My story is founded by those who came before me. As the granddaughter of two Holocaust survivors, I have always been intrigued and pulled in by survival stories. How do people manage not only horrible things, but day to day existence in the world. What makes people tick? What makes us resilient?

We are ALL managing some sort of challenge. When we think about how we can manage these challenges- it’s not only helpful for US to know how, it’s imperative that family, friends, community members, systemic leadership ALSO know about how to identify and manage these things too. This is what WE ARE MISSING. This community approach, this human approach to managing difficulties. We need to build more opportunities for community and be able to find connection through our struggles and resiliencies.

Listen in and find out what we struggle with, how to identify those struggles and how to manage those struggles. Each week on Managing With Dr. Meli, I’m having conversations for us to prepare both ourselves and others in navigating this crazy world.
