheeks are like rosy pomegranates behind your veil.  8 Even among sixty queens and eighty concubines are countless young women, 9 I would still choose my dove, my perfect one the favorite of her mother, dearly loved by the one who bore her.  The young women see her and praise her; even queens and royal concubines sing her praises:  10 "Who is this, arising like the dawn, as fair as the moon, as bright as the sun, as majestic as an army with billowing banners?"

14 See how his hands hold unlimited power!  But he never uses it in anger, for his is always holy, displaying his glory.   His innermost place is a work of art - so beautiful and bright.  How magnificent and noble is this one - covered in majesty! 15 He's steadfast in all he does.  His ways are the ways of righteousness, based on truth and holiness.  None can rival him, but all with be amazed by him.  16 Most sweet are his kisses, even his whispers of love.  He is delightful in every way and perfect from every viewpoint.  If you ask me why I love him so, O brides-to-be, it's because there is none like him to me.  Everything about him fills me with holy desire!  And now he is my beloved - my friend forever.

13 The royal daughter is all glorious within the palace; Her clothing is woven with gold.  14 She shall be brought to the King in robes of many colors; the virgins, her companions who follow her, shall be brought to You.  15 With gladness and rejoicing they shall be brought; they shall enter the King's palace.  16 Instead of Your fathers shall be Your sons, whom You shall make princes in all the earth.  17 I will make Your name to be remembered in all generations; therefore the people shall praise Your forever and ever.

6 Your throne, O Elohim, is forever and ever; a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.  7 You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness more than Your companions.  8 All your garments are scented with myrrh and aloes and cassia.  Out of the ivory palaces, by which they have made you glad.  9 Kings' daughters are among your honorable women; at your right hand stands the queen in gold from Ophir. 

3 Gird your sword upon your thigh, O mighty one, with your glory and your majesty.   4 And in your majesty ride prosperously because of truth, humility and righteousness; and Your right hand shall teach you awesome things.  5 Your arrows are sharp in the hearts of the kings enemies; the peoples fall under you.  

1 My heart is overflowing with a good theme; I recite my composition concerning the King; my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.  2 You are fairer than the sons of men; grace is poured upon Your lips; therefore God has blessed You forever.  

O my God, my soul is in despair within me; therefore I remember You from the land of the Jordan and the peaks of Hermon, from Mount Mizar.  7 Deep calls to deep at the sound of Your waterfalls; all Your breakers and Your waves have rolled over me.  8 Yehovah will command His lovingkindness in the daytime; and His song will be with me in the night, a prayer to the God of my life.

But Yehovah Elohim says to the wicked:  "Why bother reciting my decrees and pretending to obey My covenant?  17 For You refuse My discipline and treat my words like trash.  18 When you see thieves, you approve of them, and you spend your time with adulterers.  19 Your mouth is filled with wickedness, and your tongue is full of lies.  20 You sit around and slander your brother your own mother's son.  21 While you did all this, I remained silent, and you thought I didn't care, but now I will rebuke you, , listing all My charges against you.  22 Repent, all of you who forget me, or I will tear you apart, and no one will help you.  23 But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors Me.  If you keep to My path, I will reveal to you the salvation of God."

O My people, listen as I speak.  Here are my charges against you, O Israel:  I am God, Your God!  8 I have no complaint about Your sacrifices or the burnt offerings you constantly offer.  9 But I don't need the bulls from your barns or the goats from your pens.  10 For all the animals of the forest are mine, and I own the cattle on a thousand hills.  11 I know every bird on the mountains, and all the animals of the field are mine.  12 If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for all the world is mine and everything in it.  13 Do I eat the meat of bulls?  Do I drink the blood of goats?  14  Make thankfulness your sacrifices to God, and keep the vows you made to the Most High.  15. Then call on Me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give Me glory.

The Mighty One, God Yehovah, has spoken and called the earth from the rising of the sun to its going down.  2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God will shine forth.  3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silent; a fire shall devour before Him, and it shall be very tempestuous all around Him.  4 He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that He may judge His people.  5 "Gather My saints together to Me, those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice."  6 Let the heavens declare His righteousness, for God Himself is Judge!

37 Look at those who are honest and good, for a wonderful future awaits those who love peace.   38 But the rebellious will be destroyed; they have no future.  39. Yehovah rescues the godly; he is their fortress in times of trouble.  40. Yehovah helps them, rescuing them from the wicked.  He saves them, and they find shelter in him.

oh my God, incline your ear to hear; open Your eyes and see our desolations, and the city which is called by Your Name, for we do not present our supplications before You because of our righteous deed, but because of Your great mercies,  19 O Yehovah, hear!  O Yehovah forgive!  O Yehovah listen and act!  Do not delay for Your own sake, my God, for Your city and your people are called by Your Name.

2 Chronicles 7:14-16
Then if my people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.  15 My eyes will be open and my ears attentive to every prayer made in this place.  16 for I have chosen this temple and set it apart to be holy - a place where my name will be honored forever.  I will always watch over it; for it is dear to my heart.  

32 The wicked watches the righteous, and seeks to slay him.  33 Yehovah will not leave him in his hand, or condemn him when he is judged.  34  Wait on Yehovah and keep His way, and He shall exalt you to inherit the land; when the wicked are cut off you shall see it.  35 I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a native green tree.  36 Yet he passed away, and behold, he was no more; indeed I sought him, but he could not be found.  

Depart from evil and do good; and dwell forevermore.  28 For Yehovah loves justice and does not forsake His saints, they are preserved forever, but the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off.  29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell in it forever.  30 The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of justice.  31 The law of his God is in his heart, none of his steps shall slide. 

The steps of a man are established by Yehovah, and He delights in his way.  24  When he falls, he will not be hurled headlong, because Yehovah is the One who holds his hand.  25  I have been young and now I am old, yet I have not seen the righteous begging bread.  26 All day long he is gracious and lends, and his descendants are a blessing.  

Yehovah know the days of the blameless, and their inheritance will be forever.  19 They will not be ashamed in the time of evil, and in the days of famine they will have abundance.  20 But the wicked will perish, and the enemies of Yehovah will be like the glory of the pastures, they vanish like smoke they vanish away.  21 The wicked borrows and does not pay back, but the righteous is gracious and gives.  22 For those blessed by Him will inherit the land, but those who are cursed by Him will be cut off.  

12 The wicked plots against the righteous and gnashes at him with his teeth.  13 Yehovah laughs at him, for He sees his day is coming.  14 The wicked have drawn the sword and bent their bow to cast down the afflicted and the needy, to slay those who are upright in conduct.  15 Their sword will enter their own heart, and their bows will be broken.  16 better is the little of the righteous than the abundance of many wicked.  17 For the arms of the wicked will be broken buy Yehovah sustains the righteous.  

7 Rest in Yehovah, and wait patiently for Him; do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.  8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; do not fret - it only causes harm.  9. For evildoers shall be cut off; but those who wait on Yehovah, they shall inherit the earth.  10 For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more; indeed, you will look carefully for his place, but it shall be no more.  11 But the meek shall inherit the earth, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.  

Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity, 2 for they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.  3  Trust in Yehovah , and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.  4 Delight yourself also in Yehovah, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.  5 commit your way to Yehovah, turst also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.  6 he shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.  

14 Yehovah says, "I will rescue those who love me.  I will protect those who trust in my name.   15 When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble.  I will rescue and honor them.  16 I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation."

A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.  8 Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked.  9 Because you have made Yehovah, who is my refuge, even the most High, your dwelling place, 10 no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.  12 In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.  13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.  

3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.  4 He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.  5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, 6 nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.  

Oh Yehovah, listen to my cry; give me the discerning mind you promised.  170 Listen to my prayer; rescue me as you promised.  171 Let praise flow from my lips, for you have taught me your decrees.  172 Let my tongue song about your word, for all your commands are right.  173 Give me a helping hand, for I have chose to follow your commandments.  174 O Yehovah, I have longed for your rescue, and your instructions are my delight.  175 Let me live so I can praise you, and may your regulations help me.  176 I have wandered away like a lost sheep; come and find me, for I have not forgotten your commands.  

161 Princes persecute me without a cause, but my heart stands in awe of Your word.  162 I rejoice at Your word as one who finds great treasure.  163  I hate and abhor lying, but I love Your law.  164 Seven times a day I praise You, because of Your righteous judgments.  165 Great peace have those who love Your law, and nothing causes them to stumble.  166  Yehovah, I hope for Your salvation, and I do Your commandments.  167 My soul keeps Your testimonies, and I love them exceedingly.  168 I keep Your precepts and Your testimonies, for all my ways are before You.  

153 Look upon my affliction and rescue me, for I do not forget Your law.  154 Plead my cause and redeem me; revive me according to Your word.  155 Salvation is far from the wicked, for they do not seek Your statutes.  156 Great are Your mercies, O Yehovah; revive me according to Your ordinances.  157 Many are my persecutors and my adversaries, yet I do not turn aside from Your testimonies.  158 I behold the treacherous and loathe them, becuase they do not keep Your word.  159 Consider how I love Your precepts; revive me, O Yehovah, according to Your lovingkindness.  160 The sum of Your word is truth, and every one of Your righteous ordinances is everlasting.  

145 I cry out with my whole heart; Hear me, O Yehovah!  I will keep Your statutes.  146 I cry out to You; save me, and I will keep Your testimonies.  147. I rise before the dawning of the morning, and cry for help;  I hope in Your word.  148 My eyes are awake through the night watches,  that I may meditate on Your word.  149  Hear my voice according to your lovingkindness;  O Yehovah, revive me according to Your justice.  150 They draw near who follow after wickedness; they are far from Your law.  151 You are near, O Yehovah, and all Your commandments are truth.  152 Concerning Your testimonies, I have known of old that Your have found them forever. 

Righteous are You, Yehovah, and upright are all Your judgements!  138 Your testimonies that You commanded are righteous and  very faithful!  139 Our zeal has consumed us, because our adversaries have forgotten Your law.  140 Your Law is very pure, therefore Your servants love it!  141 We are small and despised, but we do not forget Your precepts.  142 Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, because Your Law is the truth!  143 Trouble and anguish have overtaken us, but Your laws are our delights.  144 The righteousness of Your testimonies is everlasting, giving us understanding, so we may live, O great Yehovah!  

Your testimonies are wonderful; therefore my soul observes them.  130 The unfolding of Your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.  131 I opened my mouth wide and panted, for I longed for Your commandments.  132 Turn to me and be gracious to me, after Your manner with those who love Your name.  133 Establish my footsteps in Your word, and do not let any iniquity have dominion over me.  134 Redeem me from the oppression of man, that I may keep Your precepts.  135 Make Your face shine upon Your servant and teach me Your statutes.  136 My eyes shed streams of water, because they do not keep Your law.  

4 Yehovah is high above all nations, His glory above the heavens.  5 Who is like Yehovah our God, who dwells on high, 6 Who humbles Himself to behold the things that are in the heavens and in the earth?  7 He raises the poor out of the dust, and lifts the needy out of the ash heap,  8 that He may seat him with princes - with the princes of His people.  9 He grants the barren woman a home, like a joyful mother of children.  Praise Yehovah!

Praise Yehovah!  Praise, O servants of Yehovah, Praise the Name of Yehovah!  2 Blessed be the name of Yehovah from this time forth and forevermore!  3 From the rising of the sun to its going down Yehovah's name is to be praised.  

121 I have done justice and righteousness; do not leave me to my oppressors.  122  Be surety for Your servant for good; do not let the arrogant oppress me.  123 My eyes fail with longing for Your salvation and for your righteous Word.  124 Deal with your servant according to Your lovingkindness and teach me Your statues.  125  I am Your servant; give me understanding that I may know Your testimonies.  126 It is time for You to act, O Yehovah, for they have broken Your law.  127 Therefore I love Your commandments above gold, yes above fine gold.  128 Therefore I esteem right all Your precepts concerning everything.  I hate every false way.  

113 I hate the double-minded, but I love Your law.  114 You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word.  115 Depart from me, you evildoers, for I will keep the commandments of my God!"  116 Uphold me according to Your word, that I may live; and do not let me be ashamed of my hope.  117 Hold me up, and I shall be safe, and I shall observe Your statutes continually.  118 You reject all those who stray from Your statutes, for their deceit is falsehood.  119 You put away all the wicked of the earth like dross; therefore I love Your testimonies.  120 My flesh trembles for fear of You, and I am afraid of Your judgments.  

105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.  106 I have sworn and confirmed that I will keep Your righteous judgments.  107 I am afflicted very much; revive me, O Yehovah, according to Your word.  108 Accept, I pray, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O Yehovah, and teach me Your judgments.  109 My life is continually in my hand, yet I do not forget Your law.  110 The wicked have laid a snare of me, yet I have not strayed from Your precepts.  111 Your testimonies I have taken as a heritage forever, for they are the rejoicing of my heart.  112 I have inclined my heart to perform Your statutes forever, to the very end.  

97 Oh, how I love Your law!  It is my meditation all the day.  98 You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies; for they are ever with me.  99 I have more understanding than all my teachers, for Your testimonies are my mediation.  100 "I understand more than the ancients, because I keep Your precepts.  101 I have restrained my feet from every evil way, that I may keep Your word.  102 I have not departed from Your judgments, for You Yourself have taught me.  103  How sweet are Your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!  104 Through Your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way. 

89  Forever, O Yehovah, Your word is settled in heaven.  90 Your faithfulness endures to all generations; You established the earth, and it abides.  91 They continue this day according to Your ordinances, for all are Your servants.  92 Unless Your law had been my delight, I would then have perished in my affliction.  93 I will never forget Your precepts, for by them You have given me life.  94 I am Yours, save me; for I have sought Your precepts.  95 The wicked wait for me to destroy me, but I will consider your testimonies.  96 I have seen the consummation of all perfection, but Your commandment is exceedingly broad.  

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  2 I will say of Yehovah, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust."

81 My soul languishes for Your salvation; I wait for Your word.  82 My eyes fail with longing for Your word, while I say, "When will You comfort me?"  83 Though I have become like a wineskin in the smoke, I do not forget Your statutes.  84 How many are the days of Your servant?  When will You execute judgment on those who persecute me?  85 The arrogant have dug pits for me, men who are not in accord with Your law.  86 All Your commandments are faithful; they have persecuted me with a lie; help me!  87 They almost destroyed me on earth, but as for me, I did not forsake Your precepts.  88 Revive me according to Your lovingkindness, so that I may keep the testimony of Your mouth.  

You hands made me and fashioned me; give me understanding, that i may learn your commandments. 74  May those who fear You see me and be glad, because I wait for Your word.  75 I know Yehovah, that Your judgements are righteous, and that in faithfulness You have afflicted me.  76 O may Your lovingkindness comfort me, according to Your word to Your servant.  77 may Your compassion come to me that I may live, for Your law is my delight.  78 may the arrogant be ashamed, for they subvert me with a lie, but I shall meditate on Your precepts.  79 May those who fear You turn to me, even those who know Your testimonies.  80 May my heart be blameless in Your statutes, so that I will not be ashamed.  

You have dealt well with your servant, O Yehovah, according to Your word.  66 Teach me good discernment and knowledge for I believe in Your commandments.  67 Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep Your word.  68 You are good and do good; teach me Your statutes.  69 The arrogant have forged a lie against me; with all my heart I will observe your precepts.  70 Their heart is covered with fat, but I delight in Your law.  71 It is good for me that I was afflicted, that I many learn Your statutes.  72 the law of Your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver pieces.  

57 You are my portion, O Yehovah; I have said that I would keep Your words.  58 I entreated Your favor with my whole heart; be merciful to me according to Your word.  59 I thought about my ways, and turned my feet to Your testimonies.  60 I made haste, and did not delay to keep Your commandments.  61 The cords of the wicked have bound me,  but I have not forgotten your law.  62  At midnight I will rise to give thanks to You, because of Your righteous judgments.  63 I am a companion of all who fear your, and of those who keep Your precepts.  64 The earth, O Yehovah, is full of Your mercy; teach me Your statutes.  

Remember your promise to me; it is my only hope.  50 Your promise revives me; it comforts me in all my troubles.  51 The proud hold me in utter contempt, but I do not turn away from Your instructions.  52 I meditate on Your age-old regulations; Yehovah they comfort me.  53 I became furious with the wicked, because they reject Your instructions.  54 Your decrees have been the theme of my songs wherever I have lived.  55 I reflect at night on who You are Yehovah; therefore, I obey Your instructions.  56 This is how I spend my life:  obeying Your commandments.  

Yehovah, give me your unfailing love, the salvation that you promised me.  42 Then I can answer those who taunt me, for I trust in your word.  43  Do not snatch your word of truth from me, for your regulations are my only hope.  44 I will keep on obeying your instructions forever and ever.  45  I will walk in freedom, for I have devoted myself to your commandments.   46 I will speak to kings about your laws, and I will not be ashamed.  47 How I delight in your commands!  How I love them!  48 I honor and love your commands.  I meditate on your decrees.  

33 Teach me, O Yehovah, the way of Your statutes, and I shall keep it to the end.  34 Give me understanding, and I shall keep Your law; indeed, I shall observe it with my whole heart.  35 Make me walk in the path of Your commandments, for I delight in it.  36 Incline my heart to your testimonies, and not to covetousness.  37 Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things, and revive me in your way.  38 Establish Your word to your servant, who is devoted to fearing You.  39 Turn away my reproach which I dread, for your judgments are good.  40 Behold, I long for Your precepts; revive me in You righteousness.  

My soul clings to the dust; revive me according to Your word.  26 I have declared my ways and You answered me; teach me Your statutes.  27 Make me understand the way of Your precepts; so shall I meditate on your wonderful works.  28 My soul melts from heaviness; strengthen me according to your word.  29 Remove from me the way of lying, and grant me Your law graciously.  30 I have chosen the way of truth; Your judgments I have laid before me.  31 I cling to Your testimonies;  O Yehovah, do not put me to shame!  32 I will run the course of Your commandments, for You shall enlarge my heart.  

Deal bountifully with Your servant, that I may live and keep Your word. 18 Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things from Your law.  19 I am a stranger in the earth; do not hide Your commandments from me.  20 My soul breaks with longing for Your judgments at all times.  21 You rebuke the proud - the cursed, who stray from Your commandments.  22 Remove from me reproach and contempt, for I have kept Your testimonies.  23 Princes also sit and speak against me, but Your servant meditates on Your statutes.  24 Your testimonies also are my delight and my counselors.  

How can a young man cleanse his way?  By taking heed according to Your word.  10 With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh, let me not sin against You.  12 Blessed are You, O Yehovah!  Teach me Your statutes.  13 With my lips I have declared all the judgements of Your mouth.  14  I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, as much as in all riches.  15  I will meditate on Your precepts, and contemplate Your ways.  16  I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word.  

Wait on Yehovah; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on Yehovah!

Teach me Your way, O YHVH, and lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies.  12 Do not deliver me to the will of my adversaries; for false witnesses have risen against me, and such as breathe out violence.  13 I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of YHVH in the land of the living.  

8 When You said, "Seek My face," my heart said to You, "Your face, oh Yehovah i will seek."  9 Do not hide Your face from me, do not turn Your servant away in anger, you have been my help; do not abandon me nor forsake me, oh God of my salvation!  10 For my father and my mother have forsaken me, but Yehovah will take me up.  

5 for in the day of trouble, He will conceal me in His tabernacle, in the secret place of His tent He will hide me, He will lift me up on a rock 6 and now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me, and I will offer in His tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to Yehovah.  7 O Yehovah, when I cry with my voice, and be gracious to me. 

4 One thing I have asked from YHVH, that I shall seek:  that I may dwell in the house of YHVH all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of YHVH and to meditate in His temple.  5 For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; in the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock. 

1 YHVH is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear?  YHVH is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?  2 When the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh, my enemies and foes, they stumbled and fell.  3 Though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war may rise against me, in this I will be confident.  

He restores my soul; he leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.

5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies, You have anointed my head with oil, my cup overflows, 6 surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of YHVH forever.  

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil;  for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. 

Psalm 119:1-3 Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of YHVH!  2 Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart! 3 They also do no iniquity; they walk in His ways.

Colossians 2:8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.  

Psalm 23:1-2
YHVH is my shepherd, I shall not want. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters.  

10 "Hear, O YHVH, and be gracious to me;  O YHVH, be my helper."  11 You have turned for me my mourning into dancing:  You have loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness.  12 That my soul may sing praise to You and not be silent.  O YHVH my God, I will give thanks to You forever.

Rev 19:11-16  Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse.  And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.  12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns.   He had a name written that no one knew except Himself, 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called the Word of God.  14 And the armies in heaven clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.  15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations.  And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron.  He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:  KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.  

6 Now as for me, I said in my prosperity, "I will never be moved."  7 O YHVH, by Your favor You have made my mountain to stand strong; You hid Your face, I was dismayed. 8 To You, O YHVH, I called, and to the Lord I made supplication:  9 "What profit is there in my blood, if I go down to the pit?  Will the dust praise You?  Will it declare your faithfulness?"

4 Sing praise to YHVH, you His godly ones, and give thanks to His holy name.  5 For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, but a shout of joy comes in the morning.

I will extol You, YHVH, for You have lifted me up, and have not let my foes rejoice over me.  2 YHVH my God, I cried out to You, and You healed me.  3 Oh YHVH, You have brought up my soul from Sheol; You have kept me alive, that I would not go down to the pit.
