An indie alternative artist from Lancaster Pennsylvania, Zoey is best known for her distinctive vocals and her ability to sing soulfully while playing bass. She also performs as the frontwoman of Zoey and the Iconic, a dynamic four piece band where she plays bass and sings lead vocals alongside two guitarists and a drummer.

Anthony Esposito is an American rock bassist, music producer, recording engineer, and studio owner best known for his work with the hard-rock bands Lynch Mob and Red Dragon Cartel, as well as his long association with Ace Frehley. He is also the founder and owner of Obscenic Arts Recording Studio, a boutique recording facility in Pennsylvania known for producing and engineering rock records for both established and emerging artists. Anthony has worked with some exceptional artists over the years, and you will get to hear a lot more details about them in this episode.

American Vanity (Formerly: Burn the Jukebox) formed in 2020 from a dream of a then 13 year old Virginia Franks, she recruited anyone she could to push this dream into a reality. Now consisting of Virginia, Luke Hoffman, Luke Vanchure, and Carter Dennis. American Vanity has seen incredible success in less than 6 years of being a band. This past January they rebranded from Burn the Jukebox to American Vanity, and later that month they released a new single "Lifeline".

Dan Brenner:
2025 Educator of Note - Dan is the Director of Modern Music for Spring Grove Area High School with 24 years of dedicated instruction. His accolades include being a quarter-finalist for the Grammy Educator Award and earning recognition as an Outstanding Teacher by Shippensburg University. Dan has a dual bachelor’s degrees in Music Education and Music with a focus on jazz and percussion, a master’s degrees in Classroom Technology from Wilkes University and in Music Education from Lebanon Valley College. Dan performs live as a solo artist and in many bands; one of which, Dreadnoughts, has recorded 7 albums.

Todd Bedard is the President of the Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of Fame.
Todd's love and dedication for music runs deep. From attending shows for almost 4 decades, to running a fundraising music show at Cumberland Valley High School. Todd is truly dedicated to lifting up and promoting our local artists, including young adults. Todd is also the host of the Youth Music Showcase, an annual showcase to support and highlight local youth artists.

Brandon Valentine is the Executive Director and Founder of the Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of Fame. He is the man behind the curtain, in a good way. Performing with nearly a dozen bands over 2 decades, and currently playing drums in a handful of bands at any given time. Brandon also co-hosts "The Local Show" a radio show on 97.3 FM with Glenn Hamilton every Sunday at 8pm. We really can't say enough about this guy. He really is one of a kind.

Richard Phelan

2025 CPMHOF Lifetime Achievement Award Winner:
Richard (Dick) E. Phelan was born and raised in the Allison Hill area of Harrisburg. Dick had an initial love of sports and music. He graduated from John Harris HS in 1963. While in high school, he began his music career with a group of other classmates forming “The Organization” (which included future founder of The Magnificent Men, Bob Angelucci).
While on the road in 1964, he found a property on N Front St. in Harrisburg that was for lease and he had a vision that would soon become “The Barn.”
He soon outgrew that location and decided to go big with the acquisition of a parcel of farm property in suburban Harrisburg, on which, he opened The Raven on Thanksgiving weekend in 1965. Opening night the house band was “The Magnificent Seven” (soon to become The Magnificent Men).
By 1968, Dick was looking for bigger venues to promote his musical connections. He sold The Raven (it became The Rover) and embarked on a career of promotion national acts all over the east coast. He was a road manager and promoter for such acts as Grand Funk Railroad, Uriah Heep, an early version of Chicago, Aerosmith, Earth, Wind, & Fire, and more! He had the first US booking for a new British artist, Elton John. He also controlled a northeast corridor of minor league hockey rinks, which became perfect venues for concerts.
Later in life, Dick’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish a string of successful restaurants, numbering as many as 19. This included the famous Gingerbread Man franchise and another special music venue, Rod’s Roadhouse.

Ed. degree in Elementary Reading and Literacy. She was inducted into the Lebanon County Musicians Hall of Fame in 2014, and is a member of the Lebanon County Educators Honor Society. Jeff was awarded the first "Educator of Note" award from the CPMHOF in 2019. Now retired from Academia, Jeff has many ventures still related to music education and music production. You may know him from his band, Nate Myers & the Aces; a band with many dynamic sounds inspired by blues, funk, hip hop, country and even a little rock! Nate is the front man and Harmonicist of the band who has spent over 20 years in the central Pennsylvania music community. Nate Myers and the Aces have been established in Central PA for over 20 years. They are professional, flexible, and easy to work with. Earlier this week we were invited to sit down with Dr. Barry Atticks and some members of the Lilla Jul Rockeband at Millersville University to discuss their most recent project. Recently they traveled to Iceland to shoot a short film and music video for their Tell School of Music 2024 Winter Music Video.
This film and music video (as well as the audio of the song) will be released on December 12th, 2024.

Here we are, the final episode of Season 3. We finished this season off with an Exclusive Interview with Crobot while they were all in PA for their 2025 tour.

We had the pleasure of sitting down in the Studio with Brandon and Bishop of Crobot. A band from Pottsville, PA; Crobot is a local self described Dirty Groove Rock Band. Consisting of 4 members, Brandon, Bishop, Dan, and Pat, Crobot has grown from a dream in 2011 to a full blown touring Rock Band with 5 Studio Albums. These guys certainly offer a unique and captivating sound.

2024 Youth Music Showcase @ Millersville University

Another amazing year of the Youth Music Showcase! This year was hosted at Millersville University, their team and sound team did an incredible job.
The lineup for this year was:

It was amazing to see returning performers and see how they have grown over the last year. We also got to see a lot of new acts that really knocked it out of the park.
Thank you to all of the kids, young adults, parents, and faculty that put their time and efforts into making this another incredible show.

Earl David Reed - Exclusive Interview

Known best for his Comedy and many years as a host on 105.7 The X, Earl David Reed is a staple of Central PA. Jess is an award winning local Country Artist with more nominations than we can list. Winning the "Best Female Vocalist" CPMA in 2019 and the "Best Country Band" CPMA in 2021. The band's newly released album "Be the Light" was released in May and they are currently touring the US. Terry Selders; Terry is the Executive Director of the Keystone Musical Arts Center. He has a very impressive background in music education, production, and management. He has worked with bands such as: The Badlees, The Jellybricks, Small Town Titans, and many more. Terry was also recently added to the Advisory Committee of the Hall of Fame.

Cody Frain of If Not For Me; 2022 "Best Metal Band" CPMA winner and long time friends of the show. If Not For Me is a self-described four piece metalcore outfit based in Central PA. INFM has produced 2 EPs and 1 full length album as well as a many singles. Their recent singles "Demons" and "Feel Me Now" from earlier in 2023 are available for streaming everywhere you can find music.
Unfortunately we were not able to have more of the band present, but fortunately Cody was able to make it and was an excellent representation of the band.

Sherri Mullen is an award-winning singer/songwriter, the owner of RDSD Publishing, and a voting member of NARAS (Grammy Awards). She also works with individuals, companies, and colleges as a Music Business Consultant--helping them to understand the complexities of music rights management. Sherri taught in the Music Business Program at Lebanon Valley College for over 13 years and continues to serve as an advisor to the college’s student-run Vale Records label. Her passion is to support, empower, and educate music creators and others who manage intellectual property, so that they can protect their copyrights and maximize their royalty streams.

Next up is Pentagon! Pentagon is a six-piece show band that plays rock 'n' roll and rhythm and blues. Formed in 1971, the band showcases music from Wilson Picket, Buddy Holly, U2 and much more.
In early 1971, Rich Clare asked long time friend Jim Colestock to form what would become Rich Clare Pentagon. During the 20 years Rich Clare Pentagon traveled, they became a mainstay in the Atlantic City Casinos, played Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Puerto Rico. They also appeared on a Showtime special entitled "Steve Allen Live on the QE2".
In 1991 the band came off the road to call it farewell. At the 20th reunion concert at Hershey Park, the attendance was so amazing that Hershey asked the band to return to perform every summer. The band now plays a full schedule year round including casinos, dances, fairs, fundraisers, carnivals and more.
To this day the two original members Rich Clare and Jim Colestock still perform with the band - and do it well!

The Menzingers are an American punk rock band from Scranton, PA.
