She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy Studies from the University of Waterloo and multiple Not-for-Profit Certifications from CPA Canada. She started her career with Ernst & Young, working in the Toronto, Cayman Islands, New York FSO, and Calgary offices, gaining expertise in audit of financial services clients before moving to learning and development, resource management and recruiting. Stephanie gained significant not-for-profit industry experience through private consulting on strategic planning, operational efficiencies, governance, stakeholder engagement, and social enterprise feasibility studies. She joined EducationMatters as Executive Director in 2025, after having managed the Palix Foundation and Alberta Family Wellness Initiative.

About Our Guest

Mark Holik has been a dedicated advocate for community safety through his long-standing involvement with Crime Stoppers. He began his service with the Edmonton and Northern Alberta Crime Stoppers chapter in 2008 as a board member. In 2013, Mark was elected Vice President, and in 2014, he stepped into the role of President, serving two impactful terms until 2020.

In 2020, Mark’s leadership extended to the national level when he joined the Canadian Crime Stoppers Association, where he currently serves as Vice President. Recognizing the need for a more unified provincial presence, Mark also played a pivotal role in the formation of the Alberta Crime Stoppers Board in 2022 and now serves as its Chair.

Through every role, Mark Holik remains passionate about building safer, stronger communities where families can thrive, and citizens can play a direct role in crime prevention through anonymous reporting

About Our Guest

Mark Holik has been a dedicated advocate for community safety through his long-standing involvement with Crime Stoppers. He began his service with the Edmonton and Northern Alberta Crime Stoppers chapter in 2008 as a board member. In 2013, Mark was elected Vice President, and in 2014, he stepped into the role of President, serving two impactful terms until 2020.

In 2020, Mark’s leadership extended to the national level when he joined the Canadian Crime Stoppers Association, where he currently serves as Vice President. Recognizing the need for a more unified provincial presence, Mark also played a pivotal role in the formation of the Alberta Crime Stoppers Board in 2022 and now serves as its Chair.

Through every role, Mark Holik remains passionate about building safer, stronger communities where families can thrive, and citizens can play a direct role in crime prevention through anonymous reporting

With a career spanning various industries, Diana Davis has taken on management roles in accounting, business operations, and entrepreneurship. She joined the Jerry Forbes Centre Foundation (JFCF) in 2016 as part-time Finance Director, and in June 2019, she assumed the role of Executive Director following the departure of Max Scharfenberger. Since stepping into this role, Diana has been responsible for overseeing the Foundation and the Centre, collaborating with the Board of Directors, handling tenant applications, and managing property operations.

Outside of her professional life, Diana treasures spending time with her two adult children and her granddaughter. As a lifelong animal lover, her home is shared with a pair of cats and an energetic Belgian Shepherd. She also spends much of my free time with her horse, a passion that has been a cornerstone of her life for over 40 years.

After further specialization he returned to the University of Alberta and works as an academic associate professor of surgery with particular interest in burns, cold injury, trauma, complex wounds and skin malignancies. Dr. Wong is the clinical competency chair for the residency program as well as the quality assurance officer of the Edmonton Firefighters’ Burn Treatment Center.

Jhoanna has been with Canadian Blood Services for 14 years and is responsible for donor relations, donor recruitment and partnership management for the Calgary fixed site donor center. With over 48,000 whole blood units’ collections target and 5000 new donor targets, the Canadian Blood Services Calgary fixed site is one the most successful and largest blood donor center in Canada. Jhoanna grew the Partners for Life program from 40 partner organizations in 2010 to currently over 500 partner organizations supporting Canadian Blood Services.

Jhoanna Del Rosario is the Community Development Manager for Canadian Blood Services Calgary. Jhoanna has been with Canadian Blood Services for 14 years and is responsible for donor relations, donor recruitment and partnership management for the Calgary fixed site donor center. With over 48,000 whole blood units’ collections target and 5000 new donor targets, the Canadian Blood Services Calgary fixed site is one the most successful and largest blood donor center in Canada. Jhoanna grew the Partners for Life program from 40 partner organizations in 2010 to currently over 500 partner organizations supporting Canadian Blood Services.

Her ability to channel her experiences into life-changing initiatives for others demonstrates the resilience and greater purpose of her soul. Her work at Little Warriors and the Be Brave Ranch has led to ground-breaking, science-backed, and trauma-informed treatment for child sexual abuse survivors and their families. 

One of the lessons that Glori’s experience has taught her is to be more present and to allow herself to be vulnerable. By sharing her story and vulnerabilities it has allowed her to feel more whole, happy, and content in life. It is in that vulnerability and leading from a place of love that she started to build beautiful things. What started off as a dream, has changed the course of so many lives and it continues to for future generations.
