What are you truly focused on?

In Luke 12:16-21, Jesus tells the story of a man who seemed successful by every earthly standard. His business was thriving, his barns were full, and his future looked secure. Yet God called him a fool. Why? Because he had become focused on everything except what mattered most.

In this message, "What Am I Focused On?", Pastor Eric challenges us to examine where our attention, priorities, and affections are really aimed. Are we more focused on God's blessings than on God Himself? Are we investing more in our earthly future than our eternal one? Many people live with the mindset of, “I think I can.” We try harder, do more good works, become more religious, and hope it will be enough. But in Matthew 7:21-23, Jesus gives one of the most sobering warnings in all of Scripture: not everyone who thinks they know Him actually belongs to Him.

In this powerful message, "I Think I Can, I Think I Can," Pastor Eric challenges us to examine where our confidence truly lies. Are we trusting in our own efforts, our church attendance, our good deeds, or are we trusting completely in the finished work of Jesus Christ?

The good news of the Gospel is not "I think I can." The good news is "I know He did." Jesus lived the perfect life we could never live, died the death we deserved, and rose again so that all who repent and place their faith in Him can be saved.

This past Sunday, our lead pastor, Eric Stewart, delivered a powerful message from Second Epistle to the Corinthians 4:1–6 titled “Let There Be Light.”

We were challenged to refuse to quit when life gets hard—because what feels like a setback may actually be God setting us up for His glory. The call was clear: get up and don’t give up.

Pastor Eric then pressed us deeper—reminding us that real freedom begins when we get honest before God, laying down sin, shame, and anything we’ve been hiding. Because you can’t heal what you won’t reveal.

From there, the message turned outward: your light matters. God hasn’t overlooked you—He’s called and sent you. The very answer you’ve been praying for in someone else’s life might be staring back at you in the mirror.

We were also reminded of a sobering truth—many people around us are spiritually blind, not resistant but unable to see. That reality should stir compassion and urgency in how we live and love.

This past Sunday, April 19th, during our morning worship gathering, Lead Pastor Eric Stewart opened up a powerful new journey through the book of 2 Corinthians with a message titled “The Power of Affliction.”

Right from the beginning of chapter one, we’re reminded of something that often feels contradictory—yet deeply true: that God is both fully aware of our pain and fully present within it. Paul introduces God as the “Father of mercies and the God of all comfort,” and Pastor Eric unpacked what that really means for us—not as an abstract idea, but as a lived reality.

This message challenged us to rethink what comfort actually is. It’s not always God pulling us out of hardship—but more often, it’s God walking with us through it. In a world that constantly seeks escape from pain, we were reminded that God’s promise is His presence, not always immediate relief.

As the sermon unfolded, we saw that affliction and comfort don’t exist separately—they often overflow together. The same life that experiences deep struggle can also experience overwhelming grace. It’s in our weakness that God’s strength becomes most visible.

One of the most impactful truths from the message was this: our affliction may not just be about us. God can use our pain as a platform to shine light into someone else’s darkness. The struggles we walk through can become testimonies that point others to hope, healing, and ultimately, to Him.

Podcast Overview – “Kingdom Business”
Preached March 8, 2026 by Pastor Eric Stewart

In this powerful message from 1 Corinthians 5:6–13, Pastor Eric Stewart confronts one of the most uncomfortable—but necessary—topics in the life of the church: dealing with sin within the body of Christ. The church in Corinth had begun to compromise, tolerating sin so severe that even the surrounding culture recognized it as wrong. Through the Apostle Paul’s instruction, we are reminded that a compromising church becomes a crippled church, but a pure church becomes a powerful witness for Christ.

Drawing from Scripture and practical illustrations, Pastor Eric challenges believers to recognize that unrepented sin never stays small—it always grows. Like yeast spreading through dough, tolerated sin quietly expands until it affects the entire body. As quoted from J. Vernon McGee, “A pure church is a powerful church, but an impure church is a paralyzed church.”

This sermon walks through four critical truths about handling Kingdom Business:

It Is Time to Clean Out – Believers must stop boasting in themselves while ignoring sin. True courage means confronting sin boldly and lovingly, because what goes unaddressed will always grow. The Issue Is Sin in the Church – Scripture makes clear that the church cannot expect the lost world to live like redeemed people. The call to holiness begins inside the body of Christ, where believers are called to live differently. Kingdom Instruction – Rather than operating from emotions, opinions, gossip, or complaints, Jesus Himself gave clear instructions in Matthew 18 for dealing with conflict and sin. Pastor Eric explains the biblical process:

One-on-one conversation
Bring others with you if needed
Bring the matter to the church

This process is not about winning arguments but winning back brothers and sisters. As Dietrich Bonhoeffer warned, “Nothing can be more cruel than the leniency which abandons others to their sin.” And as Ken Sande reminds us, “The goal of confrontation is restoration, not condemnation.”

Remove the Evil – Ultimately, the church must take sin seriously. Pastor Eric calls believers to stop fighting with sin and start fighting against it. True repentance isn’t simply feeling bad—it is turning away and following Christ. As J. D. Greear says, “Repentance is not just feeling bad about sin; it’s turning away from it.”

The message closes with a clear challenge:
We don’t work for Burger King where we get it “our way.”
We serve the King of Kings, and Kingdom people must handle conflict the King’s way.

This sermon will challenge you to examine your own life, your relationships within the church, and your willingness to obey Christ’s instructions even when the conversations are hard. Because when God’s people handle Kingdom Business God’s way, the result is healing, restoration, and a church that shines like stars in a dark world.

Which Way? | 1 Corinthians 4:6–17

This week’s message picks up the momentum from D-NOW’s theme, “THE WAY,” and presses the question deeper: Which Way are you actually walking?

In Which Way?, we open to 1 Corinthians 4:6–17 and confront four defining realities of the Christian life:

1️⃣ How Are You Viewed? (vv. 6–13)
Your life is preaching a sermon long before your mouth ever does. Scripture reminds us in 1 Timothy 3:7 and 1 Peter 2:12 that our reputation matters—not for ego, but for witness. As A.W. Tozer said, “The world is not won by argument but by example.” You are an ambassador for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20). The question is: Are you clarifying Jesus to the world… or confusing Him?

2️⃣ Discipleship Is Key (vv. 14–15)
We don’t just need more information—we need transformation through intentional relationships. Echoing the command of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19–20), this message calls believers to move beyond programs and into personal disciple-making. As Dietrich Bonhoeffer warned, “Christianity without discipleship is always Christianity without Christ.” Faithful men and women reproduce faithful men and women (2 Timothy 2:2). Disciples make disciples.

3️⃣ What Will You Imitate? (v. 16)
You become what you behold. The apostle Paul boldly says, “Imitate me as I imitate Christ” (1 Corinthians 11:1). From Tim Keller’s reminder that “You don’t become what you want. You become what you worship,” to Voddie Baucham’s warning that you are discipling your children whether you intend to or not—this message challenges you to examine your patterns, influences, and example. Change the ingredients, and you change the outcome.

4️⃣ Which Way? (v. 17)
Like Joshua’s call in Joshua 24:15, the decision is personal and urgent. There are only two paths—life or destruction (John 10:10; Romans 6:23). Following Christ is not passive. It requires cross-bearing before crown-wearing, as Charles Spurgeon powerfully said.

This episode is a bold call to examine your witness, embrace intentional discipleship, choose Christlike imitation, and settle once and for all the direction of your life.

This week, our Lead Pastor, Eric Stewart, challenges us with a piercing and personal question: Do I truly want revival?

Revival isn’t hype. It isn’t emotion. It isn’t a moment at the altar. Biblical revival is a spiritual reawakening—a return to obedience, holiness, hunger for God’s Word, repentance, and bold witness. It is the Spirit of God producing visible fruit in everyday life.

Walking straight through Galatians 5:16–26, Pastor Eric reminds us that revival begins internally before it ever shows up externally.

You must be Spirit-led — and to be Spirit-led, you must be Spirit-fed. The Holy Spirit never contradicts the Word of God. Left to ourselves, we miss the mark every time. But through Christ, we have everything required for life and godliness.
There is a battle inside of you. Flesh versus Spirit. Mindset versus mindset. You don’t drift into revival—you fight for it. Take up the armor. Resist. Prepare. Take your stand.
The works of the flesh are obvious. No more excuses. No more justification. Be honest. Repent. Believe. Follow Jesus.
What are you practicing? Practice makes permanent. If there’s no change in your practice, there’s no change in your play.
The fruit of the Spirit isn’t manufactured—it’s cultivated. You can’t produce it, but you are responsible to cultivate what the Spirit grows.
What have you crucified? You either crucify sin, or sin will crucify you. Revival always requires a cross.
Stay lined up. Keep showing up. Keep getting into the Word until the Word gets into you. Fix your eyes on Jesus.

Quoting voices like Jonathan Edwards, A. W. Tozer, and R. C. Sproul, this message reinforces that revival begins with obedience, humility, repentance, and submission to the authority of Scripture.

The standard isn’t your neighbor.
The standard is Christ.
And the fruit tells the story.

This episode is not just a sermon—it’s a mirror. A call to stop playing church and start crucifying flesh. A call to fight the internal battle. A call to line up daily with the Spirit of God.

Revival is possible.

But the real question is:
Do I truly want revival?

DON’T TURN BACK | Galatians 3:27–4:9

In this message from Galatians 3 and 4, we are reminded of a powerful truth: freedom in Christ is not something we earn—it’s something we live in. Paul’s words confront our tendency to drift backward into old ways of thinking, living, and relating to God after we’ve already been set free.

This episode walks through four gospel realities every believer must hold onto:

We must be born again, not just improved or religious, but radically transformed by Christ.
We are no longer slaves, but sons and daughters—heirs of God through adoption, not performance.
We are not merely people who know about God, but those who are truly known by Him in a covenant, relational way.
And because of all this, the call is clear and uncompromising: don’t turn back.

Paul warns that returning to bondage—whether legalism, sin, fear, or self-reliance—robs us of the joy, freedom, and identity Christ died to give us. Jesus didn’t save us so we could live half-free or keep looking over our shoulder. He calls us to press forward, hands on the plow, eyes fixed ahead.

You can leave forgiven, adopted, known, and free…
or you can stay exactly where you are.

This episode is a challenge to stand firm in grace, live as an heir, and refuse to trade the glory of Christ for the crumbs of the past.

Don’t turn back.

FIVE KEYS TO UNITY IN 2024

1. Reading Plan –

[Psa 119:11 CSB] 18 Open my eyes so that I may contemplate wondrous things from your instruction.

5 days of reading 2 Chapters a week we will read Acts Romans 1&2 Corinthians Galatians Ephesians Philippians Colossians 1&2 Timothy Titus Philemon

Who–What–Where- When–WhyDay1
4 Days HEAR Journaling
Saturday – Fasting and prayer. Verse of the Day Sunday – Personal Worship Verses of the Day

2. Grow Groups –

Be intentional start one!!
Use resources not excuses.
Grow together- Great Commission – Pray together

[Pro 27:17 CSB] 17 Iron sharpens iron, and one person sharpens another.

3. Know Groups –

Unity only happens in community!

We will see this as we start our reading plan in 2024.

[Amo 3:3 CSB] 3 Can two walk together without agreeing to meet?

4. “Hide It” verses –

[Psa 119:11 CSB] 11 I have treasured your word in my heart so that I may not sin against you.

One Another verses 24

Two verses a month
Learn them together as a family

We will look at them each Sunday and we will be challenged to hide them in our heart but also live it out during those two weeks.

5. Church of the Month –

[Jhn 13:34-35 CSB] 34 "I give you a new command: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you are also to love one another. 35 "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

We are going to pray for them each Sunday of the Month and you will have opportunities to encourage their Pastor and his bride.
